Jamie was walking around the festival grounds as he got told to have fun by Ashi, as well as to be careful not to get lost as he went around he was looking for Shippo as he softly whispered "Shippo" as he walked around he noticed someone with Inuzuka markings and began to scurry a bit with the pitter patter steps of light little squirrel only to find it was someone else when he looked closer stopping dead in his tracks as he felt his heart break for a moment.

Jamie kept looking around getting a bit tired and a bit hot, he was going to get a mask a bit later as he began to feel a little lonely in this festival as people seemed to crowd the streets as he found his way out of the field. Tsume most likely would have noticed him by now, as he just walked slightly away from the main area to a small open field of grass with a wooden log to sit on as he went to go sit by himself as he waited and hoped that Tsume and Shippo would find him. Ashi already knew where he was, but she did not want to baby sit him too much so she stayed a safe distance away and just looked on like a doting mother as she wondered if Shippo would be a good brother and also wondering if she had been a bit too much in a rush to adopt him.

Jamie stood out at times when there were clan meetings or gatherings since he was basically an outsider on the inside. He had no companion or markings as well as not possessing their blood line as his ordinary nose gave him away every single time. Shippo had his work cut out for him, since even though they had done a mission together before the festival there was something about Jamie that was still in the way of them being closer. To be honest they all got along so well, but it was just that Jamie did not really know how to be happy when he spent most of his life just being okay with wherever his life took him.

His heart had begun to move, and with the feelings of love come other feelings he never knew existed. A feeling that was slowly brooding deep inside his fragile heart.

Shippo smiled as he walked around the festival grounds. He wasn’t one to usually go to Festivals without his mother, and that was something that he could only consider a great joy right now. He used to be the only child that his mother had, and this caused her to be overbearing to the point of obsession with his health and wellbeing. Now that she had Jamie, she was able to effectively spread around her motherly instincts which had seen a small calming of her overbearing nature. Tonight, he and Tsume were enjoying one of those kinds of bits of relaxing moments. He and Jamie were able to move through the festival together.

It was a fun little festival and Shippo was able to relax. Today he was dressed in a pair of hakama pants with a set of tight-fitting cloth pants. The top was a Gi top that hung loosely on Shippo’s frame and was light enough to be able to move around effectively. Tsume looked a bit shinier but was otherwise not wearing anything else that would be of interest or use. The pair were moving through the Festival making their way through it without stopping. That was at least until they spotted a stand that was selling cotton candy. Shippo smiled as he bought three of them smiling and nodding his head as he was sure that Jamie would like Cotton Candy.

Tsume sniffed around and gave a soft yip of excitement as he found their new brother. Moving over towards the small open field where the log that was where Jamie was sitting. The pair stopped in front of their new sibling smiling. Shippo himself spoke “Hey there Jamie. Sorry that we are late, but we got caught up.” He said with a smile holding out one of the three things of Cotton Candy out to Jamie smiling “I thought that you would enjoy this. It’s cotton candy, and we love it.” He said before he took a seat next to the younger shinobi and looked at the Festival “So, is there anything you’d like to see at this festival?” he asked his younger brother before looking around “We could also just walk around and see what happens to be interesting to us.” He said holding out the cotton candy in his hand for Tsume as he took a bite of his own smiling warmly to Jamie.

Jamie felt a sadness deep down inside as Ashi was getting annoyed before realizing that Tsume and Shippo were on their way. She knew how to hide her scent and then decided to leave when she felt everything would be okay. She believed in Shippo and she believed in Jamie as well as she went on to get them some gifts for the festival.

Jamie thought he heard a soft sound like a dog or a wolf and then he looked up as two pairs of feet approached him, two big feet and two paws of a wild animal as his heart knew it could only be his brothers. Since the pets of Inuzuka were like family it was a bit confusing since Jamie realized soon that Tsume was just as much part of the family as him, probably even more then him as part of him felt like he was lower then a dog. Though as he spent time with them he began to wonder if being lower then a dog was not really that bad when dogs were loyal and brave.

Two drops fell from Jamie's eyes but he wiped them with his arm before his teary eyes could be seen as he blinked a few times before looking intensely at Tsume. Jamie just noticed the strange pink fluffy clouds of candy as a part of him felt excited but did not show on his sad looking face. Jamie just took the cotton candy with both hands and bit on it for a bit before looking to the side.

"Shi..., can we just walk around?" as he seemed a bit conflicted as he wondered if he asked something stupid. Everyone was playing and all he wanted to do was walk around with his family.

Shippo smiled as he ate his cotton candy and loved the taste of it. Tsume ate some of his, but he picked up on Jamie’s attitude and he moved over to rub and yip up softly at the other human. He gently placed his paws on Jamie’s knees and looked up at him wagging his tail quickly. Shippo handed Jamie the cotton candy that was for Tsume and smiled “I think he wants you to feed him.” He said simply smiling and letting the interaction between Tsume and Jamie.

Hearing what Jamie wanted to do for the time they had at the Festival he nodded his head finishing his cotton candy slowly rising to his feet. Tsume ate as much or as little as Jamie let him eat, while also having snuggled him as much as the other human being allowed. When Shippo stood up however Tsume moved back to allow Jamie the chance to stand up. Shippo himself extended a hand towards Jamie smiling at him “Come on, let’s go walk around. I haven’t seen much of this festival without mom around. I am sure that you can find something interesting to look at, or see.” He said helping Jamie up to his feet.

Once Jamie was on his feet Shippo kept hold of his hand and looked towards the Festival nodding his head “Well, let’s get going.” He said walking hand in hand with his new younger brother not pulling him, but gently guiding him towards the festival only until Jamie started to move on his own, then he would slow down and allow Jamie to lead. Tsume was trotting along next to Jamie his tail wagging in his excitement.

Jamie felt a bit better as Tsume yipped he instinctively gave a soft ruffle on top of Tsume's head which he actually liked as well since Ashi sometimes spoiled him with them. Though she stopped doing them too much since he started looking down when ever he got close not from being shy, but simply from wanting another head rub as she realized her mistake then. Jamie still found it strange that Tsume always seemed to paw so lightly on him, he was always curious how heavy Tsume was, but considering how frail he was Tsume most likely knew better. He was a bit confused as he held out the cotton candy only for Tsume to lick some of it and then take a bite of it as he ate from the other end. He had gotten used to eating with the dogs, not to mention Tsume was usually more clean then Shippo, though the messiest eater was usually Jamie when he was not being shy and eating like a girl on a diet.

Tsume gave Jamie some room as he got up as he saw Shippo's hand and gently took hold of it. He wondered if he would get this big one day, but he also wondered how Shippo felt about having him as a little brother as he was still nervous at times. Even a small joke around the eating table could render Jamie into awkward silence as he was not really good at picking up on those. Jamie finally followed and while Shippo tried to slow down it seemed it got lost on Jamie who simply kept matching the pace as Tsume nudged him slightly so he would at least be next to Shippo rather then slightly behind him as Tsume stayed close to Jamie who then used his other hand to also hold onto Shippo's hand. "Shi, Tsume..." as he wanted to say something but then changed his mind as he looked down and said softly. "thanks..." as only Tsume heard and probably could let Shippo know, but Jamie was blushing so it might end up being something for Tsume and Shippo to chat about later.

As they continued the walk Jamie noticed some families throwing coins into a fountain as he looked to Shippo. "Shi, what are they doing?"

Shippo smiled as he watched the interaction between Jamie and Tsume. He loved his canine partner, and seeing that he was getting along with Jamie was nice. Of course, Tsume liked Jamie, dogs were the perfect judge of character. When Tsume ate the cotton candy he gave soft yips of pleasure. He enjoyed cotton candy and was not afraid of getting a bit dirty when it came to eating this delicious little treat. Normally he was a tidy eater, but figuring that it was the festival he wouldn’t get scolded by his father who was Ashi’s partner for being messy. When the treat was gone, and the trio was walking along Tsume was next to Jamie. He didn’t mind being around Jamie, at the same time though he was careful to make it obvious that he was Shippo’s partner, and that Jamie would need to get his own one day.

Shippo himself looked Jamie over with a smile and then looked down to Tsume who was trying to get Jamie to lead but ended up only making it so Jamie would walk at a similar pace with them. He also looked at Jamie and thought long and hard about him being his little brother. His mother and father were welcoming to Jamie and were calling him their own son. If he was their son then he would need a canine companion of his own. True enough that he would have a handicap being that Inuzuka seemed to have an even deeper connection to their ninken than anyone else would have with a hound. Still, he would be able to create a deep bond with a canine partner if only given the chance to have a partner. He made it a mental note to ask his mother and father about getting Jamie a ninken of his own. He was about to say something more when he heard Tsume yip up at Jamie in response to what he heard Jamie said to them.

Shippo stopped dead and looked at the fountain and then to Jamie smiling at him “Ah they are making wishes. You see, you take a coin and toss it in the fountain in order to make a wish.” He pulled out a couple of coins from inside his sleeves and held one out to Jamie nodding his head slowly “Would you like to go make a wish?” he asked holding out the coin for him.
