Tobikomi (Jump):

All was calm in the remote southern forests that bordered Konohagakure. It was a warm enough day to warrant a bit of training, or at least justify leaving the house for a good while. Takao had decided to take the day off of missions and begin training on a technique that he had been mentally developing for quite a while. Getting out of the range of a jutsu quickly was quite difficult for those without exceptional speed or other special techniques, so what better way to create an escape plan than developing a special technique? Takao came to a stop in the middle of the forest, where a clearing had been made by some past fight no doubt.

It was the perfect place to train his technique. It would require ample space to begin with, as he estimated himself to have very little control. But it was a new technique, he was going in blind, of course such precautionary measures should be taken! Takao took a quick guess on the direction of the wind, using the direction of the surrounding tree foliage that was being blown. He walked to the middle of the field and inhaled deeply, just once. His hands were brought together and formed just a single hand seal. After a while, he probably wouldn't need to mold his chakra using hand seals, but for now it was necessary.

As chakra seeped from his tenketsu, it coated his muscles. The chakra would take priority over the muscles at his point and allow for him to begin the technique. He added about twenty five percent of the chakra he estimated he would need for a full jump. For training, it would only boost him up five meters or so. This was meant to be a test, if nothing else. Takao was simply testing to see if he could actually use his chakra to substitute muscle usage. Hell, he might destroy all the muscles in his legs upon releasing the chakra, but it was worth a shot.

He stopped the flow of chakra to his legs and lowered himself into a crouching position. The height he had intended to reach was around fifteen feet, but... Well, it seemed chakra was a bit more potent than his muscles. Instead of fifteen feet, he was launched thirty feet into the air. A bit higher than the safe jumping zone most shinobi stayed within, but it would be fine... mostly fine, anyways. Maybe. Probably.

Takao released a shout of terror as he began to return to the ground. As his feet connected with the ground, the chakra was released in a torrent of destruction. The ground was crippled beneath him, and Takao was left all twisted up in a small crater. He wasn't hurt and nothing was broken, thankfully, but he learned what he needed to learn from his first jump. Use less chakra, and land feet first.

Alucard caught himself dashing from tree to tree within this southern forest that had been covering Konohagakure for as long as he could remember. While traveling through the forest he could hear a noise accompanied by strong vibrations in the air. His lighting nature allowed him to more information with sense's than most ninja. Up in the the middle canopy he couldn't see anything, he decided to check things out, he prepared a few hand signs just incase. You never know He thought to himself as he dashed a few more branches forward; then decended silently.

He came apon a man that was standing around in the middle of a worn field jumping around. At first look it looked like a random guy just jumping around for the hell of it. Hell, it could just be a random person just jumping around. Can't be.... There has to be more reason to him jumping around like that

To observers, Takao sure did look like some kind of crazy. He was launching himself into the air, higher than most would believe safe, and landing with explosive force. The ground rippled and churned under his feet as they violently returned to the ground after each jump. He'd practically made this “jutsu” his bitch already, as it didn't hold much of any notable challenge. All Takao was doing now was adding a bit of... finesse to the technique. Jumping higher than what was considered to be safe was all fine and dandy, but the side effect to the technique that Takao had only just discovered was definitely an incentive to keep practicing. He sure did feel sorry for whoever got caught in that torrent of destruction when he landed.

Takao must have been at it for the past hour or so by now. The field looked like something out of a cold war, as countless craters littered the ground from Takao's attempts at the technique – both failed and successful. It was hard to tell which was which, but he did tend to lose his balance while in the air. But, for now, it seemed like the technique was in proper working order.

He must have given it five or six more attempts before he noticed something. That unmistakable feeling of being watched. As he landed with explosive force one last time, his eyes shifted across the field. Takao must have attracted some attention from all the commotion he was making. Maybe just a passing scouting party or some village guards doing their daily rounds. But still, he didn't like being spied on. His gaze was subtle, that much Takao made sure of. His eyes finally narrowed on a single point before he brought his hands together for another set of hand seals.
Takao launched himself into the air again. He stopped his ascent at around thirty five feet or so, pushing the jutsu to it's limitation, and then finally came crashing down near the tree that Alucard had decided to observe from. The ground would ripple and churn from the explosive force of his landing, easily uprooting the tree and sending it toppling over.

Any particular reason for you spying on me?” Takao said as he stepped down from the crumbled rock. The dust from the violent landing settled after a moment, revealing the dark-haired male to be standing with his arms crossed.

Alucard watched as Takao trained his destructive jutsu and finally figured out what this man was doing, just like himself this man was a ninja from Konohagakure and judging by his destructive power he was Jounin maybe even higher. There was know way he would be able to escape alive if this other ninja decided to attack. Now done with the thinking it was time to react the impact from landing into the tree caused the tree Alucard was in to fall itself. No time to waste so he rushed towards the edge of the branch and flipped in a frontward motion twisting side ways in the air so that he could keep a eye on the other ninja that was in his presence. A couple a seconds in the air and he landed on the root of the fallen tree. "I wouldn't say that I was spying on you, I was Intrigued at the commotion that was going do I came to check to see what it was , and it was you jumping in the air. Who ever thought that jumping could be so harmful." He respond with a thin grin.

Takao stepped down from an overturned chunk of earth, the product of a failed attempt at his jutsu. The actual effect would have been a bit more expansive and not left Takao stuck in the middle of the rubble, but it still had a nice intimidating feel to it. That was the vibe he received from Alucard anyhow.

From the looks of it, Alucard could be any rank. He was definitely a shinobi of Konohagakure, there was no doubt in Takao's mind of this, but there was no clear indication of authority worn by the male. His arms folded at his chest as he glanced at Alucard through the falling dust. As the debris settled, Alucard's response was heard. Takao's eyes narrowed as he began to walk forwards, towards Alucard.

A small grin crossed the dark-haired male's face. “Well, you'd better learn how to hide yourself better – or to make yourself known from the get go.” Takao said in response as his arms unfolded and his left came to rest at his side, while his right rested on his hip. “You've seen what the commotion was by now then. Unless you have something else you need from me, you'd best be on your way, yeah?” Takao said as he turned his back to Alucard. He was eager to return to training this technique, and the only thing that kept him from doing so was this guy. Takao's head turned to glance back at Alucard while his body still faced in the opposite direction, waiting for a response before he returned to his training.

Alucard Shook Head in response to this ninjas answer, then he replied. "If you knew I was here, What did you think my motive was ? If I had a hidden motive it could be accomplished it when you started your walk towards me." Light smirk was added to his face. "Since your training a B Rank jutsu, based off the destructive power displayed. I would like you teach me something that I can use on the battlefield. The names Alucard , One of the finest Chunnins in Kono and future Sannin nice to meet you. Alucard stood up from his landing position, and walked over in Takaos direction.

Takao chuckled as he turned his body again to face Alucard. “Deception persists as a shinobi's most valuable asset. If you're smart and you have a hidden motive, it would remain as just that. Hidden.” he said in response. What he said was true, to some extent anyhow. The element of surprise could end a fight easily if handled well.
Hearing Alucard mention the jutsu's rank brought a raised eyebrow in response. “It has no rank yet, but nice observation skills.” Takao said.

Teach you something you can use on the battlefield? What's given you the idea that I would allow a stranger to have a hand in my jutsu arsenal?” Takao asked as his hands were brought back to his chest and folded over one another. He was genuinely interested in how the male planned on justifying this request to teach him a technique. Takao liked how straight forward he was though, even if it did come off a tad arrogant. He seemed like the kind of guy who went after what he wanted.

Alucard came off cocky because of his bloodline, he was proud of it and tried not show as much but that hardly ever worked. The time spent talking to Takao he kept observing him.

Alucard smiled at Takao's response to his demand. "A reason for you to teach me.." he paused for a second then answered. "I believe to keep a village strong each ninja in the village should recycle there jutsu between the ranks. With this being said depending on the skill of the ninja he or she can then add or recreate another jutsu out of ones own." He explained to Takao

Alucard moved a stray strand of hair from out of his face as he stood. His reason was pure, natural for him wanting to learn and create jutsu. To make himself humble through the training and stronger for the battlefield.

A smile snuck it's way across Takao's face as he listened to Alucard's response. He adjusted his gaze, which finally settled on the other male after a moment, and released the hearty chuckle he'd been holding back until now. "Good answer! You're right, jutsu should be spread amongst the shinobi of a village. It strengthens the village as a whole. Unfortunately, however.." Takao said as he began to take a few steps backwards.

"There are some techniques that must stay hidden within an individuals arsenal. This is one of those techniques. Perhaps when we meet each other again, I'll have a technique to teach you. But for now, I'll have to bid you farewell." he said with a smirk. He made a single hand seal and lowered himself into a crouching position. With his knees bent, he pumped chakra into his legs, and released it with explosive force. He launched himself into the air, a good forty meters or so, and landed some distance away from Alucard. He'd do the same a few more times, destroying the bit of land he plummeted onto each time, until he was safely within the village and hidden amongst the masses.

Alucard watched as his future teacher, sensei in some sort of way jump farther and farther away. Now that Takao was gone, his destination was his house. A tiring day indeed and all he was trying to do was soak in a hot tub. His mind focused on that motivated him to start moving. Alucard was lazy at times but he seem to pull some real motivation from the events that just happened. "Takao...... Can You Lead Me To My Goal ?" Kept playing in the back of his head while he dashed off towards the village gates.
