A shadow moved over the rooftops, into the direction of the great village Gates of Konohagakure. Its footsteps were heard, echoing throughout the streets where the civilians gathered to do their groceries and children playing and living through their childhood. The footsteps´ sound, however, was concealed and muted by the many voices that were created by the crowd of humans below him. He eyed the crowds from the corner of his eyes, not paying much attention to them, wanting to make sure he leaves this village behind in the past.

The great village gates got into his sights, drawing closer with each step that he took, slowly picking up the pace unconsciously. As soon as he reached the gates, he focused his chakra into his feet and ran up the gates as quickly as he could, making a big leap over the top and landing just outside the village hidden in the Leaves. The sand got kicked up into the air as soon as both of his feet hit the surface of the Earth. He took one glance back over his shoulder, towards the village, before making a long dash and continued running, until at least the village was out of his vision.

His destination was Iwagakure; the village hidden in the Rock. Without hesitation he moved himself into the direction of Iwagakure with great speeds, not showing any signs of stopping to take a break any time soon. He moved around the many trees that were located in his path and made his way through a thick, yet lively forest that was on the path towards Iwagakure. He moved himself through many weathers; rain, thunder and lightning, mist, hail and the burning sun above the clouds.

At a given time during his travel, he ran up a tree and took a leap towards the top of the tree, enhancing his range of sight. He wanted to see if he was running into the correct direction and to determine how much longer he would need to run. In the very distance, if he narrowed his eyes, he could see the beginning of the rocky grounds that led towards Iwagakure. With a slightly twisted smile plastered upon his lips, he jumped down from the tree top and into the grassy plains, slowly walking into the direction of Iwagakure, this time slowing down the pace since he was almost there.

The blades of the grass got squashed by Hao, animals running away from his presence. His black hair moved back and forth with every step that he took, his black eyes scanning the horizon the moment that he stepped out of the forest, into the light that emitted from the open field that he stepped into right now. That was his first step upon the rocky plains, leading towards the village of his destination. He wondered what he could expect from Iwagakure, he was planning to observe the village first to gain intel on what goes on there. The mountains in the distance indicated that the village indeed wasn’t far from his current location.

The wind blew across the area, the tiny rocks that were on the ground rolled from one side to the other, the clothes that Hao wore were also flowing with the flow of the wind as well as his hair. The sand that got lifted up from the ground swirled around him, some of the sand getting stuck to his clothes. His steps left behind footprints, but got almost immediately erased due to the wind moving sand around every few seconds. Within some minutes, the mountain got closer, as it was now located right in front of him. He looked from side to side, wondering where to go in order to get to the village gates. His best guess would be going up the mountain that he faced, to get a better view of what was around him at this time. Focusing his chakra to his feet, he jumped up against the mountain and ran up, reaching the top within just a few minutes. As soon as he reached the top, he looked down; his sight was incredible right now as he had already located the village. His somewhat twisted smile returned to his lips, the civilians looking like ants and hard to be seen from the height that he’s observing them from. His eyes shifted from side to side as he ran down the mountain, entering the village and going up into the crowd. This was definitely a somewhat different experience than just hanging around Konohagakure these past years, considering he grew up in Konohagakure and never actually observed this village from this close before. This definitely interested him and decided to hang around in this village for a while, for an indefinite amount of time.
