~Suki

~Suki

D-rank
Mission:

Suki sighed to herself as she approached the fields the Mission as going to take place in. Tricksters had been filling fake eggs with a permanent dye. These pranked eggs sprayed this dye on anything around them when disturbed. Already many people had had their clothing ruined and their skin dyed strongly enough that it was taking days and multiple showers/baths to get the dye off their skin. So the town had set up  mission, calling for novice, or more advanced possibly, ninja and/or warriors to find these eggs and disable them before more damage to clothing occurred. Thusly, Suki had decided to take on this rather odd task. And in preparation, had created a rather strange outfit for herself. If humans thought getting such dye out of skin was bad, it was worse no doubt with fur. In an effort to prevent dying her own fur unintentionally, she had created an odd white body suit of sorts. It fit closely to her body, and a pair of makeshift goggles and a mask protected her eyes and muzzle. It made her look completely freaky, like a human walking around in a skintight leather bodysuit, excepting hers wasn't quite skintight, and wasn't leather. But regardless, it looked weird.

Suki sighed, and got to work looking around. The problem was, because the grass was roughly 5 feet tall in the fields, finding the eggs wasn't going to be terribly easy. A human would have the advantage of being able to see over the grass, and perhaps see where the grass was downtrodden a bit, showing someone had been through there. Suki however, with her shoulders only coming 16 inches off the ground on all 4s, could not hope to see over the grass. However, she could possibly find eggs in the grass easier. She wondered what they looked like, and why someone had decided to put them in the fields. Wouldn't it have been wiser, if you wanted more victims, to place them in town? But instead they had chosen to place them here... Where they were harder to find.

It was then that She found her first egg. It was bright red. It contrasted so much with the grass that it wasn't at all as hard as she was imagining. They had used high contrasting colors to make them easier to spot. Perhaps placing them in town would still have been have been wiser, but regardless, they had maximized their chance of someone finding one of their eggs. The main giveaway was a few red spots on the ground below it. A slight red dye drip. Suki grabbed a kunai from a shoddy makeshift bag on her back, wrapping her tail around the handle to hold it. With careful precision, she tossed it directly at the egg. The kunai sunk into the egg, and the egg shattered, spraying bright red dye all over the grass, and a goodly amount on Suki's makeshift bodysuit. At least her fur was spared from the dye. Suki nodded to herself and moved on, wondering if the red grass was going to make anyone wonder if something had been killed there. Suki pulled her kunai free of the egg, and placed the broken egg in her makeshift bag as proof. How was the town to know she had dealt with the eggs if she brought no broken eggs with her?

Suki moved on, past the slightly disturbing spot that resembled a murder scene, just without a body. There were more eggs out there, she she needed to find them so she ran, looking around carefully as she did so. She couldn't afford to miss them but walking casually was going to require more time. As she ran she happened across another egg, a bright blue one. With another toss, she threw her kunai into it, causing a blue splatter all over both her, the kunai, and, of course, the grass. She freed her kunai and stowed he broken, splattered husk in her makeshift bag. The next egg she spotted was pink. Again, her kunai pierced it's husk, and dyed her, the kunai, and the grass pink. But her and her kunai we're starting to resemble what an explosion in a pain factory must look like. From there, she hunted around for a fourth egg, as he mission required no less than 4 be tracked down. The fourth, and final, turned out to be a yellow egg hidden right under a tree. After another explosion of color, she was finally done, and happy to be done at that. And with that final egg stowed away, she headed towards town to turn in the broken eggs.
