Amaya hadn't been down to the shore for some time, other then when she had been training a particularly wet element. All in all it was a place she enjoyed, although it got a bit loud from time to time due to the sailors. Which, was exactly why she wasn't on the dock itself, but was nearby on the sandy beach, far enough away not to be deafened by the loud yelling and other rift raft that was going on around the ships. Also, far enough away if she got the sudden urge to brave the slightly chilled water and go for a random swim in the ocean.

She had leaned herself against a random old lamp pole about an hour ago, hands in her sweater pockets, and hadn't moved an inch the entire time, even when the wind blew her overly long white hair into her face. Her reddish gaze was just staring at the water, watching it come in and out, as if playing some constant poke game with the beach area. Or as if it wanted to come up but wasn't quit sure and kept changing its mind. Yeaaaaah, that grip on reality was beginning to slip, but hadn't managed to slip fully, yet.

She had taken to humming for about the past five minutes, a slow and some what sad sounding song. She doubted any of the sailors could hear her above their own noise, and she hadn't bothered to care about anyone else who might be close by to hear it. It was a song that had been trapped in her head, replaying itself, over and over again all day long. "Ah yes... great old boredom. Maybe something will come by to cure it.", she whispered.

Dax came running onto the beach with his hands in the air whooping with joy. The beach! He loved the beach. So many sights, smells, and food. All of the food! Dax ran into the scene with his pants rolled up his jacket taken off just showing his tank top he had underneath. Everything was stowed away in his satchel that bounced on his hip. Dax ran down the board walk and stopped directly at the edge where the sand began. His eyes opened wide and a grin grew on his face. He had never seen something like this before! All of the sand. There were no trees. Everything just seemed to be completely different compared to up in the mountains.

Dax took in a deep breath and let the salty air fill his nostrils. It seemed strong but the smell seemed to fit the sound of the crashing waves. Dax raised his hand to shade his face slightly as he looked up to the sky. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky. Just the bright yellow sun. It was just what he expected it to be. Except for one thing. As Dax was about to take a step onto the sand, a breeze blew through. The chilling air swept through from the sea and hit Dax like a brick wall. Dax threw his arms around himself and began to shiver. "Coollldddd!" Dax said with the chattering of the teeth. He had completely forgot that it was winter. That meant that it was cold. He choose the wrong day to go to the beach. It was freezing. Dax dove into his bag and threw out his jacket and shoes and put them on as quickly as possible. Dax bounced up and down with shoving his feet into his shoes that he almost fell over. Dax then threw his scarf around his neck and let it loop a couple of times.

Fubuki was just sitting and staring off into the distance while Dax was playing with this charade. Normally Fubuki would bark and dance around Dax as he made a fool of himself. Not this time. This time Fubuki was silent. After Dax completed his little dance around the boardwalk, he looked down at his little wolf. The pup was staring off ahead so Dax followed with his eyes. There in the far off distance was a ship yard where various barges and freighters were moving in and out on their daily work. Dax looked down at the small wolf and show his curious look. "What do you see?" Right then and there, Fubuki took off. Dax raised his hand to stop him but he was curious to see what the wolf saw. Dax looked ahead and using his eyes he could see an image of a girl just standing and staring off at the sea. Dax took a step forward and frowned. He was going to walk into the sand for the first time but it was not like how he had imagined it.

Dax shrugged his should and took a step and ran off into the sand towards the girl. It was interesting to see how the sand changed how he could run. It made him take extra steps so he could make a normal stride. Dax took note of this just in case that he had to use it in the future. Kenta-Sensei might give him a mission that involved the sea and he needed to be prepared. Fubuki ran down the shoreline padding away until he could make it up to the girl. He sat in front of her and listened to her humming. It was pleasant to hear. Fubuki panted in happiness. Dax ran down following the paw prints of his companion. Dax was completely curious now. As he got closer to the girl his ears picked up the faint sound of a song but with no words. Also this girl has a smell that he had never smelt of before. She must be from the village but he had not seen her before. Yet again he was fairly new here.

Dax approached and stopped not so far off from Fubuki making sure that he could protect his ninken if something were to go wrong. After a while Dax spoke, "Hiya!" he said with a small giggle. "Whatcha doing?" He said putting his hands behind his back and rocking back and forth on his feet.

Daisuke woke up on this rather nice day and wanted to go to the beach. He didn't know why, just he wanted to go. Dashi protested, but Nii really wanted to go! Swimming would be so much fun! Plus he could explore, and get seashells, and so many other awesome things today!

Needless to say, it didn't take Daisuke long to get changed into his swim suit. Just some swimming trunks, but no biggie. He took off running from Yuki's house to the beach. Speaking of Yukki, he'd been so nice as to let Daisuke stay there. Considering he didn't have a house or anything like that. Yukki seemed to act a little strange around Daisuke. In a good way though. "That's just the nervousness of being an amazing friend!" He'd thought, and said to Yukiteru a few times. His thoughts soon left him as he found the wide open beach. His eyes opened wide, and he took off running.

He ran for a little bit until he hit the water. He sprang out suddenly, the water being freezing. He shivered a bit, but the feeling of cold was soon ebbed away at the site of a white haired girl, and a young boy. Maybe his age? Next to the boy was...

A PUPPY!

Daisuke rushed to the boy and stopped when he got near the dog. The dog was so fluffy! He just wanted to hug it and pet it and anything else, but he controlled himself for a moment. As he took the moment of pause, he saw the girl up close. Bright hair. Very bright. Yet cool!

"Hi guys! I'm Daisuke. Whatcha guys doing here?" He said, smiling and rocking back and forth from the balls of his feet to the heels. Two people and a puppy. How fast could he make them his friends? If they wanted to be anyway.

Amaya's gaze turned first towards the wolf who had sat down, but her humming had continued. A slender white eyebrow had rose in at her curiosity, head tilting a bit as she just watched the pup. It wasn't unusual to see dogs running around, given the mass amount of Inuzuka... but a wolf? That wasn't something you saw each and every day. Then her reddish gaze turned towards Dax, far before he had spoken to her.

She took in his appearance, the fact that he seemed young, and very much like an Inuzuka. Putting two and two together in her mind, especially after what Ashi had told her about she gave a friendly small smile, her humming stopping. "I was simply watching the sea. It's calming. It's like meditating, I guess... in a way.", her voice was soft, yet loud enough to be heard above the wind that picked up and howled.

Her head tilted in the other direction as her gaze remained upon Dax. "Why are you dressed like that? It's cold out... you're going to get sick." Ah yes, the medic in her was always present. Sickness wasn't something she liked messing with; she had seen it go from bad to worse to death. All over something simple and small like a cold. "What's your name?"

If this was indeed the kid that Ashi had spoken to her about then she was going to have a talk with the girl about knocking some sense into the kid, just in a not so violent manner. Running around like that could cause you to catch your death.

Her attention then turned to the new comer, an eyebrow rising again, though she gave no response to this particular individual, just simply stared.

Dax was sitting and staring at the girl as she gave him a glance and returned her look to the sea. Dax walked up to her with Fubuki following him at the heels and stood next to her. He as well looked out at the sea. The waves moved back and forth and in and out. Seemed like a monotonous dance, but it was a something worth seeing. The girl standing now next to him was an interesting person. She seemed to have the same colored hair as him but the difference was that she had these red eyes. They were interesting eyes much like Dax but it seemed that she had something more to them. Something different. That was the exciting part. He was with an interesting person.

Dax put his hands behind his hand and rocked back onto one foot with his other foot having his toes pointed up to the sky. "The sea?" Dax said looking out seeing some seagulls swing by playing in the wind. Dax looked down at Fubuki and smiled at him. The wolf was sitting and staring out as well. Occasionally the pup would walk up to the shore line and paw at the water just to rush back when the water moved towards him. He would come cowering with his tail between his legs. He was such a silly puppy. Dax looked at the girl now smiling and took a couple steps back. He was done getting the view that he needed of the sea. Looking off at it now he giggled to himself. "You're right!" He said looking off at the calming nature of the water. Looking back with his violet yet caring eyes. "It is definitely calming..." He said giving a meek smile.

"It is weird though..." Dax said raising his hands and dancing around on a foot. "This place is filled with so much life and yet it had something so calming!" He said. Moving his hands back behind his head. Dax then flinched from the cold. Then he flinched from the slight scolding he received from the girl. "well..." Dax said rubbing his head and smiling with a nervous laugh. Looking down at himself he realized that he had not zipped up his jacket or anything. That was embarrassing. Dax put his hand on his zipper and zipped up his jacket. Then he bent over and unrolled his pants. Looking up at the girl smiling. "There!" He said with a laugh patting himself down enjoying the newly found warmth. Dax looked at the girl. She was definitely different. She would not smile or laugh. She seemed to have her mind somewhere else. Where was she? That was an interesting thought...

Dax then leaned forward from the excitement from hearing that she wanted to know who he was. "I.." He said putting up a thumb and pointing it at his chest. "Am Dax Inuzuka!" He said spinning around again. The gliding his hand down he grabbed his ninken and brought it up to his face. "And this.." He said holding Fubuki in front of him. "Is Fubuki!" The wolf squirmed and then yipped in happiness from the introduction. Dax let down his wolf and then turned abruptly. There came a boy running in soaking wet. Dax edged a way slightly from the sudden energy but he liked it and smiled. Dax waved at the boy and laughed. "Hiyo!" He said turning his head around.

Fubuki who was now just set down saw the dripping wet boy too. Instead of being happy and hyper with the girl, Fubuki crouched low and growled. His hairs on his back stood on end. He did not like the boys energy especially with how the boy smelled. Dax gave the wolf a blank stare and then took in a deep breath smelling the boy's air. It was different as the boy had the smell of salt and his clothes reeked of a different smell. There he could smell some far off land something not of Konoha. He could tell this because the girl in front of him had a different smell but was from this village as she had the smell of the leaves in the surrounding area. Where was this boy from? Why would he be in Konoha to have such a different smell. That was an interesting thought. His eyes flashed from the interesting thought.

Daisuke looked at the girl when she didn't respond. So she was a quiet type? Hmmm. How to deal with that... Daisuke decided to not speak to her at the moment. As he looked away though, he noticed red eyes. He didn't think much of them. He didn't know about the uchia very little, if at all. Maybe she was just born with awesome eyes? Daisuke wanted to find out more, but pushing someone who doesn't speak might be bad.

He then turned back at the boy and waved. "Hey there!" He said, obvious joy in his voice. He bent down a little bit by the dog and was gonna pet it. Then it started to growl. Daisuke cocked his head, but stood back up. He was really confused at first. What could be the reason for a hyper dog to act like that suddenly? Then a light went off. It was because he wasn't from Konoha. He was from Kiri. Or, what was left anyway.

"Oh yeah! I'm sorry. I'm Daisuke Niidashi. I'm from Kiri!" He looked to the boy and made gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry if I scare the puppy."

Amaya kept quiet for a moment, just looking between the two and then to the puppy and back again. Yeaaaah, this was slightly awkward. She was, however, glad to see that the one who had introduced himself as Dax had zipped up his coat and otherwise fixed his pant legs; at least now she didn't have to worry about seeing him in the Konoha hospital any time soon... at least not for something as silly as a head cold.

She listened to the other male introduce himself next, an eyebrow raising a bit as once more her curiosity peeked the scales. 'Ah, so he is from Kiri... that would explain why I haven't seen him around.', she thought to herself. She figured it was time introduce herself, or else come off as rude, which she didn't want to, at least not until given a reason to. "My name is Amaya... Amaya Uchiha."

She directed her reddish gaze to Dax at that point giving a nod in his general direction. "I thought you were the kid Ashi told me about, and you are." She nodded towards his wolf. "She told me of your companion as well."

She then turned her gaze back to the sea, returning to watching it. She honestly had nothing else to say, she was socially awkward, extremely so. So, unless someone spoke to her she was just going to be the third wheel of sorts, and remain silent.

Dax looked at the boy with a blank stare but a smile on his face. He was an interesting character to come all the way over to the docks. Especially on top of that he was from Kiri. Which was where? Dax was not very good with the outside villages that are not Konoha. He would just have to think that it was some special place. All he had to do was take in the scent in from the boy and he would have a pretty good idea. Dax took another deep breath in and received the scent. The boy had a distant smell that harnessed the smell of water. Not any kind of water but a sort of fresh water smell that he only smells when a fog runs through the mountains. Which made sense to him now since Kiri meant mist.

Dax looked over at the boy who had named himself as Daisuke. It was an interesting name but he guessed it had to go with who he was. He had a sort of energetic personality like Dax and that was exciting, but the only thing that made him worry was that the other girl, Amaya, might find herself weirded out by it. THrough his time here he has met many people of different personalities and one of the hardest to deal with his those of the socially awkward, which is what he believes that she has. Having two overly energetic people would cause an issue to her. Dax took a deep breath and put his hands behind his head. and rocked back on his foot once again.

Dax gave the boy a cautious look as he went down to pet Fubuki. He was about to jump on the boy and grab his arm to tell him not to touch his wolf pup. But it seemed as though Fubuki had it covered. The boy backed away slightly from this shock. Dax laughed slightly and apologized, "Sorry!" He said smiling and rubbing the back of his head. "Fubuki doesn't let many people touch him...." Dax said looking down at his dog and giving him a playful look. "He has so far only let the Kage and a friend of mine Ashi touch him...and me of course" Dax looked at the boy. "You'll have to prove yourself to him more than others since your from another village" He said letting out a slight giggle.

Something caught his ear and he could hear that the girl was finally speaking. Dax turned around abruptly so he could listen to each word. She said that she was Amaya...Uchiha. Uchiha? Dax tapped his face. He had heard that name before. What kind of clan was it? Dax looked at Amaya and then with a grand smile he finally realized who they were. "Oh thats so cool!" He said with all the happiness in his heart. "You're from that clan everyone talks about in the village! Its nice to meet you!" Dax said with a spin around, happy-go-lucky attitude of his. Dax put his hands behind his back and rocked back and forth as she continued to speak. All he could give her was a smile and a blank stare as she stated that Ashi had talked about him. That was kind of embarrassing. Dax put his head down low to cover up the blush. He had someone talking about him.

Dax looked up and gave Amaya a smile. "Talking about us? What did she say?" Dax said looking down at Fubuki giving the pup who was on edge that whole time a smile. He hoped that Fubuki would calm down. He was in one of his mods and he needed not to be on edge the whole time. Which he was. Fubuki was sitting there not taking his eyes off the boy for a second. Fubuki didn't want anything to move without his approval or he would go into defensive mode. He would go into offensive mode but Dax taught him not to so it would allow Dax to make a couple of friends if they were from outside of the village.

Amaya's head tilted at his words about her clan. Ah yes, she should expect that by now, but it still came as a slight surprise to know people still talked about the Uchiha the way they did. Not that she hadn't heard it herself, but then again... most tended to not notice her at first, and usually shut up after they did; either in fear of their lives for trash talking her clan, or fear of their lives because she looked like something from their nightmares. She didn't know. Wasn't going to ask, either. Anyway, moving on, as these weren't thoughts she needed to dwell on at this moment, especially seeing as Dax didn't insult her, only made a statement. She really needed to calm down and stop letting what others said affect her so much...

"Yeah, I guess that'd be that clan everyone talks about.", she gave a shrug, emotionless mask back in place for the moment. She glanced towards the little wolf and then back to Dax, shifting slightly against the pole into a slightly more comfortable position.

At his next question she chuckled and just shrugged lightly. "Eh, not much. Just that you two took a walk while she was giving you a tour of the Inuzuka compound, talked for a while, that sort of thing. Also, that Akai ate a butterfly and regretted it later when it gave her a stomach ache."

Her gaze shifted to the waves that were beginning to seep in closer and closer as the tide rose. They were calming, and soon a light smile plastered itself on Amaya's face and just remained there.

Dax gave the girl a smile. She was different than other people. He could tell. The way that she carried herself and moved in the course of the wind. Not to mention, her scent. Everyone's scent meant something to their personality. Also not to mention, it tells where they have been. Which was always fun and exciting. To hear everyone's stories and adventures. It was like a dream for Dax to travel out of the village. A dream that was laced with a fear. He was afraid to leave his home in the fear of something happening. Something that would repeat his past. His history. Something that he would regret dreadfully if it were to occur again. Dax shuddered at the thought.

Noticing that the boy fell silent over off to the side. Dax giggled to himself. Did he turn quiet because of a fear of the Uchiha's that would be a funny thought. The Uchiha's are not something to be feared. They are a strong clan that helps Konoha survive with all of their expertise. Dax actually respects them! He had for all of this time when he would see on walk across his house. Going on missions or off to train. He could not dream to have such ambition and drive. Dax looked off to the waves and smiled brightly. He shoved his hands in his pockets and nuzzled his chin into his jacket. Looking slightly off to the left he could see Fubuki who was still standing behind Dax giving the newcomer a stare. A stare that Dax knew he would not break until he is proven that the boy is not a threat. Dax smiled lightly and bent over to pet his ninken. The wolf enjoyed the pleasure but still kept one violet eye on the boy.

Dax stood back up and turned to Amaya. She had now put herself with her back against the pole. She was definitely the quiet one in groups. Her face read it all. Why would people put on such masks? It was all of the interesting concepts that Dax had. But he had to focus on her. She seemed to move away from the group. Did Dax insult her with his comment? He would have to rectify it later. Dax looked at Amaya and smiled. He heard what happened to Akai and laughed. "That silly dog!" He giggle some more. "That cool that you guys are talking to each other!" He said looking up to her face. "I really like Ashi.." He looked off to the side. Amaya probably knows about Ashi's problems and therefore he didnt have to be discrete about anything but there was someone here that didnt needed to know these things. "I really like Ashi alot! As her teammate and friend! I want to be there for her in her troubled times and in her happy times! I am glad others are there for her too" He said with a proud look on his face. "In fact, I want to experience everyones good and bad because that makes us all friends." He shifted his weight slightly.

Dax looked off onto the see and spoke softly. "It always fun when everyone is smiling and laughing together..You dont feel so alone sometimes." Dax look over his shoulder back to Amaya and smiled at her. Looking back to the sea. "Thats why I say all the good things and bad things that happen to me and my friends every day so I can remember it!" Dax said with a laugh and then turned to the sea and filled his lungs with air. He was going to scream this out with all his might. "SO MANY THINGS HAVE HAPPENED TO ME!" He began. "I HAVE MET THE KAGE! I FOUND NEW TEAMMATES! I WENT ON A WALK THROUGH THE COMPOUND! I FEEL BAD FOR AKAI FOR SHE IS FEELING SICK BUT I STILL THINK IT IS FUNNY!" Dax continued on listing everything that had happened to him since he got to the village. FUbuki appeared at his side and yipped and howled to just like he was talking about his day.He went on and on describing every small detail until he reached the end. "FINALLY! TODAY! I MET SOMEONE NEW FROM OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE! I ALSO MET SOMEONE FROM ONE OF THE COOLEST CLANS! I MET AN UCHIHA! I THANK THEM FOR KEEPING US SAFE IN THE VILLAGE! I COULD ONLY HOPE TO BE LIKE THEM WHEN I GROW UP!" Dax exhaled and then panted for a little bit.

That was a hard thing to do. He turned and looked back at Amaya and smiled. "I do that everyday, so I dont forget a single thing and it makes me appreciate all of those I have me!" HE giggled to himself and looked off to the sea to watch it move back and forth.
