It was bright and early the day today. 5:30 on the spot he had awaken, Keith Sarutobi. Upon waking up he was groggy beyond belief but within only a few moments of being up and looking out his fairly normal sized window to his right, he realized that he would be leaving the land that he knew and loved for a travel mission with a few others. As a fresh genin, he was excited to be doing something of the sort. On the outside he was so excited that he had to take a few minutes to himself so that he could get all of his enthusiasm out. he didn't want to seem like some child to the rest of them even though by ranking and experience, he basically was. But on the inside, he was actually really nervous. He hadn't been in any actual life or death combat, not to mention he has never been anywhere near the outside of the village. Smacking his face, he got himself together quickly as it was now 5:47 in the morning. He spent that long thinking about his day?

Getting up, he readied himself. A black wife beater under a black T-shirt was his first choice as always. His pants were smooth, deep black with pockets that were deep enough to hold both his hands in the same pocket. These were comfortable to him in most weather conditions except the extreme cold. Aside from this, his shoes were just regular sandals that show both the toe and the heal of his foot. They travel up his ankle simple for the sole purpose of hiding a small weapon if needed to though he hasn't found a use for this just yet. He looked at himself before leaving to make sure he was ready and equipped with most of his essentials. A carrying pack of kunai and/or shuriken was his first need and basically all he had at the moment but that should suffice if needed right?

Leaving out the door, he hurriedly moved through the village giving greetings to everyone he passed. He knew that he didn't have time to stop and really say hello to anyone as he felt he was late. It was now about 6:52. He was actually moving a little slower than he could be but he wasn't paying too much attention to that. Finally he made to the edge of the border where he saw someone sitting and waiting for everyone to arrive. "Umm..." Keith started as he put his hand on the back of his neck. His hair in his face, he pushed it to the left letting it cover his left eye before continuing. "My name is Keith. Are another genin?" Keith had never seen the man before nor any of the genin so thought he should ask straight up before making any assumptions.

Waking up was bit more difficult today, in fact it was impossible.  Suutei was resting after a brutal day previously, Chopper as well curled into a ball on his stomach.  The alarm went off for the 8th time in 2 hours, and Suutei groaned finally waking from his slumber.  He gently tapped on Choppers head, waking him as well.  Unresponsive he took his fist and slammed it across his head.  "OW OW OW!  WHY'D YOU DO THAT!"  Chopper awoke covering his head, sobbing as Suutei snickered at him.  "Come on.  We go on our trip today, and we're already late.  Suutei got of bed stretching, loosening his joints he yawned making his way to the bathroom.  Chopper sniffled climbing off the bed he started preparing his backpack for the trip.

Emerging from the bathroom a half hour later, he went into his room getting dressed.  A blue head wrap (like my avatar picture), as well as a brown high waist shirt showing his muscular figure.  Black harem pants with ends tight around his ankle.  His pants held up by a metal gold band, in place of a belt and the standard black ninja sandals.  Suutei grabbed his backpack, with all his tools and weapons.  Throwing it over his shoulder he went to find Chopper, "Chopper you ready to go?!?"  Approaching their front door, Chopper was waiting patiently with his Backpack and red top hat.  His antlers stuck out of the side of the hat, a standout was the large white "X" in the center.  Choppers trademark, it was strange though he never ever can be seen without it.  "Ready Suutei!"  Suutei opened the front door allowing Chopper to leave out first, he looked back to his apartment as if it would be the last time he'd see it.  Closing the door behind him he followed behind Chopper, adjusting his bag on his back they made their way to the Southwestern Gate.

Chopper would be visiting Kirigamure the place he was born, it might be nice for him to visit after so long.  Suutei was told to go here and be trained under the guidance of a Kirigakure shinobi, but Suutei had other motives for this trip.  The boy known as Kusano, as far as he was concerned once he found the boy...he'd kill him.  Revenge was never the answer, and growing up he'd believed that his whole life.  Not this time, being humiliated and defeated he needed to act.  This boy would pay he refused to lose to anyone else again, he could never fail again.  The only problem would be their escort, a boy from the Uzumaki clan.  Toshiko was his name he was another contestant eh got disqualified, and returned home with the title of a Chunnin.  Now this same imbecile would be his escort, as if he were a child.  The very thought made his blood boil, he began to ponder his strength. Surely he could handle him with ease, after all he couldn't afford to lose anymore.  Their would be two other people accompanying them on the trip, but the way he saw it they both were irrelevant.

Suutei and Chopper neared the front gate.  There they could see a boy dressed in an all black jumpsuit, and another boy dressed in a black.  Hmph guess I missed the memo to wear all black...  Losing more and more enthusiasm as he approached the two, it took everything he had not to turn around and leave.  Chopper on the other hand was delighted as always to meet new people, and was eager to introduce himself.  At first he wanted to stop him but, the look on the two boys faces would be worth it.  "Please to meet you my name is Tony, but you can call me Chopper!"  Suutei caught up to Chopper standing behind him, he took a cold glimpse at the other Genin that had already arrived.  This followed by a blank stare at Toshiko, "Suutei.  Suutei Kimura.  Before we go I want to get one thing clear to both of you.  Stay out of my way.  Or...I will kill you.  Its nothing personal I just hate being held back."  The mellow dramatic tone in Suuteis voice was impeccably frightening, usually he wasn't like this.  Maybe 69% of the time he was, but with Suutei things were very spontaneous. Once the fourth member of their party arrived he would move on, he was already sure how to get to Kirigakure from studying a map of the 5 Nations over two years again.

"It's nice to meet you too." Keith said as he stood there still looking slightly awkward about meeting someone above him in such a manner. It was cool that he was basically kind of new to being a chuunin but either way Keith could learn a lot from this trip not to mention someone else should be coming along and there is no doubt that he will be stronger than Keith. This was only evident because Keith was literally just starting out even as a genin. It was funny how things worked really. He almost couldn't wait to meet the next guy but at the same time he didn't really want to because he was too worried about being awkward with this other person. Not that he was always awkward, he just was today mostly since he was starting out and didn't know much about doing any of this especially leaving the village he knew and loved. This was so different but he knew he had to do it eventually if he was to become a full fledged shinobi. Soon though, the other guy approached with some animal?

After hearing Toshiko talk to the chopper, Keith as well gave his own greeting. "Hi, my name is Keith. It's a pleasure to meet such an enthusiastic little guy." It was a little weird to be taking to a little reindeer to be honest but Keith had to look past that since everything would be rather different from now on. It was all just a matter of perspective anyways, right? The other genin showed up walking slowly, really, up to the group. he seemed to be in a bad mood, maybe. "Suutei. Suutei Kimura. Before we go I want to get one thing clear to both of you. Stay out of my way. Or...I will kill you. Its nothing personal I just hate being held back." He said. This rubbed Keith the wrong way already and they haven't even began to the traveling yet. But he decided not to say anything to him, not even a proper greeting because he knew that it would all turn bad anyways. He just looked at him and turned away looking back to Toshiko to see what else he had to say before they left.

It was cool that Toshiko considered us all equals on this little journey of ours. He was being so sincere in his speech and he showed that he was still look after us as the leader and superior. Obviously he was a chuunin for a reason, right? So why wouldn't he be the one to look after us? Finally, he ended what he had to say and everyone went off to start the journey with the first of many steps over the border.
