Lynn Uchiha

Lynn Uchiha

D-rank
Lynn was fairly pissed off tonight, for only one reason; he had to speak to someone of his own kind. That was something he was not happy about going through, to the point he nearly had an aneurysm just thinking about it. But, he was a little proud of himself for not breaking down and trying to kill the guy; it could have gone down a lot worse if that's what had happened. He obviously would become wanted for that, too. But, let's be honest...he only could dream of doing something like that. He'd never have the heart. Either way, he NEEDED to get some alone time, or he would wake up with a raging headache the next day. And what better place to not only get peace and quiet but also take some stress out of his system, than at the lovely training grounds? Especially at this time of night, where the brutal heat was replaced with the cold, something Lynn appreciated nicely.

He knew it wouldn't take long to get there, especially if he took that shortcut through the slums. Just a weaving tunnel, which led to a number of pathways of questionable quality. It was only useful for getting to the training grounds, and going nowhere else in the city. Better that way, it would mean barely anyone would know it was there, and he could access it on days he deemed were terrible; kinda like this one! And so, with the swiftness the body of a Genin could best provide, he went through, the darkness not bothering him from his inability to see. The cold also barely affected him, though it did give him a few goosebumps, from how good it felt compared to the Suna heat.

Once he made it there, he'd pull a kunai out of his pants pocket, tossing it a bit in the air and catching it, before rushing at one of the testing dummies and beginning to slash the crap out of it. Of course, despite his ungodly anger, it wasn't sloppy whatsoever; all his strikes were calculated, striking at the imaginary vital spots of his opponent, actually striking hard enough that it looked like it might fall apart. The strength and speed he showed, at the very least, would amaze any normal citizen. To any other Shinobi, however, it was most likely child's play; he was only a Genin, fresh out of school, after all. The only point of interest would be where and how he hit at it; he was trained to kill or harm quickly and efficiently, and couldn't just go willy-nilly on his opponents, due to his fragile stature and lack of Ninjutsu, aside from things like Academy Clones. Either way, the immeasurable amount of hostility he held in his weapon chipped away the more time he spent, calm soon befalling him, so it was little more than regular training. Hopefully, nothing could ruin this moment he was having...

"Misami.." The sleeping Otter within the training grounds would mutter to himself, dreaming. In his head, he was within a discarded battlefield, one of which was littered with fallen silhouettes and their weapons, the grass would run with streaks of green and gray, and the wind, which he couldn't feel upon his own skin, would blow along the blades, encouraging them to move in an almost hypnotic fashion. Despite the white sun being out, shining upon this field of blood, grass, bodies, and water, it felt unusually cold, virtually giving him goosebumps everywhere on his body save for his tail. He would look around, only to see much of the same thing; a large circular clearing among a wall of trees, which blocked his view from anything beyond. This was a place he didn't recognize, let alone had visited before, but he must've at some point, as there would be no other reason for him to be dreaming of it if he hadn't.

He would recognize one person though, clad in second and third degree burns, her clothes singed, torn, and ripped, her mouth still sewn shut, though half of her head would be missing hair and she herself would be standing with a broken shard of a sword, clasped tightly enough in her right hand for a small amount of a black liquid to trickle out. She stood there and merely stared at Aiden, whom of which could do nothing but stare back, wondering why she was haunting his dreams now, was it the guilt he felt for killing her, or the association she had with Daiki now that would fuel her existence here? Either way, it was unsettling. With her injuries, torn clothing, and broken blade, she looked like something out of a horror movie, something that should most definitely be dead, but for some reason, isn't.

She would seemingly drop the shard onto the grass, and instead use a bloody finger to beckon the Chuunin over, and over he went, drawn to find out about what she had wanted from him. She tried to kill him once, but he can still recall the smile on her face after she had been injured, the smile she gave when he tried to escape her. Something had told him that she didn't wish to attack him, that her actions weren't her own, and like an animal that had just found its owner, of a lost child their mother, he would stumble on forwards, aiming to reach her and see what she needed from him. He would have to stop in his tracks, however, as he could see the ground underneath his feet begin the move, the blades of grass being matted down as some sort of clear liquid brushed over a small section of them.

As the blades begin to wash away, he would see more and more of what he could only assume was a river, with him stuck in the middle, the current pushing against his legs, though he didn't feel that as much as he felt his balance beginning to leave him. He would begin to more hastily trudge through the water, only to go deeper and deeper into it, his own cage of liquid, one of which refused to allow him to be on the other side. Soon enough it would reach his waist and then, as he saw her smile again, he would be overtaken by the current, knocked over and washed away, the strength of the moving waters being enough to keep him from seeing anything else but water for a short while.

Soon enough however, he would emerge, only to see himself within the forest itself, the hidden waters having carried him through the clearing and into the trees, where a small home would be burning, the fire as black as pitch and the silhouettes even darker. The door would break down, though within would be even more silhouettes. "Hey, get away from there!" He would yell to the silhouettes as he would claw for the edge of the river, surprisingly enough having a more easy time climbing out than before. He would attempt to grab the nearest one, though his hand merely phased through their body, so instead he would run through them all, entering the home to see if anyone or anything was within.

Having entered the home, Aiden would only see three silhouettes fighting one, with the one seemingly able to fend for itself at first, before seemingly being cornered, receiving multiple cuts and stabs from the three before they turned towards Aiden's direction, looking past him. As he would follow their gaze, he would only see Misami there, seemingly blocking something as she stared directly towards the male. As the three fell upon her, he would receive a sudden, sharp pain in his head. "Go back into your cage, creature." It would say, only intensifying as he tried getting closer to Misami, though the pain was too much, and soon enough, he would end up kneeling outside, with all of the silhouettes gone, leaving just him behind.

He would wake up to a start, however, revealing the nighttime sky above, and leaving him breathing heavily as he would look around in panic. He would see nothing at first as he slept under the stars, instead he would hear something, or someone, along with the sounds of something hitting wood. He had realized that this thing or person or whatever it was was woke him from him slumber, the source of the noises, and that now that he was awake he may as well investigate. Sleep held nothing but bad dreams, nightmares of past figures haunting him and of places he was sure he had never been to before. He would rub his eyes and scratch his head, waking up a little longer. He would then get to his feet, stretching his arms before making his way towards the nearby training dummies, where he would plant his blue eyes upon the one that would be attacking them with a kunai.

"Isn't it a little late to be stabbing a dummy?" He would ask as he brushed off his blue short sleeved shirt and black pants. It was nighttime, so he didn't expect the other person to see any dust, but still, it helps all the more with looking somewhat decent, especially considering his black hair was sort of a bed-head right now. "What's up? Who are you?"
