Seiryū

Seiryū

D-rank
When he thought about it, from here on forth he could essentially go anywhere and still be hunted down, if Sunagakure no Sato had the extra men to spare. With how tense and cautious the shinobi world was these days, especially with Suna’s current standing without a kage, it was unlikely they would have the ability to spare the man power to chase after a shinobi of Seiryū’s calibre. With the freedom currently afforded to him, Seiryū already knew the first place he would go, even if it could potentially be for a very brief period of time. The destination he had in mind was renowned as being the strongest of the major shinobi villages along with their infamous hunter-nin known and of course the standard ANBU corps. It would be a death trap, in essence, for Seiryū should he decide to walk within their borders, but he had something that needed taking care of before anything else and that could only be accomplished in Kirigakure no Sato.

If his death would come of visiting the shinobi nation located in Mizu no Kuni, then so be it. Seiryū had set his mind that he would see her once more, solely to explain why they would either need to limit their contact even further or cut if off completely, altogether. If this was the end of it all, while he would regret having to come that decision, it would likely be for the better. She was more than able to handle herself, but he didn’t want to affect her status by letting it be known she was associating with a missing-nin who apparently killed in cold blood. Another sacrifice, but such was the way his life had played out thus far. Everything in his life had driven him to be alone and such was likely the case with their relationship. It was eventually doomed to fail. That’s just who Seiryū was. Anyone close to him would eventually be pushed further away for some reason or another.

Already having all the items he needed on his person, his weapons, Seiryū was set on making his path towards Mizu no Kuni as soon as possible. Petting Momo’s cheek with his unoccupied left index finger, Seiryū nudged her towards his center where she could cling on to the scarf he wore. There was more than enough space for the jerboa to hold on and be comfortable on the long trek to the Land of Water, though Seiryū knew he’d have to veer off the path every now and then to throw off any possible units that would be chasing after him – if there were any.

Doing a mental recount of all the items he had on his person, Seiryū was more than ready to leave the desert behind, for Kaze no Kuni no longer held a place for Imada Seiryū. His name would just remain just that, only soured by the actions he had performed just a mere hour ago. There would be no one who would be affected by his association in Suna, for there was no one close to him in the village.

Leaving Sunagakure no Sato behind wasn’t as difficult as Seiryū initially thought it would be, for he truly never had anything in the village that held him rooted to it – only his sense of obligation to make things better overall for the village. That obligation failed miserably, for the only way to eliminate it would be to go on a massive killing spree of those involved, more names and families would be dragged out from their secure hiding spots in plain sight. Seiryū had no intention of going after such a goal right now. Perhaps, now, was simply the time to allow Seiryū to be Seiryū. Figure out who he truly was beyond the obligation he created for himself. Without a second look back towards the village, Seiryū took off, ready to make his way to Mizu no Kuni.
