Kazuya was waiting outside of the Kage Mansion for his teammate that he was assigned with for his first C-rank mission. It seems a bunch of no good genins called the litter bug gang were causing problems for the villagers with littering and vandalizing property. Kazuya looked at the pictures of the culprits and noticed that they were old looking genins. Kazuya thought to himself that they don't look like a bunch of weaklings I guess having a partner for this mission was a good thing. Kazuya knew for this mission he would have to keep his guard up and cooperate well with his teammate. Kazuya also thought this would be a good chance to really test his skills he learned from his father on opponents probably on the same skill level as him.

Kazuya sat down on a nearby bench and noticed the birds flying by and the blue skies. He wondered what type of person his partner was and what type of skills he would specialize in. Kazuya hoped that he would get along with his partner and possibly gain a new friend. Kazuya continued to sit on the bench for a couple more minutes and said, "I wonder when my teammate will arrive?"

Chesuke ran through the marketplace on his way to meet up with whoever it was he was taking this mission with. this isn't the time to be thinking about that, he admonished himself. first, i need to figure out how to get out of this trouble. the man chasing him had caught Chesuke peeking in on the girls at the hot springs. granted, he only came across Chesuke because he was trying to peek as well, but that didn't stop him from chasing after the poor Genin. shouting something about his girlfriend, and calling Chesuke a pervert, the young man chased after him in a rage. "i'm too young to be a pervert! at this age, it's called natural curiosity!" Chesuke called behind himself.somehow, that didn't seam to appease the man chasing him. Chesuke rounded the last corner to the Hokage's mansion, but his pursuer showed no signs of slowing or giving up the chase. Chesuke had a few options, he could run his full speed and fatigue himself before his mission, he could try to convince his partner to help defend him, or he could hide.
Chesuke decided to go with option three, but how to do it? making a series of quick handseals, Chesuke lept onto a bench where someone was already seated. with a soft *poof* he suddenly resembled a fairly attractive girl his age. blonde hair and green eyes looked at the man already seated there. "i hope you dont mind me sitting with you..." the she-Chesuke said, purposefully blushing as the young man charged onward, and down another street. "you're such a handsome ninja, i couldn't help mys..." *poof* "oh, lord, it's you" said the back-to-normal-Chesuke, assuring himself that the hood was over his eyes. "please don't tell me you're my partner today"

Kazuya was looking up at the sky enjoying the view then he suddenly heard some one say "Please don't tell me you're my partner today" Kazuya looked up at the person and noticed a boy with a hoodie with the hood over his eyes and he noticed his attitude toward him. The boy looked kind of familiar, but Kazuya just could not figure out were he had seen him before. Kazuya stood up still trying to figure were he had seen this person before and said, "Nice to meet you my name is Kazuya Hyuga lets do our best on this mission." Kazuya gave the boy a briefing on the mission and showed him the pictures of the culprits.

Kazuya started to wonder was the boy even paying attention to what he was saying. That hood over the boy's eye was kind of irritating to Kazuya but did not really bother him to much. Kazuya looked back up at the sky and told the boy, "we should get moving soon before it gets dark I prefer a three on two situation in daylight."Kazuya looked back at the boy and realized he did not even ask for his name. He was kind of eager to know who he was because of this weird feeling of recognition coming from the boy. "So what is your name?"

"so, what is your name?" came from Kazuya's lips, irritating Chesuke.
"oh,but you're the strong and mighty Kazu of the Hyuuga's main branch. I am not worthy of speaking my name to you. instruct me and i will obey" Chesuke taunts his cousin. "i would think your father would be furious at you for not knowing the names of your lesser family. your striving for perfection has obviously stopped somewhere just below the neck."
standing up from the bench, Chesuke starts walking. "I've already done some recon regarding the mission. they stick mostly to an area just east of here, and the tend to strike at Dusk. please tell me you know how to use your Byakugan in low light."
Chesuke was already annoyed by having to work with a family member, but now he was bothering to introduce himself and go over the mission like Chesuke hadn't accepted it himself. man, if he even thinks about trying to instruct me any more, i may join the gang in pummeling him. Chesuke thought to himself, enjoying the fantasy more than actually considering doing so.
realizing that his cousin would be bugging him for a name if he didn't give one, Chesuke quickly thought of one for his cousin to use. "call me Yuu" he instructed Kazuya over his shoulder. as he turned back forward, his usual mischievous grin upon his face.

Kazuya was kind of annoyed after hearing all that ramble from the boy supposedly called Yuu. Kazuya knew he was lying about his name. The boy also questioned the ability of his Byakugan which really ticked Kazuya off he really hates when people talk down on him so hearing it from a boy of around the same age really ticked him off. Kazuya decided not to confront him with a foul attitude and just simply responded, "No need to question the power of my Byakugan nothing can escape my sight."Then Kazuya had a thought come to his head, how did this boy know of my father. What really surprised him was the boy knowing he was part of the main branch of the hyuga clan and also hearing, i would think your father would be furious at you for not knowing the names of your lesser family. your striving for perfection has obviously stopped somewhere just below the neck." After a second of pondering on that statement Kazuya realized that boy had to be a side branch member of the clan. Kazuya ran in front of the boy then quickly pulled his hood back and quickly realized who he was, "I know who you are your Chesuke."Kazuya was surprised he was paired with his cousin. Kazuya figured that's why he had a foul attitude toward him because of the tension between the main family and side branch. Since one of Kazuya goals is to break this tension between the two families Kazuya decided to try and bring a positive vibe into the air. "Let's do our best to complete this mission cousin and show the litter bug gang the power of the hyuga clan." Kazuya looked at his cousin with a smile hoping for a positive response from him.

Chesuke had to fight the urge to hit Kazuya as he pulled back the hood. it would have been so easy to strike at the boys chest and hit several tenketsu before he could even pull back. the thought would have made Chesuke smile had his personal space and privacy not both been invaded with one fell swoop.
quickly pulling the hood back over his eyes, he said roughly, "so your brains aren't all mush, then. but you should ask your father to teach you about manners and personal space. if you ever have the time, that is."
Kazuya's comment about the power of the Hyuuga Clan did bring a small smile to Chesuke's lips, though. the facts were clear to him, there were three litter-bugs, and two of them. that meant that one of them were going to have to take down two of the trouble making genin. Chesuke already knew that he was not going to let his cousin be the one to take down two opponents, and leave him only having one. he would be able to prove that the branch family is no lesser than the main branch already.

Kazuya felt the tension in the air shift after hearing the responses from his cousin. Kazuya looked at his cousin, "so you said earlier they like to hang around an area due east from here, so how about you lead the way from here." Kazuya thought it would be better to let his cousin show the way toward the location since he did earlier recon. "When we reach the area we should use the element of surprise to our advantage." Kazuya knew the culprits would be up to their no good actions and would not be expecting the two hyuga cousins. "we have to make sure to drive them out of a populated area we don't want any innocent people being caught between the rampage of the culprits trying to escape or them trying to engage us in battle" Kazuya wanted to make sure they were prepared for all scenarios that could possibly happen. "We should also be ready for any irrational thinking from any member of the gang" Kazuya walked next to his cousin and said, "When ever your ready let's go."

Chesuke was surprised that Kazya, a member of the main branch of the Hyuuga, was letting him, a member of the branch family, take the lead. he slowly thought through the possible reasons that this might be, and settled for the fact that, were they to be caught by a surprise ambush, he would take the first hit. another good reason not to train with the family like i'm supposed to. this way they don't know my capabilities he thought to himself.
as the two Hyuuga boys walked back towards where Chesuke had come from, Chesuke filled Kazuya in on what he had learnt about the three men that they would likely end up facing off against.as an afterthought, he also warned his cousin about a possible fourth member that had found out what he was up to.
as they passed by the hot springs building, Chesuke kept on guard in case the 'fourth member' was still around, but, luckily, he was not.
the two genin reached the area that the gang usually vandalized just as Chesuke finished briefing his cousin on what he'd learned before he'd gotten distracted by the hot springs. the sun was reaching the horizon behind them, and everything was starting to be cast in the soft golden glow of dusk.
"okay, they should be making an appearance any time now. if you want to scout fro the rooftops, i'll patrol the streets and watch the covered alleyways. if you see them, whistle these three notes, and don't engage alone. we don't want either of us to be caught three versus one, or we wouldn't have taken this mission together. got it? Chesuke looked at his cousin, wondering what Kazuya's reaction would be to taking instructions from a branch family member.

Kazuya looked at his cousin with a smile and said, "Sounds like a plan I will take the roof tops." Kazuya was happy that him and his cousin were working well with each other so far. This seemed like a very small step toward breaking the tension between the two hyuga families. Kazuya looked up toward the rooftops and prepared him self using the "Supernatural Walking Practice" to run up the walls to get to the rooftop. Kazuya looked back at his cousin and said, "you be careful as well." Kazuya ran up the wall reaching the rooftop.

Kazuya saw an amazing view of Konoha and it's vast range of buildings and it's people. "No time for enjoying the view" Kazuya began to run hopping from rooftop to rooftop looking for the culprits looking in every direction hoping to catch them before they try to cause any more problems for the people in the area. Kazuya jumped to another rooftop but suddenly noticed a big muscular man causing some problem for an old lady. Kazuya jumped down from the rooftop to confront the man. Kazuya heard the man yelling saying, "watch were the hell your walking old lady don't you know who I am I'm Jako Dakkinju of the liter bug gang." Kazuya quickly realized he was one of the men him and his cousin were looking for. Kazuya did not see the other members with him so he thought this would be a chance to take down one of the culprits. Kazuya walked up toward the man and said, "The liter bug gang that sounds like a bunch of pre schoolers came up with that name." Jako looked at Kazuya and said, "Who the hell are you small fry." Kazuya replied, "I'm the guy who's going to take you down and the rest of your little gang."Kazuya wondered did chesuke run into the other two members since he ran into this gorilla rampaging by himself.

"you take care as well" Chesuke was too stunned by the words to reply before Kazuya ran off. there was actually a note of concern in his cousins voice that he hadn't expected.
shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Chesuke thought back to his trouble making days to recall all the small alleys that people could hide in. rolling up his sleeves to hide the ninja plate on his shoulder, he charged forwards, moving at chuunin-level speed. he'd need to cover a lot more ground than Kazuya would up top.
it didn't take long before he rounded a corner and ran straight into a large wall of flesh. looking up at the man's face, the scar running along one side gave him away as Haizen Tenzo. close behind Haizen was the scrawny Tadao Fugumi, chearing on his leader as a young woman stood with her back against the wall, the expression on her face fighting the terror that was welling up inside. "...just one date. i promise you won't regret it" Haizen was saying as Chesuke interrupted. as Haizen turned to confront the intruder, the woman slipped out of the alleyway, running along the street.
Haizen saw her run off, and became red in the face,"look what you did you little idiot. if i cant take my enerdy out on her, i'll have to take it out on you. the rage in Haizen's face was showing through already.
Chesuke, 10 years the man's junior, ran a gambit. growling up to the two of them, he started cussing at the two of them, "what I did? look what YOU did! you made me drop it everywhere! he screamed, pointing to an empty spot on the ground "i was bringing that home to my grandma as a last meal, but now i'm just going to get a whooping. and if i'm going to get a whooping, i'm going to take it out on your pipsqueaks!" Chesuke was holding his breath to redden his face, hoping that the two gangers would buy into the trap, and wondering where the third, Jako Dakkinju, was at the moment. he hadn't heard Kazuya whistle, so he must not have found anything yet.
the two gang members were caught off guard. between the fact that someone so small was standing up to them, and that he was pointing to something imaginary confused them. as the young kid stepped closer, cussing at them, they took a few steps back, forgetting both that they outnumbered the scrawny-looking lad and that they were both a foot taller than him. finally, though, they did remember."i'm not taking this from a little jerk like you. we're the litter bug gang, we're going to beat you up!" Haizen finally stood up to Chesuke.
Chesuke stopped the ruse and smiled. "so be it. a fight. i'll even let you make the first move."
the boys paused at Chesuke's eager acceptance to the fight. Haizen, enraged at this point, drew his katana, and stepped forward, swinging clean for Chesuke's head. Chesuke easily dodged, looking up at the blade as he bent backwards. finally taking his own advice, Chesuke whistled the pattern that he and Kazuya had agreed upon. it's not really worth it if nodoby sees me beat them, after all he thought.

Kazuya looked at the big gorilla planning to take him down but realized he could not fight him with the old lady in the way. Kazuya suggested to jako, "how about we take this fight some were else." The big gorilla jako looked at Kazuya replying, "hell no kid I'm going to mess you up right here." Suddenly Jako jumped back reaching behind his back and threw a Kunai toward Kazuya. Kazuya was easily able to catch the kunai on it's hilt and twirled it with his fingers and griped it in the palm of his hands. Jako threw two more kunai at Kazuya, but Kazuya was easily able to deflect them with the kunai in his hand. Kazuya threw the kunai he had in his hand on the ground and told Jako, "pre schoolers should not be playing with weapons only meant for true shinobi." Jako looked really mad after hearing those words from Kazuya.

Jako suddenly charged Kazuya with stem coming from his nose. Kazuya was about to assume the gentle fist style but suddenly realized the old woman was still nearby and was completely immobilized by fear, he did not want to start a battle with an innocence old lady nearby. Kazuya suddenly heard a loud whistle pattern and realized it was Chesuke signaling he had found the other culprits. Kazuya looked back at Jako who was running straight toward him with his fist pulled back ready to punch him. Kazuya easily dodged the punch with a step back, but jako came with a surprising hook kick. Kazuya ducked under the kick then came back up with a punch from Jako heading straight for his face, but Kazuya blocked it with both of his arms crossed in front of his face. The punch pushed Kazuya back a good 3ft. Kazuya thought to himself, those muscles aren't just for show. Kazuya quickly dashed to the top of a building rooftop and yelled to Jako, "A you better follow me it seems like your friends are about to be captured." Kazuya began dashing toward were the noise came from with jako running behind him yelling, "what the hell nobody will lay there hands on my gang." Kazuya quickly found chesuke and jumped behind him with the two cousins in a back to back position facing there opponent. Kazuya told Chesuke, "Looks like this will be fun"

Chesuke grinned at the sight of his cousin, and the grin only expanded as Jakko rounded the corner after Kazuya. an idea popping into his head, Chesuke started to chuckle. "What's so funny?" Haizen demanded.
Chesuke just grinned for a moment before saying, "just something your mother told us last night" leaving the insinuation with little to explain.
Haizens rage seemed to double, words unable to come from his mouth as his lips foamed and spittle erupted from the gap. finally, he pointed at the two young shinobi. "lets KILL those two assholes," he yelled. the three men started their charge upon the two boys. Chesuke, in one simple motion, threw back his hood and let his rolled-up sleeves drop, revealing his ninja plate. his white Hyuuga eyes now showing, he grinned and looked over his shoulder. "i think it's time to try a little cooperation between houses, don't you?" Chesuke was certain the answer would be "yes" but, then again, the question was rhetorical. after an accommodating pause, he tapped the ground three times with his foot just like Kazuyas father did in training, informing Kazuya of the next attack he should perform. who knew that spying on training could actually be so useful? Chesuke took a moment to think to himself with a grin.
the three large men were finally within range for Chesuke's plan to work, crying out his attack, he only hoped that Kazuya and he would work well together, and nothing would go wrong. "Double Hyuuga Style, Eight Trigrams, Heavenly Rotation!"

Kazuya was wondering why would Chesuke say some cray stuff to the culprits just to get them to charge at them, but Chesuke suddenly said something else toward Kazuya. Kazuya smiled when hearing, "i think it's time to try a little cooperation between houses, don't you?" from his cousin and kazuya responded with," I agree lets try it." Kazuya then noticed Chesuke tapping his foot three times, Kazuya thought to him self, "don't tell me my cousin has been spying on my training with my father who ever would thought it would come in handy for a situation like this." Kazuya immediately knew what the plan was. A double rotation to take down the culprits in one blow the perfect plan Kazuya knew his cousin wouldn't get the culprits pissed off to charge at us for no good reason. When the culprits got in the range of the technique Kazuya said with a loud voice "Double Hyuuga Style, Eight Trigrams, Heavenly Rotation!" in unison with his cousin Chesuke. The rotation completely surprised the litter bug Gang and they were overwhelmed with the power of two rotations and were defeated completely knocked out on the ground. Kazuya looked at Chesuke with his hand held out hoping for a hand shake and said, "Thanks for the assistants cousin."

Chesuke shook hands with his cousin, surprised to find a large grin on his face. "not assistance." he corrected. "teamwork." perhaps he could do more good for the families by being more out in the open, and working together with them, instead of trying to work so hard against them.
looking at the three unconscious men, Chesuke turned to his cousin and said, Lets let the authorities know where they can pick these guys up. they should be out for at least an hour." channeling his raiton chakra into his feet, Chiba activated his Lightning Step, disappearing as a bolt of lightning towards the Hokage's Mansion to report their success. in his wake, a note drifts to the ground reading "race you there"

Kazuya was glad to know from the hand shake that the tension between him and his cousin was gone. Wondering what to do with the knocked out bodies Kazuya heard his cousin say, Lets let the authorities know where they can pick these guys up. they should be out for at least an hour." Kazuya agreed but suddenly noticed his cousin dashing back toward the direction of the kage mansion. Kazuya saw a note on the ground reading "Race you there." Kazuya smiled and thought to himself, "I think I will take my time back and enjoy the view and let my cousin have the win this this time"
