Ah, this was going to be.... interesting, to say the least. He wasn't exactly sure how he felt about this whole situation; he was having to come to terms with his last living close relative outside of his kids being gone, and finding out that Amaya had... mostly moved on. She'd found herself a new companion anyway; whether or not the relationship would last long term or not wasn't even part of the conversation yet, it was all too new and all that jazz. He didn't blame her for moving on, if anything he was happy that she even could; it was just weird. He kept expecting to see Ashi appear at anytime and start lounging over the Uchiha, or vice versa; but that was never going to happen, and that made him sad. Still, he couldn't sit and stew over the loss forever; he had to move on himself, and it was... well, it was a given that he'd want to meet the man that might be the next member of his little pack. Amaya was as good as his sister, so he had a vested interest in making sure that he liked anyone that wanted to be with her. It wasn't like he hadn't always stalked the friends of his family to a small degree; although thankfully none of them were the most social, they prefered small families and smaller social circles.

From what Amaya had told him, and his own research gave him; the guy was decent enough. Nothing super special, but then again neither was he for the longest time. He didn't know much about the clan, something about being habitual drunkards due to their clan's chakra? They sold good booze, that much he knew; so that was already a point in favor for him... what was his name... Wukong? Yeah, something like that. Seemed like a good enough kid, and he could see them getting along after a while. Most people freaked the frick out when they met him, he was... painfully, famous as he'd been a Kage, the youngest in generations there for a while; possibly even still; so there was a weird sense of disconnect between him and other people often enough. Maybe the kid wouldn't care and they'd be instant friends. Or hate each other. Whatever happened, happened; he wasn't going to run the kid off unless he was given a good reason, and he was really kinda hoping he wouldn't have a reason to. He wanted to like the kid, for Amaya's sake if nothing else.

So with all of that in mind, he'd had Amaya pass a little note along to the younger male; no one outside of the family knew that Kenta was alive, let alone back in the village, and he was going to keep it that way for a bit longer if he could help it. There was plenty of deep woods that no one allowed into; clan lands and dangerous places that no one went too, and they'd be perfect for a little... meeting. No one to bother them, plenty of room to work. He wanted to test the younger some; see how he handled himself and all that. You had to be strong to survive in this family, better to be sure now, before a problem happened later.

"Come to the clearing in the Inuzuka's woods with the waterfall that always casts the rainbow. Amaya can tell you how to get there.

-K"

Simple. Very simple. An easy spot to get to; a large meadow that was still covered by the canopy of the old forest, with a small waterfall welling from a cold spring in the rocks; it was situated just right to have a permanent rainbow at the base, as the quartz rocks were a strange type that glowed from within and always casted a strong, but still soft in a way, light that allowed the phenomena of the rainbow to exist even in the dark shadows of the forest floor. It was a good place to meet without being bothered, and gave enough space for a spar and the like. Quiet. Out of the way.

This was going to be fun.

He was waiting already, hidden in the small pond at the base of the waterfall; he was using his special version of Hiding in Water that allowed him to become one with the water so that he couldn't be detected or bothered, but it didn't stop him from know what was going on around him. Useful, extremely so. Now to wait.

Inuzuka woods? He knew where that was; he was always in those woods even though he knew he was not supposed to be there. But its not like he cared. Those Inuzuka were fast, and had amazing senses of smell, but most of them were nothing to him. He was a trickster by heart – it was in his very nature as a person, the very fiber of his being. He was always getting into something he had no business getting into, but not that he minded. His care free nature was something that kept him going, an unbreakable spark of hope and courage that never seemed to quite die or allow itself to be snuffed out, no matter the circumstances. But all this aside, why was this person attempting to have him meet him in the Inuzuka forest? Again, he the location where the meeting was requested – it was deep within the boundaries of the clan's territory.

It would not take him long to reach the desired location, emerald eyes glancing around cautiously as the male stepped into the clearing that surrounded the base of the waterfall. He was dressed in casual clothing, or as casual as he could be when he did not know what to expect for the situation; he was dressed in a white button down shirt, that was left open to show off his muscular chest and stomach; His lower half was clothed in shorts that hung low enough on his hips to allow his tail to swing freely Around his ankles were a pair of weights meant to increase certain statistics through training. Across his back was a backpack, carrying a spare change of clothing – for what reason, did not need explanation just yet.

His blonde hair was getting a bit long recently, so the male opted to tie it back into a topknot, leaving just enough of his hair free so that he would have bangs to frame his face. From that face, those emerald eyes would carefully watch the world, lookin about the area for any sign of the person who'd summoned him to this particular place. When the male say no physical signs of someone else there, he came to the conclusion that he'd arrived early. Snorting, he turned and scampered up a tree to get a better view of the area and to await the person who'd requested his presense.

Just who the fucking hell was K? What kind of name was that?

Ah, here we go. Not late, but not early, nor perfectly on time. He could work with that; the ideals of perfect punctuation had no place in his world of nature and natural pacing of life and living; but at the same time he understood that being late for the sake of being late wasn't good either. There was a grey area between the extremes that most never remained in consciously; they would be lucky sometimes to obtain it, other times fail miserably; but anyone that could stick to that prefered rhythm was going to win points in this old dog's book. Even hidden in the water as he was, he could 'see' just fine; by allowing his dispersed form to focus in the cascade of the falling water he could 'see' the entire meadow as if he was fully formed and not merged with the water like some Houzuki fishman. Amaya was dead on in explaining the younger male; as he expected really, she was a medic and a Jounin, so details were her bread and butter. Normal, save for the tail; yep. If not for that, he'd be another face on the street. Obvious physical focus, weights or no, this was a build you didn't get just by being healthy; no, there was training to reach that level, a training he didn't use himself. Kenta was fast; strong, yes, but his focus was speed; giving him a lean figure, whereas this male was bulky and strong and obviously a heavy hitter. Excellent.

Now for a little fun. He wouldn't even have to break his Hiding in Water for this, not right away anyway. The pond at the base of the spring was surprisingly deep, and there was a more than adequate supply of water for this technique without having to supplement it. He was famous for three things in his life: the youngest Kage in X generations, his obscene speed, and his usage of Water Dragon Bullet. He was a master of the ability, and he'd been called in hush voices filled with awe and fear "The Golden Water Dragon", in reference to his usage of the jutsu in combination with his strange coloration; no blond Inuzuka had been born in recent, or not so recent, memory, so he was an outlier in that manner. In the span of a hair' breath, a massive dragon made of water rose from the pond and into the air; serpentine form arching toward the sky and it's mouth gaping in a silent roar. Upon the head of the beast would rise Kenta's form, seeming to materialize from the water itself in a manner similar to that of a Water Clone; however this was his true body, his true form; reborn from the water he had been joined with for the time since he entered the clearing until the boy arrived himself.

Kenta's positioning on the dragon allowed him to 'surf' upon it's head, and in doing so he was able to take full control of the beast, controlling it like it was a puppet of some sort. With this control, he reigned in the great beast and sent it into a wide circling pattern around the edge of the clearing; the body of the dragon shedding a layer of water in order to create a wall of water which maintained itself solely on the speed of it's replenishment from the circling beast of the body. Call it showing off; he wasn't aiming to impress per say, more so to introduce himself and prove before the questions could be raised that he was who he said he was. Only Kenta used the Water Dragon Bullet jutsu in this manner, it was his signature and his favorite thing; so anyone that knew anything of him would recognize it.

After a few moments of the circling, he aimed the beast back toward the pond, having it dive back into the water harmlessly and leaving him standing peaceably upon the agitated surface as if nothing had happened and he'd been there the entire time, "So, you're Wukong. You're the kid that's got Amaya's fancy now, eh? Well, least she has good taste, physically. I trust her enough to give you some free points in other areas; let's see if my faith is well placed. While I'd like to be that arrogant bastard that just assumes that everyone knows whom he is, I have been gone for... on near a decade now, so it wouldn't surprise me if I've been forgotten entirely; from what I've seen since I came back the current and recent administrations have been hellbent on erasing my existence from history. Although to be fair, they haven't managed to get me entirely gone; I'm still on the mountain, and some people still remember my reign. As it stands, I am the... former..." he spat the word like it was sour; and it was, in many ways, sour and nasty in his mouth and he hated having to say it, "... former Hokage, otherwise known as Kenta Inuzuka. You will get to know me as the man you need to impress, if you plan on having much of a future in my pack. Amaya is not my blood, but she is as close to a sister as I have ever had, so you'll have to deal with me acting like the overprotective older brother, since Naota seems to not want to do it. Then again, Naota is a strange beast, so maybe he was just waiting for the best/worst time to do it."

His movements were easy and relaxed, a gentle amble from the water onto the land, never missing a step, never breaking his stride, "Consider this a bit of a grilling session. I want to get to know you before it comes up that I would have to break you for some reason. Who knows, I might end up liking you; which would be good for you, really. All depends on how you handle yourself. I don't take well to false faces and projected images. They bore me, frankly. Tell me about yourself, boy. Let's see if you're just insane, or if I need to be worried."

Huh. What was the point in calling him out here if the guy wasn't gonna show? He had better things to do with his time than to waste time –

What the actual frick?

There was something happening down in the base of the falls. Something weird. In the span of a hair' breath, a massive dragon made of water rose from the pond and into the air; serpentine form arching toward the sky and it's mouth gaping in a silent roar. Upon the head of the beast would rise a strange man
s form, seeming to materialize from the water itself in a manner similar to that of a Water Clone.

The frick was this shit? The young man had never seen something like this in his life before, and even with his limited knowledge of water ninjutsu, he could tell this was something that was really high level. Given the man's positioning on the dragon seemed like it allowed him to 'surf' upon it's head, and in doing so he was able to take full control of the beast, controlling it like it was a puppet of some sort. With this control, he reigned in the great beast and sent it into a wide circling pattern around the edge of the clearing; the body of the dragon shedding a layer of water in order to create a wall of water which maintained itself solely on the speed of it's replenishment from the circling beast of the body.

After a few moments of the circling, he aimed the beast back toward the pond, having it dive back into the water harmlessly and leaving him standing peaceably upon the agitated surface as if nothing had happened and he'd been there the entire time.

The actual frick, man?! This was the guy who'd sent for him? No, this had to be some kind of trick.

"So, you're Wukong. You're the kid that's got Amaya's fancy now, eh? Well, least she has good taste, physically. ...This is had to be a trick. There was no way in hell this guy was THE actual Kenta Inuzuka. That man was listed as dead, and had been for years. Wu himself remembered attending the funeral when he was younger. There was no way in hell that this guy was the same.

“Consider this a bit of a grilling session. I want to get to know you before it comes up that I would have to break you for some reason. Who knows, I might end up liking you; which would be good for you, really. All depends on how you handle yourself. I don't take well to false faces and projected images. They bore me, frankly. Hell no.

“I dun know or care who you actually are, but ifin ye think Imma finna fall for the bullshit that ya are the former Hokage, yer off ya rocker, old man. Ken'a's been dead fer years. I dunno who ya are, but you're obviously some loon with a Henge goin'. I believe not one word that spills from ya lips, liar! I suggest ya take your fancy water skills and go home, before I call ANBU to scoop ya up and give ya a nice warm jacket that makes ya hug yaself! Go on, now! Scat!” This entire thing was a fucking joke – Amaya said nothing about Kenta being alive when he spoke to her last, and he damn sure wasn't about to believe some random guy who claimed to be him. He knew what the texts books said about Kenta, but a henge was easy to pull off, as well as a impressive show with Suiton. The monkey wasn't about to fall for the ol' okie doke, no not today. “Ya hear me, mutt? Piss off!”

No doubt his words would anger this man, more than likely. But thats just how Wukong was; he smashes his way through the world with little reguard for whom was in his way, save if he care about them. If this man took offense, well then that was his fucking problem, not Wu's.

Oh yeah, he liked this kid. Ballsy, respect was given were it was due. He would have been disappointed if the monkey man hadn't called him out; it wasn't above the skill of any Jounin water specialist to pull off what he'd done, most just didn't see a reason to do it, nor did they focus on pinpoint control as he had. With the sheer amount of widespread devastation his skillset gave him, he needed that level of control to keep from drowning an entire country just by sneezing particularly forcefully. Let's see... there was what... 10 meters or so between them? Enough space, barely; but enough to work.

The fun part of about, combined with his natural speed he'd basically enough up bouncing off the top of the kid's head on the first upward step he took; anyone with any hint of training would notice the chakra gathering at his feet and the uptick of the air currents in the meadow. One of Kenta's other signature abilities, and the one that could not be faked under any circumstance... Air Skating. Literally what it sounded like; by using a mixture of Wind Chakra and a particular movement style, one could skate across a cushion of air and 'fly' through space with the greatest of ease. He covered the meters between them in roughly five steps; each movement graceful like a man skating over a level ice pond yet moving at speeds that made the brain hurt and the eyes fail; and then he was in the air and moving higher; the blast of wind from the bottom of his feet nearly enough to knock the monkey over as his feet cleared the younger's skull by roughly an inch or so.

Around and around he went, moving higher and getting faster with each flick of a leg and spin of the chakra around his feet. It was such a simple concept, but supremely difficult to learn, and even harder to use. Yep, this was why he was the only person that could use this; it was tempered and tailored to the particular way his wind chakra manifested itself, anyone else wouldn't be able to move half as fast or with anything approaching the control. He made it to the maximum height he could obtain without using another jutsu to assist his skating before allowing the jutsu to end; putting him into a split second of freefall.

That split second was enough to allow him to change his position and get his body rotating into a spiralling whirlwind of death that was the signature of his clan itself. A bit of 'proof' that he was an Inuzuka at the very least. However, he took it a step farther. One of his custom jutsu, at the head of the Tsuuga his hands were presented in a way that they couldn't be seen, but he was able to focus a ball of Wind Chakra which was treated like a contact grenade, one that released a trail of chakra from it's form and gave the Tsuuga itself an effect that wasn't replicable. Sonic Heavenly Fang; his mother's signature jutsu that he'd taught himself out of pure devotion to her, her memory, and his love for her and what she'd been and what she could have been. Everything he'd ever done had been a tribute to the family he'd lost, and the family he'd gained in the years since his family was gutted and taken from him. Even leaving as he had... it was for that; or so he'd justified originally. He wasn't sure of anything anymore.

Now that he was spinning, he had control over his descent, and he used that to his advantage; but only in so much that he'd impact the earth with Wukong just outside of the edge of the impact radius; for his safety after all. He didn't want to hurt the monkey, not yet anyway, so making sure he didn't was a bit of a priority. The howling wind, scream of the rotating ball of wind at the apex of the Tsuuga... it was well known and well described, but never replicated and never understood how it was done. He hit the earth with enough force to buckle and crater deep enough to create a new pond from the groundwater and leave the other male standing less than an inch of from the edge of the disturbed earth. Dozens of feet deep, ripped apart and scarred... Sonic Heavenly Fang was a nasty bit of work.

At the center of the impact crater stood the Inuzuka, golden hair barely mussed and not even looking like he'd used any energy to do that. However, it was very much clear that he wasn't using some sort of illusion or trickery, the earth was very much destroyed, there was definately water bubbling up to fill the new wound. "So, do I need to beat you to prove whom I am, or are we going to move on from that bit?" Hell, he didn't even feel the need to prove who he was, he was just kinda bored, and it was fun.
