D-rank
Mission name: On Edge.
Mission rank: C-S.
Objective: Mission subversion.
Location: Wilderness (any country)
Reward: 410, 600, 1200 Ryo.
Mission description: Someone's doing something your employer doesn't want, and they're under a contract. Unfortunately for them, yours takes priority. Make sure they don't succeed.
Mission details: This ninja is trusted to handle a mission without backup. Therefore, you can definitely be sure they have the skill to back up their solo status. They have all tier-2 stats for this mission's rank, and are proficient in Bukijutsu or Taijutsu as well as one other specialty, with knowledge of the maximum amount of elements for their ninja rank. They can cast jutsu of up to one rank higher than themselves, and their repertoire is slightly tailored to the task at hand, though they are still well-rounded between offensive, defensive, and supplementary jutsu. If the situation requires, you may incapacitate or kill them, your employer cares not which.

Do a six-sided die roll to see which mission you're subverting, if using an NPC. Your (stereotypical) target will vary on village, though you can intervene on another Player Character's mission (of equal rank to this mission) and ignore both the spoilers below.
Who's that specialty?:
You'd better believe I'd do something weird like this:

Mission name: The Extra Mile.
Mission rank: B.
Objective: Intercept shipments.
Location: Wilderness (any country)
Reward: 370 or 450 ryo.
Mission description: They're transporting stuff. We want the stuff. Get the stuff. Do what you need to.
Mission details: The caravan is guarded by ten strongarms with B-3 statistics around the board, as well as two Sealing experts that will attempt to both stop your movements with Doton and seal your usage of chakra.

However, the reason they had such a strong guard wasn't because they were expecting you. Oh, no, there are quite a few beasties roaming the wilds that need to be warded off. The creature you encounter has at least A-3 stats, which are only bolstered by its size (at least 6m in one dimension). You can either assist them in fighting it for a reward from the guards (before double-crossing them), or attempt to make off with your target items while they're busy fighting.

Open the boxes and you'll be missing your payment. (If you only open them, you lose the option to gain a Ryo reward. If you break them, you fail the mission.)

Mission name: Hide nor Hair.
Mission rank: B.
Objective: Kidnapping.
Location: Any area that people inhabit normally.
Reward: 400 Ryo.
Mission description: Someone crossed us on their last mission. Show the Hidden Villages why they need to fear us. (Who's "us"? You don't need to know, kid.)
Mission details: They will fight back, as they're an exceptional Chuunin; with B-rank Strength, Reaction Time, and Endurance, and the rest C-3 overall, even a Toku-Jou would have difficulty completely restraining this one. They can also use the Silhouette technique, as well as two random elements, making use of all of these to try and escape. Their last-ditch effort will be the Shadow Clone technique, sending it to fight you while using that time to get away.

Mission name: Fools Suffer Gladly.
Mission rank: B.
Objective: Silencing.
Location: Any country, any location.
Reward: 410 Ryo.
Mission description: Someone got ahold of some....sensitive papers regarding the traffickings of items through the countries' borders. Let them just keep that to themselves, k?
Mission details: It turns out that this one has a Strong Will, and normal coercion methods of property damage and threats on family won't be enough. They're a goody-two-shoes that simply has to keep their village safe. You'll have to resort to torture, sadly, if you want this to work; it is more of a temporal rather than an intensity-based exercise, so the thread will have to last some time, at least 3 posts. S/he will try and rat you out even if you wring the information out of his/her mind with pain, so be prepared for people to tail you or stay in disguise the entire time.

Mission name: Damp Squib.
Mission rank: B.
Objective: Every party needs a pooper, that's why they invited you.
Location: One of the Clubs, etc. in the Hidden Villages.
Reward: 380 Ryo.
Mission description: The owners are late on their payment. Let's just make apparent what their debt exactly is: not just the money, but crossin' us. Destroy some of the more expensive audio equipment....while they've got a full house. Do it however you like. We didn't get you a ticket in, that shit's expensive.
Mission details: Do not kill or harm any civilians...intentionally. Tech blowing up can be messy, we understand. We prefer if you make it a clean job, so that no one has to get hurt, and more importantly, no one is any the wiser. If you are seen with any connection to the scene, you will be confronted either later or on-the-spot. These are top-of-the-line village-nin, definitely ANBU candidates: B-3 stats across the board and trained to track. You won't get off easy with them on your tail. If they corner you in the club, your rule on not harming civilians still stands.
