Dream

Nothing, that was the only word Aisu needed to describe the world she currently found herself standing in, an infinite  white canvas of space that seemed to stretch out for mile's, the only sounds that were audible to her ears was the slightly elevating noise of her own breathing as she begun to panic while twisting her neck to look in all directions only to be meant with the fear that she was alone, nobody was with her.  As that realization kicked in Aisu's feet begun walk cautiously, which turned into a light walk, that became speed walking, to the point she now found herself breathing quite a bit harder as she ran searching for something, anything within the infinite white space.

She kept running and running, her lungs were beginning to hurt but she didn't care as the pain coursing through her chest had no comparison to the increasing feeling of loneliness she felt, finally after what seemed like an eternity in this infinite and empty white void she saw two blurred out figure's, maybe if she had been in her right mind she would have known not to venture closer but right now those senses were in death's toil as all she wanted at the moment was to find a semblance of peace even at the cost of it being fake to give her fragile mind a bit of comfort. Despite her lungs still coursing with a pain she desperately tried to run faster towards the blurred out figures but she wasn't getting any closer, the more she ran the further they seemed to stretch out of her reach which in turn made her even more desperate to reach out, while in her own desperation her feet that had been running had a muscle twitch while in mid-run causing her to trip and fall to the ground, the figures kept going further and further away and Aisu reached out a desperate hand but suddenly they were gone.

End of Dream

Aisu flinched hard as she woke up from her dream frightfully startled by being lifted by a huge bump in the road while in the back of a caravan that was passing close by the Sungakure border, the owner of the cart was nice enough to let Aisu catch a ride but it was apparent by the increasing particles of sand on the ground she would soon have to get off, Aisu knowing that the dangers of the desert heat were nothing to scoff at, so she went to the back of the caravan and begun to check her bag where her supplies of eighteen water bottle's and two loafs of bread were located, if she only eat when she was hungry and drunk if she was thirty the provisions would last her two weeks or so but either way it would be best for her to just be extra cautious with her supplies.

As the caravan kept its route the amount on the sand seemed to increase even more to the point that the cart was no longer on solid ground and started to move a bit slower due to the composition of the sand underneath, it was at this time the caravan driver flipped open the thin sheet that was separating them this whole time and spoke up, "Alright kiddo, this is as far as I can take you, you're on your own from here." Aisu slowly glanced at him and gave a smile as she stood up to leave, "Thanks for your help, I wish you and your family all the blessings the world could give."

Aisu leaped out of the cart and turned around to wave the friendly caravan owner goodbye, the moment he could no longer see her she turned towards where the little trees became fewer letting that be her guide, she took a deep breath to mentally prepare herself and then breathed out a few seconds later, she then looked at the path in front of her with stern eyes and began to move forward wherever it may take her.

Lately, Izumi had been recruiting wayward genin and chunin for her cause. Any who had been willing to listen to and believe her mad tales of Sunagakure's return were welcome. It was true, the sand was rising again Izumi and her lover were the driving force while the hand that tipped the wheel belonged to Yosei. She was getting more and more aggressive in her recruiting. Today she woke early this was no strange happenstance in fact it was quite routine for the Karisuma to wake at the same time as the sun. Today Izumi decided to use a tactic that usually had great success. Izumi couldn't purchase supplies with her wealth but she could use it to put stars in the eyes of poor refugess that held some amount of talent in the ninja arts. Plus she got to make herself look all pretty. With the foreign villages having largely abandoned operations in the Land of Wind Izumi was able to be herself again. No one in her homeland saw her as a criminal and so she often dressed in showy ways like she used to in the Mist Village. Today she wore a white kimono with a golden pheasant in flight depicted on its back and trimmed in black silk. Izumi spent little time applying makeup anywhere put her eyes always putting in the effort to draw attention to their stunning beauty. Izumi's hair was done up in a painstakingly meticulous fashion ensuring her blonde hair was displayed but not covering her face. Izumi's money was always good in the Land of Wind, her face becoming somewhat celebrity among her own citizens if everything ended as it should Nova would be the Kazekage so winning the people was paramount.

Izumi set out in an ornate sled with a cabin designed to be pulled by a team of two camels, it was shady and cool inside with a device that misted the cabin designed by Nova specifically for their rides in this ostentatious travel method. The silk drawings that separated her from the desert held the eye of Karisuma on its exterior announcing to the world who was within. Izumi lived two lives, one as the shining example of a high born woman from the land of Wind, the other as Zhi the personal assassin for Yosei the man who barely months ago had severed the arm of the Mizukage, Ayakashi. Izumi would travel along the border with her sensory jutsu active, feeling out for refugees with higher than normal chakra reserves. The average person was easily discernible from shinobi by Izumi she could sense chakra signatures and the elements that comprised them. Today was surprisingly bare of prospects and Izumi was on her third glass of wine by now. She was barely paying attention to her supernatural senses at this point having mostly accepted today as nothing more than excuse to look pretty and have her makeup done. Normally Izumi's consumption would have someone quite intoxicated but Izumi's lifestyle had led to a very high tolerance for intoxicants. Being a kunoichi had its perks, she could drink all day if she'd wanted.

Just as Izumi was going to signal her driver she perked up in her seat and instead told him to make a course for where a nearby caravan had stopped to the west. The driver never questioned her impeccable knowledge of their surroundings he'd known her long enough to not even blink at her extrasensory abilities. Izumi had finally sensed what seemed to be someone at least somewhat trained as a ninja. As the sled pulled up slowly, gliding across the sands she came to a stop in front of the pretty girl with white. When Izumi saw her red eyes something told the woman that this was who she'd looked for all day and it was worth it. Drawing the hangings to the side Izumi would smile and beckon the child aboard. “Looks like it's your lucky day young lady. You are invited to join Lady Karisuma for a voyage across the sands, it's much better than the heat I promise. Do make your choice quickly though, I'd hate for the cold to get out.” Izumi's smile beamed as she regarded at the young lady with a friendly look in her eyes she held out offered her left hand to help the young lady into the cabin after she undoubtedly accepted. Once the young lady entered Izumi would introduce herself by her full name and offer her new guest some lemonade before sitting back legs crossed leaned forward waiting for her new guest's reply.

Aisu began to make her walk towards the endless stretch of the desert plains in the hope she would find something she was looking for, if she had to reason with herself about this situation this was quite the illogical plan, she didn't know anyone where she was trying to go nor did she have any idea on how to actually get to this village known as a Sunagakure. Furthermore what exactly did she hope to find any way in a sea of infinite sand?

Although she was beginning to feel rather apprehensive about this journey she chose for herself it was just something about this land she couldn't shake, if she had to describe the feeling from within herself it was like looking at an empty canvas and being able to see an inkling of what you want to draw but couldn't grasp on tight enough to the image to be able to do it. Aisu stopped for a moment, she didn't realize it until just know but she wasn't sweating, here she was being pounded down by pure sun rays and the intense desert heat but she wasn't sweating? How bizarre Aisu thought to herself as she wiped her forehead only to find little to no sweat dripping along it, Aisu recalled reading a book in her old home in Iwagakure that if you are born in a certain climate the body will grow to adapt to it but then if you move to a whole different climate your body will go through a rough spot as it already had to adjust to the previous location, could it be that Aisu intuition was right and she had indeed been in this dessert before.

As Aisu tried to recollect any memory of her walking across a desert nothing seemed to come to mind, she let out a light sigh as the subject at hand always managed to frustrate her to some degree because she just couldn't remember anything from beyond the last two years of her life, the only thing she was sure of was the fact Iwagakure wasn't her actual home because during the time she lived there the villagers and the shinobi alike seemed to treat her more like a stranger than, someone, they know their whole life, that combined with her first memory of being sold in what she knew now as a slave auction created a realistic picture that she was born nowhere near the Land of Earth.

Wanting to escape the realization of her situation and perhaps just because she wanted to walk in silence Aisu kept her feet moving while she formed the twelve handseals continuously to memorize them in her head so she could perform them in rapid pace when the time came for it, she spent nearly fourteen minutes doing that exercise before her ears were meant with the sound of something approaching her, when she looked up what she saw was a caravan coming her way, she didn't know why but she found her gaze affixed to it as if she was in a trance, wait...a caravan...thats right....Aisu was beginning to remember the first place she was in when she lost her memory was a caravan in...in the desert! However the excitement of her remembering a part of her memory was short lived as when the caravan got closer it wasn't a caravan at all, it was an ornate sled that was driven by two camels that seemed to have a cabin built into its center, rationally Aisu thought she should run for her life as an ornate sled just pulled up on her in the middle of the desert and she didn't call for such a service, but yet she remained still unable to move as her gaze was still affixed to it.

After a few moments, the door to the cabin would open revealing a woman who seemed to be some type of noble blood to Aisu as she was wearing a refined white kimono in which Aisu only saw those higher up in Iwagakure social branch wear but Aisu's thought would be broken when the women began to get her attention by beckoning her to come to her, “Looks like it's your lucky day young lady. You are invited to join Lady Karisuma for a voyage across the sands, it's much better than the heat I promise. Do make your choice quickly though, I'd hate for the cold to get out.”  The women would say with a smile beamed directly at her while she held out and offered her left hand for Aisu to take to get into the cabin, Aisu honestly wasn't sure who she was or how she knew Aisu would be here, but it was clear that she had to come from somewhere in the desert wearing such clothing and her method of transportation, and from how she talked it made it seem like her name was quite well known in the area. Aisu honestly wasn't sure on the idea but regardless she took Lady Karisuma's hand for the purpose of hopefully being lead to where she wanted to go, Sunagakure.

Now that she was inside the cabin of the ornate sled it was quite a bit cooler and she was all the more thankful for it as although the heat hadn't bothered her at first it got to her in the end eventually, but before her thoughts could wane any further away the women begun to introduce herself as Izumi Karisuma and then offered her a drink of lemonade, Aisu simply said "Nice to meet you, and I will be happy to accept your lemonade err..Ms.Izumi?" she would say that last bit confused on if she should still call her Lady Karisuma or not, once she handed it Aisu took a sip while Ms.Izumi crossed her legs and leaned forward, Aisu paused for a few moments in confusion and then eventually realized she was also waiting for an introduction, Aisu put her drink down in the middle of her legs as she spoke, "My name is Aisu, I...don't know my full name, in matter a fact I don't remember anything at all besides the last two years of my life.." She would say with a hint of sadness in her voice as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear, "The only reason I'm out here is to find a village that I been told supposedly doesn't exist anymore, but there have also been rumors that it has been hidden somewhere, the village of Sungakure.."  Aisu would finish taking a sip of her drink

The young woman was pretty, Izumi hadn’t ever seen someone who looked quite like her but there was something familiar about her, something the older woman couldn’t put her finger on. She was polite enough and had accepted the refreshments, Izumi returned to her wine as she regarded the nervous young woman. She set down her drink and looked at Izumi to introduce herself as Aisu, and only Aisu it was a strange name to be sure, more so because of her large chakra reserve Why didn’t this young lady have a clan? Stranger still, she claimed not to remember the last few years of her life. Izumi could think of no reason other than injury or forceful tampering. Maybe this young lady knew something she shouldn’t. Izumi’s intrigue was rising as rapidly as the wine in her glass was being downed. Izumi loved learning secrets, especially ones people go to such lengths to forget. Izumi was in a different position than she’d ever thought she’d attain in her youth. She regretted little and her ambition was only increasing with each soldier she added to the fold. Many had died at Inabayama Rock and many more would die in the war she’d helped start now was not the time to be idle but the allure of this young lady was undeniable. Izumi thought she might even personally see to this one should she prove interesting enough.

The young lady made it easier than Izumi could have hoped, directly stating that it was the Sand Village that she looked for. Izumi’s eyes narrowed momentarily at the mentions of rumors, barely fighting back her temper in an effort to maintain her character. It seems some didn’t take a vow of secrecy as seriously as they should. The leaks would be plugged though, Izumi would find them soon enough and reeducate the tongues that they dripped from. Izumi sat back in the cushioned seats of the lavish vehicle. Bringing her lips to finish the sixth glass of wine Izumi would set the crystal vessel on the table before, looking to Aisu with a smile and a kind a look “You’re in luck then. I’m the next Kazekage’s girlfriend. So… Aisu? You really only have one name? No memories at all before two years. Not even things you think might be fake but can’t really tell?” Izumi was familiar with many methods of memory manipulation. Taught to her by her mentor Izumi had learned to seal concepts and ideas to prevent people from telling things they shouldn’t. Perhaps she should make it the standard rather than the exception with the recent news. The happy kind heiress act she pulled was more of a mask than the actual one she wore as Zhi. Izumi was often times cold hearted and calculating. It came more naturally to her than the kind conversation she shared with Aisu. It wasn’t that the conversation was dull more that it felt forced to her, if the information began flowing her enthusiasm would come naturally.

All power came with a price, hers just happened to be laid out in a contract signed in her own blood. Izumi had fallen to Dankness, taking an infernal bargain with the Ghost of Sunagakure, Yosei she had promised her servitude in exchange for power. Her life’s pace and scope at magnified to heights she’d never dare aspire and she loved it but what she never expected was the tedium of the days between. It was interactions like this one with the pretty young woman she’d met, Aisu, that kept her sane. ”It’s fine if you don’t remember anything, you just seem very interesting to me. I love a good mystery…” Izumi filled her seventh glass of wine and took a sip, “…I’ve been terribly rude. Are you hungry? Izumi’s thoughts jumped from place to place as they often did when she tried small talk. Her drinking pace quickened, if her jumbled thoughts failed to strike up a conversation at least she had getting drunk as a solid backup.

Upon Aisu's brief introduction of who she was and her explanation of why she currently found herself in the desert Ms.Izumi's eyes narrow ever so slightly at her words, Aisu hadn't considered it before but if someone was spreading rumors that Sunagakure was no more when a war just happened over its people then maybe it was all a lie to keep those wishing it further harm at bay, If Aisu had to guess she wasn't suppose to really know about it either but Ms.Izumi didn't seem to react horribly to her knowledge that it may be out there so Aisu decided to play it cool for now.

After a minute or two stuck in her position, Ms.Izumi began to relax as she sat back in the cushioned seats of the lavished sled, Ms.Izumi started to drink from a glass full of wine but from the contents that were left in the bottle and Ms.Izumi's breath already smelling like any average drunkard it was clear it was not her first of the day nor probably her last, once she was done taking some in she looked over to Aisu and gave her a smile with a kind look to it as she spoke, “You’re in luck then. I’m the next Kazekage’s girlfriend. So… Aisu? Do you really only have one name? No memories at all before two years. Not even things you think might be fake but can’t really tell?” Although Aisu had already deduced Ms.Izumi had ties to the current Sunagakure she couldn't imagine that she was in the presence of someone that would be the future Kazekage's partner, but she didn't have very long to linger on that fact as Ms.Izumi's next question was more personal and pressing to her, she asked if she really only had one name and that if her memories only gone back to two years ago, she even insisted to try and remember things that she thought were fake.

Although Ms.Izumi seemed to not want to press the matter and said it was alright if she didn't remember anything Aisu strangely felt the need to share with Ms.Izumi although she had just meant her for the first time, somewhat passively blocking out Ms.Izumi statement of asking if she was hungry Aisu paused for a moment looking into Ms.Izumi's eyes, and then her glance faded out as she tried to remember while speaking slowly and clearly while she vividly recalled her dream from earlier, "Earlier today I had a dream...I was in an infinite white space, nobody was there, but then after what felt like an eternity there was, two figures hollowed out into nothing less, I tried to reach them....to talk to them, but the closer I got the further away they seemed to go." She closed her eye's that caused a tear to roll down from both corners down to her cheeks, she quickly wiped them away and kept going, "I do remember something though, when I saw you come in your refined vehicle I remembered a caravan, the same caravan that I awoke in with no memories rolling across the desert...I have reason to believe that I was actually born in Sunagakure...although it's just a hunch."

Aisu looked back at Ms.Izumi, "They say eyes are the window to the soul, I wonder if I could see into my own eyes what I would find, happiness or despair..or maybe some odd combination of the two Lady Kari....Karisuma..." Aisu hadn't actually said her name before but now that she did it felt familiar on her tongue and it felt like it stuck, "Kar-i-suma...Karisuma...I know that word...but I can't remember.." As Aisu tried to remember where she heard it from before a intense headache started to roll in and she placed a hand over her forehead in a utterly useless attempt to ease the pain.

Izumi’s wine drinking rate hadn’t slowed after talking had finished, her seventh glass gone and eighth being filled the cask was starting to run low so Izumi pulled out another from an ornate cabinet filled with alcohol. "Earlier today I had a dream...I was in an infinite white space, nobody was there, but then after what felt like an eternity there was, two figures hollowed out into nothing less, I tried to reach them....to talk to them, but the closer I got the further away they seemed to go." At the sight of the young lady’s tears that she quickly wiped, Izumi set down her glass and moved next to the young lady and per her arms sympathetically around her shoulders,"I do remember something though, when I saw you come in your refined vehicle I remembered a caravan, the same caravan that I awoke in with no memories rolling across the desert...I have reason to believe that I was actually born in Sunagakure...although it's just a hunch." Aisu looked at Izumi who smiled warmly and gave her shoulder a light squeeze to reassure her. "They say eyes are the window to the soul, I wonder if I could see into my own eyes what I would find, happiness or despair..or maybe some odd combination of the two Lady Kari....Karisuma... Kar-i-suma...Karisuma...I know that word...but I can't remember.."  The young lady held her hands to her temples rubbing them, clearly in some sort of discomfort probably a headache.  Izumi’s left hand would glow green briefly flowing her healing energy through the younger woman’s system soothing any pain she might have.

Izumi would pull the young lady into a hug holding her head to her chest. “It’s okay Aisu.” Izumi thought on the information the young woman had given and got to wondering on the clues that were there trying to make sense of what could be causing the block in this young woman’s mind. “Karisuma is an ancient clan here in the Wind Country. Konoha has the Uchiha with their sharingan and the Hyuga with their byakugan we have the Karisum and their stunning eyes. While the few of us left can be found anywhere our true home is here in the sands. I’ve heard that too about eyes, and I think it’s true. You can see a lot of a person in their eyes, and for some reason yours draw me in. They’re the opposite of mine, yours red and mine blue but I have an odd feeling they’re the same deeper than the surface.  Are you a kunoichi Aisu? I attended the academy right here in the Wind Country while the original Sand Village was in its death throes. After the destruction I joined the Mist for a while but that was a misguided decision that I quite regret. I think we’re very similar, my mother was practically gone since my father stabbed me the night he left. I often wonder what actually occurred that night. I was raised by reality and that is a cruel situation for anyone. You’re safe now, and welcome to stay with me as long as you want regardless of your training. My girlfriend and I try to make a home for all children of the sand however great or small they may be. Even if this isn’t your birthplace your heart called you here so it must be where you belong right now. I don’t think we met by chance Aisu.” Izumi released the young lady from the embrace, her soft spoken speech easily heard in their proximity. Izumi would pick her glass back up and continue drinking waiting for a reply. The conversation came to Izumi easily now and was happy the initial awkwardness had passed.

While Aisu had been trying to ease the pain in her head suddenly a glowing green light appeared which surprised her and made her flinch until she saw it was from Lady Ka- Ms.Izumi she relaxed and was actually surprised to find the aching pain had actually been soothed away nearly instantly, after a few moments Aisu found herself much more relax then earlier, it seemed despite her not remembering much of anything It was still rather problematic for her and did cause quite a bit of emotional turmoil, as if on cue Ms.Izumi suddenly pulled her into an hug holding her head close to her chest, while Ms.Izumi said calming words to her she once again found herself questioning why was it that despite her being an utter stranger it felt so calming to be around her, although Aisu only ever knew the old man that ran the shop being close to Ms.Izumi felt as if she was almost...well...family..?

As if telling a story Ms.Izumi started to tell Aisu about the Karisuma due to her reaction to the word, she started by saying the Karisuma much like the Uchiha and Hyuga clan in the Land of Fire was the Land of Wind ocular powerhouse being the possessors of a dojutsu called the "Stunning eyes" and mentioned that although Sunagakure was the true home the clans people were now vastly scattered, she went back to Aisu's statement about the eyes are the window to the soul stating she believed in that notion as well and that Aisu's presence seemed to draw her in somehow and despite their eye's being different there was something similar about them deeper than the surface. Ms.Izumi then asked if she was a kunoichi stating that she was once a kunoichi in Sunagakure before it fell into its present state and that she joined Kirigakure afterwards for a time in which she now seems to regret, once again she stated that they were similar as both of their parents had little to do with their lives and the wondering of what actually happened, although while Ms.Izumi didn't know the inner workings of what happened to her Aisu knew next to nothing, or at least something was preventing her from knowing.

Letting Aisu go Ms.Izumi communicated that she was indeed safe with her for now and that she was welcome to stay with her for as long as she liked disregarding if she had the training or not, she stated that even if it wasn't her birthplace the fact that she was here was something only fate could have woven as was their meeting, Aisu didn't know what to say honestly but it was clear she had some odd connection to this women she didn't understand and quite frankly she wasn't willing to get back into the scalding desert heat so easily after enjoying quite a bit of shade as well as the fact that without her she would be hopelessly lost and may even die out in the desert at one point.

Aisu gave a warm smile at Ms.Izumi, "Okay, I'll come with you. I don't know If I'm a kunoichi, but if I was before I lost my memory my body should still remember subconsciously, if that's the case then I leave myself in your capable hands." Aisu would finish while bowing her head in respect.

Izumi was happy to see the young woman felt comfortable finally. Izumi felt a magnetism to the young woman it was almost like they knew each other in a past life or something. She had agreed to go with Izumi although it seemed she didn't even remember if she'd gone through the academy something Izumi assumed she had done given her increased chakra levels when compared to the average person. Izumi was just finishing her ninth glass when she heard shouting and felt the sled slowing down to a stop. It seemed the people who had come up from behind them had less than honourable intentions with the lavish looking sled. It was understandable why bandits would assume it was an easy target. These must have been the ones of the opportunist sort who didn't come from around here. Probably from one of the many minor countries that bordered the Land of Wind. The baffoon who called himself their leader called out “Give up and we might let you keep a camel.” The other men laughed quietly to themselves betraying the false hope the words offered.

“Aisu honey, stay out of the way while I go and deal with these vandals. Watch if you want though, I won't deny you the satisfaction of seeing these monsters slain.” When Izumi stepped out of the sled there were whistles and disturbing laughs. “We're in luck today boys.” said the leader as he looked Izumi up and down slow enough to make her skin crawl. “I'll give you one chance to leave or I'll kill you all. Painfully.” Izumi was not dressed for combat today and as such would refrain from using her favorite method of close combat looking each victim in the eyes as the light drained. The men all began to laugh when she was finished. “The less you resist the less it will hurt. Sugar tits.” The man said, eyes fixated on her cleavage. Izumi had enough of the disgusting men and with a burst of speed was twenty five meters away from the caravan in less than a second. The look of surprise was priceless in the men who were shaking in terror in realization that they had threatened a kunoichi not some damsel who would have lived a nightmare if they were in her situation. The intentions of these men was clear and Izumi really hated rapists.

“You made a mistake.” Izumi had made the half tiger hand seal as she rushed away from the caravan and as she said the word “mistake” her eyes would let out a brilliant flash of cyan light that froze all the men in place dazed in fascination with the beautiful woman before them. Once they were effectively disabled Izumi sent out a conflagration that incinerated the men on contact along with their mounts leaving no trace that they had ever existed in this spot except for scorch marks that would be scattered to the winds long before anyone who cared enough to investigate would pass. Izumi fixed her hair that was slightly out of place from her sudden movement took a deep breath and began to walk back to the sled where she'd join Aisu once more. “I'm both regretful and grateful that you had to see that Aisu. That flash of light was the power of the stunning eye. The flames afterward were my kunoichi training. Men need to learn respect. I'm happy to teach them their final lessons though. You never answered if you were hungry, would you like something to eat? I have plenty of light fare to keep our stomachs occupied if you haven't eaten.” While she waited, the older woman began her tenth glass of wine.

For a time everything was alright, Aisu felt safe with Ms.Izumi in the refined ornate sled cabin, but while Ms.Izumi downed another drink Aisu thought to herself about Karisuma, why did it feel so familiar to her even though today was the first time she was hearing it, Ms.Izumi did say that the clan was actually quite ancient, so maybe once Aisu got to the village she would search the place for any archive's relating to the Karisuma, or possibly just ask Ms.Izumi herself. However, the peace didn't last for very long as from outside shouting could be heard while it seemed the speed of the sled came to a stop, after a few moments Aisu heard a man call out, “Give up and we might let you keep a camel.” followed by the snickering of other men.

Ms.Izumi was quick to react as she told Aisu to stay in the cabin so she could deal with the problem or to watch her, Aisu decided to watch her, Ms.Izumi said she was a trainer in the village so curiosity leads her to watch what would be her future instructor. When Ms.Izumi stepped out of the sled the male's that had taunted them began to whistle and holler at her like some sexual object to be used, Aisu couldn't hear the dialogue of the conversation but judging by their faces the men clearly underestimated her indicated from their half smiles and carefree movements, by the time Aisu looked at Ms.Izumi she wasn't there which made her eyes widen in surprise, she instantly began looking for her only to find that she had basically disappeared and reappeared all the way at the male's location and they seemed to visibly become terrified of her presence.

Aisu couldn't hear what she was saying but as her lips moved Ms.Izumi made something called a handseal and at that moment something happened that shook Aisu to her very core, Ms.Izumi's eyes who had been blue before changed, while before they were still beautiful now it was like looking into the eye's of a goddess that made Aisu breathing temporary pause from shock, although surprise and the beauty of its sight quickly turned to pain in her head as hot flashes appeared in her memory, the blurred out and hollow humanoid figures suddenly weren't so empty as two pairs of beautiful eyes set their sights on her and seeing them caused her to shake a bit as the memory played, when Ms.Izumi returned she started talking but Aisu couldn't respond as she felt her body burning from the inside out, Aisu looked onwards towards Ms.Izumi but suddenly blood starting lightly dripping from her nose while at the same time Aisu's eyes begun to faintly glow a more beautiful shade of red while she spoke, "Som....ething...is wr-" Is all Aisu could get out before her eyes got heavy and she fainted from high mental strain.

Izumi

Izumi

A-rank
The scorch marked sands shimmered with the newly forged glass created by her intense flames. As Izumi returned she picked up some of the glass she'd have Nova make some earrings with it for their new friend. This time the glass had turned out a brilliant purple, which caused Izumi to grin, more evidence for their encounter being fate it seemed. Izumi gracefully glided across the sands back to the sled where her little friend was waiting. As Izumi had begun her speech, she noticed that Aisu seemed to be under some sort of distress but Izumi continued, figuring she could attend to it after her speech was done. When her nose started bleeding Izumi stopped talking and was at her side in less than a moment holding her around her shoulders. Then something happened Izumi never could have guessed, the young woman's eyes began to glow in an unmistakable way. Her eyes betrayed something about her that Izumi never would have guessed on her own but the reason for the feelings of connection and familiarity were obvious now. Aisu was a Karisuma, likely one of her parents was a child of one the few Karisuma who had disagreed with her uncle and was forced out of the clan. Izumi moved her hand to the back of Aisu's head as she tried to let Izumi know something was wrong before fully passing out. This must have been the first time Aisu's eyes had activated, Izumi passed out too. The hormonal production could overload your system until the Karisuma learned to control it.

Izumi laid the girl down softly so she could rest safely until they got back. Izumi put a hand to her forehead to make sure there was nothing more than the strain of her first usage of the stunning eye that had made her pass out. Izumi's chakra made its way through the younger Karisuma's system it felt for ailments and injuries within her young body. Other than the stress of her first usage of the stunning eye nothing seemed wrong with her. Izumi could feel the sweat and heat on her forehead and it sent memories rushing to her own mind. Izumi was back in her apartment with her mother “Mommy, how come all the other kids have a daddy but me?” Izumi's mother shook her head before turning around to Izumi and staring back at the little girl with her pretty green eyes framed by blonde hair. “Daddy was a bad man and I had to make him leave. He tried to hurt us and I stopped him.” The beautiful woman looked a lot like Izumi, in fact except for the eyes, they could have been the same woman. The gorgeous blonde took Izumi by the hand they left out the door going wherever it was they intended that day. Izumi snapped back to the present for the moment in order to order her driver to pick up the pace back to camp. Aisu seemed to be stable for the moment so Izumi returned to her introspective state of daydreams.

Izumi was having an argument with her mother like many young women did. It was about something stupid like going out to see a boy at night or something else that was clearly a bad idea to anyone but a teenager. Now Izumi had inherited more than just her pretty eyes from her father, she also inherited the horrible capacity for anger that led to the fateful night that he left. Izumi's skin was burning up which wasn't that odd, what was odd was the headache that had begun just behind her eyes. Everything sounded like it came from down a hall in a dream, her mother stopped looking angry and instead looked worried last thing Izumi remembered was her mother reaching out towards her to catch her as she passed out. Izumi was again brought back to reality through her driver, this time he was talking to her, “Lady Karisuma, I'm sorry to interrupt your thoughts but we've arrived.” Izumi shook her head to bring herself back to the present and into action. “Thank you Hiro, you're done for the day, thank you.” Izumi gently picked up the girl and carried her to one of the unoccupied tents.

There was a large fluffy bed covered in furs in the center that Izumi set the young woman down on. Izumi thought longer than she should have if it would be appropriate to undress the young woman before doing so and leaving to her own tent briefly to bring back some of her old clothes that she still had from the chunin exams. She was closer to Nova's height but more similar in build to Izumi so Izumi grabbed her chunin exams kimono that had the symbol of Kariusma on the back and brought it back to the tent where Aisu slept and set it at the foot of the bed before gently tucking her in to rest. Izumi left a note on top of the kimono saying to come to the big tent to get her when she woke up and that they needed to talk about a few things.
