The atmosphere inside the bar was ecstatic even with it being only three in the afternoon, the dance floor was full of people who had came to blow off some steam or just relax after their day or before they started whatever it was that they had planned. Godric was not one of those people he was off by himself sitting at a table in the corner close to the balcony looking out over the village. He had been in the village for the past few weeks, and yet despite the activity of the village being full of visitors for the chuunin exams as well as the opening of the Golden Horn Casino he had spoken very little to anyone else. He was a loner that's how it had always been, he never went out of his way to meet new people as he view most of them as a distraction, the few people who he had conversed with were shop owners or something of the sort. He avoided confrontation to the best of his ability as he did not wish to have too much attention drawn to him, which was why he now sat in the dark corner next to the balcony. The crowded room full of people partying and having a good time was the perfect place to stay anonymous, and if by some chance the ones looking for him showed up there the crowd would provide a great cover for him to get away. Godric slid his empty glass across the table watching as it stopped just before reaching the edge, before he turned back to look out over the village. Peace inside all of the chaos, the village was packed full of people from all over the world and yet there was still a sense of peace in the air it was a truly beautiful concept.

"Would you like another drink, sir" came a voice from behind Godric, as he turned to see who it was he saw one of the waiters standing at the other end of the table. "Sure another jack on the rocks" Godric replied with a small smile, he was by no means an alcoholic but that did not stop him from drinking on occasion he knew his limit and never let himself go over it, he had to always be on guard and alcohol clouded the mind not to mention slowed the reaction time. Godric looked out at all the people on the dance floor out having a good time with their friends some looking to get lucky others looking for their one, Godric could not help but to snicker to himself it was pathetic the only person one could rely on was themselves anyone else would just get in their way, that was his belief and that was why he sat alone in a club full of people. The waiter soon returned with Godric's drink sitting it on the table in front of him before returning to other customers, Godric took a small aip before returning his gaze out over the balcony and over the village.

The sound of glass shattering behind him drew Godric's attention back to the bar, it appeared as if two of the customers were having a dispute and one of them just broke a beer bottle and was holding it as a weapon. The two men circled each other trash talking back and forth while the rest of the people that were in the bar began to group around them making sure to keep some space from them to give the two men plenty of room to solve the dispute, but it was clear to Godric that the people were just hovering around hoping to see blood or anything that they might find exciting, the actual thought of all of the people hovering over the two men like they were begging for them to fight made Godric sick. Godric looked back out over the balcony the bar was so far above the rest of the village it did not seem as if anyone from the village below would even hear the noise let alone come to investigate it, that is unless someone called for help or did something to try to help. Drinking the last of his drink he looked back to the bar, the two men were still just circling around each other trash talking each other while the one with the broken bottle made a couple of moves with the bottle as if he was going to lunge at the man but never did. Godric let out a deep sigh before setting down his empty glass on the table he was standing next too and heading over to join the crowd surrounding the two men, pushing himself in through the crowd he was able to make it to the front and be able to see the two men up close and that was when he realized these two men were no fighters and half of their sentences do not even make sense coming out slurred or stuttered, these men were nothing but a couple of drunk civilians. "What's going on?" Godric finally asked the man standing next to him, "I am not quite sure really kid, I was at the bar and then I heard that one shouting and then the other broke the bottle" the man responded turning his attention back to the two men still trash talking each other. So this is just a drunken dispute Godric thought to himself, it was a pity that some people just could not hold their liquor or at the very least know their limit and not over do it. Godric had about all he could stand of listening to the drunken slurs of these two men, stepping forward out of the crowd and into the center of the circle that the two men were creating right in between the two of them. "Fellas, why don't we sit down and settle this like civilized people?" Godric said calmly to the two men he could hear people of the crowd crying out that he should mind his own business and there were those booing him. It seemed that the men were not interested in listening to him either both of them lunging at him, Godric kept his attention on the man with the broken bottle as he was the biggest threat to him. Godric quickly parlayed the man's attack grabbing his arm holding the bottle and quickly disarming him, all the while using the man's momentum to lunge him into the other man causing them to collide with each other knocking the both of them down to the ground, Godric looked around to the crowd that was surrounding them, "Well it's over go back to whatever you were doing." Godric said with a slight bow before turning and heading for the exit, "it's been nice but I'm out of here." he added as he got to the door and headed through it.
