Clan History: The clan's true and accurate origin point has been lost to time, but if one were to dig deep enough they could find records detailing the stories of individuals that claimed to see past versions of themselves from former lives. These individuals could die like any other person, but legends hold true that they would rise once more as another person somewhere in the world who would follow along the same journey of enlightenment.

Nowadays these people are little more than an urban legend, and as it is hard to prove to others of their heritage, they often keep to themselves and hide their bloodline.

When a natural-born Zakuro undergoes the rebirth process, their new body is selected at random rather than literally being reborn as a baby. The soul typically gravitates towards those with issues that could be resolved through a spiritual journey.

These people will not have had a Kekkei Genkai prior to this process and probably will not realize that they've been selected as a Zakuro clan member until they notice the changes for themselves. Their personality will also stay the same, rather than giving way to the personality of their past life.

Kekkei Genkai Description: The primary abilities of Death's Connection is to connect with one's past lives. This can be used to gain information that their past self might know, or gain the ability to learn a Jutsu of their past self and utilize it as well as they could.

With the ultimate Jutsu of the clan that spawned all the legends, the user can put themselves into a state of rebirth in which their soul leaves their current body, essentially killing themselves, in order to find a new body to inhabit. In all ways this is a complete restart.

Drawbacks:

- Members of the Zakuro clan cannot use Genjutsu of any type, as using illusions will weaken their connections to their spiritual side.

- A Zakuro can't transfer their soul to a new body by ordinary means - they need to use the clan Jutsu to do so. Being killed normally will result in the permanent death of a Zakuro.

- For the first life of a Zakuro clan member, they will essentially be treated as not having any Kekkei Genkai as they have no past life to draw upon. Thus the only Kekkei Genkai Jutsu that they'll be able to use is Journey Anew.

- When a Zakuro successfully reincarnates, their new character must start as a D rank.

Hiya

Lemme just say at the get go that you won't be able to use this clan to stack different kkg jutsu onto one character, if that was your intention. The character will start out as a member of the zakuro clan and every rebirthed character will also be of the zakuro clan.

This doesn't really need to be a jutsu, as it seems like just a couple of innate functions of your kkg. Don't really see the need for replacing one of your current jutsu.

The way this jutsu is worded, the penalty of death will be mitigated by using it whenever you are in a tight spot. This changes the risk vs reward of real combat situations. However, you may keep it worded how it is if you remove the costless jutsu learning.

don't really see the point in this part of the description as you can already do all of this without it. Same with: "As an added bonus, all knowledge across all past lives will also temporarily flood the user's brain, allowing for one to know things they may not know otherwise."

"The user also gains all of the positive traits of all past lives while negating all negative traits of past lives. If positive traits overlap they stack."
