Mitsuo

Mitsuo

His gentle light blue eyes lock with mine as he runs his fingers along my cheek and smiles that soft smile. He is wiping the tears that fall from my eyes. I can’t help it, I’m just so happy. I have missed him more than anything, he is my everything and he is my reason to live. I love him so much that it hurts me to think that one day he may be gone from me. As I move in closer to him I plant a soft kiss on his lips, brushing mine against his softly, my one hand moving to rest in the small of his back and my other going up to run through his short spiked hair. Kimaru closes his eyes and I close mine, not wishing for the moment to end as we embrace for what seems like an eternity, and one well spent at that. Nothing can compare to the feeling I feel when I am in his arms…Nothing…

As Mitsuo awoke he had tears in his eyes, something that had become quite common since he had come to Iwagakure no Sato and had been taken into the Aoi Bara mansion. He knew exactly why it was happening; he had been reminded of his dead lover every single day, every time he saw his brother Tsuyo. Every night since coming here he had dreamt of Kimaru and nothing else, his heart aching and his soul screaming. He didn’t know exactly what to expect when he had come to Iwagakure no Sato, but he certainly hadn’t expected to run into Tsuyo Hyuga, and it had made him extremely conflicted. His heart had been broken on that fateful day and he hadn’t had a chance to really talk to Tsuyo about it as of yet, but he knew that he would shortly have his chance. The two of them were to go on a mission together, somewhat of a field test of sorts for Mitsuo. He was looking forward to the opportunity to do some good and work with one of the most revered Konoha nin of his generation. The two of them would be taking down a major drug lord, one of the most powerful in the world, and Mitsuo would be happy to be putting his ANBU prowess to good use once more.

He looked around the comfortable room and smiled softly, this room being more lavish than even he was used to back home at the Sarutobi Compound. He walked into his personal shower and stripped down, stepping in to wash the sweat off of him, turning on the water and making it warm, enjoying the feel of it running down his slim but muscular frame. He had cut his hair since arriving in Iwa and was still adjusting to it being its current length, not having to use more than a pea sized dab of shampoo and conditioner to clean it anymore. As he lathered his hair and washed his body he prepared himself mentally for what was to come. Technically what they were doing was considered murder and would also be illegal. Mitsuo had never considered himself to be a criminal and was not sure he was quite prepared for what was to come, so steeling himself to the situation was what he had decided to do. As he stepped out of the shower and towelled himself off, he looked at himself in the mirror and smiled softly, using a small dab of gel to spike his hair back before pulling on undergarments and walking into the main room.

Sitting on an armour stand that he had personally requested was his set of ANBU armour, which he had fixed up since his exodus to Iwagakure no Sato. He took it off of the stand and began to meticulously apply each piece of it to his body, covering his torso and legs, while he strapped on his bracers and gauntlets. He had done this so many times before it had become somewhat of a ritual, something he didn’t really have to think of. Instead of adorning his typical white travelling cloak which would set him out as the ANBU Captian however, he instead reached for a new cloak that he had received since coming here. It was black with a blue rose on the front, the cloak of the Aoi Bara. He sighed as he pulled it on over his head, the material hiding his armour nicely and also hiding his shape. Where he would normally pull on his custom ANBU mask, which had a kanji that marked him out to be the Head of Konoha’s ANBU upon the forehead, he instead pulled on a wolf mask with a leaf on it, hiding most of his face and making it so that he would be utterly unrecognizable.

The last thing that he did before leaving his room was move to the walls and begin dismounting his weapons. He took Seijin no Ken and Chita no Kiba and strapped the two of them to his waist, the familiar feeling comforting him as he brushed his fingers across the tsuka of his oldest and most treasured weapons. They had seem many battles together and had helped Mitsuo through a lot of trouble. Next he took his Sword of the Immortal Blaze, the bastard sword that he himself had forged high in the Iron Mountains with his master, Sasori Hiroshi, and strapped it to his back. The familiar warmth of the blade always made him smile. As he looked to the wall he saw the final blade that he would bring with him, the newest of his collection. This blade was called Messiah, it was a Nodachi that had a beautiful floral pattern on its Saya of purples and whites, the Tsuka being purple and silver and having a small string with a flower attached. The blade was inlayed with the Kanji 救世主, reading Kyūseishu or Messiah, and it had a pristine cutting edge. This was the blade that had been gifted to Mitsuo by the new Hokage, Mitsuhide before he had left the village. It was something that he would treasure and that he hoped one day he could return. He strapped it to his back carefully, crossing it with his Bastard Sword, and then made ready to leave. Once he was ready he made his way out, imagining that Tsuyo would already be waiting at the mountains for him.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It didn’t take Mitsuo long to travel to where he was going, his cloak flowing behind him in the wind as he ran along his path, his more than impressive speed taking him to his destination in the time it would take most to barely get out of the village. As he approached the mountains where their intel had told them the enterance of the cave would be, he stopped and awaited the appearance of his companion, staying as quiet as a shadow, and preparing himself to enter and get to work on his first mission as a part of the Aoi Bara.

Tsuyo had been shifting through his paperwork. His information network was ever growing but it could only grow so fast. He needed to cough up resources to pay his people and feed them. And the sheer number of them was taking up a small part of the revenue from the business. Now while the import export cover business was far from failure, As it was actually turning a sizable profit. His goals where no where near complete. So he muttered to himself under his breath as he looked over the reports under the lights in the office. It would of been simpler if he wasn't so distracted. With Mitsuo around and his brother not his mind would drift between emotions. His sleep was rough and he woke up sweating through out the night. His egyptian cotton sheets doing little to break the sweat. He worried for once about some one he had always considered safer with him gone. Now he wasn't so sure. But that was only half the problem. Mitsuo had always been a good kid. He would need to see for himself if those moral standards would prevent him from doing what must be done. He could only hope that training as an ANBU had hardened the kid up some. The world they where in now made even the strong bleed. Little could be said for the weak.

He shifted through some papers before grabbing a folder under the books marked confidential. Ah a gift from the man in the police force. Their studies had led to the investigation into a man who was rumored to control the drug trade. However the man was filthy rich and his lawyers where more expensive then the prosecution. Heh ad gotten out with the charges dismissed. However Tsuyo believed other wise. This man had no record of how his wealth had come about. No legitimate business. Just a politician no one could hold on to. Tsuyo had a bet about some sort of drug money. But there was more. A vault where he supposedly kept his wealth was in the basement. Stacks of drug money. Sure it was dirty money but that much ryo was likely to put his business above the rest. And he had his goals to rid the world of illegal drugs and slavery. So he grinned a little and sent word for Mitsuo to suit up. And provided a slip of paper with the information regarding the mission with his personal seal on it. A wolves head. The mission would be on the following day. And just the two of them.

The next day Tsuyo bathed with scented candles He loved the smell of so many flowers. But the bath was relaxing his muscles. The sweat and usual daily grime washed free. He would have another one of these prepped for him on his return. To help wash off all the blood. The smell of the dead to be washed down the drain. However he could not remain in the bath all day. Rising from the water the female maid standing to the side brought him a towel. She was pretty and he preferred pretty women in his bathing room. He even smiled as she tried to look anywhere but at his naked form. He continued to smile as he dried off before reaching for his tailored clothes. No armor for him. Instead he would put on his slacks and a simple button up shirt with his shiny black combat boots. He was far from his usual attire but still decent enough clothes to let him feel the wealth he possessed. As he excused the maid he walked over to the closet. Removing the hidden upper panel to pull down his Black hooded robe with the blue rose on it. He looked over the blood stains on it that had not come out no matter how much it had been washed. Primarily around the bottom rim was stained red where he had walked through the blood of his slain enemies.

Never the less he slipped into the hooded robe and reached out grabbing the demon wolf ball room mask. Before strapping it to his face. Hiding the upper half. Lastly he would pull the hood up and slip on some black gloves. He hated blood on his hands. He waited for the maid to go on her break before slipping out. His superior speed getting him off the complex unnoticed. He never liked to many people knowing when he was on the move. So he traveled on foot in silence through the mountain range. His silver eyes looking about in silence as he moved with out even a fluttering noise in the robes. He spotted Mitsuo blending into the mountain side as he approached and landed nearby. Before speaking with no concern about being heard.

"The target is at the base of this mountain some where. We kill him and steal his ryo so none of his competitors can come in and use it for their means. We burn any drugs we find. Oh and. No witnesses. Lethal force is warranted. They will not hesitate to spill our blood. Do not hesitate to stop their hearts from beating."

Mitsuo Sarutobi scanned the area, watching for any potential threats, although he didn’t imagine there were many here who could possibly defeat him. He wasn’t so much nervous about the possibility of dying as he was the loss of a part of him. Being a criminal went against everything that Mitsuo had fought for so long. He would have to go to a place that he didn’t often have to go to, the same place he went when he murdered the elders of the Karisuma clan, the same place he went to when he slaughtered the bandits in the sand, and the same place he went to for the first time after his brother. Thinking of his brother’s death was enough to turn the switch in his brain that turned him from the kind and gentle Mitsuo into the ideal killing machine, becoming more like a sword than anything, sharp and to the point. Where he may have been shaking before he was completely still, his body going into more of a primal hunter mode. He was looking for something, watching as another robed figure came to land beside him and spoke to him, telling him to leave no witnesses. This wouldn’t be a problem to the Sword Saint, no witnesses was something he was quite good at.

He nodded his acknowledgement, speaking as well in a low but also not necessarily quiet voice; “When this is done, we need to talk…about him…” Mitsuo looked towards the mountain and formed a quick hand sign before everything changed for him. He could specifically see the chakra signatures of the people inside the base of the mountain, smiling to himself and looking for likely entrances. He was counting off chakra signatures, noting exactly how many guards there were inside the compound. “There are twenty four sources of chakra inside, the three most powerful surrounding the weakest. It would be easy to assume this is their leader and our target. They seem to be separated from the rest of them more so than any others so I imagine they’re in a different room. I can see two fairly powerful ones standing close together not too far from those four, and then another two standing side by side as far from those as possible, which I’m imagining is our entrance. Looks like this will be a challenge worthy of a field test of your new Master of Blades, don’t you think?”

Mitsuo smirked as he made his way towards what he assumed to be the entrance, where the two powerful chakra signatures were emanating from, looking towards the walls and breaking his sensory jutsu in order to find something that didn’t seem to belong, not taking him long before he was able to find what seemed to be a large vine covering an odd crack. He smiled and brushed the vines away, bringing his fingers to run along the crack in the stone wall. Once he found the notch he pressed it and quickly moved his hand back to rest on the Tsuka of his Katana, the other hand gripping the Saya as his thumb popped the tsuba and knocked the blade loose. As soon as the door was opened his blade flashed out of the Saya, slicing through where he knew the first guard was clean through the man’s neck and sending his head flying, splattering arterial blood all over the place. Mitsuo was still in motion and before the head fell from the neck his sword was making its way back into his Saya and when it finally did he was pulling out his Tanto, Chita no Kiba, and hurling it at the second guard who had no idea what had just happened to his partner. It got itself lodged in the man’s shoulder, at which he screamed and alarmed the rest of the room, and Mitsuo grabbed the handle of his Sword of the Immortal Blaze, pulling it up so that the tip was straight up and then slightly falling forward before adding his right hand further up on the hilt in order to quickly snap it directly down into the man’s neck, cleaving through him down into his stomach. As the man fell Mitsuo cleared the doorway and put a boot to the man’s chest, pulling the blade free, which was already incinerating the man, before grabbing his tanto and resheathing it. He moved out of the way so that Tsuyo would be able to enter quickly after him and the two of them could get to work.

As soon as the first two guards were dead, Mitsuo kept his back to the wall so that nobody would be able to sneak up behind him and, upon Tsuyo entering the room, he would make sure the door closed. He took the point of his Sword of the Immortal Blaze and pointed it towards the ground, his left hand at the very base of the handle and his right towards the crossguards, making so that there was a space between the two and giving the weapon a perfect fulcrum so that he would be able to quickly snap it up into any opponent’s chest or stomach, were someone foolish enough to charge him. He had his right foot forward, both toes also pointing forward and he stared straight ahead, as though beckoning people to come and dare to fight him with his eyes. A wicked grin slashed across his face as he was truly in his element, his skill with a blade having so far been unmatched by any he had ever met. Even the great Sousetsu Senju hadn’t bested him in a sword duel. Mitsuo began to advance towards his enemy, his entire body loose as he prepared to launch a devastating assault on the people on the left side of the room, his fools guard ready to strike at any second and his mind completely steeled to any emotion so that he couldn’t be sickened by what he was doing, nor could he possibly feel glee in killing.

As he looked he noticed a handful of ninja standing in front of him who seemed like lambs led to a slaughter. Mitsuo scanned and could see mountains of different powders and herbs, all of which he suspected were the drugs that their target was so famous for. He would burn the entire stock of it to the ground in due time, but for now killing the guards and mutilating the drug lord took priority, because as Tsuyo had told him, an example needed to be made here today, and he wouldn’t rest until his mission was complete. The low hanging lights were swinging above them and, were Mitsuo’s entire face shown right now, his eyes would be ablaze and the shadows would truly make him look like a man possessed…

Tsuyo was fairly satisfied with the reaction he was given. The man seemed cold. As if he had already steeled himself for the blood bath below. Tsuyo could not help but smile at the reaction. The words however where spoken and he listened carefully. The mans tone incredibly calm. "A wolf does not consider the sheep a challenge brother. The Challenge is if you can slaughter the sheep and not shed tear for them. For they are stained and diseased,"

Only then would he move with a quiet and calm grace. Not as fast as Mitsuo but easily keeping him with in sight. After all losing track of the man would mean he would have to find where he went and miss out on it. Still the man was agile. He reached his destination and wasted no time in opening the door. Nor in dispatching of the two man within. The scream echoed out the entrance into the valley for a moment. The sounds of men within was satisfying. Apperently from the startled noises Mitsuo had made a very showy entrance. He would have to step up his own game.

As Mitsuo moved out of the way Tsuyo entered. The torches that lit the mountain hide away seemed to nearly go out as his presence filled the room. The door slid closed behind him and he smiled. He could feel their fear. They where afraid of Mitsuo but the moment Tsuyo had entered the flames dimmed and nearly died. Tsuyo took one step forward as his boots splashed in the blood and he let the sound of the slow step echo in the chamber. Death had come for them and in their time of dying these two terror's felt like eternity as they slowly descended upon them. In the dim light their shadows towered behind them making them appear bigger then they where. Tsuyo let loose his chakra pressure now And the torches went out completely. The light from the lamps in the other rooms casting a faint glow from under the door and from the ones that lit the drugs. The Genin sell swords all began to collapse as if they had been struck. Drowning in their own spit as they choked for air, Unable to stand his presence. Even the chunnin gained labored breath and terror filled their eyes as they shook where they stood. It was then that Tsuyo spoke. His voice booming out across the entry.

"Ye though the sheep stood before the wolf and did tremble, The wolf felt no pity. For the sheep had strayed from the safety of the shepherd and chosen the path of filth. This was ney the slaying of men but of broken beasts. Souls to tarnished to be redeemed. On a midwinter night the blood did flow across the cold stones of the mountain and retribution was found."

As he finished Mitsuo had already blocked off the left side. The genin had already drowned in their own spit. Glazed over eyes on each within the room. And the Chunnin where breathing heavily and sweating. One of them raised his fists in a fighting stance and charged shouting "Screw you!" Tsuyo simply moved to the side as if he where as fluid as water. His hand reached up to slam palm first into the mans face. There was a squirt of blood as he shoved the mans nose into his brain. A loud bang sounded from the impact as it seemed to move slowly for a second. Tsuyo never shifted his feet and only moved his arm. But the result was the dead chunnin flying back into the wall and splattering against it as it split his skull. His life less form hanging where it indented the wall had enough to hold him there. The other three Chunnin charged him all at once screaming in desperation. One kicked at the face while the other two went for sliding leg sweeps. Tsuyo was much faster though. He placed his hand on the foot of the one Chunnin aiming for his face And jumped flipping forward he used his grip on the ankle as a guide before coming down with both feet on the chunnins chest smashing him into the ground so hard he collapsed the rip cage. In the same down ward decent his hand let go of the ankle to slam one hand into each of the chunnin's necks that went for the leg sweeps. Bouncing their heads of the stone floor with a sickening crack and a spurt of blood out of their mouths. All the ones on the left side of the room where dead. Rising Tsuyo stepped over the dead men around him looked over to see how Mitsuo was doing. The whole battle had lasted no more then 5 seconds for him.

The room was full of blue lights, the lights of the chakra signatures of his opponents. He knew that they would eventually all be gone but he had no way to have known what was about to happen. There was something else entering the room behind him, something with a more powerful chakra signature than he had ever seen. He was amazed as he watched a red dragon circle the room and the feint lights of the chakra of the genin go out one by one until none of them were left standing. This was the awesome power of Tsuyo Hyuga, this is why Mitsuo had been told to use extreme caution if he were ever to approach this man. The signatures of the Chuunin in the room began to dim and Mitsuo couldn’t help but be surprised and a little awe inspired. He was nearly too shocked to act, nearly but not quite. As the lights went out in the room and all that was left was the chakra signatures of their opponents and dimly lit lamps in other rooms, Mitsuo decided it was time to make his move. He almost felt bad for these people…almost…but then he remembered they were drug dealing scum and that this mission would bring him one step closer to removing their kind from the world completely.

There was confusion in the room as the dragon made his way to the left, Mitsuo himself going towards the right, his bastard sword being hurled into the wall behind the confused chuunin and embedding itself there. He would remember to get it back once every single person in this small group was taken care of, and he would use it in the battle to come, but for now he was completely focused, the flaming blade lighting the way and flying directly past 3 of the chuunin, cutting the fourth and causing a large burn where the cut had happened, causing another yelp of pain. He had done what he wanted to do; he had put them on the defensive and backed them close to one another. This was where he would use his speed to his advantage. He smirked once more, thumb again popping the blade slightly out of its Saya and his other hand holding it for a quick draw so that he would be able to pop it out quickly as he did before at the door.

Mitsuo ran as quickly as he could after his sword, which was nearly as fast as the sword itself moved. In the confusion of it all their enemies watched the sword fly past their faces, a fatal mistake for two of them as Mitsuo ran past immediately after, while they were standing side by side, and drew the Seijin no Ken in a right to left slash from an elevated position, chopping through the first man’s neck with ease and slicing the second’s jugular vein. He was clutching his hand to his neck, falling to his knees completely useless at this point and Mitsuo stopped paying him heed, moving his attention to the other men in front of him instead. There were two more drug dealing chuunin standing slightly apart from one another but directly in front of the drugs. He placed the top of his blade between his thumb and pointer finger and quickly placed it into his Saya before bringing his hands up to his throat and inhaling deeply, filling his lungs with chakra before he exhaled a cloud of gunpowder laced ash which filled the area around the drugs and the two men. Once the cloud had settled in he bit down on the flint in his teeth sparking the cloud.

K-TCH!

The explosion was magnificent and, to the men standing in the dimly lit room, it would also be quite blinding. Mitsuo had wisely closed his eyes before biting down, knowing exactly what would happen to him if he didn’t, and he opened them to see the two men weren’t standing there anymore, and that all of the drugs were burning, the only man left standing in the room being one of the men guarding the door, who was coming at him quickly. Mitsuo chuckled and ran towards the man before jumping, sailing right over his head, and landing so his feet hit the wall where he would grab his Sword of the Immortal Blaze and dislodge it from the wall, pushing off once again and bringing the blade forward in a cross body slash. The opponent would quickly bring up his Katana to block, showing more skill than the others he had killed so far in the room, but still he would end up coming short against the Sword Saint of Konoha. Mitsuo would regain his footing and bring his weapon into a guard where his left foot was forward, his right hand back and beside his body, left slightly in front and blade pointed towards his opponent’s face. He would then throw a thrust at his face, causing the opponent to bring his sword up to block. The thrust itself was a fake as Mitsuo then would twirl his blade down, hacking off the man’s right leg and coming back up as he fell into the left side of his skull, splitting it in two like a melon.

He imagined that the other guard was going to assist the second set of shinobi that Tsuyo had been dealing with and he glanced over to see if his companion was in trouble, not thinking for a second that he would be. He then turned to admire his handiwork, watching as the drugs on the left side of the room were blazing in an intense inferno, the sheer heat almost overwhelming to Mitsuo himself as he looked back away and walked up to the door to the office. He could see that the weak chakra source had moved to the far side of the office, which didn’t surprise Mitsuo, the three guards standing in an odd formation, with two on the right hand side and one in front, none on the left for some reason. Mitsuo waited until Tsuyo had finished with his man before kicking the door in and peeking inside the room, where he quickly noticed he had made a mistake. As he scanned the room it was easy to identify his target, the man with the moustache sitting at the back of the room, and the three brightest chakra signatures in the room as well, but what he had failed to notice was the fifth man in the room, something Mitsuo should have expected he may have run into here.

The man was nearly the mirror image of what Mitsuo had looked like before, the mask covering his face and armour all over his body which blocked even the most advanced of sensory jutsus. Mitsuo should have known that this man would have the resources to employ ex-ANBU in his ranks. The man wore the colours and mask of an Iwagakure no Sato ANBU, something that he imagined Kazu may be interested in learning later, but for now his mind was set on the task at hand, and he figured, due to the blade the man was holding, that this would be his opponent. He looked to the drug lord sitting behind the desk and laughed a deep and hollow laugh.

“Katsunosuki Nomura, you have committed heinous crimes against humanity, including murder, theft, bribery, and above all else, being the largest distributer of illegal narcotics in the free world. I have been gifted the pleasure of ending your life here and now, and I will do so gladly.” As he finished his speech he quickly launched himself into the room, darting to the left hand side past the three unarmed Jounin and crashing right into the unsuspecting ANBU agent, driving him into the corner and allowing Tsuyo to make his entrance and letting the more powerful shinobi deal with the rest…

Well if nothing else Tsuyo could say the man was dedicated to his swordsmanship. The art behind his reminded him of a certain chapel he wished to see one day. He smiled behind his mask at the onslaught. After all the chunnin never had a chance at defying such a man. Tsuyo could feel it. Even though the man before him didn't unleash it like he did. He could tell when a dragon was chained. He could feel it roaring each time the man used a jutsu. A Dragon with golden wings stretching to break free. He could just barely see it with his eyes as untrained as they where. But it was enough to know it was there. This man before him was another just like him. Only his Dragon was only slightly stained in blood. Tsuyo's was bathed in it. However Tsuyo saw the movements to prepare for a jutsu and raised an arm to cover his eyes. Then there was a flash of light and then smoke. The man had lit the drugs on fire. Tsuyo frowned a little at such a preemptive move. After all they where still in the entry way. And some of those narcotics where highly combustible. He had only moments to deal with the guards before the entire entry was engulfed in a flesh eating flame.

Turning to face the guards he saw the one advancing towards him with a stern face. The clang of swords was enough to announce Mitsuo's battle with the other one. Truly Tsuyo didn't have time for this. As the man reached for his Katana Tsuyo leaped forward. He was suddenly eye to eye with the young man as his hand slammed down into the other mans wrist so hard it impaled the mans palm on the blunt hilt. The man screamed but the second move was Tsuyo clocking him in the jaw and snapping it. The pain the man was in denied his training as he sobbed. Tsuyo felt some compassion in that moment as he held the man to him with one arm wrapping around his neck.

"Shh I know it hurts. It's ok. I will end the pain. I am sorry that you had to pay this way for your crimes."

And with that there was a twist and a loud snap. Tsuyo held the body for a moment more. Before setting it down. In his arms was a man just barely and adult with no signs of drug use. His face destroyed. Tsuyo felt his rage building up. As it built he grit his teeth and even the fire of the drugs seemed to blow away from him. He didn't wish to control his rage. The man was using these soldiers as pawns. For his own profit no less. As Mitsuo entered the room and did his speech Tsuyo entered silently behind him. Just enough to close the door. And just in time. There was a bang as the drugs went up and the hall was filled with fire burning the bodies. Leaving no chance of survival. Mitsuo was already in combat with the Anbu but Tsuyo hardly cared. His rage was like fire. To any who could see his chakra the Dragon opened its mighty mouth and let out a mind numbing roar. As for those who had normal eyes they could still see something happening. Brown chakra came to life surging into Tsuyo's fist as he stared at the door. His chakra was clearly visible to everyone in the room. Around his fist brown wolf heads made entirely of chakra formed. It was intense enough for the 3 Jounin to bring up a defense. But it was too late for them.

Tsuyo turned around and with a roar threw his fist in a Straight punch with lightning speed. Still 5 meters from his closest target. The man prepared a counter but that was a falty move. For what he didn't realize is Tsuyo was using his Goliath s fist. From the tip of his fist a wolf head the size of the mans head surged forward and slammed into his chest. The audible sound of the chest being caved in could be heard. Then he went flying back and Smashing into the wall. A choking flood of blood surged out of his mouth as his eyes rolled back and he was dead. The other two tried to seperate but Tsuyo reacted much faster. He focused his chakra into his feet and was suddenly moving at X rank speed. So fast neither of the Jounin saw him move. They both looked around but the one on the right went wide eyed and Shouted Behind you! to the one he was with. But it was to late. Tsuyo slammed a hit into his spine still using Goliaths fist. With the point blank hit the bone and flesh split apart and Tsuyo's fist went right through with the mans intestines flying in chunks across the room. Tsuyo let the body fall as steam came out of his mouth. The last Jounin turned to run in terror screaming for his life as he ran for the door trying to wrench it open even as the handle burned his hands. But Tsuyo was already behind him. The series of rapid blows dented the door in several places but all of them being point blank. All that was left was the blood splatter, Torn Flesh and shattered bones. He then turned to look at the old man who was running screaming for his vault.

"No amount of steel will save you old man. I am your doom."

Focus. This battle was going to be tough and he knew it. Mitsuo could see the determination in the man’s eyes, the hatred and the focus that Mitsuo knew oh too well. He had felt it in the past after his brother was killed, after he held him in his arms and told him that everything would be alright, and had spilled more tears than he cared to think of. Mitsuo Sarutobi had known the feeling of hatred, but in that he had become stronger. He had eventually gotten to a point where he could seal off his emotions completely from his mind, making him into a killing machine. He wasn’t sure if this was something that all ANBU could do, but he knew that it was something that had proved to be quite useful to him several times in the past. He saw the notable difference in the man’s eyes as he switched into a different state and the two former ANBU agents met face to face, squaring off blades drawn and pointed at one another. Their stances were slightly different but Mitsuo knew that was always just up to the preference of the swordsman and his stance often adjusted to counter that of his opponent.

Mitsuo stood, the point of the Sword of the Immortal Blaze pointed towards his opponent’s mask, right between his eyes where Mitsuo could drive the ideal strike. His right hand was back and left up on the hilt and his left foot similarly was forward. His opponent was in the exact same stance, though holding a Katana instead of a Bastard Sword. Mitsuo imagined that the Katana would have a speed advantage, depending on the man’s proficiency with it, but Mitsuo would certainly have a power advantage. He circled around the man, his weapon not moving from its position, and his opponent doing the same. He was prepared to strike at any second and waited for his opening to come, though his opponent did the same. He finally had enough of waiting and swapped his right foot forward as he threw his blade forward, the hilt still in the right hand as it went forward. While he did this he took a step back, once his opponent blocked the shot he drew the blade towards his body, spun on his heel and then moved in to strike again.

The entire battle would be a blur to any onlookers, the two swordsmen striking and blocking at a speed that truly was impressive. Eventually though, Mitsuo would have to make the battle come to an end with the advantages he had. He brought his blade up into a high guard, the enemy in a low and as he brought the blade down the man came up to block. Mitsuo and he were locking eyes through the entire battle, and it was important that they did not waver in that. Mitsuo would use this to his advantage however, flooding his left eye with chakra for the first time since his transplant and activating the doujutsu that he had taken from Synn Karisuma. He wouldn’t know this but his eye flashed Cyan blue before the move took effect, the opponent having a slightly confused look on his face before freezing completely. Mitsuo remembered when Synn had hit him with that move, something that he would never forget due to the feeling of helplessness. As he did this he began focusing all of his fire chakra into his body, superheating everything around him as he did. The heat was so immense it began to cause immediate burns to his opponents skin as Mitsuo walked up to him and put his sword back in place, reaching his hand out and reaching into the man’s chest, the flesh and bone melting around his hand as he did so. It was said that the heart was the part of the body that took the longest to burn, Mitsuo wanted to see just how long it would take as he watched the agony in the man’s eyes as he watched Mitsuo pull his heart out of his chest, burning it in his hands as the man died. He had fought well, but Mitsuo was just that much better.

He turned off his Cloak of the Will jutsu and made his way towards where the vault was, the place he had noticed Tsuyo and their mark had made their way. He walked in behind Tsuyo, his heart surprisingly calm after the combat he had just partaken in. He looked into the fearful eyes of the drug lord, his face stoic with not even a trace of a smile.  “What should we do with him, Brother?” He said in a masked voice, something that he had gotten used to doing when he was in the ANBU to cover his identity further when his mask’s voice masker was faulty. He had his hand back on his Tsuka, but this time the one on his tanto, the Chita no Kiba. He was ready to make whatever kind of display Tsuyo wished of this man, and the Chita no Kiba would be the best tool for any precision torturous job he could possibly think of. He didn’t know if Tsuyo would wish to deal with the man himself or want Mitsuo to do it but he was ready for it. Soaked in the blood of his enemies, Mitsuo stood before the man ready to carry out whatever order was given.

Tsuyo

Tsuyo

D-rank
Tsuyo was oblivious to Mitsuo and his victory as his robes brushed through the blood puddled on the floor. It was how his missions usually ended. The floor was pooling with blood as the extent of the damage through all the rage was coating the floor. The blood beaten out of Tsuyo's opponents. Those silver eyes seemed to shine as the light hit them. The vault door began to close as Tsuyo approached it. Already he was focusing chakra into his muscles. His body seemed to grow as his chakra surged through him. Immense strength was building some intense physical strength inside of him. His whole body seemed to erupt with chakra (Visual chakra flaw) as he let out a breath like a mist of chakra. as the vault door looked like it might close with him on the edge his left hand reached out and gripped the corner of the door. Sparks began to fly as the gears whined trying desperately to close. A load wrenching noise filled the room as the metal around the gears bent and the bolts began to fire out of their spots until a final shower of sparks and the gears died. The vault door swung open.

On the inside the man was hiding behind him money with his face to the wall shaking and crying, He even appeared to be praying. Tsuyo grabbed one of the bars from handles on the inside of the door and ripped it off from its spot like it where a stick. Before he spoke in a calm and slow tone.

"Though the man who buried himself deepest in the filth of the world had become filth himself he did pray. But ye he did not pray for the thousands of lifes he had ruined but his own in one last show of greed. Turn and face me Coward! I shall send you to your god whoever they are for judgement!"

And with that the man turned to plead as if preparing to barter. He lifted his hands as if to show the money in front of him but as his gaze met Tsuyo's the blood filtered from his face. And then Tsuyo broke the metal rod in half over his knee. Before he spin and threw both the rods straight and true. Each jagged end sliding cleanly into the shoulders of the man and then slamming him back against the wall. Tsuyo then walked forward and smiled. grabbing the mans tanto from its hidden sheath. For hours the man screamed as Tsuyo used the dagger and medical jutsu to keep the man alive. After a few hours had passed he walked out and seemed to wash his hands as if his robes wheren't covered in blood. Then he walked back in and tossed out some duffle bags grabbing four of the eight himself. All stuffed with the mans money. He directed Mitsuo to grab the rest and felt the door they had entered from. It was no longer hot. So he opened it and walked out the burnt passage way to head back home. When his clients came for their shipment the next day. They would happen across the hallway full of burnt corpses. Then the room of open mutilation. Upon entering the vault they would find the old man. Hanging from the wall with every internal organ on display and his skin peeled from him. A message written on the wall in blood.

"Today I have blackened my soul. But I do so to save the souls of others. I am beyond redemption. I suggest you seek yours."
