A long, drawn out yawn escaped from Takao's lips as he walked down a faded dirt road. It was a nice enough day to justify a nice walk around the many rural areas of the village, so he had decided to do just that. One short walk around the village and a well deserved nap afterward, Takao found himself walking alongside a stream. He didn't have any sort of direction, he was simply walking along without much thought to his destination. As Arata approached the lush, grassy hills outside of the village, the strong aroma immediately clouded his judgment.

His forward walking motion had immediately come to a halt as he looked over at the hills. He turned and walked up the closest of the rolling hills and examined his surroundings. The place seemed so familiar, but he knew he'd never been there before. It certainly wasn't a sight he would forget. Takao lowered himself down to a sitting position, leg crossed over the other. His hands were brought together to form a seal, though clearly not one meant for molding chakra. He was meditating normally, as a method of clearing his mind. It was the perfect place, the quiet serenity and tranquility of the rolling hills couldn't be a better location.

Black eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the sunlight filtering through the treetop. He'd been awakened by something; the soft footsteps of another approaching? Or was it the very loud, and very annoying call of the messenger hawk circling above? Either way, the male groaned some, shifting his body upon the tree limb uppon which he lay.

Getting comfortable once more, the male closed his eyes again, taking note of the sounds of the world around him. Given sounds of the approaching person, Naota would wager that they were somewhere beneath him. He doubted he was seen, his dark clothes and the natural darkness of the canopy would see to that even from his low position. Taking a deep breath, the male yawned as his eyes closing once more. Perhaps it was time to find a new hiding place; people were starting to find this place more frequently....

Takao's left eye slowly flickered opened after a few minutes of meditation. He had the slightest feeling that he was being watched, but he dismissed it just as quickly as the feeling became apparent. All of the sounds he heard worked in harmony to bring him to peace, the tranquility of the area was calming. Takao closed his left eye again as he returned to his meditation.

It wasn't more than five minutes before Takao began to sway back and forth. Within seconds he had fallen over onto his back, snoring loudly atop the grassy hill. It was just to peaceful, and Takao couldn't help himself. It could've been a crime to pass up the opportunity to nap if you asked Takao, but he was a little preoccupied with being asleep now to think about anything else. His dedication to consistently wasting time with napping was truly something to behold.
