Well, Saya was finally a genin. She was very proud of herself, but now another obstacle lay before her. She had to meet the Mizukage and get assigned to a squad. As if getting matched up with two other shinobi who would no doubt make fun of her wasn't enough, she actually had to be judged by the Mizukage himself. She knew she had to meet him sooner or later. Every Kiri shinobi did. Still, she would've wanted it to happen later, like years from now.

She sighed and stopped in front of the door to his office. She hesitated before knocking, her fist hanging in the air. Had she forgotten anything? She had gotten up earlier today, just to spend extra time on her hair and her clothes. She'd be damned if her dress had a single spot or wrinkle. And if she'd find a single strand of hair out of her pigtail she'd probably bang her head against a wall. She brushed off some imaginary dust off her dress, then raised her hand again. She started to hesitate again, but swallowed and knocked three times. Placing her hands in front of herself she struck a very neutral but polite pose.

As I sat in my office today, the day was pretty empty. My paper work was less than usual, meaning I had more time on my hands. So I thought it would be clever to read and memorize EVERY single file on EVERY single shinobi and future shinobi of Kirigakure. A lot of the files were quite intresting, not something most people would read. His ANBU team of the Mist were highly skilled even,not a group that I would personally want to deal with.

As I finished off the third stack out of fourty, the stacks scattered on the sides of the room, against the walls, in a neat, but messy, fashion, I heard a knock on the door. Well more like heard the door move, since the walls were sound proof and all, it was difficult to hear any sounds. I stood up and walked over to the door, opening it.

There stood a girl with pink hair, an unusual color really. Her entire apperance seemed very neat and sorted, as if preparing for hours. I smiled down at her. "Hello there. Please come in." I said with a gesture as I walked back to my desk. As I was about to sit down I held out my hand to the chair infront of me. "Please. Take a seat." I said as I soon sat down. "What can I help you with young lady?" I asked with a slight tilt of my head.

I wore my normal attire(avy pic) with my Mizukage hat on the desk, the front of the hat facing the door, and my cloack hanging on the back of my big, comfy, chair.

The door opened, and before her stood a rather tall young man. If she had to guess she'd say he was in his twenties, but she was horrible at guessing ages. She had only seen the Mizukage from afar before, but she had to admit that he looked much nicer up close. He didn't seem scary at all.

Even so, it took her a few moments to muster the strength to say something, and when she had finally opened her mouth he had already turned around. She kept silent and followed him to a chair. She took a deep breath, all too obvious, then bowed deeply. "I'm Hozuki Saya, Mizukage-sama. I've recently been named genin, and I was directed here to be assigned to a squad." She sat down, correcting the end of her dress as she did and then placed her hands in her lap. "If you're not too busy, ofcourse." She put on an smile. The Mizukage acted in a way that calmed her nervousity down a bit, she was feeling more secure by the minute.

As the girl said her name, I began to think of every file I came across that involved a Hozuki clan member. I stood up and walked over to a nearby pile of papers and squatted down and began to flip through them,without even looking. After a momment of flipping, counting each flip. I pulled out the sixty-seventh paper in the pile. It was a Squad paper that instated members. It was the girl's paper after all, my memory wasn't failing me.

I walked over to my desk, as I did so I quickly examined the paper. "Well Ms.Saya, I am pleased to announce that you have been chosen to be apart of Squad 1. As a matter of fact even, I will be your Squad Leader. Pleasure to meet you Saya Hozuki. I am Hikou Misora." I spoke my last to sentences, holding out my hand to shake the girls hand in congradulations.

The few seconds Saya stood still could only be described as shock. Squad 1? With the Mizukage himself as her squad leader? Was this some kind of practical joke? She snapped out of it in time to see Hikous hand stretched out, and shook it gently. "Y-You're going to be my leader, Mizukage-sama? I'ts an honor!" She exclaimed one part excited, one part nervous. This was beyond her imaginations, to be perfectly honest. Her father would be so proud. Speaking of which...

"Excuse me for asking, but who are my squadmates?" She wondered who they'd be. They must be some pretty amazing individuals to study under the Mizukage, though then again she had also been chosen. No, being chosen for this spot could only be a good thing. She would definetely do her best!

As she asked about her squad members I remembed the other two members of the squad, not the new ones, but the first three members, two who have disappeared into the world. Such a shame really, but life must go on. "Your two squad members are Hiragana Kisame and Yukue Aisu." I told the girl, retracting my hand all ready and putting them behind my head as I talked to the girl. "You should meet them. I believe I will put the four of us on a little mission soon enough." I told the girl with a smile. "For now just relax and train."

This was very interesting. Ofcourse she knew about the Kisame. They were known to be powerful. It was a no-brainer as to why there would be one on the Mizukages squad. The other clan was only familiar to her, so she couldn't say much about that. She was a Hozuki, and part of why she was selected must have been because of that. She hoped she could live up to the expectations of everyone and become a good representative of her clan.

A mission, huh? That would be a good way to learn more about the others, definetely. "I will, Mizukage-sama. I promise to do all I can at all times!" She said with a small bow of her head. It was her way of the ninja, after all. She thought through the situation for a moment, double-checking if there were anything else that she needed to ask before leaving. As she couldn't think of any, she bowed once more. "I'll be leaving you to your work. Thank you for seeing me." She shone a bright smile, anxiousness replaced with confidence, and turned around to leave the building. This definetely went better than expected. She couldn't wait to tell her dad!

I grinned as the girl walked out of the office. She was going to be an interesting addition to the team. A happy edition though. Happiness was something that the squad needed. I leaned back in my chair and looked up at the ceiling. "Looks like I got a full squad. We should begin do that mission..." I thought to myself as I sat there.
