Clan History: Known in Kiri as a historic gambler, Momiji Gyanbura, was actually a cheater who was run out of the village. Originally Momiji, was a terrible gambler who made his home in Kiri. Most gambling houses rejected him, while those who would take him, took what little he managed to gain. One very bad gambling run managed to cost him his home and personal belongings, he was left with nothing. Finding an alley, he began begging, though aside from food lost it to more gambling. Despair hung in the man's heart, he sought anything to change his life.

Often found wondering the village, Momiji stumbled across a young man training in the nearby woods. Through questioning why he was out in the forest, he discovered him to be a ninja out training his ability to control chakra. Momiki knew of chakra but nothing else. The young ninja explained the fundamentals, and demonstrated some of the extraordinary acts you could perform with it. The simple encounter had given the gambler a new fire in his heart. Thanking the ninja, he camped out in the woods and began learning what ever he could from the library in the village. Momiji's life improved as he became physically stronger through catching his own food, and mentally stronger through meditation. His training began to pay off, he could feel the chakra within his body.

Living this way for a few years, the poor begger who had lost everything, was now a healthy man who had gained a new power. Returning to the streets known for gambling, he started slow and began winning money. Though everyone believed him to be gambling like others, it wasn't till Momiji started betting more and more, that people became suspicious. Upon invitation, he gambled for the chance to win more money then ever before. This was a farce, the house was known for big pay out, but also for cheating it's gamblers through loaded dice and other tricks. Momiji was oblivious to the situation he was trapped in, either he loses his new wealth or he cheat and be found out. With confidence in the dice rollers eyes, he set the dice in play. Knowing they were loaded dice, anything but their pre-fixed numbers would prove Momiji to be cheating, they worked. The members of the gambling house became infuriated. They beat the man, and physically branded his body with the word "Cheater". He was thrown from the house, while all his possessions and money were stolen. The boss of the gambling ring gave Momiji an ultimatum, either leave the village or die here. The man took the obvious choice, he fled from the village.

Battered, bruised, and bleeding, Momiji stumbled for a few miles out side of the village before collapsing. He woke to a small campfire and found he had been bandaged up. A man roughly his age sat against a tree eating the meal he had cooked. After questioning each other, the man was a wanderer, he traveled the country for no real purpose at all. Momiji told the strange man his life story and questioned how the wanderer made his living. A hearty laughed seemed to fill Momiji with join, the wanderer earned money by winning drinking contests in places he visited. Winning by drinking more, was a foreign method of gambling to him. The wanderer explained that he wasn't gambling, his family simply couldn't get drunk through alcohol. The man was a Myugan, and told him stories of his clan. In disbelief, the two men traveled together till they reached a small village. Managing to get the bill covered, the Myugan bet Momiji that he would out drink everyone in the room. The bar became a scene of song and dance as the contest ensued, in the end, the Myugan won. With a sense of trust between the two cheaters, they traveled together and lived almost identical lives. Momiji in his later years focused on raising a family, though his children picked up his abilities quite easily, and sought to exploit them just like there father.

Kekkei Genkai Description: Born with a naturally dexterous hands, and a persistent temptation to cheat, lie, and gamble, those of the Gyanbura clan have developed techniques to succeed in those exact categories. The common tools of a clan member are dice, cards, and coins. Their impressive dexterity with small tools such as cards, kunai, or similar implements grant a +1 in accuracy when used for ranged attacks. This allows more skilled attacks such as a curved card throw, or ricocheting kunai off other structures. Only cards may be used in a curved throw due to there ability to bend. Clan members start with 2 standard decks of 54 playing cards (2 Jokers), a standard 6-sided die, and large metal coin (roughly the size of a 50 cent piece).

Drawbacks: Though known for their dexterity and sleight of hand, they have no aptitude for using weapons such as sword and a bow/arrow. Their skill restricts them to only small implements including; cards, kunai, shuriken, senbon, etc. Dedication to a single art always leaves you lacking, Fuuinjutsu not used through a card, die, or coin, require an additional 10 chakra to perform.
