Several days had passed since his wounds had healed as he traveled deep within the cave to find out what had been seeking him. As he made his way deeper into the darkness, he had a shadow close to him. He knew it was there, he knew it would follow him no matter where he went. His heart had told him to turn back now or he would never be able to leave this path, but his heart also told him that if he turned his back on his own destiny now he would end up running away for the rest of his life.

Walking towards the danger, towards the darkness that called to him as he came closer to finding what he seeked. As he touched his hand on a strange marking on the cavern walls there was an opening which allowed air to flow but was completely pitch black with nothing to help you see your way through. A hand reached out to him as he turned his head to look back. "Emma?" as he looked towards her she gulped before replying. "Do not go there, come back home with me. Please do not enter the darkness", as he looked towards the darkness he told her the last thing he would ever say to her again. "Please, go home"

As she stood there being stubborn, he was equally stubborn and entered into the darkness as she followed. He heard a noise and arrows shot from random directions, using only what he could hear and his ability to sense changes within the air he evaded all the arrows easily as he kept making his way forward with light steps. His feet were getting used to the ground which seemed to welcome him. Emma was fine as she kept up with him having evaded the arrows using her clans technique. She had to keep up with him as she followed him to find out where he was going, she did not understand what he was seeking but someone told her to stop him no matter the cost.

It was dark inside the cave as he continued to travel further down the rabbit hole as she kept up with him, as he avoided several traps that would have easily killed most genin. As he reached towards the end he saw a bright light as he entered it was a village hidden within the cave which seemed to have an artificial sun that lit up the entire area as he looked up in awe. Emma covered her eyes as this place was too bright for most and something about this place did not seem right at all. He could not see the darkness anywhere as he wondered if his instincts had gotten sloppy, or whether he took a wrong turn and was lost. Just as he thought about turning back he noticed the entrance was gone as he looked passed Emma who turned her head slowly and learned the same thing.

He then decided to venture towards what looked like a village which had many buildings and he did not see any people, but he had to find out and learn more about this place which he was led towards. As Emma stuck close to his side she grabbed hold of his arm as he just let her do as she wanted. When they finally reached the first house noticing a glittering sparkling river that reflected multiple lights he noticed someone sitting and fishing as he approached the person it appeared to be an old woman as she looked to them and said.

"Welcome to the Village of the Shimmershine"

As the young boy entered deeper into the village guided by the strange fishing lady, he began to wonder why he was here and what he had come for. Emma who was close behind him was not happy as the lady just told her to stick close to them which bothered her. As they walked further they met with some people who were all smiling and full of joy, there was happyness everywhere and this was something that he began to find really annoying. Why were these people so happy, as he looked down feeling left out.

He kept on following until they reached a door, it was a strange door and an old man sat on the right and a young woman on the left. he did not get what this meant but as soon as he entered he fell down a hole. He fell for what seemed like an a few minutes as he drew out his sword piercing it into the wall to slow down his fall as he gripped onto his sword with all his strength, he heard a scream from above as he tried to figure out what was going on when all of a sudden he felt two arms around his neck and the wall broke off as his sword was strong but the wall was not. They fell down the rabbit hole but where did it take them.
