His face turned to rage as she told him that he was essentially fired and had to return to active duty. However, a second later his face turned back to a normal expression. There was no point in getting angry with her, even if she was abusing her power like a despot. The fact of the matter was that he was not employed by the village, but rather for someone who worked for the village, and whilst she might be able to force his boss to close down the dojo or he might be able to order him to leave his job for active duty, she had no idea who that was and since she appeared to care so little for other people, he doubted very much if she would take the time to look up who he worked for and then go out of his way to do something like that. He was beginning to dislike this kage already, but perhaps he was just biased against the position since he had been treated like crap by her predecessor. He was glad that she was unable to make that judgement call, and since she was not going to be able to pull those strings he had no reason to get angry. He had no reason to punch above his belt just yet, and that fact allowed him instead to simply say.

"M'lady, I'm not disrespecting your rank nor your personage when I say this; that little decision isn't in your power to make. The dojo is privately run, and is something that teaches kids taijutsu since the academy's tutorage in that area is so pathetically poor."

--

It was around ten o'clock in the morning, and the sun was shining down through the old windows of the dojo as the class got ready for it's first lesson of the day. It was a rather slow day today, as they didn't have to deal with their normal classes, but their master's teaching seemed to be even more intense and determined than usual. There was a part of their mind that loved it, since he was taking it a lot more seriously than normal (which was really saying something), he was teaching them lessons he would normally have reserved for much later in their training which made everyone a lot more interested. What they liked a little less was his need to make sure they were all doing brilliantly, and they didn't know why.

Konran, on the other hand, knew absolutely why he was having to be the one to be serious and determined here. He didn't like the fact very much, but he had been threatened with active service duty by the Kazekage back in the training grounds, that meant he had to make his students shine like radiant stars. He had even been given a few academy teachers to train, those who seemingly lacked in any taijutsu prowess whatsoever. This was not a good thing, but as he prepared to enter the room, he paused for a moment and gathered their breath.

--

For a few minutes, they had been waiting for their master, and they were beginning to get edgy. He had never failed to turn up before, was it possible something had happened? Was something wrong, did he get hurt? They were all thinking their own little theories when a cloaked form fell off of the ceiling, twirling in mid air and landing deftly in the middle of the group. They moved back in shock, before realizing the familiar colors and style of the cape.
"Remember, the element of surprise is always helpful in battle."

"Remember, the element of surprise is always helpful in battle." He said, as he straightened himself up and pulled down his hood. It was a rather wonderful thing to see the look of relief and happiness on his students' face, knowing that their master was safe (or perhaps just that the person that had just gotten the jump on them was not an actual attacker, either one was pretty plausible at this moment in time). Casting his eyes across the students, he looked them over the way that a father would look over his children before taking them on a roadtrip. It was something that they had all come to be thankful for in time, he truly did care about their wellbeing and even when he pushed them hard, he always made sure it was something they could take. If something was ever truly above their station and would pose a serious threat to them, he made sure that they weren't doing it, or at least not without supervision.

"So, you're ready for today's lesson?" he asked, waiting for the ensuing chorus of "yes"es to die down a little bit before speaking again "However, before we get on with that, I'd like to introduce to you a new student. You see the slightly older man dressed in white?" he asked, before gesturing with a flat palm to the man who was standing at the back of the class, clearly embarrassed. Where everyone else in the class was around ten to fifteen, he seemed more in his early thirties.

It was pretty rare that they got a  new member, because of how hectic their work schedule was, but when they did they never got one this old. In fact, some of the people in the class noticed that he was one of the academy tutors, specifically the one who was devoted to ninjutu lessons in the school. He was rather unpopular with the students because of his extremely obsessive fascination with the arts, to the degree that he was almost sociopathic. Still, Kon looked at him like he was no different from the other students.

"This is Ganomi Chizu, and a few of you will recognize him from your classes. Because of his deep study into ninjutsu, he has neglected his study into the physical arts and I will be the one to correct that for him. Now, Ganomi," he said, not bothering to add any honorifics after it. He might have to respect him outside of the dojo, but right now he was a student and honorifics were only people of his level and higher. ",I want you to come and attack me. Try and lay the strongest punch you can on me." It might have seemed like a strange order to people outside of the class, but this was a rather common first lesson that Kon used to beat down students who were a bit unruly or seemed to think they were too good to be here. It forced some indignity upon them, which more often than not showed them just how inferior they were and how much they needed to learn their lessons.

As the man moved forwards, apparently not questioning this order even slightly, Kon slammed his leg  out, kicking his legs out from under him and sending his newest student sprawling onto the ground, clearly not enjoying his first physical experience very much.
"Remember what I taught you class, leaving yourself open to attack is the easiest way of losing a fight, if you want to attack only do it when it doesn't leave you open and susceptible to attack."

The man, now indignant and clearly consumed by anger, pulled himself to his feet rapidly and began casting a jutsu, his handsigns weaving together through the required signs of one of his higher ranked jutsu. However, before he could finish, a strong boot slammed on his joined handsign, breaking it apart and causing the rhythm that he had built up so far to be broken completely and utterly, not to mention the pain of his hands being hit with a blow like that.

"I said physical attack, Mister Chizu, please do not make me get serious because you will not like me when I actually try." The way he said those words were rather cold and indifferent, as if the fact that he had tried to attack him with something he would have had little defense against was more of an inconvenience and an annoyance than an attempt on his life. The other students were beginning to back away slightly, not scared enough of this potential fight that they were going to leave, but worried enough that they didn't want to be too close to it. Besides, if Konran fought their teacher, a lot of them wanted to see who would win.

Unfortunately, despite Konran giving the man a chance to protect his dignity and to just stop, apologize, and continue his attempts at striking Konran before he could be disabled, he moved his hands back into a series of signs, and this time completed his jutsu. With a puff of smoke, a group of five clones surrounded his opponent, making the odds a lot higher in his favor. This was a dirty trick, a legitimate trick on the battlefield but for a simple training activity like that, this was cheating. It was disrespectful and aggressive, and it showed that the man clearly needed to be taken down a few pegs, to have the damned pride that was about to cause a major fight ripped from him like a bandaid. So, when the clones attacked en mass, he didn't back away or surrender, but instead met them with his own attacks.

Charging chakra through his body, his muscles seemed to swell slightly as he shot across the area. The first clone that tried to strike had it's arm yanked out of it's socket, disappearing with a puff of smoke. The second who tried to kick had it's ankle grabbed and span around so it landed in a pile crushing three and four. As a group of three, they all disappeared within seconds, leaving him to deal with the final one. As a sign of contempt, when this one ran forwards to attack, he didn't do any fancy movements like he had for the others, he simply rose his knee at the right time and performed a strike on him that would neuter an actual person, causing the collected students to grimace.

Despite the seriousness of this situation, he was still somehow able to carry on his lecture. It was actually good for his lecture, it seemed, because he was able to show them exactly what happened to people who broke their agreements with him, and those who tried to see themselves as either stronger or better than him. It also acted as a sore reminder never to let their skills drop. "Remember kids," he said, chastising them slightly ", higher numbers is never a guaranteed victory. Just because it's few vs many, it doesn't mean the many will win. It just balances the odds a little bit." He said, giving words of wisdom as he and his true opponent exchanged glances, never breaking eye contact.

Their eyes continued to meet each others, which was unfortunately a rookie mistake against a Karisuma. His eyes turned a strange, sparkling cyan color, far different from their normal subdued silver. If the man knew what he had just brought down upon his head, he either didn't take it seriously enough or didn't realize it until much too late. However, with the amount of ugly pride that he had seen from the man so far, he doubted that he had any knowledge of other clans whatsoever, focusing on his own little world to the exclusion of all others. It was a dark thought to have about another person, but it seemed to be the one that made the most sense.

The man would feel his body start to lock up without either his will nor any clear outside manipulation. One minute he was moving his hand back to prepare for a punch, the next he was just standing still. It was a cruel little joke to play on someone so proud, but still... Putting a finger between his eyes, he pushed hard. Not hard enough to damage his skull, with his latent chakra-based strength modifier, he could have done so very easily if he wasn't careful. Instead, he focused on merely pushing him over, making him fall down like a statue. The only difference was that he hadn't crumbled into pieces. Still, he was going to feel that in the morning.

Standing victorious over the vanquished, and paralyzed, body of the academy tutor that had been so prideful and arrogant and now couldn't even move, he smiled down at the man. It was a nice little victory, and highlighted the difference between himself and the academy teachers that he had mentioned to the kage back in the training area. They were in different leagues, and comparing him to an academy tutor was like comparing a child's finger painting to picasso... Or, at least, that was the way he saw it. He was pretty egotistical, even more so after having just bested someone who was supposed to be pretty impressive, so it would have been hard to trust the words that were ringing in his head. One way or another, however, he still won and without the use of any dirty littletricks that the man had had to resort to to try and equal the playing field. In the end, even the tricks had done nothing to help him win, something the man would probably find hard to comprehend.

"The fourth, and final, lesson you need to take away from all of this is simple. If you break your promises, if you attack people without knowing what or who they are first, and if you offend someone's sensibilities then you are simply asking to be put into a world of pain. Do you understand me?" And, as one, the entire class echoed a "SIR YES SIR!!"
