Sousetsu Senju

D-rank
'Dear Sousetsu, the teachers at the academy are looking for some small assistence. You have have been assigned this mission and must teach the students about the basics of a Genin.' Sousetsu let out a slight sigh and reminisced his times in the academy. "So friendly, despite the odd conflict between the girls common affection for the same boys while other young ninja, such as myself were really dedicated to their studies." Sousetsu smirked into a slight chuckle as he reminisced a little more. "And let's not forget about the troublemak---ers..." Sousetsu cut himself off remembering how noisy children could be. He glanced at the note once again. 'The kids, sometimes can be loud, it depends what class you are assigned too.' Sousetsu could not help but sulk.

As he approached the classroom, Sousetsu let out a rather deep sigh before straightening himself up and entering the classroom. As he reached for the door knob he could already hear the children laughing and shouting across the room to each other which left Sousetsu quite hesitant. He thought once more before entering and devised a plan to surprise the children mid-lecture. With a cheeky grin on his face Sousetsu summoned a clone to teach in his place for the time being. Meanwhile, Sousetsu entered the back entrance as he heard his clone introducing himself grabbing everyone's attention.

"Good morning, everyone! My name is Senju, Sousetsu and I will be assisting your sensei today. I will be teaching you the basics of being a Genin. Let's begin!" The clone said with such energy. Some children were sniggering while the majority looked in awe. "First we will start with jutsu's. A jutsu is a skill or technique that a ninja utilises in battle. To use a technique, the ninja will need to use their chakra. To perform a technique, the ninja will bring out and release the two energies of chakra. By forming hand seals, the ninja is able to manifest the desired technique. Because of the extensive number of hand seals and different combinations, there are thousands of potential techniques to be discovered." As Sousetsu finished his speech he had the entire classes attention as they heard that there were thousands of jutsus.

One boy in particular, at the back of the class, still kept sniggering. That was Sousetsu's target. He glanced at the boy and and asked him to stand. "What seems to be the problem?" Sousetsu said almost coldly. The boy smirked in return and announced that he was merely a Genin and nothing special. "You are only a Genin! That's nothing! I'll be a Genin in no time!" The boy continued full of confidence. After the boy felt he had said enough, he glanced at Sousetsu and felt somewhat intimidated as Sousetsu remained in his cold gaze towards him.

Before long, the clone had finally vanished and left nothing but a trail of smoke. The class, shocked as it was, tried to find the Genin but could not be found. The real Sousetsu came from the shadows behind the boy and knelt down behind him so that their heads were level and whispered, "If I'm nothing special, then you wouldn't have died right now..." Sousestu said coldly. The entire class turned to find Sousetsu and the boy together. The boy turned from cocky to scared, almost in tears at what had just happened. The rest of the class were in awe while some of the other boys laughed at their fellow classmate.

Sousetsu returned to the front of the class and turned to face the crowd of young faces and smiled. "That was fun, eh?" Sousetsu giggled. "Which brings me to my next topic, Ninjutsu! There are three types of main Jutsu, the first, Ninjutsu, means, 'ninja technique' and is a term referring to almost any technique which allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing, including the usage of weapons. That clone was a basic ninjutsu." He said, smiling at the boy who he had sacred.

Sousetsu cleared his throat and continued his lecture. "The second, Genjutsu, which means, 'Illusionary Techniques' are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, like taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses." Sousetsu began to notice that the room was becoming more tranquil. The clone gag really benefited Sousetsu greatly. He noticed something on the side of his vision and seen a little girl raising her hand ever so slightly to which Sousetsu acknowledged.

She stood from her seat and fiddled with her fingers in her hands. A shy girl indeed. "Urmm, Sousetsu-kun...What's Taijutsu?" she hesitated in her speech but was expected as he had just played a prank on a classmate of hers."Oh, of course! Thank you for your question. The third main type of jutsu is Taijutsu, which means, 'Body Techniques'. Taijutsu is a basic form of techniques and refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimisation of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. It typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu generally requires no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and are far quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put: hand-to-hand combat."

As the girl returned to her desk in with a small smile Sousetsu smiled once again. "Now I'll teach you about Genin. Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become Genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are the lowest rank and are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or experienced genin are sent on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work – though they generally have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved, especially since their Jounin level sensei often accompanies them. Furthermore, Genin are put in four-man cells, consisting of three Genin and a Jounin sensei, in order to learn teamwork and experience true ninja life under the supervision and protection of an elite shinobi. The make-up of these teams is based on the individual skills of the Genin, so that there will remain a balance between the teams.

With his mission done successfully, the teacher appeared from the back of the class just as he had done and clapped for his performance. Sousetsu bowed before the class as they clapped and thanked the students for listening. As he left, Sousetsu looked back and smiled once more to the place he had grew up accustomed to before making his way to the kage's office to submit his mission's success.
