Mission - Clean the Shop (Repeatable:
"Meooow umph!", came a grumpy cat like cry as the young female toppled out of bed and onto the floor. Thankfully the distance between the bed and floor was relatively short so she was devoid of any injury, but it was still a horrible wake up call all the same. Sicarius took a moment to just lay there on her back, tangled up in the multitude of blankets she had acquired, while she glared up at the ceiling as if it were some how to blame for the dream that had caused her to fall and thus be abruptly woken up. Just as her grumpiness was beginning to deplete an annoying buzzing noise caused her to jump in a startled like fashion which resulted in a quick bit of flailing.

In a sudden attempt to get free and stop the annoying buzzing before it woke up her new owners she shoved the blankets off of her and sat up. A quick shift in position and the alarm clock was in her hand and the button on top pressed as to cause it to silence once more. It took a moment for her vision to clear enough for her to read that the clock indicated it was eight o'clock on the dot. After placing the clock back down Sicarius yawned and stretched as she attempted to think of why in the world she had decided to wake up so early.

After several moments she remembered; she had snatched up a mission the previous evening that she was supposed to accomplish today and had decided to wake up early as to ensure it got done properly. Right. That was a thing. "Oh bother. Goodbye my bed. Parting is such sweet sorrow while our relationship is so solid and close.", she would state poetically to the bed, adding as she did so, "When the darkness has once again been painted across the sky I shall return to your fond embrace once more." Crazy is as crazy does, after all.

Sicarius tossed her blankets on the bed, not bothering to make it quite yet, and wandered into her bathroom where she made quick work in getting prepared for that days task. Night clothes were exchanged for her usual day clothes, her hair brushed and put into pig tails, and her face and teeth washed in a quick and yet efficient fashion. Back into her bedroom she went where after a quick moment of tugging and pulling she freed the blankets from each other and made quick work laying them all neatly on top of the mattress. Her mission scroll was then grabbed and shoes slipped onto her feet before she skipped her way out of her new home.

She wandered her way down the road and towards the shop whose task it was for her to clean. It was a bakery of all places, and even thinking about it was a quick reminder that she had forgotten to eat that morning: that was going to make her task just that much harder. No matter, she would simply do her job and use the ryo she had gathered up to pay for a tasty snack - perhaps she would even bring one back for her new owners, since she was sure they would like that. She enjoyed giving people presents after all.

Upon arriving at the bakery Sicarius walked in, the door causing the bell attached to it to ring softly. The baker who owned the shop looked over and grinned at Sicarius in greeting. "I was told a little cat girl would be coming to help me today, that must be you." He chuckled.

"How do you do? I'm Sicarius." Manners, the child had them in spades.

"Not so well, honestly. There's quite a mess in back. One of my assistants went a little overboard with their baking and caused quite a mess. Everything you'll need to clean it you will find back there. Any questions before you get started?"

"I have no questions. I'll get started right away.", Sicarius responded before heading back behind the counter so as to allow the baker to deal with the customers that were beginning to arrive for their morning donuts and muffins. Sicarius slipped through the kitchen door and into the kitchen to find one heck of a mess. It looked like a giant cake had exploded everywhere. There was half cooked batter splattered all over the inside of the oven, and both the inside and outside of the door as well as the floor. The assistant had also left his or her mess behind on the counter so that too needed cleaned up also. "I am one unhappy little kitten now.", Sicarius grumbled to herself. The only good thing about any of this was that at least it smelled good; she could have been stuck cleaning up something that smelled disgusting after all. Always had to look at the bright side of everything. Not wanting to waste anymore time she looked over to the pile of supplies...

There was a vast assortment of supplies awaiting for her use: oven cleaner, surface cleaner, disinfecting wipes, sponges and rags, a broom and even a bucket that was clearly meant to be filled with cleaning liquids. Before getting started Sicarius stood back and reassessed the situation. The oven cleaner was likely going to have to sit for a while before it would begin to work so that meant she would need to spray the oven first. From there she figured it would likely be best to work her way from the top to the bottom; this meant of course that the counters would be done first after she threw the ruined supplies away. From there she would clean the cabinets and front of the oven. If by then the oven was done then she would do that too, and end with cleaning the floor.

Sicarius grabbed the spray can of oven cleaner and gave it a good shake. Before popping off the lid she pulled her shirt collar up and over her nose so that she didn't end up inhaling any of the fumes. She opened the messy oven and gave it a good spray on all sides, the back, bottom, top, and even the oven rack. When she was sure that every inch of surface was good and coated she snapped the lid back on and put the oven cleaner back. She then turned the oven on to one hundred degrees as the oven cleaner suggested and put the timer on for twenty minutes.

With the oven door shut Sicarius lowered the collar of her shirt and then got busy throwing the ruined supplies that had still been sitting on top of the counter away. Once every last scrap was tossed into the garbage she grabbed the cleaning spray and gave the counter a good shower. While giving the cleaner a chance to set and start to work she took the bucket over to the deep sink and filled it with water until it was about a fourth of the way full. Figuring that was enough water she placed the bucket onto the counter in a spot that was already clean. She grabbed a sponge, dipped it into the water, and got to scrubbing.

Because she had allowed the product to sit on the counter for a while the cake batter came off easily enough. A few dips of her sponge to clean it off in the water ensured that the job was done properly. From there she worked her way down to the cabinets; spraying and wiping free any cake batter that had happened to splatter there.

By the time she was finishing up with the cabinets the oven timer went off. She switched to a more heavy duty sponge, turned the oven off, and then wiped the cake batter out. Thanks to the oven cleaner it wiped out with ease, and after a few dips of her sponge to keep it clean she was able to have the oven looking like new again. Once finished she threw the dirty sponge away and grabbed the other. She made quick work in sweeping the floor as best she could before she got on her hands and knees and sprayed and scrubbed the tainted area. Once completed she threw the used spongue away, dumped the water out of the bucket, and rinsed the bucket out good and thoroughly. Hands were washed next, ensuring that they were clean and no longer smelled like chemicals.

Finally, she walked back out the kitchen door and over to the baker. She waited patiently for him to finish dealing with his current customer. "Done?"

"Yes, sir. I cleaned the whole mess up." The baker nodded, poked his head into the back door to double check her work, and satisfied reached into his pocket and counted out her appropriate ryo for her job well done. Sicarius made quick work in buying herself and her owners a treat before walking off and out the door.
