The southern wind blew in keeping the shops locked into port. The docks full of commotion as sailors and merchants moved around, kegs and crates being lifted and set down among the bustling morning crowd.  Beginning its rise into the sky, the village came to life.

Roosters and hens could be heard cuckling from their cages.  Scratches could be heard as other animals clawed at their cages. Large cats, small cats, strange looking dogs, and other hairy beasts clamored in a strange chorus that bled into people's conversations and hagglings.

Sachiko sat along the edge of a cobblestone stairway, which trickled down to the seaside street just ten feet below her dangling feet.  She leaned back, putting her weight on her arms at her sides, taking in a long whiff of the ocean's smell.  Her nose twinged as she caught the mixing fragrances of all the people and animals below.  Yet she smiled all the same.

"Morning, sun," she cheerfully greeted.  "Off to another wonderful start, I see."

She sprang upright and dusted off her legs, swinging them back around to the stairway side and giving a quick pop with her thighs to roll straight into a run down the stairway.  It was time for her morning game: chase the gulls and the cats around the docks without bumping into anyone.  A game she often liked to play, but had yet to successfully win at.

That was the fun.

Yamino walked the docks of the shore side, he looked at the right and left, seeing birds flying up above , the white gulls were sqawking and calling to eachother, just as he was admiring the birds, he saw there was a girl sitting on the dock, she hung her legs over the port with an almost reckless abandon, though she also wore the headband of the village...so this young girl was a ninja like him.

Yamino started to walk towards this girl, but suddenly she bounded upwards and apparently started chasing seagulls, for the first time in a long time yamino let oput a loud laugh, he hadnt found anything that funny in a long time, as he watched the girl run to and fro he walked up and waved happily at the girl whilst saying in an very happy tone,
Hey there, whats your name!? He smiled wide, ear to ear...was he not himself today or something

There was a gull perched upon an edge of a dock piling, its head twisting and jumping from side to side as it simply watched the little girl approaching its back. Sachiko, the jubilant little girl, thought she was quite clever in coming at the seagull from behind. Just at the moment of her leap, the bird jumped off and spread its wings, flapping well out of reach for the smaller girl.  Her leap nearly sent her off the dock's edge as well.  Flailing her arms wildly at her sides, she regained balance and took a few steps back from the dock's edge.

The sound of laughter caught her attention and she turned around to see a white haired boy with a broad smile and a friendly wave.  She smiled back, in too good of a mood to think the laughter may have been meant to insult but rather felt pleased to hear it.  Someone else was having a good morning it seemed.  He came up to her, asking her name.

"Hattori, Sachiko," she said promptly.  Her toes pushing herself up as she said her name, then slamming her heels down as a strong affirmation to her declaring her own name.  "What's yours?"

Her eyes would glint in the morning light as she caught sight of the different style headband the boy was wearing.  A swooping bird, looking more raven like than hawk, was stamped on the headband.  She had never seen a different headband besides those of the Hidden Mist, and one being more than just some etchings in metal but of an actual bird made her more excited.  Curiosity was getting the better of her again.

"Oooh, what's that mean?" she crooned and pointed straight at the boy's forehead.

Yamino, for some reason was in an odd mood, when the girl asked him what his name was, instead of the regular scowl or lie, Yamino instead smiled and giggled slightly Im Yamino, of the Gaiso clan, and slightly the Osada clan He then watched as she pointed at his headband in a very child like manner and exclaimed at his headband,
Were nearly the same age, but you don't see me jumping up and down like a goof, hmm, is that the maturity of the genin here, thats a shame Though instead of calling her out for being a child he just smiled warmly and explained,
Well, im not a ninja, im actually...hmm whats the word that you word use...Oh! a Mercenary leader, I own a large Band of Men off in in the forest area of Kirigakure, we are the Mist Ravens..Hehe...I own them, Are you a genin here? it was then Yaminos turn to point at the girls headband in a more sober manner, Yamino was slowly getting more and more interested in this girls story. he hadn't met a ninja in a long time and was used to the rugged bandit style men and women, whom generally outaged him by double, people his own age generally complexed him, he was as intrigued as he had ever been...

Her head tilted in thought, Yamino was of two different clans. Young and naive as she was, she didn't see how simple this situation of two bloodlines could happen. The only people she knew were from one clan so for her to hear this white haired older boy was of two clans made her eyes go wide. Surely, he was special in some way to have achieved such a thing.

Yamino's declaration of owning a band of men nearly sank all of her morning spirit. Just hearing the words brought back memories of the roving band of men that had taken over her village. Those men had been mercenaries as well, in a manner of speaking. They had been more thieves and thugs, yet they were still paid off by her town's mayor. Her face lost its gentle happiness as the brooding memories lingered. Not that paying them off had saved him, she thought.

"Are you a genin here?" Yamino asked finally.

Sachiko stirred from her momentary lapse from the conversation, jarred to reality again by the personal question. The boy's hand now pointed back at her own headband. She smiled again, "Yes, actually.  I only just became one this week!"

Her adoptive father, Shingen, had gotten permission to enter her into the village's shinobi ranks.  Having never entered the Academy here, her new rank was quite the statement of trust between the village's leaders and Shingen as to her training being worthy of such a title. He had reminded her of that fact when he bestowed upon her the headband.  His training and lessons had been hard, but ever since she had half-gotten right a jutsu, she was smitten by the shinobi world and hastened for more.

"I still have much to learn and I haven't gone on any missions, yet.  I'm supposed to really soon though!" she chimed, trying to have an air of authenticity even though she was quite the green recruit. She knew it, and now this boy knew it as well. That is, if he hadn't guessed that already.

The girl was green, at 13 years of age she was a brand new genin, only two years her senior and Yamino had killed a few men, though they were attacking him with intent to kill him, the fact that there was such a gap between him and her startled him. Yamino then realized that her face grew very sullen at the mention he started talking about the Mist Ravens,
Were not evil, we hold the belifs of the Mist village in our highest regard, we protect the local area of the evil ones, everyone should be aloud to fight for what they believe in...Ninja or Mercenary He smiled warmly at her, with a look on his face beyond his own years, hopefully convincing the younger girl that he was not some killer.
Wait? you havent done a mission eh? I wouldnt really want someone as new as you to get knocked off on their first mission, how about i test out this hattori clan hmm? See how good the ninja genin training is against a more rugged lifestyle ahaha as he laughed he look her in the eye hoping that she would take the offer, he actually wanted to make sure that she would live on a mission, for some weird reason Yamino actually cared about this girl...

The way the boy talked, it was very black and white.  Sachiko liked how he said his men fought justly, or in his words, "protect from the Evil Ones."  It was a good name for the bad people out there.  Thankfully she hadn't seen any Evil Ones since she had been brought to Kirigakure.  Yet, taking on those Evil Ones was her reason for coming here in the first place.

The boy's surprise to her not having done even her first mission made her take a shy step back, her eyes now aiming more to her feet.  Yamino kept speaking, seeming to want to cheer her up as she reacted to his words.  Hearing that he wanted to test her out made her look back up in him, eyes gleaming.

"Sure that sounds fun!" she let out almost too quickly. Her brain then giving her a reality check on how rough she might be at whatever test was coming her way.  "But, I'm not fully trained or anything just yet, so... I don't know how well I'll do."

She could tell Yamino was older than her by a few years, maybe a couple.  He already had height on her, and most likely weight, too.  Then there was probably a bit more experience that he had, but even still, she was glad to have someone other than her caretaker to spur her forward.

The girl mentioned how she had no training in combat, Yamino giggled slightly, he had gone on many jobs before, the amount was staggering, every other day Yamino was taking a ''mission'' from someone, and yet someone this girl has not even gone on a single mission...not even a D rank, but there was always a way to start.
Well then, ill be your first training partner, dont be scared aha it wont get that violent, and if i hurt you just tell me and ill stop He smiled as he walked backwards and looked at her with a jovial face,
Have Some fun with it!!!!
Yamino drew out his Kunai knife and motioned the small girl on with the waggle of a finger and a wink, if he started to fight there would be nothing left of her within a few seconds, he had to make sure not to use his Kekkei Genkai too much...he wanted this girl in one piece after all...

Yamino sounded genuine, not wanting to boastfully show off any moves but actually seemed interested in helping Sachiko out. She couldn't believe her luck. It really is a good day, today. There was enough space for where they stood on the docks for a good maneuver or two, and with Yamino waiting with a kunai at the ready she could feel excitement growing.  Sure, she knew she probably wouldn't be able to get very far against someone older than her, but like her caretaker always told her: it never hurt to try.  Although this time it may hurt just a bit, she giggled to herself.

"Ok, get ready!" Sachiko declared, a grin painted on her little face.

The white haired boy looked more than ready as she pulled out her own kunai. With a bit of quick thinking, she jumped off the dock and onto the closest piling to her, just three meters away from where Yamino stood on the dock. Just slightly off to the boy's left, she decided it was her chance to attack. Before she made another leap, she sent a piece of her chakra down onto the piling, just to be safe. And then she was off, leaping forward back to the docks and directly at Yamino. She had her kunai raised high, pointing out the bottom of her fist as she made the downward stabbing motion.

Her eyes gleamed with delight as she made the lunge, hoping to catch just a bit of clothing of the boy before she completely missed him, expecting a dodge to be the most likely, yet that was just a guess and as she fell her nerves tingled with apprehension.

He saw the girl going towards him, he smiled ear to ear, this fight was going to get going, Yaminos favorite activity was fighting, though he was used to fighting older men, as well as the fact that he fought bandits and what not, this would be one of his first ninja fights since ninja did not frequent the outer forests of the land of the mist.
Just as he was about to get lost in his own thoughts the girl launched herself of the wooden post, flying at him with her kunai knife, as she flew threw the air he noticed that her knife was on a downwards angle, so as he got ready for his counter attack he laced a 12ft wire onto the loop on his kunai knife, quickly tying it as the attack came in, he then blocked the downwards thrust with a timed parry, hoping to send her blade veering to the left of him, if successful he would then jumping over the girl, hoping to catch her slightly off guard, though at the same time letting go of his kunai knife as he jumped.

As Yamino landed he pulled the wire that he now had gripped in his left hand, aiming to pull the kunai after him and slice at the girls mid section...this was his style of Bukijutsu, he hoped the girl was prepared for a good fight.

When Sachiko leapt at the smiling, white-haired boy, she hadn't noticed the wire he laced as she was in flight. So when the blades clashed her kunai's path was sent across to the left, her arm tucking down in front of her chest, in between her and the boy. Yamino let go of his kunai, letting it fall in between them, and then had a sudden leap that went completely over her short, not even five-foot frame.

Naively, she turned her head, eyes wide as she watched the boy jump over her. Gravity did the rest and he landed behind her. As he did, there was a small feeling that something had fallen on her. Her eyes darted to her shoulder as the thing had a soft, small sliding feel across her. String! But it was too late.

The string was connected to the fallen kunai which had fallen to the ground by the time Yamino had landed. With a straight pull on the wire, the blade popped back off the wood dock and scraped along her crossed arm from the earlier parry. In her startlement and small yelp of pain, she turned aside to not let the blade do too much damage, already making a long cut up her arm.

The wire fell free a bit as she turned, no longer supported by her shoulder as it had been from it's trail following Yamino's jump. Her free hand reached up and grabbed at the blade as it stuttered in the air, dropping a bit as it continued it's path from the initial pull. With Yamino's back facing her now from his leap, her hands would surely be able to grab hold of the blade before he would be able to realize what she was doing.

Hopefully having his kunai pinned, if only for a moment longer, Sachiko snapped her own kunai-bearing arm around to stab him in the back. He had landed close for the pull, too close. Even with a tug to pull free his kunai, the blade would only be following the wire and not conflict with her own stab at his back. She aimed for the middle, to the spine, where even a quick rotation of the hips wouldn't be enough to completely dodge her attack.

Yamino had already dealt a great blow. Something Sachiko had never experienced before from someone else other than her caretaker. In fact, this was her first fight with anyone outside of her little household of two. But this was fun.

Suddenly just after his succesfull slice with his wire attack, the girl grabbed the handle of the blade, though at the moment Yamino didnt know this, and when he went to continue through with the thrust he felt a decent amount of resistance and relized that even in pain this girl knew what she was doing, as he quickly turned he saw a flash of metal beneath him, he knew that he was too late to dodge it, but he wasnt taking a stab anywhere near his vitals, so he brought his arm up and took the small wound to his forearm, wincing in the pain that the metal kunai brought him, it seemed that they had taken a blow for a blow.
As the stab dug in his arm he took the chance to yank as hard as he could on his cord, aiming to either pull the girl down or get his corded blade back into his grasp, either way he would jump forward 2m with or without his blade, though he assumed that he was stronger then the girl and would be able to get it.

As he jumped forwards he made the half ram seal, then the tiger seal, and as he finished his right hand was covered in a medium sized orb or thick smoke, if it wasnt for the chakra covering on his skin, it would be burning a good deal, he then swung forwards with his hand and shot forth a beam of smoke, aiming for her kneecaps so if the attack missed it would still strike the dock, and if it hit her it would give her mild burns and still explode in a large mist of smoke, that he was hoping that she would have trouble seeing, he then quickly lauched two shuriken at the girl directly after the smoke beam.

Her blade sunk into flesh. It was satisfying to get a stab back at the boy who had made a cut up her arm. Things were even for a moment; a cut to each of their arms. Yamino had turned just enough to catch her blade with his forearm. He was very quick. Much quicker than she. It was a wonder she had landed a hit at all, but before she could even start to revel in her small success at evening the score Yamino had yanked out the kunai from her hand.

No! The pinning of the boy's weapon was practically feeble as he pulled it out with ease, or was he just that much stronger than her? She guessed that the latter made more sense. He was older and seemed to be more experienced than her. His use of wire and kunai was quite the surprise. Never had she seen that used before and in such a way. The white haired boy pulled back in another jump, Sachiko only barely managing to keep her balance from the yanking of his kunai and having to hold on to her own as he moved. Yet it was plain to see he was already making another attack. His hands weaved handsigns and she braced for an attack as a black, smoky orb enveloped around his hand. He pointed the hand at her and the smoke seemed to jump out at her, heading straight for her legs.

Sachiko wanted to react, but she was too slow to move away from the charging smoke. Before she even primed her legs for the jump, her knees began to burn as the jutsu struck. Tears came to her eyes from the pain as the smoke suddenly expanded into a large cloud that surrounded her. The burns stung at her knees to the point that she fell at her own weight. She was in a bad position, kneeling down in a cloud of smoke that consumed her vision of the docks. There was no way she could see Yamino but she knew the worst was coming. In a last ditch effort, there was only the anticipation of an attack that could save her now. Preparing for whatever came next, she held up her arms in what probably looked like a pathetic attempt at protecting her face.

I must still fight, she told herself through the pain.

Hmm was the only thought that yamino was able to think as the smoke beam came into contact with the girls legs and he even thought he heard something akin to a whimper of pain as he saw her drop to her knees just as the large WHOOSH sound of the smoke entered area as it spread, Yamino was able to discern through the smoke with only a light haze, but he was imagining that the girl would not be able to, even if he wanted to Yamino couldnt get rid of the smoke it wasnt even chakra smoke, the smoke he was using was now normal, though just as useful.
Yamino stood and waited until the docks natural breeze blew the remaniderof the smoke away, usually he wouldnt bother with the waiting and cjust quickly close the distance between him and the girl while slicing at her soft spots, but this wasnt that kind of fight, he wanted to be on equal grounds with this girl he already noticed that he was faster and stronger then this girl, he didint need any other advantages on her, once the smoke was mostly clear Yamino called out in a happy voice,
Oh come on bring it one a little more, you can do better then that, the power of the genin of Kirigakure must be stronger then that! i know you hold more prowess then that, now! show me what you got! then he launched himself at the girl, throwing his kunai at her chest swiftly, then quickly pulling it back with the string while turning on his heel in a spin swinging the string in his hand with him slashing at the girls face quickly with his kunai on a string, spinning twice and hopefully slashing at her twice in his spinning arc....Yamino wanted to test out this girl

There seemed to be a pause in the fighting, she noticed as the cloud of smoke slowly dissipated and her vision cleared. The burns still ached and made it hard for her to just kneel on the hard wooden planks of the docks. Things just made no sense at all. However her sense of sight was returning and the boy was still standing where he had landed. Instead of rushing in for an attack, he was waiting. Watching.

Yamino was playing with her. Or was it all tests of what she could do? This was a friendly spar after all. He had wanted to help train her, just like her caretaker. This reminder made her push her thoughts to what she could do. Without any proper jutsu training so far, she had nothing up her sleeves like the boy's smoke attack had been. This was a fight that had quickly exceeded her skill level and was increasing in difficulty. She had suffered a cut up her arm, and burns to her legs and knees. Still, she wanted to fight a little bit longer even if Yamino had said to stop when she had gotten hurt, she figured she could go on a little bit longer.

And so it seemed with Yamino for he called out to her, challenging her to press on instead of giving up. She wasn't about to give in yet, it was just a matter of what she was going to do next. Sachiko had thought that maybe she should reply to his call but he immediately began to move forward. His pace seemed odd though, as if he held himself back. Was he trying to keep things on equal footing? If so, this changed things.

The white haired boy threw out the kunai, this time Sachiko noticed the wire still attached to it. With her hands already raised and poised to move, she was able to knock the thrown kunai to the ground before it made contact with her chest. However, the thrown blade didn't stay there but was pulled back again as Yamino swiveled on his heel for a rotating attack. Sachiko kept low to the ground, mustering her willpower to fight through the burns of her knees and keep moving. Yes, keep moving.

Moving because she needed to fight back. Once the blade had begun it's retraction, she decided to follow it to Yamino in an attempt to surprise her forward moving attacker with a rush forward herself. A simple tuck and roll forward from her kneeling position kept her small frame fairly low to the wooden docks as the boy made his spinning attack, the blade going higher than her body due to the spinning nature of Yamino's attack. The blade swung around on the tautly held wire as she came out of her roll. Her kunai equipped hand reaching up and out to slash at the spinning torso of the boy.

As he did his first spin Yamino was quickly caught as the girl rushed forwards as he was about to attack, kunai coming at him quickly, as he reacted subconsciously a spark alit in his eyes he loved this , the thrill of combat, even if he was a little bit better then the girl that he was fighting there was some good challenge here for him. As she came in close Yamino didnt stop his spin, using the spin now instead to swivel around to the right of the girls slash, whilst pulling his kunai into his grasp, he had a different plan now...
Yamino then quickly shot his leg out and aimed for a hit to the burned kneecap with a kick, then going up for a another slash aiming right at the girls knuckle, aiming to disarm her if she didnt dodge the slash that would hopefully catch her as she was about to fall over from a kick, yamino smiled grimly to himself as he showed this girl the power of the Mist Ravens.

Finishing her roll, Sachiko stuck out her kunai and locked her arm stiffly in anticipation of hitting Yamino’s spinning body. Instead her blade just poked at the air. The boy had reacted quickly and gracefully enough that her movement went without hindering him at all. His swinging kunai had spun over her head once before being brought back into his hands again. It appeared that his initial attack was over and being changed into something else. That had to be a good sign, right?

The halt from her roll had meant that her right foot had to pull up to stop her forward momentum. Yamino noticed this and took advantage of her exposed wound, throwing a sharp kick to her knee. Coming straight from his spin and swivel, she had no time to properly react but could only watch as the sparkly-eyed boy gleamed with adrenaline. With delight he landed his kick, and with apprehension she buckled slightly to the side as her knee fell to the left. Her outstretched hand went more to the right in an attempt to catch her balance. It didn’t help.

She watched while she wobbled as the boy’s kunai came down in a slash to her outstretched hand. This was the moment she would have to focus on since she was too late with protecting her knees. Gotta do it now! The blade made contact with her knuckle and as it was just about to cut through her skin when a quick flicker and puff of smoke combusted before Yamino. In the flash of smoke, Sachiko was gone and in replacement was a piece of the wood piling she had first touched during the start of the fight.

Across from the wooden docks, Sachiko appeared. She sank into the water where the top of the piling had been but was now gone. In the moment of distraction caused by the wood piling getting caught under Yamino’s blade, she quickly sunk herself in the water, climbing down the piling underwater to get lower into the sea. She needed to get where the murky sea water would best hide her. Once she was far enough down, just about two meters, she pushed off with her feet and swam under the docks where she and Yamino had previously been fighting. Now covered by the wooden docks, she came up to the surface and let just half of her face break the water’s surface. The water tickled at her earlobes as she kept her face parallel with the water, treading precariously into position beneath Yamino.

Hopefully, everything would work out fine. Hopefully Yamino wouldn’t know exactly where she was or where she had gone. Hopefully the boy didn’t have any electric jutsu to fry her in the water with. Hopefully, her kunai would find the bottom of the white haired boy’s foot as she pushed up through the water and in between the small openings between each wood plank on the docks. Hopefully she wouldn’t get a cramp and start to drown. Hopefully her knees would stand the pain of having saltwater licking the wounds of her burned knees and cut arm.

Hopefully.

Yamino watched with a gleeful smile as his kunai was about to make contact with the girls outstrected knuckles, and just as the kunai should have been going into the hand of the girl he suddenly saw a small puff of smoke appear and a piece of wood fell to the ground with a kunai carving in it, she was somewhere near , he closed his eyes knowing that she wasnt in sight and started concentrating on all of the sounds around him, the wind in the air and the sqawks of the gulls, and suddenly the odd splash of water...she was in the water, that made sense, a basic ninja tactic was to attack from where they didnt expect it, but now he knew it was coming, Yamino made a handsign and saw as a line of smoke quickly formed from him and a human sized shape emerged from the end of it, he instantly sent the smoke golem into the water, making it bubble and foam and steam up, the human smoke shape went at the nearly submerged girl with mid level genin speed, (E-3) and went for a flurry of blows just as the kunai came up from the dock, Yamino watched as she stabbed his boot just as he jumped up and nearly got hit by the kunai, hoping that it was distracting enough for the golem to catch her in the water, ...

Her blade rose up out of the water and fit between the planks of wood above her, yet her opponent was still one step ahead of her. Somehow, somehow, he had seen her coming and had moved his foot out of harm's way. Beyond this, he went so far as to try to attack her, releasing yet another smoke jutsu. So he favors smoke jutsu, she noted as she retracted her blade back beneath the water’s surface and watched the smoke form into a golem that then rushed down at her. The attack was failed from the start, however, as the docks’ planks were built tightly together. It was this reason that only her kunai could just poke up at his foot through the crack, but not her hand.

She watched from the water below as the golem slammed into the water A twinge of pain coursed their her body briefly as she stayed in the water. Her wounds were open to the sea water and it stung, but only for a short while. Sea water would help her, it had healing properties and cleansed the skin of possible infection. It wouldn’t be able to heal her wounds completely like it could if a medical ninja were to work on her. Still, she was thankful for the ocean’s cleansing sting as well as the wooden docks that separated her and Yamino. There was probably more burning to occur if she touched any more of his smoke jutsu.

“You’re really good,” she said, treading water very carefully to just allow her face to breach the water’s surface while watching the smoke golem try to survive in water. It made her laugh, watching the smoke turn to bubbles and rise back up out of the water. It was simply impossible for his smoke jutsu to work in the water, the golem was composed of air and jumping into the water was like blowing air into a pond. It’d bubble and steam back up to leave the water at it’s surface, but never be able to stay or move within the water. “Seems like your jutsu doesn’t work in the water. Maybe I’ll just stay here.”

In a way, she was trapped. Yet at the same time she was protected. The boy was quite obviously above her skill level. She hadn’t even done a mission nor knew any combative jutsu. They both must have known she was bound to lose the battle, that much was clear and Yamino had only just begun to use his jutsu against her. Tired and wounded, Sachiko just couldn’t keep up with this guy if they were standing toe to toe. It was a sad fact that she had to accept, but still she had expected this outcome.

Oh come on now, get out of that water, I think this fight is drawing close to its end anyway, I don't wish to injure you anymore then I already did Yamino then undid his golem that was skimming the top of the water, turning it into steam as the smoke that its body was made of drifted over the top of the water and finally just fizzed into nothingness. Yamino walked over the edge of the port and looked down as he shot a hand out to help the girl out of the water, I think I won this one my dear, come on up and dry yourself off Yamino looked at her and smiled wide, he had actually had quite a bit of fun, this little girl had fought him well without any jutsu to call her own and hadn't done a bad job of it, Your sensei should be proud, you fought well my friend

Sachiko smiled and swam out from underneath the docks, climbing back upon Yamino's request. He had realized the fight was at its end, too. Clambering out of the water, she could feel her aching, wounded muscles crying out from the sudden burst of effort. She'd fought as hard as she could, having not really trained for a fight yet nor known any combative jutsu. She was proud of herself, for as much as she did. Yamino had certainly won the fight, as his abilities proved themselves to be much, much better than hers. His jutsu was so interesting, yet so deadly. I'll have to remember to not trust smoke when around shinobi.

"Ugh, yeah you definitely beat me, no question. I'm all worn out, too," she said, making a large sigh as she collapsed onto the docks, rolling over to lay on her back. "You're really good, you know?"

She wondered if her sensei would really be proud of her for this fight. She'd lost, which stunk and kind of ate at her in the back of her mind. But what could she have expected? The guy was clearly out of her league and she didn't have any jutsu to attack him with. The fight really was more of a 'how long can I last' scenario. At least now she knew how long that was. Not very long at all.

Laying down, her body slowly let the aches die out, focusing on relaxing and resting as the clouds rolled by overhead. The sun was covered up now and the weather returned to the normal overcast weather that was so stereotypical of the Hidden Mist village. Sachiko looked over at Yamino and could see that he had had fun with the fight as well. Good. This was good.

"So what now? I'm pretty tired from all of that, did I at least make you sweat?" she asked, curious of how she might have affected her opponent.

Ugh, yeah you definitely beat me, no question. I'm all worn out, too," Yamino laughed deep in his belly, he then wiped his brow and noticed that he had really broken a sweat, he then noticed that he was even breathing hard from the fight, he was happier then ever at the moment, he had never really had a sparring match before, almost all of his fights could have easily ended in death if he had messed them up, this one almost felt light hearted, even though there was wounds from it and everything, he had a nice carve on his forearm from the girls kunai, though there were some wounds that he recieved over the past few years were near leathal, so this fight had been a nice change of pace,
You are good, you need to get some jutsu into your repitore, id be happy to train with you whenever im in Kiri, im a wanderer afterall so ill be around, but just know you got a sparring partner with me whenever ya want He smiled at her at he threw a elastic into his hair making a quick man bun out of his hair while stretching out his back

Things began to cool down as the clouds rolled in. It was only a matter of time before the fog followed suit. Yet the chilly breeze was refreshing to Sachiko. She had had her moment of enjoying the sun, enjoying the pains of fighting to her heart's content. Yamino was right, of course. If she would only learn some more jutsu and train a little harder she could eventually be a tougher opponent for him. Maybe then he wouldn't have to hold himself back as much, that they could fight as equals. Wonder who would win then, she thought with a slight grin. A short laugh followed, still think his smoke would get me.

"Well, it's nearly time for lunch. I was thinking of just grabbing something on my way back home," she said. "But are you hungry too? If you didn't have anything else to do after this, we should totally get some food! 'Best thing after a good workout,' my master always says!"

She grinned, getting up slowly. Her clothes were soaking wet and her pants were dripping with ocean water. The stinging of her bruises and cuts brought her attention back to her sorry state of being. "Oh, and maybe we should stop somewhere to get bandages." She checked the cut in her arm, it was bleeding but not that badly. It was her first cut from someone else, her master being more forgiving and caring when they trained that she had yet to develop any scars. This cut seemed light enough, but still made her wonder if it was going to leave a permanent scar, or just a temporary one like some of her worst training cuts so far.

Yamino smiled at her and nodded as he said, Im totally for that! , we can chat instead of punching at each other ahaha Then the girl looked somewhat painfully at the small cut on her arm, and mentioned going somewhere to get bandages, Yamino made tsk sound, he ripped the sleeve off of his shirt and walked closer to the girl, making sure not to startle her, and fashioned a basic bandange around the cut on the girls arm, after he tied it tight he smiled at the girl as he said,
Better? no need for bandages, gods i havent been to a hospital in years at least hehe so where is good to eat around here, since im not really from these parts He then started to walk down the docks towards the city, awaiting the answer from the girl.

Yamino seemed pretty excited about the opportunity for food. His cheerfulness contagious to Sachiko as she began to grin with excitement as well. He was even kind enough to tear off a piece of his clothing to wrap her cut with.  Tightening it hurt, a strong clench of her teeth kept her from making too much of a whiny noise as he made sure the makeshift bandage stayed put. Afterwards Yamino joked about how it had been awhile since he had gone to the hospital, an amazing feat given he'd obviously seen more combat than her. She figured he must know his medical stuff to be able to go without a hospital visit for so long.

"Thanks, that feels a lot better," she said with a smile. "Now for food! I know this great place we can go to. You'll love it, I'm sure!"

She hopped after Yamino, quickly taking the lead so as to show him the way. With the grab of his hand she would pull him after her as they left the docks. The day had only begun, the sun still rising high into the sky. It was time for a good old fashioned brunch and Sachiko knew just the place for the two of them. They'd have to walk a ways into the village but the wait would be worth it. Suspense always heightens the senses, she repeated an old saying of her mentor's to herself. She couldn't wait to see how the traveling boy with her would like food from the Hidden Mist.
