Once again, there Tomoya was, mere days after his fire training with his teacher, who for some reason had gone out of his way to be super nice to him after their training session. Honestly, it didn't make much sense to him at the time, but as for now.... well, he still didn't get what the hell was going on. Maybe he was trying to be nice because he was scared of his own student's strength, or maybe it was because he was legitimately proud... like that would ever happen. What Tomoya found the strangest was that his teacher had stopped boasting so much around him.... it was honest to god worrying. He sighed and shrugged it off, today he was learning something completely different. He was a master of wind chakra, so he needed to learn more to do with it. After all, what was the point of a weapon with no ammunition? It would be like using a bow and never carrying any arrows, just plain dumb. He'd researched this on his own, and was currently sitting cross-legged on one of the podiums of the fence around the arena, looking at his page that was telling him how to do it. It was something called "Gale Palm". It seemed simple enough, however it didn't let you take inspiration from hand signs.... that meant he'd have to summon a large amount of wind chakra on his own. He sighed and started his hand-signs, creating his fire clones. He thought that, reasonably, he'd only need three clones for this. It didn't look as complicated as his dragon fire release, but it would still be easier if he added a few little helpers to give him the extra experience that would make it all the easier to learn this move. After all, normally it might take... what, four hours? Now it would only take one.

The clones milled around him, before all choosing their own podium, crossing their legs like the original Tomoya had. It was an interesting scene to be sure, a group of the same people all sitting the same way and meditating the same way. It might not be that rare in the ninja world, but it would never not be a little strange to see. They weren't just all looking the same, they were all thinking the same thing, and trying to do the same thing. Whilst meditating, they summed up a large amount of wind chakra energy into their body, and then.... clap! The first clone tried to summon his wind chakra to early, sending a small torrent of wind out from his palm, blowing a bit of dirt and dust as it flew. However, it just wasn't very strong. It was very doubtful if it'd even force someone to step back, let alone blast them off their feet. He sighed and started to build up his wind chakra again. This technique wasn't just difficult because it needed to be done without using any hand signs, but it needed to have exactly the right amount of chakra. Too little and very little would happen, but too much and he'd end up risking using up too much of his chakra pool for nothing. It was a tricky technique to master due to it needing to be exactly the right amount of chakra. The clapping carried on for another twenty minutes, as if they were clapping along with some kind of song. Eventually, by waiting almost an entire minute of building up and regulating the chakra pool Tomoya found he could create the right effect. However, there was a problem. If he was in the middle of a fight against an enemy of Sunagakure, he wouldn't have a free minute to summon this technique. If he could summon the dragon in ten seconds, surely it would be even quicker for this effect. Damn it.... this needed to be quicker, stronger, it needed to be better in every way. What was he supposed to do? How long would it take to learn what was such a simple technique

Continuing on for what seemed like an eternity, Tomoya continued to reduce the time taken for the jutsu. First, fifty seconds, then fourty, then twenty, where he got stuck for a little while. However, after another ten minutes' practice, he managed to beat it, and finally, he could do it in five seconds or less. It was an impressive number, and especially given how quick he'd learnt it, and even after learning so many other jutsus recently. Now, he just needed to be able to do it under duress. Shame that there was nobody nearby that he could practice with.... which meant the only obvious thing. He had to go find another mission from Gin. The last few he'd been on had gone surprisingly well, especially since he was doing it all alone. First he'd had to fight a band of chunin, which he REALLY wished he had moves like this for, and then he'd had to kill a band of pirates. Well, he didn't kill them per se, the villagers did. He just put them in the cremation pit in the first place. Surely this technique would help him with attacks like that in future, but first there was something he wanted to try. Standing in front of his clones, he braced himself for what he was about to do. It would either go really well, or this was going to hurt like all sorts of hell. The clone that was standing directly behind him clapped his hands, sending a torrent of wind above Tomoya which he jumped into.... and was knocked back, falling on his face onto the ground. Ouch! He sighed as he struggled up. So, this thing was NOT good for self-transport he'd need to remember that. There was one little experiment he wanted to try before he completely gave in for the day, and as another clone clapped his hands and summoned the gust, he threw a stone into it, which got propelled at seemingly impossible speeds into the wall, shattering a spot around it and embedding it in the small crater. Well..... that went better than expected.
