Weeks had gone by since the mysterious trader had left. Verdandi was still trying to figure out what this was all about. They certainly pulled a good deal out for themselves on both sides but she wasn't really sure if she could trust that man. Never the less. The science team had done all its potential research on the eye in question and was clueless towards what to do with it now. Weeks of contemplation had gone by and Verdandi, who had been wearing her Eyepatch over her right eye since she was but of fourteen years. Fighting the blindness that was creeping up into the core of her weak eye, had more and more come to terms with her family's suggestion to put the weapon of their enemy to use in the most practical way possible. Now that all data had been covered. More research on the deeper levels of the Sharingan's mechanics could only be deducted by actually using it. Many of the Yuki and Dao Clan had offered themselves to play the guinea pig on this task. However, Verdandi's situation and the fact that she and her sisters acquired the bio weapon, had put her in direct favour.

It took her a few weeks of contemplation if it was a good idea or not to tarnish her body with the weapon of the devil. Since the days of Hao, these eyes had always been seen as nothing but the very source of evil that befell their land. Verdandi was yet still unaware if her adoption to the eye would slowly turn herself in the very monster they shunned, or if it really would imply power and control over what they had feared for so long. Most medical concerns however were nullified by Deacon, Verdandi's father and medic, whom made sure that if anything went terribly wrong with the project in the long run, they could always remove the eye again and replace it with one of the healthy organs in their store. Seeing how Verd was going blind there, it didn't really make sense to not try it at least, the surgery was incoming anyway. Why not combine both evils and try to create something of potential use from it? Verdandi had been set up for surgery, prepared for the last few days and weeks. Trained to deal with the after effects and set up for recovery ahead.

They didn't want to do it in one of the simple tents. So, they moved the whole project to a little, clean building nearby the Yuki encampment. Sterilized, disinfected multiple times. Despite the low risks that usually came along on this kind of surgery compared to others. Still many things could go wrong. For this very reason, Deacon had refused to do the surgery with his mere B-Ranked skillset in medical training. The Dao's would certainly save no expenses to hire a proper professional for this one. A multitude of support staff was already in place. The room was set up and ready to go. Verdandi still nervously paced up and down the corridors. Sometimes lifting her eye-patch, closing her healthy one to get a last good feeling of how the world was shadowy and faded within this oculus. She couldn't imagine how it'd feel like to suddenly be able to see again fully. Even more so with an eye that supposedly showed you things far beyond a normal human's capabilities.

Studying the various scrolls, they had on Hao and the Uchiha Clan, Verd had spent many nights trying to figure out how it would be to have this. Reports from previously conducted transplants that were successful, hinted towards the drawback that they couldn't shut off their eye ability. Forcing them to either wear an eyepatch just as she did now already or live with the exhausting chakra surge of the Sharingan. Verdandi took in a deep breath. To be simply able to see with both eyes, even if it wasn't all day long and gaining another strength enhancing tool for her path to become the powerful Ninjutsu Master she was aiming for. She couldn't really choose if she was intensely excited or horribly scared by the whole prospect. Deacon was trying to calm her down. Having complete faith in the skills of the hired shinobi. But before the transplant would happen Verd would have to meet the man going by the name of Tsuyo. While her father seemed to know him at least by his name. Verd had no idea about the deeper connections of him and his own past with her aunt Ayakashi.

Verd was simply said, too focused on the potential results. Distracted to say at least. Not to mention that, despite her own interest in medical care, she certainly disliked actual surgery. Verd wasn't really sure if she'd remain conscious or not. She was hoping to be sent to a comfy dreamworld while this all happened. If that was possible was yet to be seen. Literally. The doctor would get to decide what exact procedure would require from the spoiled young ice princess. The Yuki complex was in motion. The guards of the camp were covering the whole area. Verdandi's sisters tried to distract themselves with the ongoing diplomatic contracts and trade offers. However, the actual seller of the eye had long since left the trading camps. While the origins of this eye would remain a mystery to the Yuki Clan. The traders story had its own legit parts. According to Maigo, Verdandi's Uchiha Squad leader, there was no hint towards any members going recently missing. He could however not give full closure over it, considering how scattered the Clan had become and that many of them not rarely fought each other these days. He also didn't seem bothered if not even intrigued by the fact that one of his students would end up with a weapon of his own blood. But time for preparation was almost up. The hired medical genius was supposed to arrive any minute now.

Tsuyo would glance across the sands over the Kiri camp. His silver eyes looking from behind the purple tinted glasses. The compound was well below him and he had been spotted and questioned three times just riding his caravan there. Security was fairly tight but his invitation got him through with an escort so long as they remained close to their patrol. They had broken off all three times and it was within an hour before he ran into another patrol. The main road sure was a pain but he also hadn't been intercepted by bandits. So if nothing else the patrols were serving their purpose. Keeping bandits at bay for just having an active presence. Really all of this was a bother for a retired man like himself. He was comfortable though in the carriage as it had its own cool air cycling within it. The driver and the horses were not as lucky but they had stopped within the shadow of some rocks several times to water the horses and soak their coats in cool water. A preventative measure from heat exhaustion they said. He understood well enough. However even had a horse fallen he would have had them back up and moving in under five minutes.

Of course the majority of offers he had received had been denied unless they came to him. He was retired so the idea of his expertise being called upon was ridiculous. At least to him. Of course there were cases that needed his attention to save a life. A failing liver, a weak heart. All things he was exceptional at fixing. An Implant though? When the ambassador for the clan had arrived for tea at his train car it had been laughable. He had been fully prepared to deny the whole request and send the poor man off when they got a little frosty with him over his attitude. They hadn't attacked him but their tea had frozen over. Now he knew the clan he was being requested by. They had been rather secretive before about the whole project. Now he new why. The clan of the ice witch was doing some more experimenting on one of their members. An implant that they needed his expertise for. Certainly not another byakugan. They had one as a clan member. Not many other dojutsu existed so he figured it was one of the others. Curiosity and the urge to gain favor with them was something he could grasp

Gaining favor with that clan was something everyone in the world was looking to do. The claim of the strongest woman alive, arguably the strongest being alive was the head of that clan and currently the mizukage. It was rumored no one could touch her and she had progressed unto a deity. Immortalized as she may be by her deeds she was far from that. Not that he wished to shatter the illusion the people had of their hero. He had sparred her before and found her to be near impossible to contend with. Should he have to battle her to the death he was sure that his own life would end there. At best he could take her with him but there would be no coming back from that. Thus the need to gain favor from the clan and that woman. So he had packed up and rented passage there. Choosing to go as he wished after the ambassador left. He didn't want to talk politics or projects for an entire trip so he had chosen to travel with just a single driver. Still it had been a long trip and he was rather tired.

Up until they had reached the dune before the compound below he had slept in his seat as he attempted to gain some rest. Choosing to be well rested well before arriving as he would be conducting surgery. His driver had woken him shortly before arrival and now he was looking through the glass pane to the scene below. Kiri wasn't pulling its punches but they certainly wished to keep this particular project in the dark. No escorts for him besides the ambassadors or welcoming committee. Just the forces massed and shifting below. Just enough to take him down he thought as he smirked. He would open the door to his carriage and step out as the heat would wash over him. Feeling the discomfort he would expand his chakra out. A faint golden glow that made the ambient temperature around him comfortable enough to stand in without sweating. A little bit of suiton molding here and there. Still he would stand there in a pair of black dress boots with black slacks tucked into them. A leather belt held his two knives crossed on the small of his back. A white button up shirt was all he was wearing for a top with the top three buttons undone. Purple sunglasses sat on the bridge of his nose and a white fidora sat on his head. He would look to the driver before nodding.

"Your job is done. Feel free to head down without me. Stick around though, I will be heading back to Konoha tomorrow morning. It would be exhausting to keep this temperature back all day every day."

The driver would simply nod and Tsuyo would watch him prepare to drive off. Snagging his famous coat out of the back and closing the door just before the man was off. He would sling it over his shoulder and hum to himself as suddenly his appearance seemed to peel away until there was just a wisp of smoke and he was gone. Like a ghost faded away. With all five senses shut down from seeing him he would jump and make his way into the camp. He couldn't feel that womans overwhelming power so the chances someone else could detect him was unlikely. Still he would keep up the genjutsu all the way to the laboratory. Made obvious by the medical professionals on stand by everywhere. Casually he would walk right through the front door and look around until he found the empty surgery room. With that he would walk inside and drop the genjutsu. With his free hand he would pick up some documents and begin studying them. Looking to see if there was anything that could be learned.

Apparently the surgeon was rumored to have arrived. He must have scared a few nurses to death when he suddenly appeared in the surgery room. Verdandi had no idea if he was a good guy or a bad guy or anything in between. She had to trust into her father's knowledge about politics and alike. Deacon, being Ayakashi's brother must have had some intimate knowledge about Aya's relationship with Tsuyo. But seemingly it wasn't a very good one. Something about broken trust? Verd was shaking her head. She was not aware of many things that her aunt and kage had done in the past in her whims to protect her country. Aya too was certainly not without mistakes. Seeing this man somehow gave Verdandi an emotional feeling of staring straight at one of these mistakes. She could however be mistaken. Maybe he was auntie's best friend. But Deacon mentioned that he had hired this individual, at quite the costs, because he was the best surgeon in all known lands. There might be one or two competitors at best but this title was something Deacon, an experienced medic on his own, wouldn't throw around for funsies. Best or not, the trust in this mans skills to perform this surgery in an absolute flawless fashion was already putting Verdandi back at ease a little. He did seem capable indeed.

That being said. Tsuyo would be found snooping around in the medical tent in question. He was allowed to inspect the items and medical tools all well prepared by Deacon. Verdandi's father had assisted in many operations and done surgery for years. He however had never helped anyone replace an eye, supposedly something not possible without precision, perception and reaction at an incredibly perfected level, as well as a very specific chakra flow that would allow the nerves to properly re-attach themselves and accept the foreign organ as part of their own body and genetics. On top of that, a Dojutsu was something that naturally had properties towards a user's eyesight that did not conform with standard eyesight. Hence the users brain would be put under a tremendous strain to cope with the completely new set of nerve inputs that were foreign to their previous sight. It was often compared to giving eyesight to a completely blind person. In this case not as extreme but the perception and sight of a sharingan was something far beyond normal human's comprehension. Its ability to sense chakra in living beings and alike was something magical that certainly would require a lot of training and getting used-to. However, the skill of the Medical Nin in question would highly impact the ease upon which Verdandi would be allowed to gaze through those eyes into the world. If he was to concentrate a large amount of healing chakra onto Verdandi's eye when she'd first open her new oculus, it could certainly ease her ability to see with it.

Tsuyo was offered a myriad of non-alcoholic drinks. To hydrate himself. He and Deacon would discuss the whole procedure one more time as various nurses started to fill the room. Being pulled to a little side-room as obviously the patient was about to enter and needed some privacy for a short moment. Tsuyo would not rarely be confronted that this wasn't just a normal Kiri-Clan's request. Deacon being already of high birth with his relation to the Solstice family. Was married to Motoko Dao, the current Feudal Lord of what could be called the reincarnation of Yuki no Kuni. Despite the not mentionable size of their village, the Dao family would still count as one of the most influential and richest in their kind. The amount of personal available to cater to the princess and her celebrity doctor was but a small reminder that there was Ryo in play here that certainly overshadowed any normal human's capabilities. After a certain time. Verdandi moved from her private room into the next. Her meditation was complete. Her mind was clear. Her worries were suppressed. Her chakra flow was in regulation. Calm mind and body. Her Yuki chakra slowly cooling down her body to a bearable temperature. Then further to slowly put herself into an almost stasis like situation. It'd be upon Tsuyo to decide if she'd have to completely freeze herself for a few minutes. For now, cooling herself down to preserve her body functions was the primary and easiest thing to do for the princess.

Verdandi would lift her arms. The nurses removed any clothing from her cold body. Her skin would be disinfected and a female med-nin from Deacon staff would move her palms, hovering them over Verdandi's nude body to close even the tiniest potential wounds on her skin to make sure not the slightest risk of infection was available. Her long hair would be curled into a bun and then locked shut below a plastic cap. After her cool skin was properly disinfected, Verdandi would receive a simple patient's robe to cover her nudity. The nurses leading the princess to the operations table. Verdandi would lie down and place her head neatly onto the surgery device, this kind of chair was specifically designed and built for operations at the head. One of Deacon's own inventions. Funded by Dao and Yuki Clan money. Verdandi's normal eye would be covered by a patch. Her almost blind eye would receive moisture from hydration droplets. Before they would clean the eyelids and even the room between eyelid and eyeball. The support nurses would leave the room one by one. Too many people would only disturb the doctor during his job. Meanwhile Tsyuo's talk with Deacon would be over, they would ask the two doctors to get ready and enter the surgery room with their own specific clothing. The head nurse and Deacon would act as his assistants if needed. Verdandi was already half-dozing off by the time Tsuyo was ready. Her meditation and cool temperature control putting her into an almost stasis-like state.

Tsuyo had only begun to peruse the notes. Studies on dojutsu implants on non clan members. How temperatures might affect a foreign eye and so on. They certainly were doing their research today. Back a few years ago surgery was a simple thing. One knew the goal and how to achieve it. Still their research was mostly on point. A couple points could be touched up on but for the most part it was flawless. They were not docile minds this lot. Still they seemed to rely more on their research and access to resources than on actual experience. Oh well, that simply meant someone like him was being paid. Which suited him in the long run anyway. Money and influence shifted through his day to day less these days than they had in days long passed. He had plenty of connections and could still call in a favor here and there but adding to that list could be done easily. At least in the current depths of the worlds depravity he could only grow. Still this particular clan thought themselves at the height of all society. The one percent if you will. Control in government and industry as well as education. They held a hand over the throat of those around them whether they realized it or not. They had gained so much potential power that one might actually view them as a prominent threat. If they feared the world government that is. He would be amused to see what that world would send at him for an offense. He was fairly confident it would merely turn out to be entertainment.

Still the sound of foot steps coming down the hall behind him was ignored for the most part. There was permission if not requests for him to be here. Sure they might not immediately identify him but he could deal with any rash decisions made by a guard or two. He would lean back against the counter and flip the page to the file when suddenly two nurses rounded the corner expecting an empty room. TO their surprise a strange man was standing there. There was a startled scream as their tray clattered. Tsuyo would lift up a finger as if suggesting they wait a moment as his eyes didn't lift from the page. The two nurses however did not take this calm demeanor as reassuring and took off running down the hall calling for help. With that Tsuyo would sigh as he closed the notes and placed them back on the desk. So much research and time and he wouldn't be using any of it. What a pity. Had they come to him originally it would have saved considerable time and resources. Perhaps even as a paid consultant. Really it was such a bother. Still he would cross his arms and lean back a moment before some rapid foot prints could be heard slamming down the hall. Good response time at least. Two shinobi in heavy armor would fill the doorway before entering one at a time. Each holding the handles to their weapons. Behind them a smaller man in a lab coat would enter. Greeting Tsuyo. By name at that.

The man explained that it was under his suggestion that Tsuyo was hired. That he had studied a few of Tsuyo's printed lessons on surgery and the human anatomy. That some of his teachings were the basics in medical schools even in Kiri now. Tsuyo would absorb the flattery with a smile and a grain of salt. Of course the man recognized him from the speech he gave after ayakashi before their Spar with Kumo. At best it could be called that. Still he would note that Tsuyo had already looked over the documents before asking if Tsuyo had any questions. Tsuyo would shake his head and lift a hand to indicate the surgery would take an hour at most and as with most of his recent work would bind flawlessly. The man expressed his doubts but still Tsuyo would shrug them off. Put simply he wished to work alone and would not require a support team. Some of them acted shocked and others doubtful but in the end it was his choice. He would be allowed the right to dictate the terms of the surgery. There was a feeling of resignation and doubt. All of this would just make Tsuyo smile as he would put faith in their hearts. He would show them that his fame was not legend but a matter of record. With that he would step forward as he was led by the two guards and the man down the hall to the patients room where she was already prepared.

He would step in and see her already pushing herself into a slumber with her chakra. He would sigh at the cold temperature of the room. Numb fingers were not agile and accurate fingers. If it was enough to push her into a small coma it was enough to chill his hands. Still he would look at the eye they had already moistened and the eye prepped for her before tapping the skin around the eye. Freezing cold. Like touching ice directly. He would find that to be its own difficulty. Still he could negate it with a small amount of chakra of his own. Forcing his will over hers as needed would be a slight annoyance but one he could handle. He would step to the side and look over all the tools available before nodding. Speaking to the room as he addressed the clan.

"You hired me, to place a sharingan within one of your clan members. This by itself will be its own task. Worry not though as I am familiar with this work. Do not think though that it is medically possible to bypass the drain it will put on her chakra system. Nor will putting this within her stop its degradation that happens with the sharingan the more its used at high levels. This will be difficult for her. Should you wish me to proceed still, we will begin."

And wishing for him to proceed, they did. Their research was quite on spot. It had been a few years since someone last attempted to do this. But other transplants with different eyes had been done as well and most of them, at least the ones in a controlled environment, were successfully done with. The strain he was talking about, was something they already warned Verdandi about. Reports of heavy chakra usage. The fact that she probably would not be able to keep her eye open all the time. The strain it could put on your body. But the research of the team had gone further. A three tomoe sharingan had yet no access to the techniques that could make your eye bleed or cause massive pain to the user. Whilst the researchers would have preferred it to see a Mangekyou Sharingan, Verd's father was obviously put at ease by the fact that she wouldn't have to carry that kind of burden. But having obtained this item and gained access to it. The lot of them was already contemplating and wondering how they could either obtain an eye of higher power or find a way to upgrade the current one. But the lot of them were leaving the room. The nurses would return to Verdandi's rest room and shut the door behind them. The guards would nod to Deacon and leave the entrance. The room would once again feel a few surges of air as it sterilized itself once more. Deacon alone would get to watch the skills of Tsuyo in action.

Needless to say, he as a doctor, was intently excited at the prospect of seeing a Master at work. Verd could feel Tsuyo's displeasure over the cold and raised her body temperature back up a little. A perfect unity of her skills with frost allowed her to pin point an area of her body to be free from her frost. She made sure that the least amount of Hyouton chakra was present near her eye as the doctor began his work. She however also fully placed herself into a coma. Not really wanting to feel the nasty parts of the operation. Being a bit of a scaredy cat about that kind of pain. Verd closed her remaining eye and fell into a self-induced slumber. The sole reminder of existence being the mumbling noises of Deacon and Tsuyo as the doctor proceeded with his work. Surprisingly for Deacon, he expected the lot of this process taking many many hours of time. But it did not. He wasn't sure if it was due to the intense skill that Tsuyo showed in the process but after a lengthy preparation and some medical chakra being used. The removal of the eye, the careful disconnection of the nerves, the re-attachment of such and the healing process of the nerves followed by the insertion of the eye was a nasty process but a quick one. Deacon was absolutely fascinated by Tsuyo's work and watched the process with great interest.

Once the re-attachment was complete and life as well as chakra returned to the eye. It would instantly come to life. Verdandi was basically forced to wake from her slumber. She had successfully managed to keep herself unconscious for the operation but now her eyes were wide open. Her heart rate was raising, her lungs would gasp for air and she was inhaling quickly and helplessly for a moment. A soft scream would echo from her lips as the first surge of the Sharingan tapped past the nerves into her body. After an initial surprise she exhaled lowly and accepted the newfound tap on her pool. Able to regulate its greedy pull on her reserves and she could finally concentrate on actually seeing with it. Tsuyo was still activating a myriad of medical chakra that glowed against her. But eventually he would stop and a last drop of clear eye liquid would slowly clear the iris from its foggy shadow. Verdandi's breath was stabilizing at last and she slowly closed her normal eye to realize that she was really seeing through the new one. The casual sight past the new oculus was pretty clean and perfectly clear. It seemed however to favour intense detail in the area she was concentrating about over seeing a large spectrum of things at once. Verd would soon look at Tsyuo and her father and see the chakra glowing within them. The pulsating colours a beautiful sight. Not disturbing the actual real vision towards them.

Verdandi had expected that this new eye could only see those weird chakra clouds. But it was far more complex than that. Her perception was multiple times sharper with this eye and she seemed able to ignore the chakra glow even. Only when she concentrated on it, the flowing nature of the people and their energy would surface. Showing her also that many things around her had a chakra to them. She could see even glowing surges of energy past the walls of many buildings. Making her suddenly aware of the many people in the camp and around here. She never had the ability to see through walls before. It seemed like some sort of naughty spy ability now that she was thinking of it. Despite only being able to see chakra outlines. It still gave her a clear picture of what those people were doing or moving towards. Even the nurse and the doctor five tents away that were holding each other tight before kissing was something she could see. Eventually, the surge was exhausting her. Verdandi closed her eyes. Returned to her soft breathing and soon fell back into a slumber. She would have to adjust to her new body part. Many days and weeks of training were now ahead of her. But to change from blind eye to an all seeing one was certainly something only dreams were usually made of. Deacon thanked Tsuyo for his work. Handing him the commission fee and a multitude of gifts sealed in a small box. He was welcome to stay but also free to leave now at any moment given.

The group of scientists, nurses and doctors would agree to have him proceed without hesitation. They knew the risks and were not afraid of the conditions they were about to endure. That she was about to endure. He would glance down as the staff exited the room per his request to study the eye once more. Only to see the ice melting away around the eye. So some part of her was conscious. That would likely turn out to be unfortunate for her if she could sense any of it. Having ones eye worked on was unpleasant in most cases. Disorienting and even to the point of making one sick. He would tap on the lid lightly as they exited. The physical response was normal for one under anesthesia. Good buoyancy. All in all he was satisfied. His silver eyes would glance up as the only ones who remained were himself, the girl and the man who had hired him. He supposed if he was paying for the whole ordeal he would be able to stay just fine. Still Tsuyo would adjust his sleeves back and move over to the sink to wash up. Scrubbing his hands and upper arms thoroughly. Even going so far as to purge the water off himself with chakra. One moment his arms were soaked and then water lifted off them and fell away into the sink. His control over suiton did him some good while he was working on things like eye implants. As they would soon see.

Still he would pause as he turned to study her. For the moment she seemed to be in a trance. He would hope it would hold against the pain she would feel if it didn't. Still he would move over to the custom table and shift the head grips closed and tight. With that done he would take the eye lids and tape them open. Discomforting enough. The next step however topped that. There was a square tool with four prongs. Each prong would slide along the outside of the eye ball and then crank open to force the socket to spread slightly. Letting the eye ball simply sit in the cavity. Now he had access to it. Removing the original eye would be easy. Still he would pause to put on a pair of glasses. Only on the right side there was multiple lenses for different levels of magnification. Two out of three of these he would flip down before setting back to work. He would hum to himself as he activated chakra scalpels. Removing the eye by force would be easy but he preferred to keep it intact. Less clean up to deal with afterwards. With that he would slide a finger along the underside of the eye in question. A thin stream of chakra cleanly slicing all the connections in one go. A skillfull cut but avoiding causing any damage at the same time. With that he forced the eye up with a pulse of chakra and collected it with his free hand.

With that finished he would have the uncle bring him the other eye. He would wait until it arrived to scan over it at two times magnification for impurities. Finding it had been stored sufficiently he would turn and move back to the patient. A wave of his hand over the socket would lift the blood out of it and splash it to the side. Cleaning the socket. The rest of the blood would seem to be held back by some unseen force though his arms were glowing gold. His right eye would shift into an activated Byakugan then. Veins pulsing as he eyed her chakra point with that eye while eyeing the veins and connections with his normal eye. With the visions combined he would move the eye into the socket and set about making the connections. First connection all the flesh with a golden ball of energy slowly hovering bit by bit so as not to get anything cross wired. Then he would connect the chakra channel to the eye. Forcing a bit of her chakra through it in order to establish the connection. No rejection was observed. So he continued by further mending the damaged tissue. Hovering his hand over it for some time until the flesh wasn't even sensitive anymore. With that done he would clean around the eye and remove the tape. Washing his hands as he waited for her to wake up. A ten minute procedure for him and preformed to their expectations he expected. Still even as she woke up he would wait quietly in the corner. Cleaning his glasses as she experimented with it. If she looked at him though he would stand apart. His chakra was like a pillar of pure gold. Purified chakra to the highest level.

Deacon had made his observations. He was no stranger to the magnifying glasses but certainly had no experience with the Byakugan. Having made his notes he still had to agree that the level of control and concentration was yet something to be mastered by him. Nothing he could obtain as a skill just by watching this happen. But he certainly was glad that he had called for Tsuyo for this. The professional way he worked through this transplant left him with little worries as to the results or his daughter's life to be in any danger. After her placed the check with the fee in Tsuyo's reach, Deacon would make a short goodbye in form of another mention of appreciation for his hard work, as well as another deep bow as it was common within the royal court. Their time to chit chat about medical stuff would be another one. After all, doctors knew each other, didn't they?

Verdandi was still recovering from the after effects of the unique anaesthesia. Being able to directly influence it with the body cooling method, it cam easier to herself as she was able to simply stop the Hyouton chakra from influencing her body, allowing heat to invade her skin and warm her up quickly. Yuki Clan usually preferred a lower body temperature. But Verdandi was known to be a bit of an oddball in the family. Feeling no specific pain from her eye, which she obviously expected to feel beforehand, Verd would whip her feet back and forth in tandem while her head turned, at some point she would look straight through Tsuyo as she was concentrating on something behind him, until her eye adjusted and the golden glare of his chakra pool turned to be an almost blindingly aching realization. Verd jumped off the operation table. Something neither nurses nor Deacon would have liked to see. "You have to get some rest Verdandi…" she could already hear it in her head.

But Verd had been almost blind for years now. Her eye had gotten worse and worse over time and at last, when they already had considered a normal transplant, she was given an oculus that allowed her to see things beyond human comprehension. After a few gentle stumbles, her new senses still adjusting to her being able to walk straight. Verd made her way to Tsuyo. The young princess still in her patient robes. The thin clean fabrics covering her otherwise still overly disinfected nude skin. She was itching to get a shower and slip into something more comfortable. She grabbed on a blanket and wrapped it around her body while she was still re-heating up again. Placing her butt on a chair that she specifically placed in front of Tsuyo. Once she sat down he could see the sharingan rotating while it was actively tapping on Verdandi's chakra pool.

"Hmm you glow like a sun, old man. Certainly, different from any doctor I've met so far. But maybe its just this eye playing tricks on me? Daddy seemed quite impressed. But you have one of these things too don't you?"

Verdandi referred to Tsuyo's Byakugan. She could still see the remains of chakra that his eye expelled from previous usage. Verd wondered what it was like. Was it the same as her Sharingan? She had heard of it, but was yet too young to really deeply understand the differences. She had already been put through a multitude of books about Uchiha and the Sharingan by her sister Urd. Probably learning about other Dojutsu wasn't a bad idea. She was intrigued by Tsuyo's mystic aura.

Verdandi's endurance and strength despite her just recent operation was a remarkable feat. However her mind was still a bit dizzy. Making the lack of proper manners a bit more existent. But Tsuyo didn't seem to mind all too much... for now.

Tsuyo would watch calmly as she seemed to be absorbed with looking around herself. He would lean back against the counter nearby and cross his arms. He hadn't bothered counting the payment nor looking into the gift box as of yet. Treasures that would still be there in a few moments. Instead his focus was on his patient. She seemed absorbed into her eye as she stared around herself. Much like a newborn getting the ability to really see would look around themselves. He could understand the sensation. When he had first unlocked the Byakugan it had been a revealing transformation of the world to him. Of course his vision was more refined than hers. He could actually see the detailed chakra paths while she could only see the chakra. Still it was understandable. His silver eyes would watch her as his right eye twitched and held back a sudden flare of cold steam. Reacting to its own blood no doubt. Still she seemed to be binding well. If she wasn't she would be screaming on the floor by now. The eye trying to feed on its host If she had been weak that would have been the case. Instead she spoke clearly to him.

"Hmm you glow like a sun, old man. Certainly, different from any doctor I've met so far. But maybe its just this eye playing tricks on me? Daddy seemed quite impressed. But you have one of these things too don't you?"

He would smile at that. Such brash behavior. Calling him old man when he had just granted her a power they asked for. How amusing. Still she could see his chakra and how he had purified it through practice. Talented though the strain would cause exhaustion and pain soon. It was too early to us it so heavily. However he would simply raise his right hand to tap above his left eye. Acknowledging it in his own way. Ahh how long it had been since he first discovered it. Still he would speak to her in return to her question. His voice was like silk to the ears. Somehow mesmerizing and comforting. Luring anyone who heard it into a sense of ease and sleep. Gradual but still clearly holding an effect. His chakra pulsing out and seeming to mist around her. A common feel passively infecting her and yet it would feel good. Slipping around her and her defenses just to ease her emotions.

"I do indeed. Born with mine though. Well not this one but all the same I am a hyuga. Chakra control is a focus of ours. Once one reaches my level their chakra purifies as mine has. A single bit of it enough to save or end a life. Only we can choose. I would advise however that you take it easy. Practice no more than five minutes a day for the first month. Otherwise you may strain the eyes and start damaging you vision. After a month however you should be fine to use it as much as you see fit."

Verdandi glared at the shiny man before her. His calm body. His resting muscles. While Verdandi's left foot already whipped again in her utter impatience. His body didn't seem to move except when he breathed or actually wished to gesture and emphasize his speech. His voice was like a soft lullaby to Verdandi's ears. Her eyes fluttered. He cheek would sink against her open left palm to support her head that would feel heavier by the minute. The chakra strain was there but manageable for now. She'd have to train a lot to refine its perfect usage. But it seemed to come naturally to her already which certainly was a good thing. Despite her sleepy body she'd smile brightly.

Verdandi nodded to her doctor. "Yes uncle…" she'd add in another, cheeky and playful way "…thank you". They would exchange another few chit chat pleasantries. Verdandi could still hear his advices but the more he'd talk the more his voice would lull her to close her heavy eyes. Especially the new one. Verdandi's aligned elements however would welcome the new oculus within the ice princess. A little suiton to flush a cleaning wave of tears past her eye, a little frost to cool down the heat it emitted. Verdandi's body was pretty self sufficient and had a natural instinct to keep her working like a well-oiled machine. Not before long. The princess would fall asleep in the comfy chair in front of Tsyuo.

For a long time, she'd rest. Sleep as deep like the polar bear that she called her pet. She would have enjoyed to listen to more of his stories about old. Maybe those that connected him with Verdandi's auntie? Or how he got famous in Kiri's hospitals. Or what he had seen on his travels into the world. So many questions. So many words she'd like to hear. But the noises in her head grew slower, fuzzier until at last Tsuyo could hear her breathing in the way one did when entering Dreamland. Would she see something new now that she had a complete new experience to 'seeing' in the first place? Verdandi probably wouldn't remember later. But it would be a calm, warm and pleasant dream for sure.

Tsuyo would listen as she finally thanked him before his luring words would do their job. Luring her into a sense of peace and rest. It was a simple thing really. If someone already felt safe base hypnotism combined with a chakra strain was bound to provide openings. He would however brush off being called uncle. He was too used to people giving him some family resemblance or another. Brother, uncle, it continued on enough. Father in a couple cases... Still he would listen as she slumbered. Nothing seemed to be off about her breathing. The eye likely wasn't straining her at all if she could sleep soundly. With that done he would take a deep breath and gather his payment as well as these gifts they treasured. He would head out the door quietly and find his way to the helping staff. Once there he would ask for a room for his driver and a suite for himself. Along with his horses being attended to and his cart undergoing some maintenance. He was tired and it was hot. Their compound wasn't advanced enough to have the luxuries he was used to though. More of a camp. Still they found him the best unclaimed room for guests they could. Something at least designed for their more royal visitors should they come. Probably to attempt to lay claim to some land or another. Still they said it would be taken care of so he found his resting spot. He would seal the door with a chair under the handles and make sure any windows were locked before finally letting himself sleep. Even then it would be a half slumber. This place was foreign and at war. He couldn't fully sleep knowing that it could come to his door rapidly. Men and their greed.
