Abirama Rin

It was the birds chirping that awoke Rin this morning, it was still quite early but it seemed to be late in the morning for Rin, he must has slept in. He sat up slowly, bringing a hand to his face to rub his eyes lightly and give off a light yawn before falling back onto his bed. It was faint but Rin could hear one of his sisters, Ikumi, she was talking to Masami about something, perhaps it was about something they were working on, he couldn't make it out. After a few minutes of relaxing in bed Rin lifted himself up again and slid his legs over the side of the bed and onto the floor. Rin got up and started walking to the bathroom, bare foot across the cold wooden floor, when he approached the mirror he looked deeply into it. He ran a hand through his silver hair before looking to the clothes he had lined up for the day, he put on a clean pair black boxers before putting on his green shorts and his white shirt. Rin continued to get dressed, putting on his socks and his shoes before putting on his green jacket. He returned to the mirror and picked up a brush to start combing his hair.

Rin passed by his sisters who had been in the store below the house, he was clearly shorter than the both of them but he didn't really mind, his mind was on more pressing matters. Today he was to meet the team he had been assigned to, although they weren't too sure if they were going to meet their sensei today or not. Rin was excited, he was looking forward to making new friends, as a Ninja, Rin hadn't done much except work on his sealing techniques. He had no idea what to expect from these new people but he was sure that they'd be exceptional. Rin quickly grabbed a small piece of bread from the kitchen and cut it open before buttering it and digging in. The bread had some herbs in it and was really enjoyable for Rin, it took him a good few minutes before he was able to finish his breakfast.

He made his way out of the shop, gently closing the store door as to not make much noise. Rin took in a deep breath and breathed out, making a little smile before starting to walk on the sidewalk, a little further into the village. He looked around at the other villagers, looking up to them from time to time before polishing his headband that he used as a belt. He made his way past the bookstore that was rather close to the Administrator Building, he was making his way to the Admin Building where he was told to meet them, perhaps they'd go for ramen after. After a few minutes, Rin was standing in the just outside the building, he was swaying lightly with his hands behind his back.

After his awakening and his newly formed friendship, Nōmisu found that for now he would use his former prison as a working space and a place rest his head. It was a comfortable chamber, after all. His bed lay centered along the wall adjacent to the entry way. On either side of him were mounds of books. There was a small side room on the left of the bed which had a shower and a sink and any other hygiene amenities he could possibly have needed. The machines which formerly sat on standby for his needs were now shut down. They didn't work any longer, meaning either they were on a finite power supply with a programmed date to shut down, or someone pulled the plug at that moment in which he came of age. Regardless, Nōmisu enjoyed a restful nights sleep leading to this particular morning.

He awoke refreshed and regenerated, a little later in the day compared to what normal people would sleep. His routine was normal, only slightly different now that he had experienced the world outside of his chamber he felt the sting of loneliness he hadn't quite experienced before. It was odd. One didn't miss a thing until they experienced it. Was it a gift or a curse, this newfound freedom? Nōmisu shook his head at the thoughts and spit into the sink as he finished brushing his teeth and he headed for the exit. His location was going to have to change sooner or later, as a man walking out of a mausoleum each morning was going to start raising eyebrows. Shimada had expressed to him the unbelievable nature of that.

One of the essential functions of a shinobi at his early stages of training was to be assigned to a squad. Nōmisu would take it upon himself to navigate to the administration building this morning, which was fortunately easy to find by following the signs. It was still nerve racking, fumbling through crowds of people. Rivers of humans traveling throughout this village. Nōmisu only survived the venture by focusing on one thing at a time. The administrative office building was plain, central, and organized. This was satisfying to him and kept him calm as he pushed through the doors and approached the counter. This was where his heart sunk. He had no idea whether this woman would have him on record or not. At that, he was having to approach and speak to her. He cleared his throat.

"Hello. I am in need of a squad. My name is Kamizuki, Nōmisu."

It was robotic and almost emotionless. Anyone with a mind would've realized his was nervous. Extraordinarily so. The woman flashed him a smile and dug through her files until she pulled one out and looked at it with shock. She told him to wait a moment and went to a back section of the place. She returned, seemingly having resolved whatever qualm she had previously had. She handed him a piece of paper with a shaking hand and a false smile. Nōmisu took the paper and read quickly. His squad would meet just outside of this facility in only five minutes...

Nōmisu stepped outside.

"Lovecraft? Are you awake" The nurse peaked into the bedroom, shielding her eyes with the palm of her hand so as to not intrude on her patients privacy. "Lovecraft, are you there? May I walk in?" She sneaked closer, pulling the door slightly opened and put her first foot in. Her footstep was unsteady from the dampened floor. For some reason, ever since the patient was admitted, the room always had a moist dampened feel to it and once they awaken, she found herself slipping at times. The child was such a tragically odd lad, nice and quite pleasant for moments of time, but still odd and it was tragic. The doctors chalked it up to the trauma of having their adoptive family murdered before their eyes and to a certain degree she agreed but it was something about it that set her off. For a child who no longer could see, he acted quite calm about his predicament. Typically blinded ninja were immediately dropped from the program, especially newly minted genin who had no particular worth, even if they were of noble blood. But Julius was not dropped. They remained in the program and everyone acted like it was normal. His voice, mannerism, the look in his pale pale purple eyes. She was twice his age and more experience in life in general but she felt like she were the one with less power, helpless in his gaze. No, no she was being ridiculous. Why on earth would she be afraid of a child? Perhaps she had been taking too many extra shifts lately and it has been messing with her head. Yea, that seems more likely. After she does her check up on Lovecraft, she will head to her boss' office and ask for some time off. She deserved it dammit. So with renewed vigor, the nurse moved her hand, and let her eyes open, stalking inside the room with a purpose in her gait.

So where was Lovecraft?

***Meantime elsewhere***

"Papers, equipment, and name please" The chuunin gate guard withheld their yawn and gave the lad a look over. It was odd to see someone with pure white hair aside from that freaky swordsman Chi, and from the look of that blue kiri headband around their neck, a foreigner too. But hey they have seen stranger things. He seemed harmless enough and they personally thought themselves to be a good judge of people. Their partner was less optimistic and more wary of the foreigner. She knew about the Kiri - Konoha exchange program and personally did not support it though she only vocalized her opinions when she was less than sober. So whilst she wanted to deny the white haired kiri genin's entry, they knew it would be unfair them without proper reasoning (her expression however gave her true feelings away). Julius just smiled and adjusted their purple shades as they took out their documents from their satchel as well as their equipment "Julius 'Arkham' Lovecraft. I am here on behalf of the Kono - Kiri Ninja Exchange Program"

A few minutes later, the Osada Inuzuka child found themselves out of the admin building. They had gotten their registration in order and would be sent to their temporary dorm later. For now they would be moved to a team session since a spot just opened and the staff figured it would be best to see how Julius acts with the Konoha nin on their home base. Kirito had 10 ryo it will result in a fight of some form and Asuna had 20 it will be pleasant. Yuki just ships Julius with every pretty person that walks into the door to which they found kind of halarious. So as they walked outside, they activated their molecular dedection jutsu so they could better find their way around to a pair of folks not far off looking like they were meeting therefore Lovecraft walked up to them, right behind the green cloaked man and waved their left hand greeting the pair "Haha, Hi there. You two would not happened to be my new squad mates? I'm Julius 'Arkham' Lovecraft by the way~"

Rin waited calmly at the building, looking around with care before looking back down where he would get a small sketch pad out of his pocket so that he could start doing some minor drawings. A recent idea that had only just occurred to him a few days ago was that he should use some phrases he found rather interesting from his father's book that was left to him. The book seemed to have holy scriptures and were in a completely different language, but thankfully, his oldest sister understood the language. She was made to learn it when she was little as a way to continue his family's tradition. From what Rin was told about his parents, they were both Ninja in the past, and they were from two different clans, his father was known for his skill in sealing but his mother was known for something else, it wasn't talked about and it seemed that it happened in a different village, Rin was never too sure. All he had left of his parents was that book, and it was the last chapter of the book that intrigued him the most, it had something to do with revealing the end of the world, or the end times or something like that, but Rin seemed to like it, he practically memorised the section, just not the name, he always struggled with that. Rin started with a circle written in that language followed by symbols, each circle had meaning and each one would name the attack.

Once Rin had completed one of the circles of his new seal, he looked up a little to see if he maybe missed something while he was busy, it had been roughly eight minutes and he had, he missed a strange looking man, taller than himself. This person looked like he had some sort of authority yet he wore robes. Rin got up and put the notepad away in his pocket along with his pencil before slowly approaching this man. He looked up at him with awe, not speaking for a few moments before finally letting words slip, "Are you here for the Konoha team?" He spoke softly, almost quiet and in a voice that wouldn't suit a man. He extended his hand a little for a handshake, "I'm Rin." The whole time Rin had heard light footsteps approaching, but when they ended, he had some sort of feeling like something was behind him. The next thing he heard was a laugh followed by an introduction, asking if we were squad mates, Rin almost jumped out of his skin but he turned around quickly. "H-hi, I'm Rin. Abirama Rin. I think we might be." He looked at Julius, looking him in the eyes, they seemed a little murky, not normal, it was the first thing Rin noticed, the second was the Kiri headband.

Nōmisu had been thrust into a world of shinobi in only a matter of moments. The morning was well over by now, and though it seemed the world was progressing faster than he had ever anticipated. Why had the woman at the desk reacted so strangely to his file? Who knew, his situation wasn't exactly standard and she probably thought he was a psychopath. He noticed some people gathering and assumed these were his new squad members.

The first wore a green Konoha jacket and a white shirt beneath, a standard appearance for sure. They had light silvery hair and blue eyes, much like Nōmisu himself possessed. The other was a white haired man who appeared blind based on the intense damage which seemed to mark his eyes. Each introduced themselves. The first as Rin. The other as Julius. Nōmisu was nervous, and as such he raised his hand to his head and did what he always did. With a rush of chakra his nerves relaxed and his anxiety faded a bit, if only temporarily. He smiled and reached out to shake the hands of his new comrades.

"I am called Nōmisu. It is a pleasure to meet you. Please excuse any social shortcomings I may present in conversation.."

He was gentle and careful, having learned from his experiences with Shimada. The weather was rather lovely on this day and Nōmisu was hoping deeply that the end result of the day as a whole would match that wonderful feeling. These people would end up being long term allies, possibly even friends if things went well. That's something Nōmisu had no knowledge of whatsoever.

The next step they would take was uncertain and Nōmisu didn't really know how to take social confrontation so he stood still waiting for one of the others to initiate something. The worst case scenario would be that all three of them would be quiet individuals.
