Chiaki

Chiaki walked in a meted manner towards the Cenote. Really she wasn't in a rush, but she wanted to get there on time, in enough time for at least the fireworks to start. They were supposed to start after the speech, and who knew how long that windbag, the one on the televisions, would keep talking. Some people liked short speeches, that was true, but every twist they took, some slack jawed person was glued to the screen, watching him in fascination. Perhaps these people really did need to go out more.

Chiaki made her hurried way through the crowds, wrapped in a towel, and looking to and fro, checking to make sure that everyone was still tucked into their little corners, all huddled around the warm glow of electric boredom.

What morons.

She pattered her way down the winding steps and into the cave, which was set apart from the rest of the cavern system in that it did not seem to have any actual tooling on it. It was made from the rock, and the rock seemed to have wanted a place for the water to go, so it had made one, which had been drilled into by some sort of machinery. As Chiaki neared, the sun drooped and finally fell into slumber, leaving the cave dark. She squeaked, and blinked rapidly, trying to make her eyes adjust. Colors swam before her eyes, and as she rubbed them, almost dropping the towel, she blinked again and looked.

No, it wasn't her eyes playing a trick on her, that was algae, the very same algae that she had heard about, and it was turning different colors due to the humidity, the temperature in the air, and the wafting breeze that kept it in constant flux. What a dizzying display.

Grinning back, she giggled, "See? pretty isn't it?" She had opted that she was going to go nude, as the pools were a 'clothing optional' area and she didn't want Aka to feel left out for not having a bathing suit, one thing she would hope to correct in the future for less socialized cultures.

While Chiaki seemed to speedwalk down to the sinkhole that happened to fill with water, Akaneya took no particular rush. She herself wasn't entirely sure what the rush even was. There were supposed to be fireworks later that night - is that it? Chiaki wanted to see the fireworks? The stairs, ramps, and other assorted declines that led down to the water level, though what may or may not be a naturally carved cave, was lined with people looking at screens of any and every sort. Broadcasts showing off the speaker, so that even though they had declined to hear the speech they would be forced to endure its tedious drag regardless. What a drag. An absolute drag.

Just behind these steamy-eyed shinobi and citizens otherwise were two women. One, a blue one, was wrapped up in a dainty little towel to cover herself, with little underneath. Chiaki had apparently not fully understood what Akaneya meant by dropping her outer layer, something that probably would've been more obvious had she not been wearing a fancy gown instead of her usual attire. When she tossed aside her tight shorts and the mesh undershirt she always wore, which could be always seen through the v-shaped neckline of her standard attire, she had hoped it might've been slightly more clear what she usually meant.

Regardless, Akaneya, the red one, was not so delicately wrapped up. No, she carried herself with a certain dignity and grace. Her breasts were neatly secured in a breastwrap, really just a strip of cloth she had secured herself, twisted up front to give each its own little cup to rest in, and knotted at the back. The bottom half was well-covered by a skirt of much the same self-make, a sheet tied at the hip to create a skirt. This was the sarong she'd told Chiaki of, and it did a decent job at covering what needed to be covered, acting quite functional while removing everything that one would not want to be wet. It was good clothing, and suitable waterwear. What more could be asked? The only step that could be conceivably lumped on top for 'more suitable waterwear' would be bringing a raincoat, which Akaneya did, in fact, do. It was secured up front and, thus, it would be near impossible to tell that she wore next to nothing beneath. To any outside observer, it seemed just a raincoat and an ice-blue skirt.

As soon as darkness hit the cave, a great show of light began. Algae and fungi clinging to every drop of water and every mineral crystal formed on the rocky surface the cave provided began to glow altogether in a rainbow-like display. Not only did the colors shine in great bounty, filling near the entire spectrum of colors in any given glance, but they danced among one another as the algae changed their glow with each subtle difference that the air and water brought. Innumerable, uncountable factors of impossibly small changes set them off, sparking new light and fading the old, in a display truly fit for a king.

Chiaki's reaction was intriguing indeed. She seemed to squeak and then stood in awe of the lights. They were impressive, sure, but her reaction was at least a touch surprising. It was much more physical than Akaneya had anticipated, much more involved, vocal, perhaps even awe-struck. She then offered the red kunoichi a question, one that lingered in the silence for a moment. Were the lights pretty? Sure, they were, yes, but that was too simple, perhaps too boring of an answer. At last, a response came. She turned and looked at Chiaki, deep into her eyes, and said simply: "I've seen better."

The two women made their way further down, Akaneya leaving Chiaki to interpret the answer as she would and not bothering to give a follow-up response to it. The pool was quite near, and once they would reach it, that's when their real fun might begin. Until then, she carried on with her dignity and grace, the glimmering light of the cavern shimmering in response on her glossy raincoat, as she made her way down, down, down into a soaking ring of water. In only a few more moments, she ducked under a somewhat low-lying rock and found herself on the rocky ring right around a sleepy sinkhole, awaiting its use by the two travelers, with a clear view up to the dark sky above prepared to light up their night even more than the glowing microbes already had. It would, quite simply, be electric, or at the very least sparks would fly.

Not that Akaneya was exactly predicting what was to come.

Chiaki looked between the red woman before her and the algae that she had been pointing at. It gave Akaneya pause, which was to say that it did more than the other things that she had showed the other kunoichi. She smiled and said, "You've seen better?" A pause and a thoughtful expression to the cave wall, wondering if, indeed there was better to be seen throughout the world, shrugging she looked back and Akaneya had already descended further into the cenote. "You'll just have to show me sometime then!" A little perturbing that she hadn't been as many places as akaneya, but that didn't matter. She wanted to see the world with Aka, and if Aka had seen more of the world's wonders, then she would at least have a guide. A beautiful guide as well, for where Aka saw an unkempt mane, Chiaki saw rows of fire. A smile lit her face as she came to the Cenote with bated breath. It was dark, and seemed to go on for a good mile or so, and in the middle the cavern opened to the night sky.

Then it hit her, she had been... been looking at Chiaki at the time that she had said that she had seen better. What the... Really!? She really meant her. She dropped the towel a bit, almost exposing herself and gathered it around her underarms again and stammered out, "Th- th- th- that's not what you meant by you had seen better huh!?" She blushed from the tip of her nose to the tip of her toes, and she put out her own steam. "I ah. I ah haha!" She could only laugh and she gulped. She had just been thinking around the same thing and she nodded, "I guess I've seen better too. heh. Heh." She cast a sidelong gaze to the wall and then moved on, descending into the cavern below them both.

Chiaki looked up and saw that the stars were out, and that the breaking of the clouds did indeed happen that afternoon, showing the darkened city above and the billions of constellations that tread the heavens above, moving so slowly that their movement could be seen as a crawl to the things down below, the small things like Chiaki. The overwhelming sense of being small was only accentuated by the cavern. It was lit by the algae here and there, but the steam from the hot spring that had pushed its way out of the far wall kept much from growing or living near or in the first couple pools of mineral deposits. As it wound its way around the pool it eventually emptied into the cenote itself and As Chiaki made her way down to the side of the pool, she could feel that the entire cavern was heated by the hot springs.

"This is so neat!" She whispered, the whisper carrying across the cavern effortlessly, returning to her ears a moment later. She gave a grin to Akaneya and winked at the girl. She dropped her towel, the fabric cascaded down her frame, rolling off of her breasts, her slender rump, and falling to the floor like a cut ribbon. She stood there, in starlight and the by the dim light of the algae and disappeared, along with her grin, into the water.

She had been swimming with the otters many many times, and almost didn't need her chakra breathing technique to reach their little hidey hole away from the world anymore. So when she took to the water, she seemed to be at home. She twisted onto her back in the water and let herself be carried up to the surface by the air in her lungs.

Chiaki turned her head upwards and let herself tread water, "Come in! The water's perfect!" She said this, but it might be a bit cool to anyone who didn't like pool water. Pool water, usually warmed to about 83 degrees still felt cold to many people when they got in. Compared to the water of the cave of the otters, and compared to the rivers she had swum in, though, Chiaki thought this was quite warm. A fish jumped in the distance of the Cenote, splashing noises cascaded throughout the cavern.

"The fireworks are probably going to start soon, if... if you'd still like to see them we should swim to the middle."Chaiki hoped that Aka couldn't see the blush on her face. The water wasn't murky, muddy, or concealing at all, and Chiaki could see pretty clearly a good twenty or so feet down. It was completely different than the fast moving currents she had been subjected to with the otters.

"I really appreciate you coming with me." She murmured, it may as well have been shouted, "I want you to know how much this means to me." A little furtive twist in the water as she watched her.... girlfriend? Well, they hadn't labeled it, but... it was what Chiaki called Aka in her heart of hearts.

Akaneya felt proud of her little comment once it seemed to finally sink in, a sense of pride she rarely felt, and it was dashed the moment Chiaki spit her own words straight back at her. She, in turn, blushed, maybe grit her teeth a little, and kept walking. Soon, though, she reached the edge of the water - and could feel the warm radiance drifting off of it. Certainly, it was warmer than the surrounding atmosphere, and seemed to be the cause of the warmth that spread tenderly throughout the cave system. Chiaki looked to the vast expanse of emptiness in the cavern, and so too did she. The way that the cavern seemed as if to disappear over the horizon, or rather into a big, dark void that consumed the other half of the pool where algae grew thinner and where the pool might inevitably end, but it was impressive rather than intimidating as one might expect. It was a vast, empty expanse, but it was warm and wet and not so lonely. She looked to Chiaki, but before she could react the woman had dropped her towel and jumped straight into the water. Well, alright then.

Akaneya uncinched the belt and shrugged her plastic protection right off of her shoulders, letting it drop and revealing the sarong that only Chiaki had seen thus far, and only in the context of the bedroom. Apart from this, she was stark naked - not even wearing her necklace, nor her gloves, nor any sort of sash about her waist. She untied the knot that rested on her back, which caused her breastwrap to simply fall straight to the floor as it unwound itself. This was followed by untying the singular knot at her hip, and that sheet, too, fell to the floor. Now entirely naked, to skin in every sense, she casually walked off the edge and let gravity carry her into the warm pool below.

Warm. Warm indeed, it was a giant hotspring in essence. Compared to the rivers and lakes she'd swim in from time to time, as part of exercise, travel, or a mission, it was like a warm sunny day. A warm sunny day just like Chiaki, the living embodiment of a warm sunny day, who swam right beside her. A fish jumped in the distance and, for just a moment, Akaneya felt concerned about what other little things swimming in the water might be getting too close for comfort. She shook her head, mostly to get the sagging mass of hair out of her eyes, and the blue one reminded her of the fireworks. If they had to swim to the middle, so be it - she started to swim.

It was a quiet swim, subdued, making very little noise and very little splash. The perfect swim for someone trying to sneak up in the water, a spy or potentially an assassin trying to move unnoticed and catch everyone unprepared. That's not what she was trying to do, but as the saying goes: old habits die hard. Just as well, she was able to hear quite clearly what Chiaki had said, that this meant a great deal to her and she appreciated Akaneya's presence. To this, the red one had to stop and wait in place for a moment, she had to deliver a proper answer.

"It isn't a problem, Chiaki. I would rather be here, naked and wet, with you, than I would anywhere else at this festival, or even at the rented little hovel we have acquired. For that, perhaps I should apologize - I have never needed any sort of swimming attire before, so...I did not pack accordingly. We were lucky this time, that this sinkhole is 'clothing optional', but if it had not been we would not be here on time to appreciate it properly. I am sorry, Chiaki, that I've burdened you in such a way. I am relieved, though, that you enjoy it all the same."

Chiaki nodded to the girl as she shrugged off the water by shaking her head. It seemed to cling to her, but her hair was another matter. It wasn't so much that it didn't cling to it, but rather that it did nothing to tame the fire that was the girl. Aka was indeed an undousable flame. She wanted to get to the middle of the Cenote and took off like an otter would, that being, she made a huge splash at the beginning and dove deep into the water, not making a sound after that. It was about ten or fifteen feet under that she turned and looked up to the sky, the stars twinkling on the glassy surface that was rippling above her. She was able to see everything, the sky, the moonless night, the stars above, and then as she scanned and drew her head to the side to see the rest of the night, she saw Aka, swimming beneath the surface.

Staring straight up, she couldn't help but be captivated. Aka's swimming style was ultilitarian, it was quiet, calm, and the sort that you would expect from an assassin. Chiaki was impressed by it, but what she was more captivated by was the shape of the girl that she loved. Loved and wouldn't say because she was too damned embarrassed to say. She looked over the movements of her legs, the lean undertone of her body, moved up to the red between her thighs and almost gulped down some water, looking away again. If Aka only knew what she was looking at, she would...

Well, she didn't know what Aka would do. Swimming up, she got a good long look, scanning over her breasts and her naked form before breaching. Chiaki wiped the water from her eyes and let out a contented sigh, chuckling in the night air, resting exposed on her back, her hands propped behind her head, with the barest amount of chakra to keep her ears above water.

Then the redhead started to speak. She turned her head over in the water, letting her hair run over her shoulder as she did and started to tread water. Oh, she had... she had made Aka feel that way. No, that wasn't what she had meant to do at all.

"I would rather be naked and wet with you than anywhere else as well!" She giggled, a grin split her features in a warm way, almost as warm as the water. As they neared the hotsprings, the water got naturally warmer and warmer. Or was that Chiaki's own body responding to what she had seen, to what Aka had said. "As for not packing right, we'll just have to get you some swimwear sometime, perhaps when we are here?" She shrugged, "it makes no difference to me, but in Konoha, where swimsuits aren't optional well." She shrugged and moved  closer to Aka in the water.

"Aka, Listen. I-" And the rest of what she was going to say was lost in the first firework of the evening exploding overhead, lighting the great Cenote and all of the cavern around them in a bright orange light, deafeningly loud, Chiaki grinned and covered her ears. Before the next one went off, "Never mind, I'll tell you later, put your ears below the water, it should muffle the noise a bit." The next one shook the cavern a bit, as they were aiming the fireworks, should they not be extinguished, above the Cenote.

The fireworks had begun and with them, Chiaki felt like her heart was set to racing. She was laying there, in an underground lake, with the girl that she loved, but could not tell, and... and... and she had an idea. She had never used the water technique on anyone else, but she knew that she could. Perhaps they could... sink below the water and watch the fireworks from below? Would that dampen the experience? She would ask when her chance came, between fireworks, perhaps... perhaps after Aka reacted to her words.

When Chiaki spit her own words back at her again, she realized she had said something she didn't entirely mean. Well, she meant it, but the phrasing she chose might've been poor - that even being naked and wet, she still preferred Chiaki's company in a quiet cave to loneliness and loudness anywhere else. She supposed the message got across well enough at any rate, the core was there even if it was slightly muddled in translation. She seemed to finish the statement by offering Akaneya yet another shopping trip, albeit one much more revealing, essentially for the exact opposite effect, as the first time they'd done such a thing. Perhaps she just might take Chiaki up on that offer, just perhaps. It might be a confusing time, but she always manages to make it bearable.

Chiaki began to speak, and Akaneya was prepared to listen. She brushed a curly chunk of hair behind her ear and turned to face her, perhaps cocking her head just slightly, listening curiously and intently. As soon as Chiaki tried, though, an earth-shaking explosion occurred overhead, and Akaneya ducked underwater for the briefest moment. She emerged to the surface in less than a second, and saw the sparkling orange overhead. She shook herself out, especially her head, and heard a slight ringing. Although the ringing left, she was quite visibly shaken by the experience - her senses, in peak kunoichi condition, sensitive to slight shifts and movements and reliant primarily on sound and vibration detection, her natural sonar, her hypersensitivity, became a bane. Her eyes were wide, her posture stiff, but she managed to remain floating by the time her mouth dipped underwater briefly.

It took a moment for her to regain her senses, although she was still not entirely recovered from the shock. Chiaki suggested that they go underwater, and she hesitated to follow through. "These...ear-piercing quakes, I do not think I can bear them on the surface like this - but water conducts sound excellently, a lesson I have taken to my advantage many times before. Proper soundproofing consists of alternate layers: air, then mass, then air again, as many times as necessary or desired."

She sighed, "In addition, I cannot hold my breath indefinitely. I have trained, but...I am still human. Without being able to more accurately predict their rate of fire, I do not know if I can time my resurfacing properly."

Chiaki nodded to Akaneya's declaration and dove underwater, dragging the red kunoichi along with her as the next explosion happened above, shaking the water and lighting the cenote all the way down to the depths. Chiaki saw a vast network of fish and down at the bottom of the pool there were bigger fish. Bigger than the both of the kunoichi combined, but they looked sleepy.

Chiaki moved in the water and closed her eyes, focusing on the ox hand seals that she made when she was going to make the otter breath jutsu. Then she pressed her ox hand seals to her throat and to Akaneya's right as a yellow firework lit up the room with another blast, showing that Chiaki didn't shave in the shower, and well, the curtains matched the drapes. As well as showing to Chiaki that she wasn't alone in this. She blushed and opened her mouth, letting out the air that was trapped in her lungs, and the jutsu supplied some fresh air for her to breathe. She couldn't talk with this jutsu, but she didn't need to.

Instead, she grinned and pointed to her mouth, opening it and taking a deep breath and closing it, letting out a torrent of bubbles with a very wide and child-like grin. She was there, in the light of the ever increasing tempo of fireworks, some blue, some green, some red, some purple, but all lighting up the cavern, creating fireworks for them to look at each other in.

Chiaki was still stunned at how beautiful that she found Aka, in the light, with her hair flowing around her. It almost made her seem ephemeral. Chiaki took the chance to look up, the fireworks crashed overhead, creating loud booms that echoed, even in the water, but it wasn't deafening. This was going to be a night to remember. She was so close, so close that she could feel all of Aka with her sage mode. She was so close that the water made it so that she didn't need it. The ripples from Aka's every breath were felt against her bare skin as if she were one with the water.

It was warm, and wet.

And so was she.

The whole cavern seemed to quake with the next shot, but being underwater, it was at least a bit muffled. Akaneya felt Chiaki pull her down, down, down, and then paused. She did some seal, and touched each of their throats. After this, Chiaki almost seemed as if she were laughing openly, showing off the newfound ability that she'd just shared with Akaneya. The red one exhaled deeply, watching all the bubbles simply float away, but noticing that she didn't start to drown at all. In fact, she breathed in, and it felt as crisp and fresh as the cool air of an autumn wood. How curious, it was, but she knew that Chiaki had quite the affinity for water anyway - maybe not so surprising, then, that she have something like this up her sleeve or the lack thereof.

In either case, it was quite the trick. They were far enough down that the bursts from overhead were actually quite significantly dampened, they were actually tolerable! Good, then, as Akaneya turned her eyes to the stars above and saw their glittering, glimmering shapes dancing on the surface of the water. With each burst, getting bigger, brighter, and more frequent with each passing moment, the whole cavern seemed to illuminate in such dancing lights. These sparkling, twinkling bursts seemed to fascinate her, and she stared up at the sky like a child - for the moment, unburdened by the many things of her life, left innocent and staring in awe.

Now and then she let out a steady stream of bubbles in her breath, and she felt calm as she never had before. It was a serenity unlike any she had ever known, something she had always strived for but never been quite able to reach. There was no cold whipping about her, no crunching of leaves or background chatter, it was just warm and gentle water, dancing lights, and...Chiaki. She soon enough turned to look at the woman beside her and blushed, this light of her life - pretty much the only light of her life, but one that shone so bright under seemingly any circumstance that it was a constant surprise. They were like day and night between them, fire and water, and yet as she overlooked Chiaki's hovering hair and her seeming sheer enjoyment of the moment, Akaneya could not help but feel comfortable despite all the odd circumstances she found herself in.

With Chiaki, anything was comfortable.

Chiaki moved in the water as easily as she would on land. And why shouldn't she. This was her terrain. This was her home. She was completely at ease in the water and she didn't want to miss a moment with Aka, nor did she want to miss the fireworks.

It was a hard decision, what would she do. Biting her lower lip, she looked from Aka's frame up to the fireworks above, before returning her gaze to Aka and then she decided to do something that she had never done before. She moved in the absence of light, the cavern darker than it had been without the fireworks, perhaps just a breath in the great display that was going on above, and then as soon as the next firework lit up the sky, she turned Aka's body with her own towards the sky. She was suspended in the water, Aka's back against her front, she basically had the girl laying on top of her.

A smooth movement sent Chiaki's hands down from the top of Aka's shoulders to glide down the length of Aka's arms, resting where they would, before, trailing back up towards her collarbone. She pressed her chest against Aka's back, lay her chin on Aka's right shoulder, and gave her a small kiss on the earlobe. Her eyes closed and she just felt the other woman with her body, with her hands. It was bliss, then opened them, looking to the sky, an audible giggle escaping her in a torrent of bubbles, making her skin rub against the other woman. Pressing herself even more against Aka, she let out a contented sigh as she rubbed her cheek against Aka's neck, resting there, letting Aka rest on top of her, floating in the middle of the Cenote, completely forgotten by the city, forgotten by the world, they were alone.

And they were together.

In the darkness, in the briefest of gaps between bursts of celestial splendor, Akaneya felt movement. Before she could look, she felt Chiaki wrap herself around her and turn the both of them upwards, not just looking up, but laying back, but also underwater. The blue one took no time at all to start running her hands over Akaneya as she kissed, or perhaps nibbled, up top. She felt the other's hands running the length of her arms and back, clenching around her waist, running up her sides, the moment was magical as the blasts above seemed to be reaching the peak of their display.

Akaneya wiggled, just a tiny bit - maybe so little as to seem shifting her position and nothing more. Chiaki seemed to take every liberty with her wandering hands, her drifting hands, moving down from the collarbone and running over her belly, her sides, and Akaneya watched above to see the bursts of rainbow light shining almost as bright as Chiaki's smile. Red and blue above and below, bursts filling the night sky, reflecting on the water where the same two colors mingled once more. Those blue nails on her fingers, blue like the water, like her hair, like her dress, the very essence of Chiaki, were a mesmerizing sight when Akaneya thought to look down and see the hands feeling at her and exploring her every inch. Hypnotic, easy to get lost in, but altogether lithe and lively.

Soon she felt a dainty cupping on her chest, her breast, a simple feel. It was strange to her, giving her a feeling she didn't entirely comprehend. A gentle rub came forth and she bit her lip, her blush increased tenfold. She felt a hard little tip at the end of it all being placed gently between two fingers, a little squeeze. The cave fell to darkness for some time, the algae being the only light once more. All was calm, quiet, and Akaneya was content to sit there like that forever.

Then came the flash.

A rapid-fire series of explosions overhead, each brighter and bolder than the next, a grand finale to the show. Maybe it was timing, anticipation, maybe it was surprise, but she felt Chiaki's grip tighten over both of her breasts. Not confined to any singular part, but both cupped in hand and squeezed firm, just in time with the show. The cadence of the fireworks, rising and falling with each new wave of rockets launched high into the sky, provided the blue one with a rhythm to work on, to increase pressure, to decrease, to move from one to the other or to take both in hand, to tease or to squeeze, and in all this Akaneya felt herself almost limp in Chiaki's grasp. The songbird had the snake in her talons, but a feast was not her goal.

And it felt...nice.

A slight moaning might begin to escape Akaneya's lips, an impulse she could not control nor understand, but she took pleasure in the experience. The awesome power that her blue companion held in her very touch was, quite simply, beyond belief - something Akaneya never knew, never imagined. Something that was caned out of her years ago. It came back in a roaring flood like a tsunami, the feelings Chiaki inspired in her now, the feeling she had never before been allowed to know. So too came back the whip and the rod used to deny her, and she closed her eyes, tried to shut it out.

As soon as she did, the banging stopped. The light stopped. The show was over, and Chiaki slowly, slowly released her iron grip, and Akaneya was set free to drift once more. In the dim light of algae and fungus, she opened her eyes, adjusted, and began her quiet swim back to the rocky shore. The show was over, Chiaki had quit, and it seemed as though it was simply time to return to their little rented space together. It was never going to be lonely or dull with Chiaki around, but now, now maybe there was something she had been missing this whole time that might fall into place after all.

Clambering back onto the cold stone shore, Akaneya shook herself free of water, and used one of the sheets to help the process along. She proceeded to wrap it about her hips and tie a sideknot to keep it in place, after which she took the other, twisted it right in the middle, and wrapped her now very sensitive and eager breasts in it, each a cup of its own, and tied a knot around the back. Lastly, the lavender raincoat shrugged over her shoulders, buttoned up front, and cinched at the waist. To an outside observer, she would simply seem shoeless rather than half-naked - but she was as ready to go as she could be. Taking Chiaki's hand, the two women departed, returning to their cozy little hovel together.

Chiaki ran her hands down Aka’s sides, feeling the smooth skin underneath. It was weird, but the hours of exfoliation that Chiaki did every week didn’t compare to the natural smoothness of Aka’s body. Perhaps she could take a lesson or two from the red Kunoichi. She moved her hands down to circle Aka’s navel as she kissed the other girl tenderly, smoothly in the water, another eruption of bubbles was the answer that she had to a moan. She wanted to make Aka feel loved, wanted to make her feel special. She moved her hands down to her waist and clenched there, pulling Aka against her own skin, feeling the kunoichi’s every curve touch her own. She pressed herself against Aka and watched the display above, completely content.

Chiaki felt Aka wriggle under her grasp, perhaps to shift her position, perhaps not. But it was the first reaction that she got and it gave her goosebumps. She giggled, the water cascading with bubbles from that and she  moved her fingers moved down to Aka’s waist, encircling her in a quick hug, pressing herself firmly against the girl as the display started to reach a climax. The rainbow colors streamed out above, there was almost no rest between the explosions on the surface.

Chiaki’s hands cupped the bigger woman’s breasts, a light brushing, a hesitation, a butterfly on the wing landing on a branch. She didn’t know what to do, really, and she was nervous that she was going to touch Aka in the wrong way, touch her and scare her off. She was still scared of that. She was scared that she was the little viper in the grass, and that Aka had budded to be the sparrow in the tree. She didn’t know whether she was going to bolt off, not talk to her anymore, but she… but she also was getting into the whole of Aka, the touch of her, the warmth that came off of her, it was intoxicating, and warm like she was.

Chiaki moved her fingers below Aka’s nipple, feeling it, touching it before reaching with two fingers and giving it a light squeeze. It hardened under her grasp, easily, and she lay behind Aka, with the pounding of the fireworks matching the pounding of her heart as she kneaded the soft flesh of Aka’s breast with her hand, her fingers staying closed, lightly pulling at the little nub.

Chiaki and Aka were once again left in the darkness, the algae the only light in the tunnel. It seemed to come back to life as the lights went out above, and Chiaki gave a contented sigh as she pressed her leg against Aka’s rump, rubbing her breasts on Aka’s back and digging her chin into the bigger kunoichi lightly.

She slipped her other hand to cup the other breast and knew the finale was coming, positioning her other fingers so that they held the tip of her breast as well, she waited. She paused, and with bated breath she started.

The flash started her fingers to movement.

Her grip tightened on both of Aka’s breasts, she pushed her own body into Aka’s wanting to feel all of Aka against her. She moved her hands like a masseuse would, she move them like a dancer moving across the stage, she moved them like a lover would in the throes of ecstasy. And she lost herself in the movement, in the feel, in the pleasure of the moment.

She felt herself become predatory, a build up, the predatory sensation turned to one of tenderness, but she still felt the fire in her belly to do more, to feel more, to make Aka feel more. She was a giver, and she loved to make others feel pleasure. What better person to feel pleasure than Aka?

A trickle of bubbles emanated from Aka as she held onto the other girl, it was a moan, she could hear it beneath the water, even with the deafening explosions above, she could hear the moan, she could feel it, beneath the water. The taste of Aka’s moan, emotionally, set Chiaki’s blood to boil. She moved her hands rhythmically, and she tried to keep them both righted, both pointed at the display above. She wanted to make Aka feel like she was the only girl in the world, like she was the only one that mattered to Chiaki because, well, she was. Chiaki couldn’t think of anyone who mattered more to her in the whole of the shinobi world, and she didn’t want to let her go. She wanted to make her feel more important than anything. She wanted to let her feelings come out through her touch.

She moved and as she did, the lights died out, she wanted to keep going, but it was over, perhaps she should stop too? She didn’t know what to do so she let go of Akaneya’s breasts. Chiaki had made plans to just enjoy the fireworks, but… but something had happened to that plan. It wasn’t so much as dashed as it was… built upon? She didn’t know what to make of it, but she didn’t want to spoil it either.

She watched as Akaneya moved slowly towards the shore, and drifted up to the surface, bobbed there for a moment, and sighed, shaking her head. Was it alright for her to feel this way? Was it alright for her to make Aka feel this way?

She set her jaw and then smiled. Of course it was alright for Chiaki to make Akaneya feel this way, after all, she was her… well. Now she was her lover. Perhaps a girlfriend? Perhaps… perhaps they didn’t need labels. They were, and enjoyed each other's company.

Chiaki moved towards land and wrapped the towel around her armpits, tucking one corner into another and watched as Akaneya tucked one side of her into the towel, and then another, and made sure that the casual observer wouldn’t think that she had just come from bathing in the Cenote. Perhaps that was wise, but perhaps… perhaps it was exciting for people to stare, and think about what the two of them had done.

Akaneya extended her hand and Chiaki gripped it, grinning like a fool. Like a fool in love.

A fool in love that couldn’t spill that bean because it might mean losing what she already had.

So she buried it, and let it drown in the Cenote for now as she walked back to their hovel. The hovel they shared, and thought of a plan to make Akaneya feel even better that night. The night was young, and because they had only ridden here, they both probably had plenty of energy left. It was only reasonable that Chiaki provide some entertainment for the both of them.

Right?
