It was midday where the Senju Clan member, Sousetsu of the Hidden Leaf village could be seen heading towards the Hokage's office on his way to retrieve another mission. The day was fair with a few clouds that strolled through the sky with such grace that they almost seemed to be at a standstill. The sun was not too warm yet was not too cold to the skin. He walked casually while remaining rather stoic with pride in his strut as he greeted many of the women and children who made their way past him with smiles on their faces and with such playful manners. Sousetsu simply smiled back with much enthusiasm to show that he was in a cheery mood. It was good that he was on another mission by himself instead of training with his newly found team. A nice break he thought and could relive the dangers of another mission that he began to crave for since his last.

He wore a simple black jumpsuit accompanied by armour emblazoned with the Senju symbol worn over a simple black jumpsuit, with a distinctive white fur collar. This armour was constructed from numerous blue metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along the wearers body, in particular: chest, waist, shoulders and upper arms. His weapon of choice was seen dangling across his lower back. A blade which stood at three feet and three inches long with a black customized handle followed by silver linings the outer blade. A rather heroic attire proving his worth among the shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Upon his arrival into the Hokage's building he was escorted to the mission bearers which there he would receive the mission details. The door was opened for him by an assistant who then bowed at Sousetsu to which he returned formally. As he entered the usual crowd of people in long white coats could be seen ruffling through the papers of mission statements. They seemed rather flustered in their search, at first not even noticing that the door was opened or the presence of the Senju who stood before them with a look of curiosity worn on his face. It was soon enough before one of the men had glanced up and seen Sousetsu who then almost instantly stood up straight and addressed the others of his arrival. The few cleared their throats and sat down at the desk with arms firmly crossed.

As everybody straightened up and was aware of the Sousetsu's arrival, the assistant closed the door behind them. The man who usually addressed the missions nodded to the Senju and ruffled through more papers and before long had found the sheet of paper he was looking for. "Senju, Sousetsu. We have a B-Rank mission for you. Do you accept?" they asked rather hopefully for a change. Ordinarily they would be serious but cool headed but this mattered seemed urgent. Sousetsu looked confused at this alien reaction by the mission holder and simply nodded and returned to his formal standing position with his hands behind his back and a rather proud stance. His head seemed to face the village which could be seen behind the group of people but he seemed to be looking blankly as if there was nothing to catch his eye within the distance. The mission holders and nodded back and began to read from the mission statement.

"Recently, an Assassin group named the 'White Hand' attempted to assassinate the leader of a small town. The reason for this attempt is unknown, so the town is hiring a ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village to find their base, sneak in and recover a scroll that contains a hit list as well as the members of the 'White Hand' without being spotted. If spotted, do whatever it takes to kill all members that are on sight. The members of the 'White Hand' that are currently on site are Chuunin and Genin. There are four Genin, and four Chuunin. What makes this mission dangerous is that the Chuunin excel in taijutsu and kenjutsu and wield a C rank sword at all times. The Genin excel in taijutsu and are able to combine wind chakra with their punches to make them more powerful. Sousetsu, I trust that you will not fail this task as one of our top and rising ninja." The man spoke and finished with a rather pleasant compliment. It was hard to keep a smile off of his face so instead gave off a slight grin. He bowed formally in front of the group of people and turned to the exit, walking out and closing the door behind him.

He waved to the assistant who then stood up and bowed once again as Sousetsu made his way out of the building and headed towards the Village gates to begin his journey to the small town in question. He nodded to his shinobi brethren who guarded the gates to which they returned with a smile and nod also before returning to their small talk. Within a few hours walking along the firm soil which gathered up dust particles as he brushed past each step he had reached his destination. The small town was a relatively nice, friendly atmosphere with a few banners here and there which stated sales and upcoming events. He spoke to one of the many people who walked around in hopes to find a lead on the hideout. Before long, he was pointed out to the town mayor who then gave him a map to the whereabouts of the hideout. He greatly thanked Sousetsu for partaking in this mission, although, was rather nervous about the fact that there was only one ninja to take the task. With the Senju symbol revealing itself to the mayor on his way to his new destination, the mayor was left in awe. The Senju were a very respected clan here as the forefathers of said clan were the ones who came about the existence of Konaha, which somewhat set his mind at ease.

As he was making his way towards the hideout of the 'White Hand', Sousetsu pondered at the mission at hand. He had to sneak past the many members to which he hoped that none of which were a sensory type ninja. If that was the case then he would have to dispose of the lot. A rather needless action that would put his life more at risk than what it already was and if he failed to kill the small group then an attack on the Leaf Village would have been inevitable. Following the map and looking at his whereabouts, Sousetsu had finally come across a landmark which ultimately led him to the 'White Hand's' hideout. He could see that three Genin and and two Chuunin were patrolling the area. They were smirking at the others remarks and paying little attention to the west side of their position to which Sousetsu took full advantage of. He made his way around and noticed the others within the vicinity. It was a wooded area close to the edge of the forest.

Many weapons could be seen on a pile next to a tent while food would be spinning above a fire on a stick. The stench of fish was enough to know their whereabouts from any who passed by. More laughs and giggles could be heard from the unaware group of missing ninja. Sousetsu leaped to a branch above the area which they resided in giving him a birds eye view. He waited as long as he had too, which turned out to be a few minutes short of a half hour before they were changing shifts. To Sousetsu, this was a very unorganized group. They shuffled past each and laughed even more, not paying attention to their posts. Five minutes later, none of them seemed to be in sight. They had bathroom breaks and the fish was taken for lunch. Sousetsu leaped down and entered the tent as quietly as he could and searched for the scroll in question. He soon found it next to a bunch of clothes and ninja tool bags. The parchment was left at their feet with no care given for it.

He opened up the contents of the scroll and glanced through the list of names on a hit list. There was a fair good number of people that were targets, one of which was the mayor he had talked to too not too long ago, and they were assigned to the names of the 'White Hand'. Sousetsu rolled up the parchment and placed it into his bag as he heard sounds approaching. It was a Chuunin from the group who had entered the tent. He found nothing though, as Sousetsu had used his 'Hiding in water technique'. The Chuunin paid little attention to the puddle though and left shouting to his comrades that it was nothing. Sousetsu proceeded to the exit and leaped as far as he could to the trees and made his way back to the town. Upon his arrival, he handed the scroll to the towns mayor who was both pleased and shocked of the outcome, seeing his name on the list along with his friends. The mayor ordered someone to copy the list for Sousetsu to bring to the Village Hidden in the Leaves for safe measure. With nods and formal bows to the townspeople Sousetsu rushed back to his home and relayed the message onto the mission holders for safe keeping. With a small gesture of his hand saying his goodbyes, the Senju left to return to his house in time for a meal before resting for the next day.
