Something was going to happen soon. Something he had not seen coming and was poorly ready for. He could feel it in the pit of his stomach from all the clues and bits of information he had uncovered while in Suna it seemed like he had a group following him and planning to kill him and possibly his family. It was bothersome and he wasn’t entirely sure how to act to this news. Sure he had been in a war and had his life threatened more times than he could possibly imagine but this was something new entirely. He looked back at the abandoned factory and looked south knowing he had a lot of ground to cover to reach Kiri again and he also had another person to worry about as well. Hopefully the group following him would not attempt anything but he knew better. He was at this point expecting it the problem he had ahead of him now was, stay in Suna and risk them rallying their forces or leave now while there was a smaller amount to worry about. Seeing as he had no information to tell him who was after him, how many, or how many were actively following him he decided to roll the disk and risk moving now hoping he could power though one or two at the most. If nothing this could potentially save Suna from an unknown force as well. He had decided to leave at night so he did not have to worry about the heat of the sun as well as the enemy forces. He was hoping to cross the dunes of the sand village before sun rose again and take shelter in the trees on the way back. He just hoped he was making the right decision.

He checked his gear again and looked around for his student wondering when she would show up. He had told her the time to leave and it was quickly approaching. He still worse hiss black attire hoping to blend in at least a little with the night. He sat there calming himself down and sensing the area around him making sure that there was nobody spying or approaching them within the factory. From what he could tell the coast would be clear. Still though something else didn’t feel right. The man dead out in the dunes. How long had he been out there? He never checked so the information he gathered could have been days old. He swore to himself at his sloppiness. That was the worst case scenario; best case scenario was that they would be moving parallel to one another. Himself slipping away as the enemy approached. He focused on his breathing having never felt this unsure about something before. Was he nervous? He had fought Seven Bells alone long enough for the other Swordsman to escape, but he had almost died I the process. Back then fighting meant more though; it meant the safety of his village and the safety of his lover. Now though when it was a focused effort onto him he had no idea what to feel. Especially with an enemy potentially stronger than him, and more than one. It was times like this he really missed her even though she had betrayed him. She would at least know what to say to keep him focused and on track. After all he felt like his life was meaningless that he was just a weapon a pawn on the chessboard. Over the year since the war he had been told differently but he had yet to see so himself. He exhaled slowly wondering where his student was.

Swallowed in a sea of crisp white linen sheets, beads of sweat glistened on slightly tanned skin like pearly found among the menacing floor of the sea. Her face was scrunched up in pain though it didn't come from the wound on her nose which was covered up in a band aid and healing ointment. If one listened carefully, one could hear the grind of teeth meshing together like cold brittle iron. And yet this all went unnoticed by another sleeping figure in a bed on the other side of the hotel room.

Despite the placid mood in the air, a storm raged within a young heart whom unbeknownst to her was about to be forced to grow up and become an adult fast; a dark and ominous figure watched her slightly beside the bed, carefully caressing her cheek as if it was afraid to make a move and break her. Yet just as her nightmare was about to reach a climax the thump of knuckles raping against the door frame of withered oak wretched her away from the cords of despair and as her eyes fluttered, with great haste the figure left without a single trace of its presence except a fading compression of a hand on the memory foam mattress and the shift of dusty on a lamp. With a burst of energy she sat up and groaned from the headache forming in her head. It felt like drums were beating against it, each bang causing her great distress. Yet it faded as a wave of dizziness took over and she had to lean on the side table for support. It seemed like minutes became years till the knocking on the door grew louder. Annoyed she combined back the mop of light pink hair from her weary face and left the heat of her bed, enjoying the light breeze that welcomed her. Goosebumps spread like wildfire as she an odd chill and wondered if it was a side effect of her dream/ nightmare...the one she can't remember. Rolling her eyes she thought nothing of it.

Turning the brass doorknob, blue eyes met purple. "Capelli letto Accidenti guarda bene su di voi bella"

Aimi narrowed her eyes dangerously as she held a kunai behind her back, wondering how or why he acted or rather knew she spoke italian, something she rarely showed."Non ho ordinato nessun puttane , soprattutto non uno che è così blando come si"

She was about to slam the door in his face but he stuck his foot out so reluctantly she reopened the door. She took this moment to take in his features. He had long, longer than her own actually, purple hair and blue tinted purple eyes. His face was carefully sculpted like a civilian model though his black body suit clung to him, showing off his well toned body. His feet were clad in leather bound armor boots with beaded jewels handing off the side, a feature repeats throughout his attire. Aimi bristled slightly as he chuckled, noting her staring "Lei dice che , ma mi lasci e ti faccio vedere quanto bene addentro sono"

Aimi growled moved to side kick the bastard's stomach but he blurred away. She would've felt her face connected with the floor hadn't his hand grasp her arm and pulled her back. She sneered and struggled in the man's grip before stabbing him effectively in the neck with a kunai though his presence disappeared in a puff of smoke. "Fuck it was a shadow clone! Sly bastard" A string of curses followed from her mouth, and she would've continue hadn't she noticed the scroll and note left in his place. Snatching it from a nonexistent force she read the contents of the letter...

Sorry doll face but I don't have time to play as I'm only here to fulfill this task give to me by your boyfriend, though if you ever want some private lessons call me

-Raiga

Aimi ignored the comment about her so called relationship with Daemon and quickly absorbed the information in the scroll. When she finished she fell back onto her bed, glancing at her little brother for a moment as she weighed her options before finally she felt a weight being placed on her shoulders. Quickly going through her business in the bathroom, she gathered her stuff in a backpack and got dressed in the same attire she met Daemon the last time. Though just before she hopped out of the window she left a message to Mure explaining everything down to the smallest detail and kissed his forehead before taking off.

It was way passed the meeting time but she was sure that he would be there though as she journeyed she couldn't help but feel like she was being followed. When she saw his silhouette she grinned and aimed an an aerial kick at his face. If it connect she would grin and sit on his back as she made a snarky comment about him being air headed. If he dodged it she would tumble roll before continuing to walk forward her hand in her pocket, asking him why he was taking so long.

Dameon could now sense his student approaching him from the distance hearing each step as if she was stomping. He would move slightly out of the way as she attempted to kick him doing just enough to avoid her playful act of trying to be superior. He was glad that she was in such a happy mood but it was not the same case for him. He knew the potential troubles that they could have ahead of them. He stood up not long after she tumbled from her miss of the kick. He didn’t have anything to bring with him that he wasn’t already carrying so he just took the lead ahead of her in a very serious and unusual manner. What he was doing was beyond risky and at the moment he figured that the less she knew the better. He didn’t want her freaking out or being paranoid. He turned around to face her and gestured her to walk closer to him. He would set a fast walking pace through the desert hoping to get ahead of any would be attackers but there was still no guarantee. They just needed to reach the grass and tree line and they would be in much better shape and not so out in the open. He ran his hand over the back of his neck, over the branded mark of his clan that seemed to have some sort of phantom pain to it. He closed his eyes shutting out the past so he could look ahead to keeping them both safe.

“We have to try and reach the end of the desert before the sun comes up completely. There could be any number of enemies out there wanting to stop you and I from getting to Kiri,” he said in a more serious tone than what she was used to out of him. He didn’t want to act this way but he also had little choice. He led her across a few sand dunes and soon the village was starting to get smaller and smaller behind them. The moon still above giving off just enough light to make it possible to navigate through the cold desert night. He kept himself focused on the surrounding area making sure he could not see or sense anyone approaching them from the distance. They were also making good progress as they trekked through the desert. He was trying to take the most direct route possible but sadly it was also a relatively predictable route. That being said to go off course through wind country could be a very bad thing as well. He looked back at his student Aimi knowing she would be of little help if something did happen. He needed to protect her and on principle alone he would die for her to live if he had to. The last thing he wanted was a repeat of the terrible situation that had happened to him during the war.

“I am hoping nothing happens over the next couple of hours…but if we should come under attack I need you to run far away. I know you will feel the urge to help but refrain if an enemy chooses to attack me strategically it is because they think that they have a chance of killing me. People do not set up pre-emptive attacks without an advantage or confidence and if they are strong enough to think they can kill me than a single genin would be the equivalent to a fly,” he said not wanting to deflate her expectations but everything he said was to protect her. He just hoped she would listen to him if something were to happen.
