Spoiler:

It wasn't exactly the best type of mission Yoichi had been given lately. It was really cut and dry. Help set up a forward scouting camp. Simple enough, and all he had to do was carry some things and walk. In the end, it was a very boring mission, although the company wasn't all too bad. Still, he didn't like all this peace when doing his missions. After all, Lady Risu's missions were infinitely more agreeable with him, packed with levels of danger and excitement, making it easy for him to get more power. But as a Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf, it was his job to do missions and remain low key, so he accepted smaller missions simply to keep his cover. After all, Lady Risu did want him to be somewhat inconspicuous. He was her go between, to have dealings with people she couldn't. Such as this other Uchiha under her wing. It was of no consequence if he was to be seen talking to him, as they were both Uchiha.

Snapped out of his thoughts as he walked though, Yoichi tuned back into the conversation at hand, with the older shinobi he was walking next to. He'd been feigning interest in his stories the entire time, so as to pass the time a little bit quicker. Not that anything he was carrying was heavy, it was simply a boring task of monotonous walking. There was little to do BUT talk to one another. "... and that's about when we realized we were in some heavy trouble. Outnumbered and overpowered, my unit was in shambles. Things were looking rather bleak at that point. Still, we Leaf shinobi have spirit, and the Will of Flames. We fought for every inch they forced us back, making them earn it. We lost far too many good shinobi that day, but their spirit ended up winning us the day. Despite all that went against us, we still managed to hold them off long enough for reinforcements to arrive. It was frightfully close, and I nearly lost my life."

Yoichi had only partially been listening to the story, although truth be told, he couldn't care much less about the old battles he was being told about. He knew almost all there was to know on them, as he'd read the accounts and such logged in the history books, to gather more intelligence about the tactics deployed by Konoha's military and such. It was something he'd done a long time ago, to prepare himself for the day that he'd be a shinobi. At the time, he'd only really had plans to be a great general or tactician, to lead Konoha's armies to greatness and military superiority. However, over the years, his plans had shifted. Lately, as one of Lady Risu's men, he had been able to utilize his intellect in a much different way, more personally, as a direct follower.

It was much more entertaining, as well as more rewarding in the end. He could still see himself leading an army to greatness, however, it would not be Lord Hokage Sousetsu Senju's armies that he'd be leading, but perhaps Lady Hokage Risu Ouroboros of Orochi path's. Indeed, that would be much more enticing. The ninja world was not one for leaders of peace, but instead, leaders of might. In order to get anywhere in this world, your might must be shown. Another ninja war would soon be upon them, Yoichi figured, and in order to survive it, one must act preemptively. By supporting Lady Risu, and building up her power base, Yoichi was ensuring he'd be on the winning side of this war.

Through all Yoichi's thoughts, they'd arrived at their destination, and autonomously, Yoichi began unpacking the supplies he'd brought, and helped them set up the camp as quickly as possible. He had other matters to attend to on this day, other missions, so he couldn't be bothered to hang around for very long. He'd been sent to do a job, and once that job was completed, Yoichi left, in no small rush either.
