It was a cloudy day in the Village Hidden by Rocks, and Raishi was utterly enjoying the soothing coolness and almost serene calmness that the cloudy skies brought. As he walked through the crowded streets, he basked in the glory of the cool day as a soothing breeze brushed against his face gently, kissing him lightly as it rushed on to the next unsuspecting villager. These were the type of days that he loved, the cool days that seemed to slow everything down, and quiet the habitual loudness that resonated throughout the village. Best of all, he stayed dry, unlike the usual stickiness and streams of sweat that poured out of his body due to his high body temperature. To some people, it may have been a cold, windy day and he could confirm this by looking at the villagers he passed on the streets. A lot of them wore more layers than usual which suggested that the temperature was colder than they were used to. People who once wore sleeveless tees and shorts, now wore long, baggy garments that engulfed their being. He even saw a child with so many layers on, she resembled a massive ball of yarn. He smiled a radiant smile, looking around him as he headed for the Administration Building. By his standards, this is was a wonderful day.

He was now a few meters from the Administration Building and Raishi began thinking about what he was going to expect from the current page. He had heard a lot of things about him, and was frankly impressed by all the kage's improvements he had made in the village upon entering office. Not only had he generated lethal policies towards crime and illicit activities in the hidden rock, but he had also managed to improve the quality of living in the village as a whole through massive projects such as establishing a grand bazaar and constructing a free school for both shinobi and civilians alike in the village. From what he had heard and seen about the new age, Raishi could confidently say that he knew exactly what he was doing. He was not only a strong mind when it came to the ninja arts, but he was also intelligent in other matters of great significance such as politics and economics. A great leader indeed Raishi thought to himself now entering the building. He had met all three kage before hand ; Kazu, Arashi and Dengen and none of them had made such impressive moves as the current kage. In fact, the previous kage the ones Raishi knew of, either did harm or did nothing at all to the wellbeing of the village. Dungeon had almost started a war with Konoha, a feat caused by his own arrogance. Arashi had died before he even got to do anything. And Kazu had just been in the shadows most of the time. He is the best kage we've had so far he thought to himself confidently, glad that Iwagakure finally had a capable leader.

He walked towards the secretary, a big smile on his face as he talked to her.
"Good day, is Lord Tsuchikage available?"
He looked into her eyes as she nodded happily, pointing in the direction of the the Tsuchikage's office. Raishi thanked her quickly and walked off slowly towards the massive door that signified the office. It was not far from the office that he once again saw an all too familiar symbol on what seemed to be an announcement board of some sorts. The Iwagakure Oracles... he thought to himself as he slowed himself to a stop in front of the board. Was he capable of joining such an elite division? Even though at the moment he was completely mediocre? I need to have more confidence in myself he thought encouragingly as he walked off to the door, the division's symbol etched perfectly in his mind. He approached the door and as he did, his being seemed to shrink more and more. He had never met this kage before unlike all the other previous kage, and he began to dread more and more the decision he made to come here wearing only his casual black pants, black sandals, and a white tank top with hid clan insignia on his back. Perhaps I should have thought to dress more formally.. he said to himself as he knocked on the door to make the kage aware of his presence, and opened it slowly. A surprising nervousness overtook him as he realised he was about to meet Akira Kazako.

Raishi would find himself in the main lobby when he arrived at the administration building. The first floor. It was fairly simple in terms of a first floor. It had an open area where people could gather between the doors and the front desk. On the wall was a list of offices within the building and what floor they were on. The list was a dark grey plastic with white letters placed in order via a sliding bar layered one over the other. It was the kind of thing one might find in any office building. The listing was as follows.

Floor 1 - Lobby- security desk.
Floor 2 - Mission administration D - B
Floor 3 - Mission administration A - SS
Floor 4 - Licencing and finance.
Floor 5 - Foreign relations
Floor 6 - Special divisions captains offices
Floor 7 - Tsuchikage office

If he followed the signs arrows he would either find the stairwell of the elevator. Security was obviously tight within the office. Camera's watched the lobby and in order to get through the security desk to the elevator he would have to show some identification. However his identification as a Jounin would let him pass with no further questions asked. Though the security guard, a grizzled man with a pair of hatchets on his belt and a headband holding his grey hair back made a phone call. It was obvious the man wasn't some rent a cop. He was a tsuchikage Shinobi and he readily identified as such. Not only that but he had lived to an old age. Something about his calm posture seemed to attest to that. He would wave Raishi through with a smile and then go back to arguing with an old lady that was claiming the administration building was built on her families property and they had no right to be in her home. Typical Tuesday.

Still whether he took the stairs or the elevator he would be faced with an interesting room when the door opened. A waiting room seemed like a casual living room almost. The fireplace off to one side sat cold since it was plenty warm out but a big chair sat on either side of a stone table on either end as well as a couch on both sides. On the table was some magazines and a pair of sizable booted feet. Those feet attached to a massive man that was obviously part of the Kuma clan from Iwa. Not only did he have animal like features a black bear with silver eyes that matched the man was lounged out next to him .The bear sniffed the air and upon detecting no explosives it rested its head with a bored growl. A large fan blew over both of them creating a bit of an air current in the room. The man himself was wearing furs he seemed to have put together himself. However he wasn't the only person in the room, simply one of the two guards. The other one he might even recognize. She too was a kanetsu. However unlike the man she sat behind a counter dressed in a button up white shirt and a black pair of slacks. She had a pair of glasses resting on her nose as she typed on the computer but her eyes flashed to Raishi as he spoke to her. He spoke of being here to see the Tsuchikage and that close he would be able to see one eye was black and the other white with a burn around her eye from some lava mistake long ago. Akira had offered to heal it but she had refused. A sword and shield hung on the wall behind her. She smiled to him and indicate the hall behind her leading to the office though as he passed her she rose an eyebrow at his choice of attire.

The walk to the office was a little bit of a long hallway. Lights along the ceiling lit up the white hallway with the grey carpeting. It was all maintained well and spotless but smelled a bit like chlorine. Still as he approached the office at the end of the hall it became apparent that Akira liked the finer things. The door itself was made of redwood and had defensive seals scratched into it that if Raishi could read seals he would be able to see that if someone tried to force their way through the door then the seal would return the force used in kind. Basically a reflection seal. Akira wasn't kidding around when it came to security. Still nothing felt hostile about it all. In fact when Raishi knocked the seal flashed and then faded away. Still there but deactivated. Not by Akira of course but by the woman at the desk he just passed. She wasn't kidding when it came to being in her position as the Tsuchikage's body guard either. Even if the man could be impossible. So when Raishi pushed on the door it would open to his touch easily.

The office itself was actually kind of homey. The wall around the door was decorated with all the Tsuchikage of the past. In order from left to right top to bottom. The wall to the right of the door was a liquor cabinet with every type of drink imaginable stocked into its glass cabinets with a counter for glasses and ice available. To the left of the door was a massive fireplace with a persian rug on the floor and a glass coffee table with two couches facing each other, one on either side of the table, black and with Egyptian cotton covers. While the wall directly across from the door was lined with shelves. All with scrolls locked within them. They could be seen but some layer of chakra seemed to be creating a barrier. Just in front of the shelves that stretched across the entire wall was a stone desk carved into a beautiful array with a flat top and constructed from the chakra reinforced stone that made the walls. Three seats sat between the door and the desk. All looked comfortable enough with the leather cushions but not well worn. The seat behind the desk was red leather and made custom for him. On the desk was a set of files to one side next to a pen and a lap top still flipped open as well as an ash tray with a cigar butt in it and a cigar clipper next to it. Close to it was a polished wooden box which one could assume housed more cigars and some matches. Akira himself was in black slacks and dress boots with a dark green button up shirt and a black tie buttoned to the shirt. It looked nice while still not being easy to grab onto like a usual tie would be. Over the shirt was a white vest which was also buttoned up. His hair looked to hang loose about his face but still well trimmed as was his beard. His coat hung off the back of his seat casually with his twin daggers tucked into it. Akira looked up with his golden eyes as the door opened and smiled warmly. Still those Golden eyes seemed to observe everything about the young man in an instant and then some. Akira wasn't just a man that tossed power around, He was as much a powerhouse sitting there as he would be out there in a fist fight. His presence was passively giving off the vibe that anything that came at him was going to get crushed and hard. Yet in his smile was a practiced medical practitioners warmth. Still he stood as Raishi entered and let his legs push his seat back as he held out his hand for a handshake. His voice was like silk on the ears when he spoke so much so that it was easy to see how he had managed to talk a country into fixing itself.

"Well hello there. Welcome to my office, I am of course Kazako Akira, at your service. Now, while I could of looked you up on your way up, I feel people are usually more comfortable introducing themselves. Please, Educate me on the gentleman standing before me. Though, while you do, allow me to pour you a drink, preferences?"

Even as Raishi walked in, he was utterly shocked by just how delicately lavish the room was compared to how it had been with the Kages of past that he had met. Every time he had entered the office in the past and with the different leaders, there was always an underlying tone of dreariness in the room, despite the different characteristics of each different Kage. Of course, the look of a man's chamber's is like a depiction of th man's inner most thoughts, character and even personality; it is a gateway into the mind of the man. All previous Kage had of course expressed themselves freely when it came to the decorations of the office, but they all seemed to lack something in them that Raishi could never describe, and even now he still couldn't. All he knew right now, was that the office of Akira Kazako was filled with what the previous decorations had none of. Looking around the office as he walked in slowly, soaking up every single bit of detail, Raishi was absolutely amazed by how different the room looked compared to the last time he was in there. There was just something so homely and wholesome about it, yet enormously devouring that made him to feel both big and small in the room.

He shifted his head slightly to the left, making sure to pick up every single bit of detail in the room and wasn't too surprised to catch the goofy grin of Arashi on the wall behind him. Ahh the pictures of past kage he thought to himself, noticing the intense picture of Kazu, his cousin, right next to Arashi. I wonder how he's doing he thought to himself, turning his head back to face the current Kage. The whisper on the underground grape vine, was that Kazu had mysteriously vanished from the village, for no reason at all after stepping own from Kage, which was quite peculiar to Raishi. It had occurred during his period of isolation, so Raishi had no power to stop it in anyway. I have to focus.. he warned himself carefully, his mind absorbing every other detail in the room at the speed of light; the seemingly luxurious rugs, the scrolls tucked neatly in the massive shelves behind Akira, the beautiful liquor cabinet that screamed longingly at Raishi, and just about every other alluring detail. A man of fine taste indeed.. he looked at Akira with a bright smile, into those bright, golden, engulfing eyes that looked at and through Raishi. He too had a warm smile on his face and he stood up from his comfortable looking seat, and extended his hands for a handshake. As Raishi shook his hand firmly, Akira then began to speak, his voice as smooth as silk and as soothing as a cold breeze on a scorching day.

As he spoke, Raishi couldn't help but feel more comfortable with this man that he had never met before, and all previous thoughts of anxiety and nervousness now melted away like butter at the sound of his voice. It now occurred to him, that the thing the other leaders seemed to lack in their offices was just the right amount of warmth. Arashi had a bit too much warmth, which was acceptable being the young age that he was appointed as head of the village, and Kazu had more of an ambiance of intensity that burned hot in his office, a feat to intimidate his opponents and show case power. Akira on the other hand, had just the right amount of warmth not only in his office, but in his voice and his actions. The man seemed to be too big for the room he was in, but not in an intimidating way. In a cosy kind of way. It was not till Akira had finished talking and prompted him to introduce himself, that the nervousness suddenly returned, although this time it was not as much as it had been. Mentally shrugging it off, Raishi began talking, his voice of a semi-casual tone.

"Good day Lord Akira. I must say, I love what you have done with the place. Also, if you did look me up I doubt you would have found much about me. I only just continued service after a long period of isolation. Oh and concerning the drink, surprise me, I'm good with almost anything"

He said this jokingly, hinting to the page that he hasn't done much for the village. Thinking about it, he hasn't really done anything at all despite his high rank in the shinobi forces. But that is going to change..

"I am Kanetsu Raishimaru, Jounin of Iwagakure. I just wanted to finally meet the new Kage that has done so much for this village. Over the past 7 years we have had 3 different Kage and none have even come close to accomplishing what you have. It's all quite impressive. Based on your achievements and how quickly you attained them, is it safe to say that you've always wanted to be Kage?"
