Toshiko had been within the village of kirigakure for some time now. Nothing insane, but he'd been there at least 5 days. His long lasting travel outside of his home village of kirigakure had been going on for months now. This was his final stop, and he was pretty sure that he was being expected to return soon. While he was in kirigakure, he had no further intentions but to expand his knowledge of the shinobi world by examining everything that he came across, and training his skills in the foreign area. His plans to do nothing but this would be quickly interrupted, as one day he found himself being notified with mission directories from within the village. It was somewhat disheartening. His one and only purpose of traveling was for the betterment of his own physical and intellectual capabilities. He had absolutely no issue with assisting the village that was being kind enough to allow him to reside there. But still, it was still a bit irritating for him to have to miss out upon a day of training simply for this reason. Despite that, he knew that he didn't have much of a choice, nor would he attempt to dispute this matter. A job was a job, and he knew he'd have to get it done. A B rank mission? A mission of this rank wouldn't prove to be too difficult. A challenge of course, but nothing that Toshiko couldn't handle. At first, before getting complete detail Toshiko assumed it to be nothing more than the average B rank, but once he got full details included to describe what it was that he was doing, he knew it'd be way more than that. This mission was one of a proportion that he'd never really experienced before. The details of the mission that he'd been left with stated he'd have to do something crazy. Burn down a bridge leading into the village.

What was the purpose behind that? Toshiko had no clue. He figured that they'd have to have a very good reason to want to defile the entrances to their own village. Were they trying to keep someone or something out? Toshiko would soon be able to find out. He was warned that there was a moderate possibility of opposition from other individuals either from within, or outside of the village. Toshiko hoped it wouldn't come down to this. All he was looking for was a simple and efficient mission that he could go through with smoothly. While he always enjoyed a fun and well handled fight or altercation to show his skill, if it could have been avoided then he'd chose the latter. There was no reason behind reprimanding people simply due to them protecting a bridge. After receiving the mission details, he head out to the border of kirigakure, moving directly towards the bridge of interest that was the point of destruction. It took him a bit of time to get through the large village, passing through various crowds of people along the long street that would lead toward the front gates of kirigakure. The village was actually not so much different than Konohagakure. Apart from the seemingly dull temperature and environment and the sometimes different casual attire, Kirigakure and it's inhabitants reminded him directly of konoha. It also made him somewhat homesick. He was enjoying his time outside of his home village, but being away from it for such a long time made it even more difficult for him to travel around each day. Months away from home just made him more eager to go back. No matter how much stronger he was getting, or what he was doing, The will of fire was always within him. He couldn't wait to return to his home to show those of his village his new found skills.

After Walking for a half an hour at the same slow, steady pace, he found himself present in front of the front gates of kirigakure. Now all that was left was to head out tot he border. He waited as the front doors opened for him by the watch guards that guarded over the gates on a daily basis to make sure no intruders were capable of invading the village. He stepped out in a large, open pasture with arrays of trees upon each side of him. He was nearing the border at this point, but still had a ways to go as it was made clear to him that this mission would not be easy. It was taking him an extended period of time simply to make it there, so actually doing away with the bridge would be an even tougher challenge that he'd be forced to face one way or another. He wondered what would await him once he got to his location. If there were actually several individuals opposed to the idea of the bridge being gone, he wondered why. The villagers and legal travelers would have absolutely no negative correlation with this decision. The only logical assumption left to make would be the assumption that the people there to oppose him would be criminals. Smugglers, arms dealers. Those who participated in illegal criminal activities to get by. Maybe wanting to utilize the bridge as a route for them to smuggle things in and out of kirigakure. If that was the case, Toshiko had absolutely no time to waste with this mission. He'd have to get there fast, and then dispose of the bridge and those who were there to attempt to prevent him from doing so. he would try to the best of his ability not to harm them, and obviously wouldn't even begin to consider taking their lives. He'd try talking at first, and if that didn't work, he'd have to use physical force. There was no more time left to lose. He looked forward towards the destination of the border of the village, and then ran forward at full burst speed. He'd find the bridge easily if he kept going straight.

Several moments of running at his fastest alone was enough to allow him to cover the distance to the end of the road and then the outer districts of the village. He saw the bridge directly in front of him. He could see a few individuals. Some looked somewhat frail and wrinkled. In front of them was a plethora of people. About 8 of them, all standing next to each other to form a straight line across the entirety of the width of the bridge. It stretched from one side to the other, revealing each person's physical features in great detail. Each one of the 8 individuals could easily be seen to be middle aged, each one at least 35 if not older. each one had a great beard and mustache, scars upon their faces, and wore immense chest armor. 4 of the 8 had weapons in their hands that ranged from Katanas to cutlasses, and the other 4 simply stood at the ready to fight. Bukijutsu and Taijutsu users. 8 of them? Toshiko didn't know whether or not he'd be able to take them, but he knew for a fact that he'd have to try. He knew that fighting was never the first option, so he simply stood in front of the group of eight as they stood at the ready to fight, preparing himself for a calm and collective way to solve the issue.

"Who is this? They sent a fuckin kid to get rid of the route? Hey Kid! Beat it. If you know what's good for ya."

Toshiko cringed at the sound of the words. He hated when individuals demeaned him and his skill simply to him appearing to be a child. Despite this, he didn't let his anger get the best of him, kept himself calm, and then spoke.

"Excuse me. I mean no trouble whatsoever. I was sent here by the village of kirigakure to dispose of this bridge completely. I don't know what your purposes of using it are, but i can assure you that-
"

"I can assure you that me and my boys will kick your fucking teeth in if you don't get the fuck out of here right now."

That was it. Toshiko sighed, slowly shook his head, and then opened his mouth speaking in a calm, yet condescending tone.

"If you wish. Just don't say that i didn't give you a choice."

After speaking those words, he rushed forward in a single burst moving at completely full speed. The mercenaries could barely see him coming. He went towards the four standing together with weapons in their hands, Aiming a hardened roundhouse kick for the one on the far right end. The kick connected with his face, sending him toppling over the bridge and into the water below. He wasn't harmed of course. Well, at least not physically. The only thing that had been wounded had been his pride. Toshiko jumped towards the side of the bridge, and then hopped back forward using it as a launching pad to send him flying directly towards the next two weapon wielders. One of them swung their blade him, and Toshiko ducked underneath, grabbing his arm and twisting it as he kneed him in the stomach. The man began to spit up, and then fell to the ground in agony. Toshiko grabbed him up by the arm, sent him spinning around in a circle, knocking him into the two final bukijutsu users. the Three went flying as Toshiko let go of the one he'd been swinging around, and fell off the side of the bridge into the water below. As this happened, one of the remaining four went for Toshiko's blind spot, aiming a punch at the back of his head as Toshiko focused on the man in front of him. Toshiko turned around just in time, ducking underneath the fist and allowing it to strike the man in front of him. He then grabbed them both, one in each arm, and then slammed then into the side of the bridge, kneeing them both in the face and causing them to topple over into the water as the knee strike caused their noses to begin bleeding. They were in a daze, but they'd make it. The final two came through with simultaneous blows, Of which Toshiko kept up with. Even with his blind spot at the right side of his eye due to the eye patch, He still could somewhat feel the movements of others. As one of them went to kick him in the face, Toshiko grabed his leg, twisted it around to send him toppling to the ground, and then kicked him over the edge. The final one got Toshiko by surprise, kicking him in the ear as Toshiko was knocking the other one off the bridge. Toshiko yelled out in pain as the man proceeded to follow through with two more blows to the chest. They were abrupt and powerful, causing toshiko to gasp for air due to having the wind knocked out of him. The man then pulled out a kunai, swinging it directly at Toshiko's forehead. Toshiko quickly came back to his senses, Gripping the hand that contained the kunai that would have ended his life. Putting so much force in it that the man's knuckles began to swell up. He then yanked him upwards, throwing him up into the sky. Toshiko jumped up, and then dropkicked the man back down towards the earth. He hit his back on the side of the bridge, and then fell off into the water, being lost within the current. Toshiko landed on the ground, panting from his display of power. Did he really manage to take out all four on his own? That was unheard of. He never thought he'd even begin to be capable of doing anything along the lines of that. he allowed the two men who were the bridge builders to place the gasoline all over the bridge as they had originally intended. After they were done doing so, The made their way away from the bridge. Toshiko would then inhale deeply, filling his mouth with katon chakra, and then exhale a stream of fire from his mouth. It instantaneously engulfed the bridge, setitng it ablaze. Well. That wasn't so easy. But Toshiko had got the mission completed. With the mission underneath his belt, Toshiko left the area with a smile on his face, ready to get back his intended training.
