Description: This is a simple, if specialized seal. There is no base, and the seal is created with a single hand. The user creates a fist, with two fingers extended outward, and charges the fingertips with chakra. They then write the symbol of the element they wish to harness, which creates the seal of the jutsu. They then either smack, punch, or slice the seal with a blade to release the chakra. The effects are as follows:

Non-Elemental: The seal breaks, releasing a burst of very bright light and a sharp, high pitched note for several seconds that causes a 1 post stun and blinding effect to anyone that both sees and hears the seal break. If only the tone is heard, the affected is deafened for 1 post.

Wind: The seal explodes with a directed burst of air, that has enough power to knockback an enemy from point blank range up to 10 feet.

Water: Fires a low power bullet of water, equal to a gallon of water flying at roughly 20 mph. Useful for countering weak Katon or creating openings.

Fire: Creates a small ball of flame that flies forward from the seal at a rate of 20 mph. The flames are hot enough to cause a first degree flash burn, but little else. Can be used as an ignition source for other jutsu.

Earth: Fires several dozen small rocks with the power of a thrown senbon. The rocks cause little more then a small amount of pain and light bruising. Best as a distraction. If the seal is placed upon the ground, it causes the earth to buckle and rise upward 2 inches for a 15 foot diameter around the user. Effective for breaking balance or interrupting sprints.

Lightning: A single bolt of lightning is fired from the seal. Causes a 1 post stun and 1st degree burn for a half inch radius around the point of impact.

Description: Byakugan is a special eye trait limited to Hyuuga Clan members. When this Bloodline Limit is used a strain is forced around the eye below the temple towards the ears. There's a noticeable difference on the user's face: blood vessels appear to be pulsating through the skin. The user of this Bloodline Limit is capable of turning it on or off at will (after originally performing the hand seals). It appears as though its use has no negative physical effect on the user, but it is not known what kind of effect is placed on the eye after being used for a prolonged period of time.

When the user activates Byakugan, he/she gains exceptional vision. This new vision allows the user to view an opponents Chakra circulatory system. The user also has a field of vision, which is almost 360 degrees, minimizing the blind spot. In addition to this, the users range of vision can increase over a very long distance. The strength of this vision may depend on the ability of the user. The increase in range of vision complements the new field of vision. This allows the user to detect, without effort, any action within a 15m radius (the small blind spot is counted as an exception). The Byakugan user boasts an advantage in the field of close combat due to the vision and sense of nearby surroundings he/she has.

After activating Byakugan, the user can perform Jyuuken (Gentle Fist). The level of Jyuuken performed depends on the ability of the user and the strength of the user's Byakugan. A skilled Byakugan user may use Jyuuken to seek an opponents Chakra holes (Tenketsu) and attack the Chakra circulatory system directly by making then it target of a Jyuuken attack. A highly skilled Byakugan user is capable of damaging all of the opponents Chakra holes and potentially shutting down the opponents Chakra circulatory system.

The power of the user's Byakugan is based on their rank:
•D: At this stage the Byakugan is usable in battle, the detail given by the eyes are detailed enough that they can make out some smaller objects. They can even notice the gross movements of a human. Most importantly, the Byakugan gives enough detail at this stage that the chakra circulatory system can be seen.
•C: At this stage the Byakugan can see things in enough detail to discern facial expressions. In battle, the detail is enough to notice needles and other small projectiles, if just barely. Most importantly, the Byakugan is capable of seeing the larger tenketsu on a person.
•B: This stage the Byakugan can easily see and keep track of many small things, even needles or insects. The Hyuuga is also capable of seeing all of an opponent's tenketsu in detail. Finnally, the user is capable of seeing through solid objects, although things on the other side of objects
becomes increasingly distorted.
•A: This is the final stage most Hyuuga reach. At this point they see everything to the smallest detail, their eyesight with the Byakugan can finally see in more detail then the normal human eye, in addition to its special abilities. The user is capable of seeing through solid objects also improves greatly, although things still become increasingly distorted after looking through a few feet of solid matter.
•S: Considered the epitome of the byakugan, at this stage the Byakugan can
perfectly see through objects, everything within 50 meters of the user
is known. The byakugan can even see far beyond those 50 meters, but anything beyond that distance is heavily distorted. As for the detail, that has improved to the point where a member of the Hyuuga could actually count the legs on a fly… which would be amazing if a ninja ever found himself in a situation where he needed to count the legs on a fly and didn't have enough of an education to know all insects have six legs.

Description: The practitioner has become accustomed to the odd way of fighting using the Jyuuken and movement comes easier and more fluid like than before. Chackra control becomes the biggest lesson of this stage. With the Byakugan becoming stronger as the practitioner grows sight becomes better and the obvious usefulness of being fast and graceful comes to bear. The Hyuuga also learns to force more chakra out of their tenketsu in order to hinder an opponent. This requires C-ranked Byakugan.

Description: This jutsu requires no hand signs; instead the user raises their hands so that fingers are spread wide and the palm is flattened and facing inward, the tips of the middle and ring fingers touching the user's temple and face. The user then channels a burst of chakra to the hands, releasing it instantaneously as a blinding flash of light. The flash is bright enough to stun for 1 post and blind for 2 more post anyone standing within a fan shaped radius of 10 meters in front of the user.
