Kazuma Watanabe

Kazuma was amazed at the architecture of the large stadium in front of him; it had been the first time he had ever stepped foot in the coliseum, although by all technicality it was the first time he had stepped in Iwa. The reason for this was that he lived primarily outside of Iwa for most of his life; only coming within seeing distance of the place to trade with other travelers, or waiting for his parents from their shopping escapades, never really entering the village on his own.

Of course, a few years later he decided to change that, deciding on first using his freedom as a ninja from a ronin family to visit the village he spent most of his life near. That and he was running out of money, so he decided to see if there was anything that needed to be done for a little bit of pay.

And, a sidetrack or two later, he ended up here.  So, what was one to do but train a little bit?

Coming to a stop in the middle of the stadium, he would begin stretching in hopes someone might walk in to train with him…

Suteki Yaku followed the staircase upwards into the large mountain within Iwagakure.  She had been told stories about this place, but never ventured to go their.  Though, it was limited to only those that were certified as having been trained to be shinobi.  Even then, she hadn't the urge to come here.  But today, she felt adventurous.  Suteki would watch for the most part, see what it was all about.  And if it seemed useful, might give her hand a try at whatever it was that occurred within this mountain.

After reaching a flat area, a cave lead inwards into the mountain, and she continued following the corridor.  After about 30 meters, the rock face opened up and revealed a huge chasm.  Lights lit up the entire area, casting the huge coliseum in a pale light.  It was certainly a spectacle.  The building was gigantic, easily eclipsing any other building in the village.  And to forge a huge opening on top of it, was just as amazing.  Suteki continued walking towards the opening, seeing a few people walking about outside of the building.  It almost seemed a shame to use this building only for training, it could easily be used for...so many other events.  Suteki was no inside the coliseum and after a few minuets was out in the open again.  Below, she saw a few people sitting around talking, and below in the center, about 4 people training.  Three of them seemed to be doing some form of taijutsu exerciser, doing slow motion attacks and defensive blocks.  Though it wasn't immensely slow, it seemed more like an excessive of the mind than of strength, speed and stamina.  She continued watching, as they slowly began to increase speed, yet still nothing like real fighting.  She looked around some more, seeing another was standing in the center, doing nothing really, seeming to look around.  For now she grabbed a seat, and watched to see what this place was all about.

It would seem the actions in the coliseum died out slowly as she continued to watch. Suteki stood up and looked around, slightly bored now that the action died out. She was expecting something to happen, after all this was a battle coliseum. She hadn't been hoping for bloody battles or dismemberment, but some taijutsu training buffed nice looking guys would have been a nice showing. But in this visit, she just wasted her effort it seemed. She started to head to the exit, back down the steps, and back into the blaring lights of the outside world.
