It was hot. Heat. Fire. That's all the girl could feel. It was her nightmare. Surrounded by red, surrounded by flames, by the light, by the burning, by the ashes, by the smoke, by the everything! She was five years old again, the walls were crumbling into ash, the embers fell from the burning walls, the ceiling was coming down in flames. She couldn't breathe; her lungs were too filled with smoke. She couldn't move; her legs were paralyzed with fear. It was happening again!

Why today? Why when she decided to go out by herself that the flames decided to follow? It had started sunny and blue. The day was nice. The forest was green and the birds were chirping. She was trying to train to better her ninja skills. She didn't even know where they had began! She had just smelled that sickly, suffocating smoke, she had seen the animals running, and she had tried running away too! But she wasn't fast enough, just like so many years ago, she wasn't strong enough to escape by herself. And now here she was again. Curled up in a ball, tightly hugging her knees, closing her eyes as if somehow she could transport herself to a better place. Tsuru couldn't believe herself, after all this time she could only sit and watch herself get eaten by the flames?! But they were too big, and she was still too small. A single little girl against an entire forest fire didn't stand a chance. Maybe if she had just been stronger, maybe if she had worked harder or done something to make herself better! But she hadn't changed at all, she was still afraid of fire.

Her dark green hair was getting singed at the ends of her braids, but that was the least of her problems. She didn't know how far the flames went or for how long they had been burning. She heard a thundering crack behind her and just turned her head to see a flaming tree limb drop to the ground. The branch fell into pieces, embers scorching the back of her neck.

The branch wasn't just a branch. Instead she saw a collapsed ceiling beam explode into embers. A piece of wood flipped off onto her arm, burning her with a scar that remained to this day. She crying, alone but there had been someone else. On that day, her cries would be heard by someone. A figure tall and comforting had surrounded her in a wall, the earth cool and even damp, different from the burning hell outside. That had been the last day she had seen her mother alive. But this day would be different! She didn't have anyone she could call out too. She looked down to her arm, it was only her memories that she had seen it get burned. Though underneath her sleeves, she knew that the scar was still there. But today she was actually still in one piece, save for a few burns here and there. And the fact that she was living her worst nightmare.

"No...!" She whispered to herself, her voice barely heard from the cracking of the fire. She shook her head rapidly, trying to get her mind to distinguish memory from reality. "I'm... Different from before!" She repeated it to herself, a mantra to find courage that hadn't been there. She stood up, her knees trembling and her entire body shaking from heat. It had been seven years ago since she had been in an inferno like this, but in that seven years she had to have changed at least a little, right? She wasn't some helpless five year old anymore, she was a Konoha shinobi! She lived in the land of Fire! How could she let herself be so scared of it?!

She began running, to where she didn't know. Everything was too devoured in flames that she couldn't tell which direction was what.  Before she knew it she was skidding to a stop, the deathly sound  of breaking wood filling her ears right in front of her. She looked above yet another tree limb was failing from the heat. Gravity seemed to pull it down slowly. As it hit the ground, it exploded in embers.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" The girl screamed louder than she had ever before. This day was different from the last time. Today while in this fiery hell, she was alone with no one to come and save her.

Waking Up, Waking Down

The young small little boy with the messy straight blonde hair and the big blue eyes and the snug little nose woke up, stretching out his small little arms and yawning with his mouth wide open before dropping his arms. He shook his head a bit before looking out the opening as the sun was annoying him, he did not feel for a hot day and just wanted to be free to return home. Where the mist was thick and the weather was always cool, though it usually became cold and then icy and it was at times like those he just wanted to go back out into the sun which came in certain minor villages in the country of water. He took a look outside before exiting the tent he had taken from a bandit who was still making muffled screams after being tied up, the proper authorities were contacted and would soon deal with that poor man. He took a walk outside slowly with bandages around his knees and a loose casual little short shorts, he wore on a loose way too large white shirt since he was too stubborn to get his size in the kid's section in the market place. As he walked around he looked through the forest wondering whether he would get a bit to eat. The pain in his knees was annoying and he needed to find a place to sit down and relax, which he soon did as the day began to pass him by. To wake up just to go back to sleep was not the way one was meant to start their day, but he was feeling lazy today so it was just simply in his nature to do so at this point in time.

Hotter than hot

The little boy could smell something burning as he woke up again, he opened his eyes as smoke was rising into the sky, he wanted to ignore it but it was blocking his view and seemed to be getting closer as he sat up. He looked around at all the trees and then noticed that further on trees were on fire, as if to speak to him and say that the day was only going to get hotter and leave him even more bothered. The flames were getting out of control as he made his way towards the source as merely putting out the edge of the fire was not going to be enough, as the scale to which this fire had spread was more than he could have ever imagined, where was the Konoha Police Force, or better yet where was the disaster relief as he climbed a nearby tree using his arms as he slowly pulled himself up, using branches that could barely hold his weight and stabbing into the tree itself with kunai in order to reach the top as he sat their his legs still too weak to support much movement as he looked on.

He then carefully travelled from tree to tree mainly using his arms and weapons to get himself around as he went deeper into the heart of the fire he felt it was just about right. He was thinking he should just put out the fire right then and there, however something caught his eye as he looked down from the trees as the fire was spreading almost as if it was destined to seal the fate of the one he saw.

A little girl who was probably around ten years old give or take, she was just a bit taller and a bit beefy compared to him. That was not what was important, but with her green hair and green eyes she seemed like a little leaf trying to run away from a flame that devoured trees and ate leaves. He watched her struggle as he held back his assault knowing he could not simply act as he wanted to now that their was a casualty. It looked like she was about to get away when she skid to a stop as a tree branch fell and blocked her path, but to make things worse as another branch fell from the heat of the fire burning through the wood. The charcoal smell of burning ash as it seemed this was the end of this little girl's life, she was nothing of him and it did not matter what happened to her.
As he watched the third branch fell exploding into embers the girl screamed as he sighed, he had seen enough and could not simply leave her to die. As she did not seem to be paying attention to her surroundings he did something he should not have as he slid down the tree and dashed forth at full speed as a tree right beside her began to fall, he jumped through the flames at high speed as his arms and legs got burnt slightly before he used lightning chakra to explode the tree before it could hit her as light would flash above her as the wood would fly into all directions as he would trip and crash before her. This was reckless, but it was nothing he could not handle without even giving her a chance to take in the situation he just told her two words in his very young little voice.

"Sit still"

A tree on fire in a world so hot, A boy drenched in blood in a world she may have forgot

The boy performed hand seals before backing away as he stood nearly right on top of her as he finished them he seemed to mumble something as a large whirling vortex of watery death appeared as the flames dashed towards him in order to close the gap that was created upon him entering. As the fire struck the water steam uplifted into the air as the boy stood shaky his legs barely able to brace the pain. However there were two vortexes of water one that shielded them from the heat of the flames and a second one that rose up into the sky before crashing down hard travelling over the entire forest as the boy kept his focus. He moved his arms to guys the waters as the waves crashed hitting the trees out of the way and dousing the flames as the water spread throughout the entire forest. The boy had blood dripping from his knees and his arms as skin fell from his flesh as he kept going as the flames raged on. Then the unexpected happened as a large tree was falling straight for them, he could barely pull back the waves in time as the shield stopped the tree for a moment as the flames were gone in that seeming instant he had to keep his water barrier up in order to keep the waters of his own technique crashing down on them. His waves crashed hard destroying the tree as clouds began forming in the sky as the heat was still being cooled down, the fire had ended. However maintaining this would normally be easy, but his battle with his best friend in Konoha had left him somewhat drained and weak. He had not fully recovered and his knees were beginning to buckle under the pressure. Then after his skilful display and looking around at the trees which now were stable as he levelled part of the area to prevent any trees from falling on them, he began to feel a bit sick as he fell to his knees and then held his arms out to both sides as they were now within a hollow in the water as they were still deep within water which was still taking its time to lower itself down.

"I can not hold this up much longer, are you ready to hold your breath?" as he looked to her his eyes showed great fatigue with slight bags under his eyes and a swelling due to some embers having hit him in the eyes as he was flinching. How long he could hold up the water and keep things safe was unclear but in the end he was going to be a hero, even if it was only for today.

The fire was only getting worse, everywhere around her she heard the sound of popping embers, the cracking of burning wood. Even with the falling tree limb from before, it wouldn't be the last she would encounter. There was another sound of cracking wood, she turned go see a tree falling with the flames.

She was left speechless though as a figure materialized out of no where to her rescue. He flew across her line of sight almost faster than her green eyes could follow. In an instant the falling tree was turned into a flash of light and sent into small wooden chips that flew everywhere. Tsuru was forced to close her wyes and cover in head to avoid being hit by flying shrpanel.

The figure crash landed on the ground in front of her.  Tsu was surprised to see a very frail looking boy, who appeared not much older than herself. His blonde hair and tired blue eyes gave him a look of aura of experience that Tsuru herself had seen rarely in shinobi. He was older than he looked, and from the way he disintegrated the tree from earlier, more powerful than his frail appearance. He stood up, albeit slowly. He was most likely injured from a previous matter, though Tsuru could also see that his arms and legs were burn slightly from the flames. Where had he come from? What was he doing here? Why was he saving me? How bad were his injuries? Could I do anything to help?

Tsuru felt the surge of questions in her head, still very much confused and afraid at the current situation. Her thoughts not only went to her safety, but to the stranger before her. Now both were in the heart of the inferno, how could either of them escape alone?! They were both trapped in the heat, they were going to suffocate from the ash that filled their lungs! They would be burned alive as the entombed them in fire! She would die, her corpse nothing but a pile of ash... She—

"Sit still."

He only stated two words. Two simple words, but somehow with just that she knew she was going to be alright. For a moment she didn't see the blonde boy in front of her.  She saw someone tall, her brown hair slightly matted by sweat, her clothes singed by the flames, yet her smile was still comforting. Her entire image a relief from the fire. She turned, just as the boy did and performed a series of hand signals, whispering a few words that couldn't be heard over the roaring of the flames. Her silhouette faded away as the blonde's Suiton jutsu formed a giant whirlpool of water above them.

Tsuru noticed the blood literally covering the boys limbs as he struggled in guiding the small lake's worth of water above them.  A part came down to encase them both in a water bubble, while with the other he let fall down onto the burning forest below. Unexpectedly, a large tree fell on top of their water shield, but the pulled through by directed the waves to sweep the tree away. With the waves that formed, he doused the entire area of flames, purging the inferno from the forest. The force of the waves of water leveled the area around them, and encased them both in a small lake. The boy was weakened more than ever before, he fell to his bloody knees straining to keep up the water bubble that protected them both from his own Suiton Jutsu's creation.

"I can not hold this up much longer, are you ready to hold your breath?" He looked to her with bags under his swollen eyes. Just seeing his face made Tsu want to cry even more, her faced already tear stained from the ashes. He had saved her life and she could never repay him for that. She could only nod in response, still to stunned to even speak. Her attempts to stop crying ended abruptly as she simply could not stop her own jumbled emotions of relief, gratefulness, and still present state of fear. Though the fire was gone, she could not stop herself shaking, nor could she prevent the memories of the aftermath of an eerily similar incident long ago.

A small green haired girl sat by herself in a waiting chair in a typical hospital waiting room. She wore a simple violet dress, her dark green hair tied in a single braid that went down her back. On her right forearm there was a bandage that covered most of it. A few bandaged covered her legs, but for the most part she seemed at peace. In her lap was a sleeping baby in a blanket. His hair was also green, though it appeared a shaggy mess on top of his head.  The small girls green eyes were downcast, her feet swinging up and down as they were too short to reach the floor. Through the window sunbeams shown into the building, though the lonely girl didn't seem to notice nicety of the weather.

The door down the hallway opened with a click, and then closed with a quieter one. The little green haired girl looked down and up at the footsteps that came down the hallway. They belonged to an older man, and though he was actually still very young, he walked with the weight of loss on his shoulders. He had green hair like the girl and the baby, his tied in four braids that went down to his waist. He wore the flack jacket of a Konoha shinobi well, and his fore head protector was simply hanging around his neck. Unlike the girl's, his eyes were a dark brown, like the color of tree bark.

He knelt down in front of the girl whose eyes and hair were the color of leaves. The baby boy still sleeping in her arms. He gently took one of her small hands in his and started to say some words. The jounin sadly himself was not very good at emotional subjects such as this, and he often paused every few words to prevent himself from crying.

"Tsuru... I'm very sorry to tell you this but... Hanako is... Your mother is..."

Gone.

Tsuru herself fell to her knees, she just cried in front of the bloodied blonde. "I... I... Thank you. Thank you!" The few words were all she could force ou t of herself as she prepared to get drenched from the water that would soon fall into them both.

Sleeping Awake

"Ren, Ren...". A soft knock is heard on the door, before the door is broken open as an angry old lady stands by the door. "Ren, wake up this instant you are going to be late.", as the small boy woke up rubbing his eyes softly he asked her what was wrong. "The house is burning down and if you do not fetch the bucket and start throwing some water on it we all going to turn to ashes." The boy was confused before consciousness returned as the boy could not see any flames, but he saw a crashing of water about to collapse as he remembered his jutsu as the water was lowering itself slowly both the little blonde haired boy and the green haired and green eyed weird small girl were covered in water.

He did not understand why she was on her knees and he thought it looked like she was crying as he activated his misty eyes to allow him to continue to see under the water as she was next to him. He remembered some vague words of thank you and some other words of him needing to get out of bed. He was not ready to leave the hospital so soon as this was all Risu's fault. They were submerged and he did not want her to drown as he thought of a way for them to escape this as he was tired. He focused as the water began to become a bit less dense but still weighted down on them. He then fell back a bit against her as he formed a few more seals and used another jutsu as he created another little pocket for them to breath in again, wondering if she had waited long as he asked her. "Are you okay?"

Just as Tsu ended her thanks, she took a deep breath and braced herself for that hundreds of gallons of water that encased both herself and the blonde boy. His blue teal eyes seemed distracted as they both were surrounded by a watery world. Tsuru held her breath for as long as she could, but her lungs, already strained from smoke, were demanding oxygen. Just as she thought she wouldn't be able to keep from gasping out for air, The blonde boy made a few more hand seals, the water around them seemed lighten off the pressured. With just a few more hand seals , he formed another air bubble around them. Tsu took in a giant breath as soon as she could, coughing heavily from the smoke in her lungs. The water was slowly going down, but it still was far from being completely gone. The boy, exhausted from using such high level jutsu to put out a forest fire plus trying to keep them both alive from his own Suiton jutsus, had to lean on the kneeling green haired girl for support.

"Are you Okay?" He asked her. Tsu was astonished at the fact that even with himself in such horrible condition, he put his concern for her safety over his own. The water had washed away most of the blood from his limbs, hut that hadnt stopped any new bleeding from happening. He was already so small and frail appearing to begin with, the green haired girl couldn't imagine how he could have even lasted that long at controlling such high level jutsu.

"Ah... I think you're in worse shape than I am!" Tsu exclaimed in worry over the blonde's injuries. She herself only had minor burns from the fire. His body too had been exposed to the flames, but it was his overexerted bleeding limbs she worried about most. "Here, I-I know a little medical Ninjutsu, not a lot but... every little bit should help until you can get to a hospital." Her voice was still shaking a bit from the entire situation, but it wasn't the time to be afraid. It was thanks to this blonde boy that the flames were gone and that she was alive. It was the least she could do, in fact it was all she could do at the moment.

"Try not to move too much... Um, keep your weight up against me." Tsuru took a few more deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. She sat back on her feet, allowing the blonde's body to lay back on her knees, but also careful that he could maintain the current air bubble around them. She concentrated healing chakra into her hands and gently reached to carefully place her palms just above his legs. The minor burns would heal first, as for the bleeding and other exertions on his body, Tsuru wasn't sure if she was skilled enough to heal them.

She had a strange look on her face as he squinted his eyes, the strain of running into a fire knowing that he was not suited for it, but if he had taken the time to protect himself correctly what would have happened to this girl. He did not want to simply watch as fire takes away all those he loved, in a sense the fire itself took Risu away from him and behind the fire is the will burning from a thousand leaves.

It was taking nearly everything he had to stay focused as he needed to hold out until his jutsu kicked in to clear up the location as she began shouting him as his ears could just hear fragments of the word think shape am bad or some other jibberish as he tried to keep track of his surroundings. He noticed she had minor burns as he felt like he failed her in a sense, but he was not perfect even though deep down he wanted to be far more than what he was. It was then that he remembered how weak he used to be and all the times he had been protected, while this time he tried to change it. He was going to change his destiny and change himself.

using her knees for support as he focused on she began to heal him, but the heals took longer than she would expect as his body showed that it was not only resistant to healing in general but it also suffered more greatly from burns as expected. it was unclear whether she could heal him in time as his consciousness began to fade the water began to waver. However something more mysterious and somewhat mystical had happened, as she was healing him and he was not in a condition to see what had happened. Inside this massive lake of water were fish, but not just any fish however these were fish who remained dormant and underground for days when there would be floods of water or strong rains as the fish were swimming around the danger did not seem as bad as it seemed more like they were in an aquarium. Even though one wrong move could result in them being crushed to death by the water not to mention that for some reason one of the fish in the water was about three meters long and one meter wide. What mutated creation was this and would they be safe as this beast of a fish swam overhead and then began circling them. The danger was getting worse and the boy was getting tired.

Would they be able to make it or will the waters soon come crashing down to put the final chapter in this story to an end. Only time would tell.

Uh... it's not working?! Even as she tried healing him, her medical Ninjutsu seemed to be hardly having an effect, if it was working at all! "Not good. Not good!" Tsuru muttered with worry. To further her panic, it appeared as if the surface burns actually were worse than what she originally thought. Was something wrong with her technique? No, she was doing it exactly as she practiced so many times before! Wait.. Is his body different? She could hardly recall but there was something the medical sensei had said. Some shinobi may resist being healed with medical Ninjutsu. This trait is called... Pharmaceu... Pharmaco... Pharmaci... Oh Whatever! This blonde boy had to have that certain condition, whatever it happened to be called.

But the girl had no time to think up another way to heal the blonde, he was fading fast and the air pocket that surrounded them began shrinking as he struggled to stay away. Tsuru held him closer, trying to gently shake him awake. "Uh... Get up! Get up please!" Tsuru could feel the water surround her ankles, though the cold was pleasant to the burns on her skin, it wouldn't be for long if their air pocket collapsed. Oh, please please please! Get up!"

Her pleas soon faded too, as she sensed something around them. In the blue water, somehow, impossibly, supernaturally the pair was surrounded by strange fish like creatures, circling around their shrinking air bubble. And none looked very friendly. There was about half a dozen, one wide by three meters long. "Scary fishes... Scary fishes!!" [/color]Tsuru panicked further and immediately began nudging the blonde in her arms a little bit harder. The green haired girl felt water creep onto the back of her neck. Her green eyes widening in terror, unsure of whether she could trust him to stay awake, she took a deep breath in.

With on hand still on the blondes body, the green haired girl reached her other to the ground. Out from the bottom of the newly made water floor, a dozen timber logs shot up surrounding them both. Usually this jutsu was used to keep people in, but in this case the girl was using it to keep some friendly appearing fish out.

The fish, seeing the wooden cage appear, were curious by the sight. Tsuru peaked out, looking up to the light reflecting from the surface of the water, it looked about almost  10 Meters to the surface! The fish themselves came closer to the cage, one even brave enough to swash its side to the wooden cell. Surprised, Tsuru jumped to the middle, and much to her surprise the wooden structure moved a little more than she would have suspected. She looked around to the water, the fish weren't coming closer, they were getting closer the monsters! The entire structure, as it was made of timber, actually was buoyant enough to make itself float towards the surface.  The green haired girl would've celebrated more those srange aqautic creatures weren't so interested in the floating upwards structure, each fish slashing its side to the cage, making the ride a bumpy way up. She held the blonde boy closer, hoping they would get to the air before the fish would break the cage.

"You pitiful child, you no match for me, you think you stand a chance against me." as the snake of a woman looked down at him as he reached out to her, before the ground beneath him turned to water as the ripples of his footsteps pressed on as the waters flowing ripple effect went around as he ran faster and faster as he began to slow down as the water became heavy. She was right before him when a pain stung in his legs as he looked down as snakes rose up from under the water. They wrapped themselves around his legs before rising up as they began to surround his body. He looked towards her as he shouted out.

"Risu-ne, I never even got to tell you." as the snakes began to lose their grip and pull away from him as the snake lady became silent as she stood there. Ripples flowed from where he stood as he looked to her with tears in his eyes as he began to cry. "I love you, Risu-ne!" as he shouted it out the water around him swirled around shredding the snakes apart as the water all around them rose up to the sky as it began to gather and form the moon as the woman stood there as a grass field grew beneath their feet up until it reached to their knees.

As she stood there with a confused look on her face as he stood their her face became shrouded behind a mask as the boy's hair changed and his tears went from being ordinary tears to being tears of blood and water. The Moon which had formed came crashing down as a waterfall destroying Orochi Risu, the woman he loved and the last woman he might love.

"I love you, but you are a weakness I can not have" as he said that the woman who had blocked the waters surround by large snakes of mud as he broke through all those and cut her down with his blade Masamune. "Goodbye Risu-ne"

Dream Sequence Ended

He noticed they were in a wooden cage as he was healed a bit as he realised things were dangerous, he heard something breaking through the wood as he slapped both hands to his face to wake himself up before leaning back against her even harder as he spoke.

"Hold me please, this might have a bit of a kick"

He focused as a barrier of lightning surrounded both of them as the fish attacked breaking through the wood and bashing full force as it became electrocuted before he performed his second jutsu. A lightning blast shaped like a dragon struck the water killing all the fish as the water exploded into the sky as they fell with the girl behind him how she would deal with the kick was up to her, but he did not have much left as his consciousness was fading again as his arms would drop down to his sides.

The fish or aquatic monstes more like it, were bashing the side of the wooden cell harder and harder. The blonde boy in her arms seemed nigh unconscious as she held him closer, their air pocket almost nonexistent. Suddenly he shook his head, slapping his face with his hands to wake himself. He pushed his small body against her with words of warning.

"Hold me please, this might have a bit of a kick" At his request, Tsuru placed her arms around his chest. Hugging him to her chest, the wooden make shift shark cage was broken to pieces by one of the creatures. The blonde performed another jutsu, this time a Raiton Technique. A barrier of electricity surrounded the pair, it exploded in the water, electrocuting the watery beast. Within seconds, the blonde began his second jutsu, a lightening bolt in the animated shape of a dragon bolted to the rest of the creatures, conducting itself easily thought the water, immediately bringing the water monsters to their end. His lightening dragon exploded around them, causing a massive jet of water, shooting both him and the girl into the air. Tsuru held onto the blonde as tight as she could as she felt the air rush past them both.

They were falling... Falling?! The blonde's arms went down, his conscience fading once again. Drops of water that came from the explosion rushed past them to the surface, of which Tsuru would gladly not hit as hard as she was falling. But what could the girl do? She didn't know any jutsu that could propel them upwards or even any that could make the landing softer... It was still just water, but it would hurt just like concrete at their speed. Besides, there was no way she was going to able to swim with an unconscious boy.

I've... Got it! In their descent, Tsuru flipped her legs below her, so that her feet would touch the water first. She concentrated chakra into the bottom of her feet and with the blonde now faint in her arms, she made a splash landing onto the surface of the water. "Ah... Woaah!" Tsuru yelled out loud as she tried to get her balance on the surface of the water. From her moment of the fall, she created a few small waves, but after a few moments the water soon calmed. The green haired girl breathed a huge sigh of relief now finally (hopefully) safe from any more danger.

She looked up to the sky, currently covered with dark grey clouds. Around her as well, the surface of the water seemed to jump with each raindrop that fell. It was a gentle shower that calmed the once chaotic blazoned forest, that now currently was a small lake thanks to the powerful jutsus of the small blonde boy in her arms.

He was so small, and so frail looking, and he was a lot lighter than he looked too. She was holding him in a bridal style carry now, his closed eyes made his sleeping peaceful. Ah... He looks so cute! It reminded her of another small boy she used to hold a lot in her arms, his sleeping face seemed to change into the face of her little brother....

"Careful, Tsu, he's really small." A woman with light blonde, almost white hair knelt down in front her daughter. A small girl with green hair, tied in a single long braid was sitting on a wooden bench in a garden of flowers. It was springtime, the rainbow of flowers were blooming brightly, butterflies and bees darted around the flower garden. The small girl had a smaller child in her lap wrapped in a blanket. It was boy with hair as green as hers, though his was nothing more than a little green mess. He was sleeping, and every few moments he stirred slightly.

"Yeah... He is really tiny. He really is my little brother." Her eyes, a dark green like the leaves, stared curiously at the baby in her arms. She looked up back to the woman, her eyes matched with the same shade of green.

"Yep, and you're his Neechan." The older woman replied, her finger pointing at the small green haired girl. "That means you have to take good care of him and watch over him, especially when Mommy and Daddy both aren't around." She got up from her knees and sat down on the bench beside her two children. Her light blue sundress matched the light pink of her daughter. She smiled and gently put her arm around the girl, pulling her close to her side. "But you won't have to worry about that for a while. Your Daddy and I don't plan on being gone for a long time."

The green haired girl only blinked once. "But... Daddy's away right now."

"But Daddy, even when he's gone, always come back, remember that. And I'm right here now aren't I?" The older woman playfully grinned. She pointed to herself, assuring the child that she wasn't going anywhere for the time being.

"Yeah! You are!" Her daughter answered with a smile. She leaned her head against the blonde's side, happy to just spend time with her mother. Suddenly, the bundle of blankets in her lap stirred. The smaller boy was waking up from his nap. He opened his eyes, a dark chocolate brown. He stared up at the older girl, his eyes sleepy yet curious.

Hello, Ruto.

The memory melted away as the raindrops fell upon the same green haired girl, now older but still with a small boy in her arms. "I wonder what your name is." She whispered, just pondering who exactly he was.

Dead
The small boy asleep in the arms of a stranger, a young girl holding him in her arms as the rain that had fell began to clear as the boy began to open his eyes as the water that formed the lake beneath them began to disappear as they would sink slowly towards the ground as the water sank and the clouds began to vanish for a moment as the sunlight burst through the clouds and shed its light upon the young boy and the young girl as well. The sky was not clear for long as he looked into her eyes a bit dilarius.

"Risu...ne...." as a tears shed from his eyes as they ran down his face as his forehead leaned towards her as he sat up before hugging her. "I miss you, Risu-ne" as he then fell asleep hugging her as a thick mist began to form around them as it was nearly impossible to see anything other than this boy in her arms. How they would be was a different story but soon voices could be heard and dogs barking.

"People, we need to search for anyone who might still be out there, the fire is gone and so is the flood, there was a girl still left in this area we need to hurry and find her. Someone also sighted a boy in these parts as well, be careful in this mist and everyone stick together this is no ordinary mist!!" As the rescue relief squad had finally arrived after saving several other civilians and animals from the disaster, the fire was the main disaster while the water merely knocked out most while some suffered broken bones and other harsh ailments. This girl was alone in a mist in which no one can see, with a boy that was just happy to be, useful for once.

OOC INFO : I think my next post will be my last, so got out some rescue npc's hehe oh and this is my hidden mist technique it uses all the water in the area and makes a dense mist that blocks chakra sensing. I cast it earlier but the technique has a delay lols, hope that was fun anyways maybe one or two more posts then we end it. Do not want it dragging on for too long lols

Around the pair of two small strangers, sunlight seemed to suddenly burst through the clouds. The green haired girl looked up, but the sunbeams would not last for long.

"Risu...ne...." The blonde in her arms suddenly called out weakly. Tears flooded his blue green eyes as he suddenly began hugging the girl. "I miss you, Risu-ne" A thick mist began forming around them, thicker than any Tsuru had been in before, but she did little to notice it as she could only wonder who the blonde boy was calling out too. Still, now awkwardly holding on to him as he as hugging her close.

At the sound of dogs barking, Tsu nearly jumped out of her skin. It the voices of a long awaited rescue squad that broke the silence of the mist. The water was already going down as now she and the boy were no longer alone. "People, we need to search for anyone who might still be out there, the fire is gone and so is the flood, there was a girl still left in this area we need to hurry and find her. Someone also sighted a boy in these parts as well, be careful in this mist and everyone stick together this is no ordinary mist!!"

No ordinary mist? Tsuru repeated what she had heard the voices say. She looked to the boy hugging her, His doing again? It was the only answer. Just how powerful the small blonde could be was something the green haired girl could barely imagine, but right now they were in dire need of help.

"Over here! Um, please help us!" The girl called out frantically, she was immediately answered by the sounds of dogs barking and the trudging of footsteps through the mud.

"We found them!" Figures of people materialized in the mist, several of whom wore konoha flack jackets and medical symbols. The girl was first greeted by a rather large ninja dog, probably of the Inazuka clan.

"Please, help him first!" Tsuru made sure to give the blonde as much medical aide as he needed. And gently an older medical nin took the blonde out of her arms.

"Come on kid, everything's okay now. You need some first aid too." Another member of the relief squad came to her side, as she looked around several of the ninja were already  fading away into the thick fog, but not the medical nin that was carrying the blonde.

"Wait!" Without thinking, the green haired girl ran to the blonde boy once again. She still hadn't known a thing about him besides his awesome power that had defeated a forest fire and a surge of monsterous fish. She took one of his small hands in her own, the girl already exhausted from the overwhelming events was shaking slightly as she tried to think up something to give to the boy who saved her life.

"Please, when he wakes up. Tell him that girl he saved was Tsuru Shokubutsusou..." Just out her palms, a small wooden block formed in the shape of  a leaf, curled around it were small vines. "Of the Senju Clan." She closed the boy's hand around the wooden figurine, her own vision blackening at the edges from total exhaustion. She heard more voices, a few dog barks, the feeling of a burning heat returned to the surface of her skin, but her conscious could only fade. A ninja hound just caught her on the back to take her away as she fell asleep.

Dead
He woke up again, in the hospital as the nurse began to shout at him as he tried to block out the noise. Then someone interrupted and spoke to the boy as she motioned for them to have some alone time.

"Master Ren, you are needed back in your home village this instant. Stop playing around and get a move on we have important matters to discuss on the details of your new mission." He sighed as he looked down unsure of everything as he was left with a note which linked him to the girl he saved who in exchange returned the favour. He would not forget this and he had many things he would have too soon discuss with the leader of his village. It had been a long five years but it was all worth it in the end, now that he had learnt the truth.
