It wasn't much of a night out. Ryu was on his way back from the party on the outskirts of the main village as per his usual. After all gaining revenue off the wealthy kids drinking games was profitable. After all they never remembered the next day due to how much they drank. Ryu himself was actually incapable of getting drunk off the basic crap they drank. Not to mention the hosts of these parties had learned to talk to him ahead of time to order cheaper but highly alcoholic mixes. If anything Ryu was beyond being a thug, he was a Myugan. They were known for their drink concoctions as a clan and had originated in Suna. So his name did open some doors for him outside of the shinobi world. So long as he went and did business to places without a liquor liscence he didn't have to worry about running into his own clan selling their brews. After all they preferred to remain legitimate and didn't do underhanded deals like he did. Still he was cautious just in case word got back to them and only sold enough to be sold out by the end of the night. Limited an amount as that was they still sold quickly.

Still he walked down the street while keeping an eye on his surroundings. Outside of the slums in the actual village he was nervous. After all he had been caught stealing and was a known convict. He did his time but he still didn't feel at home in the main village. His long blonde hair was tied back with a large hair band, dark in color as the night sky. An eye patch covering his right eye simply because the odd colors made him uncomfortable when people stared. Not to mention around here he might be accused of being a dojutsu hunter. Simply wasn't the case. The discolored eyes were a birth defect. It was a warm night though so he wasn't wearing his usual jean jacket and instead simply had on a short sleeved robe top. Halfway open across the chest where a pendant hung. It changed color in the light but it looked like a basic trinket. Only really of value to him. However his tribal tattoo's were clearly visible even in the dim lamp light. For bottoms he had on a pair of blue jeans tucked and folded over steel toe boots. His single Kunai was hidden inside his right boot. Barely an indication in the pants leg.

Ryu only briefly stopped at a shop to buy himself a candy bar and a pack of smokes with his newfound money from the bets. The owners watched him nervously and seemed relieved when he paid in full. He opted not to really talk to them during the encounter as doing so would only increase the discomfort and any snide comments might piss him off. With a shrug at their prying eyes he would walk out with the candy in a bag and pack the pack of smokes against his right palm. He would only have to walk about three more blocks to hit the slums outskirts so no wonder they were nervous. He could forgive a little fear. Still by the time he hit the edge of the slums he had a smoke between his lips and lit. Taking a drag on it as he walked with his ears listening now for anyone. He was a known combatant here. Leader of the Jackals. Taking him down was worth some renown. It paid to show a little caution. His eyes keeping a look out with that reasoning in mind.

It wasn't long before he rounded a corner by an abandoned house and saw the door was kicked in. The frame in shambles from the force of it. A frown formed on his face as he recognized the house. A homeless family lived there just trying to get by. They didn't own the house but the husband went every day into the village looking for work and the mother took care of the two kids. Making sure they were educated. No one in the slums should have any reason to mess with them. Already he felt his muscles tensing as anger ran through him like electricity. He was going to figure out who the hell was doing this and he was going to fuck up their world. Quietly he moved up to the house before his ears picked up the noise of sobbing and talking from the back yard. With a click of his tongue against his teeth he moved around the side of the house and quietly strolled into the back yard. What appeared before his eyes was something he hadn't expected and he was suddenly filled with rage at the sight of it.

In the back yard the Wife was holding the two kids while the husband, still in suit and tie was being held by each arm by two young men while a third backhanded him across the face. A fourth and older man was leaning on an old chain link fence as he watched. Speaking to the man as he was hit again. "Filth should know to stay in the slums. You got no future Mister. Now my cousin is aiming for that same job you applied for. You are going to miss that interview tomorrow you feel?" It was then that he noticed each of them was wearing a head band. Shinobi from the main village were in the eastern slums. Forcing their hand on the family. The bag of candy hit the ground as Ryu stepped in the light. The family looked at him and so did the shinobi as he stood there. Shaking with anger. How dare they decide this family didn't deserve a future. Raiton actively coursed around Ryu as it visible sparked around him. A single sentence would escape his lips through gritted teeth. Clenched so hard he might crack them.

"I suggest you run you son of a bitch."

Yui had been thinking a lot recently and had even been approached by several council members that wished her to return as a active Kage, they needed leadership and guidance and this was something she could certainly offer. They knew of her past but more then anyone they could offer the job to they understood she knew the weight of heavy and hard choices, the things they asked her to do as Kage before was very hard for someone that was her age. She had to save her village at the cost of many lives and chose the village over her own morality, this did take a toll on her as they were aware she felt distant after this but had shown signs she was finally recovering from the traumatic experience she had then.

As she had another meeting with several of the council she sighed, they knew she hated a majority of them for making her have to make such a hard choice but at the same time her village needed a strong leader, someone that understood the past and understood what it meant to chose a difficult choice and the consequences it could have. She wanted a strong village again and she wanted a strong leader but she was out of shape sadly for combat, she had really not practiced much since her days as kage and really needed to get back into shape.

She laughed a bit at the thought of her being kage again, she had heard her cousin recently became kage again in Konoha she would have to pay him a visit sometime, sure they fought when she was younger but she had matured and grown up a lot since those days of her brash and sometimes irrational behavior. As she made her way through the slums she was coming to investigate rumors of someone rising up in the east side, another possible strong gang leader other then the four at the top with her being one of them.

As she entered the area she could smell blood as Sekkiea also noticed the pair would begin to make there way toward the smell, they could also hear the sounds of a struggle as the pair would hide in the shadows and watch what was unfolding.

It appeared the young man was attempting to stop them, his anger and rage could be felt by her and he was having no part in these men's schemes, she would wait to see how events unfolded as she changed her appearance so if she had to make a move they would not realize who she truly was.

"Sekkiea be ready, if things look bad for him we will make our move and show these idiots what we think of bullying someone simply trying to improve his life and that of his family, this will not be tolerated if I become kage again."

Sekkiea would nod to her as she gritter her teeth the fact this was happening showed why she had to become Kage again the corruption was beginning to get bad once more. Just like the days she first became Kage, many officials were ,lining their pockets to look the other way and the shinobi were to busy doing other tasks to notice the slums issues.

The three on the man had paused their beating as Ryu had approached while the man on the fence simply glanced at the man approaching. Ryu was a fairly tall man and tanned with muscles visible. Not your typical push over citizen. Not to mention the visible raiton energy was alarming. Still the leader of the Suna Squad would blink once while idly forming a Horse hand sign. His eyes opened to reveal a glassy blue hue that shined in the dark as his sensory activated. He looked Ryu over before sighing in relief. He couldn't spot Yui or her companion from the range they were at but he could clearly see the chakra levels within Ryu. He wasn't worried about someone roughly genin level. His students were being primed for the next chunnin exams and he had selected them from the top of their class. Some upstart from the slums didn't really concern him. Probably some guy that had unlocked his chakra nature simply through anger. He was already tired of him. He would glance to the three boys who looked back at him expectantly. Puppets but loyal ones. He would nod to them before he watched as they dropped the man. Speaking as he glanced at his own nails and brushed them against his chest.

"Bad move there stranger. See, I loved my poor mother. Talking bad about her is going to cost you. Boys. Break both his arms."

The three young men would smirk before moving towards Ryu in a triangle formation. Keeping a steady walking pace in hopes of menacing their opponent. Ryu cracked his neck and his knuckles as he watched them each and sized them up. The big one was in the center while the two smaller boys appeared to be his support. Ryu would let out a breath as they approached him with grins. So they thought they had the advantage? People who targeted the weak often didn't realize they themselves had not grown strong. Ryu waited and watched as they got within one meter before suddenly all three moved quickly. The big one charged forward in an attempt to shoulder check him in the chest while the other two darted to either side of Ryu and attempted to kick him in the back of the head and the back of the legs. It was then that Ryu shifted into what the Myugan were also famous for. Drunken boxing.

Idly Ryu stumbled to the right and shoulder checked the kid trying to dart passed him and interlocking one of his legs between the kids. Tripping him as he rolled into the house. On the impact with the kid after he side stepped the shoulder check it seemed to knock him into the side of the big man and hard. The big man already bent over with sudden impact on his back was sent into the other kid as their legs tangled up and they fell onto each other. Ryu stumbled back and seemed to accidentally step on the first kids head he had tripped before standing out in front of all of them. They were already getting up and angry.

The big one nodded to the kid he had stepped on before the scene shifted into a serious one. The one on the ground next to him suddenly launched over and grabbed Ryu's ankles and pulled him down. Ryu grunted but landed sitting on his knee's. Already his fist raised and fell as he began to pound on his attackers face. He glanced up as the big one and the other small one charged him. One of his free hands grabbed an old hose and chucked it with the metal head first at the big one. Pegging him in the mouth but the little on grabbed him around the chest and other arm. By all appearances he was pinned. The big one spit out some blood before walking over. He would grab Ryu by the hair and yank it back before pointing his pointer finger at Ryu's nose as if he was going to shoot something straight up his nostril. A spark appeared before a round fire ball about the size of a ping pong ball appeared on the end of his finger. He was aiming to maim for that last hit.

Ryu growled and focused his chakra then. Immediately his fingertips lit up with energy before suddenly it surged into his body. All three yelped as suddenly a shock ran through them and they instinctively let go of the thing burning them. As they let go Ryu shifted both his hands together and roared out in rage at them as suddenly the space between them lit up like a flare going off. Like thunder a booming pulse of raiton energy shot into all three boys and sent them flying back into the house. The big one crashing through a window as the other two hit the wall and groaned. Ryu stumbled to his feet and was still shaking with rage as he was watching the two boys and the windows. Roaring out at them. Unaware of the sensei gathering chakra in his mouth behind him. He had moved from the fence silently and was aiming for a point blank shot at this upstart.


"C'mon! Get back up!"

Yui watched as the events unfolded this boy was quite talented cause her to smile, however he was in a losing numbers game and if she did not help he would be in trouble soon. She watched his movement he was quite quick on his feet and he seemed to know how to deal with more then one opponent however the man trying to attack him from behind the fence would certainly injure him badly if she did not move right now.

She would quickly planet her feet into the ground before exploding toward the man her hand moving quickly aim to strike him in the throat before his attack could get off. The force of her blow likely crushing his windpipe as he had no idea she was coming, before the man stood a woman with long black hair, a grin on her face as his eyes began to close. He knew who she was she was one of the top four gang bosses in Suna, the name was Kagera; The Iron Fist, the name given for the fact she almost only used her fists and her amazing taijutsu to crush her opponents leaving a wake of destruction in her path.

He made little to no noise as she would catch him falling to the ground making sure to knock him out on the way down, she did not want to interfere and wanted to see what he could do against the other three. She had plans setting into motion soon and with her aiming to be Kage again she needed to find someone to watch and lead the underground for her while she was in office, this person needed to have a strong faith in her and also needed to be strong enough to control the shady side of Suna.

As Kage she would not have the time to bring justice for those that needed all the time with political interference as well as corruption from the officials, she would cleanse the village of this soon, but she needed a lot more information and a clad proof set of facts. She was not sure how high this went but she was sure it would stretch high into the village and likely with the council, to bring this all down and safe the slums she had to gather as much proof as she possibly could before making her move.

She looked at Sekkia and motioned for her to be ready to save the boy, if he needed help she would certainly save him, he wanted to help the slums just like herself but she knew it went way above petty officers, she had to end this entire chain of corruption as well as misery being inflicted on the slums, if she did this she was sure the council would have to accept her as Kage again. This was the way she could prove she was once again ready to lead the village, and show the corruption of some of the council, finally ending what she started long ago.

Ryu wasn't aware of the man behind him. He was focused on the task at hand and the man had slipped passed his guard efficiently. Some part of him still expected honor from shinobi even as low as this sort so he hadn't considered a sneak attack from the squad leader. A weakness he would have to overcome in time. Before it really got him hurt or killed. As this situation would of had she not stepped in. However she was so efficient he hadn't noticed her either. A shift of wind hand drawn his attention but in the split second her attack took when he glanced back behind him with his fist suddenly up in a defensive arm over his face there was nothing there. His eye searched now for the squad leader as he didn't see anyone (Assuming she was hiding). Figuring he would of attacked by now and instead he had fled when his squad got taken down Ryu simply returned to his fight. Keeping his ears peeled for anything he might hear coming at him from behind. His eye instead took on the house. His opponents had hit it pretty hard. He watched the two on the ground start to get up and could sense the big one inside stirring.

He cracked his neck as he took his surroundings into consideration. The three were still gathering their bearings. He looked to the family which had rushed to the fathers side. His eye looking them over as he debated if they could move. They seemed well enough off. At least for getting out of the way. However he couldn't damage their home more. They would have to move to avoid retaliation but they likely had belongings within the residence. Luckily there were plenty of other abandoned homes. Still he would nod towards them to get their attention as he spoke. "Yo. Get yourselves to the front yard. I ain't much of one for protecting others in a fight. Move...now." The wife would nod before scooping herself under her husbands arm and helping him to his feet before ushering her kids towards the side passage and following them. The family was out of the way now. As for the fight if he wanted it to go his way he needed more open ground. His eyes noted the fenced off abandoned construction pit behind him. He would just move the fight there.

Still the big guy came crashing back out the window and landing between the two smaller members of his squad. Spit forming out of the corner of his mouth from how pissed he was. His eyes bloodshot from getting hit that hard and feeling ashamed. He didn't even notice his squad leader was gone. His voice came out with venom in it as he almost snarled. " I am going to destroy you punk! They won't even be able to find a body!" Ryu narrowed his eyes as he shifted his stance. He knew they were going to come harder than before now. Something they likely had been preparing as a team. He glanced at all three as they seemed to be preparing something as they moved into a triangle formation. He scoffed before suddenly Ryu was moving. In a second he was turned around and leaping over the fence with one hand on top of it. The big one smirked before he would inhale and run forward. Both his allies joining him. All three keeping just behind Ryu as their combo came into play. The big one shot out a spray of suiton from his mouth as it flooded forth in a torrent while the other two both clasped their hands together and with their combined energies launched raiton into the Suiton spray energizing it.

Ryu was prepared with an evasion technique though. He had been preparing chakra in his feet as he ran and the jutsu release behind him was a low attack and an instant one. With that considered and the fact that raiton wasn't something that lasted long his options opened up. Right when it seemed the water would smash into him and wipe him out from behind his feet planted and the earth shifted around his feet launching upwards. A round platform carrying him up into the air only to be wiped out at only two meters. Still it was enough as he jumped up from it gaining just a little more height. Just as he had predicted the raiton ceased immediately upon the attack finishing. All three looked up at him in the night air in shock before seeing him descend. Ryu fell to the earth with a fist clenched from four meters up and slammed down his fist into the earth ahead of him landing. As he did all the earth in the abandoned construction site shifted. Ground cracked and shifted as the entire area collapsed in on itself for 25 meters. Old tools and rusted beams fell into the earth and so did the squad he was fighting. Losing their footing and falling deep within. As they regained their bearings none of them were hurt beyond bruising. However Ryu planted his boot on the big ones chest and leaned on his knee. Whipping out his kunai and holding it above his eye as he pulled off his eye patch. Looking him in the eye just behind the shining blade of the kunai.

"Do I look like someone who can be broken? Look into my eyes and tell me you think you can win."

She continued to watch the fight as the one man was now incapacitated and unable to fight anytime soon, the way he fought it was not like anything she had seen, such rough skill, yet it was clear he had amazing talent, he was like a diamond not polished or cut yet, still beautiful in its own right. He certainly had the talent to become a leader, such strength and yet he had not even injured them that badly yet, she wanted to watch more but with those men starting to use Ninjutsu the chance more damage could happen in this part of the village was to great.

She closed her eyes for a second as she could feel the ground shake, she looked to see Ryu smashing down with the area collapsing around him, it brought a smile to her face,. She was impressed someone like him could do that but now it was time to end a few of these nuisance herself. He had attacked the larger man as her and Sekkiea would spring forward rushing the other two as her foot would suddenly rise connecting with one of their chests as suddenly a flurry of fast and powerful kicks began to rise the man off the ground as they would begin to go higher and higher before she would slam her foot into the mans chest and send him rocketing toward the ground. His body would slam down with a thunderous force, the ground would begin to ripple from the shock waves, it was clear this woman was powerful as hell.

Sekkia would rush toward the other man as she would quickly latch her teeth onto the mans throats dragging him to the ground and holding him there, if he tried to resist she would tear his throat out. Now he was in a one verses one fight it was time to see how he would deal with it. The woman he saw had long black hair and rather normal looking attire for the village but the symbol on her overcoat was known to all gangs, she was known as the Queen of Blood one of the strongest gang leaders in Suna.

"Okay boy; let me see what you have, now that this is a fair fight, I do not think I need to introduce myself but I am the Queen of Blood, also called the Iron Fist Kagera, I came here because I heard of a new leader rising rapidly in this area and came to see if he is worthy, or would I need to crush him like a ant."

She waited to see just what he would do to the larger man, it would still be a tough fight for him, but from what she saw he should win, his Taijutsu skill alone could make up the difference in power, he had a very strong style much like her own. Would he prove to be someone she could trust to lead a even bigger area, if she was to become Kage again she would lose all her focus she had on the underground, she needed someone worthy to watch and take care of the slums, he had a passion to save them and that gave her hope.

Ryu was thrown off by the sudden burst of speed passed him. He shifted his Kunai into a defensive stance but the lady had already passed him before he could even perceive her movements. His clothes rippled in her passing as his hair blew back. He turned and jumped back expecting the Sensei had come back and was going to attack him from his vulnerable spots. His elbow was already lowered with his kunai pointed forward and his knee raised to limit the amount of his vitals exposed. However it appeared he wasn't the target. A new arrival was just dominating one of the smaller of the three. So much force that the ground rippled at the impact of him crashing to the ground and Ryu considered the fact the kid was likely dead. Or if not close to it. His eyes shifted as he landed to a scared sniffle behind him and there was a rather large beast with its teeth holding the throat of the other kid holding rather still. He hadn't been the target of the assault but that didn't exactly comfort him much. She was looking at him now and he could see her clearly in the moonlight.

Anyone with half a mind within the slums knew that symbol on her coat. She was the queen of blood and for her to be this far east had to be bad news for him. He had considered himself under the radar for a while but the use of jutsu in the east side wasn't something that could be hidden easily. Ryu felt a bead of sweat roll down his cheek as he focused on keeping his breathing steady. She spoke to him and mentioned she had heard of him. She was here to test him it seemed. His eyes shifted to the big guy that looked like he was about to soil himself but was also concerned for his team mates. He wasn't filled with fight anymore. Ryu had outmatched him to begin with but now he was defeated. Fighting him further would be pointless. He grit his teeth with the urge of self preservation telling him to eliminate the kid like she wanted. Or at least like it appeared she did. However there was something in him that couldn't accept killing someone already beaten that wasn't a murderer. A thug sure but he already got a beating for that. He clicked his teeth as he felt angry at his morals but still he shifted and brought up his kunai. His hand shook but he gripped it tight as he faced her. His eyes focused on her as he spoke.

"Killing shinobi from the village won't help the slums. If they dun have it coming I won't do it. He is all out of fight so no...I won't be fighting him. This might be the dumbest shit I have ever done but I am going to let him help his friends and make sure they survive. They know what awaits them should they come back to the slums with ill intent. Shit if I wanna die for them but if you stop them from getting to the hospital you and I...we are gonna go toe to toe."
