Mission Description:A merchant by the name of Shiruku Torēdā has requested shinobi protection as he travels from Konohagakure to a neighboring village. He is concerned about bandits and highwaymen, and wishes for village escorts mostly to ease his mind. The mission calls for both the protection of Torēdā, but also the safe delivery of his goods. Should his supplies be lost or destroyed, payment for them will be deducted from the shinobi’s own pay upon completion.

Mission Details: One of the following scenarios will occur during the mission, it is up to the taker(s) to decide which occurs. If repeating the mission, choose a different scenario than the previous attempt.

• All’s well that ends well. The mission, while possibly quite boring, ultimately proves routine. Aside from some inclement weather and the merchant’s constant need for idle conversation, nothing of note happens.
  
• Roadside Repairs. During the mission the merchant’s wagon will suffer some damage from ill road conditions, such as breaking an axle or losing a wheel. Time must be taken to find a way to repair the wagon, and poor weather conditions will only aggravate this task.
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Vicious wolfpack. Part way through the journey a large pack of wolves will appear, half starved and desperate for a kill. There will be half a dozen wolves in total, led by an alpha that is black and significantly larger. The wolves possess D tier stats, with D-3 speed and perception. The alpha possesses C tier stats, with C-3 strength, speed, and perception.
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Bandit clan. A bandit clan will ambush the merchant as he reaches a dense part of the forest. The bandits are well organized, with C tier stats, D tier weapons and armor, and have booby-trapped the forest with crude snares and traps. They number 5 in total, though when 3 or more have been killed or incapacitated the survivors will attempt to flee. Dead or alive, all that matters is that the merchant and his goods are protected.

Mission Description: Woodsman from the forests north of Konohagakure request assistance dealing with a large wolfpack they say threatens their livestock. The beasts are elusive, avoiding common traps and tracking employed by local hunters. They attack only at night, retreating to their den during the day. The woodsman want the pack thinned down to half its size, preferring the shinobi kill males over females. They also request the bodies of any wolves in good condition, so they may make use of the pelts.

Mission Details: One of the following scenarios will occur during the mission, it is up to the taker(s) to decide which occurs. If repeating the mission, choose a different scenario than the previous attempt. Regardless of scenario, the wolves average 20 total adults, with stats ranging from D-3 to C-2 throughout depending on their size and build.

• (:crossed_swords:) Rapid. The wolves are uncharacteristically seen during the daytime. Upon closer investigation they are rabid, foaming at the mouths. The disease has spread to the entire pack, and every animal must be put down to stop the spread as well as give them a humane death. Kill the entire pack, then burn their corpses to assure the disease does not travel to scavengers.
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Bears. Large grizzly bears are emerging from their dens, competing with the wolves for food. A family of bears is being attacked by the wolves, including a large male, a mother, and two cubs. The adult bears posses B-Tier strength, but C-Tier other stats, while the cubs possess D-tier stats. The bears will fight the wolves until they see an opening to run, though if their cubs are killed they will enrage and fight until death.
  
• Forest Fire. A terrible storm rages during the search for the wolves, and lighting strikes ignite dry grasses and spark a raging forest fire. The wolves are no longer priority, return to the woodsmen’s camp and help defend their homes from the blaze. In the morning the wolves’ den can be found, all animals dead from smoke inhalation inside.
  
• Surly hunters. Hearing word of this fearsome wolfpack, hunters and trappers from around the region have flocked to chance themselves at fame. The men are unruly, arrogant, though quite skilled. Mission Description: A handsome, but very arrogant nobleman of some distant relation to the Daimyō has requested bodyguard(s) for several days. Going by the name Uso Tsuki, he refuses to acknowledge for what reasons he is in need of shinobi protection, only that it is urgent they do so at once. The nobleman lives in a stately castle, overlooking a modest city a day’s ride north of Konohagakure. Simply protect him for the specified length of time, and assure that no bodily harm occurs to him.

• Scorned Lover. During the evening, some time after dinner an enraged women will burst into the nobleman’s bedroom, throwing objects and cursing up a storm. Calm the belligerent woman, and see that she does not harm the nobleman.
  
• Meet the In-Laws. It turns out, the nobleman in question wished to appear more important politically than he truly is. He hired shinobi as a ruse, to make himself seem like an important political target. He will beg for compliance in this ruse, and ask that his bodyguard(s) play along and feed lies to his in-laws during a family dinner. His mother-in-law is however, quite shrewd and will see through this deception unless thoroughly convinced.
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Gambling Debts. As it turns out, the nobleman has amassed considerable debts to a local gambling hall. Hiding from the public, he has been accosted multiple times by local thugs sent to warn him. Threatened with violence, the man hired bodyguard(s) in the hopes of deterring his debt collectors. Four well armed thugs will attempt a shakedown on the nobleman upon reaching his home city. The thugs are strong, well armed, but ultimately not shinobi. They posses C-3 strength, but D tier stats otherwise. It is not required to solve the nobleman’s gambling debts, only protect him from bodily harm for the duration of the mission.

Awkward though it may be, he asks that he be protected all throughout his wedding day and the following ceremonies. There will be fun and games, music and dance, food and drinks. Mission Description: A local tavern owner has requested help with a group of men that come to his business nightly. The men have accumulated quite the tab, but make no effort to pay it off, always giving an excuse or saying they would next time. The owner has had it, and requests shinobi scare some sense into his unruly patrons. He also hopes they will be able to force the men to pay up.

Mission Details: One of the following scenarios will occur during the mission, it is up to the taker(s) to decide which occurs. If repeating the mission, choose a different scenario than the previous attempt.

• Compliance. The drunkards are intimidated by the fact the owner went to such levels as to get shinobi involved, and quickly change their tone. Their apathy quickly changes to remorse, as after some mild intimidation or threatening they are scared straight. The leader of the group apologies, and offers to cover the cost of the mission if it means making amends with the owner.
  
• Belligerence. The drunkards are not intimidated by the fact the owner hired shinobi as glorified debt collectors. They will verbally berate the owner, and the shinobi, threatening physical violence as things escalate. Upon a show of force, but it a threat or otherwise, the drunkards will back down. Though unhappy about it, they will pay off as much of their tab as possible and leave, promising to pay the rest another night.
  
• Drunkenness. The drunkards are particularly intoxicated this evening, well beyond their usual sensibilities. The women will be mortified by their spouses behavior, profusely apologizing on their behalf and paying off their husbands’ debts. The drunkards will then be forcibly dragged from the establishment, their wives throwing out all manner of chores and punishments they will make them endure for this.

Objective: Hunt the White Stag, ideally capturing it alive.
Location: Hi no Kuni (Forests)
Reward: 300 Ryo
Repeatable: ✓
Mission Description: An elderly hunter has spotted a rare albino stag, a most prized wild game. Too old to hunt the beast himself, he has hired shinobi to carry out the task for him, tracking the stag via his last known location of it. He hopes it can be returned to him alive, but even if dead he wants the pelt and hide, as well as the meat and bones to sell.

Mission Details: One of the following scenarios will occur during the mission, it is up to the taker(s) to decide which occurs. If repeating the mission, choose a different scenario than the previous attempt. The White Stag is only hostile if trapped or backed into a corner. It has C-3 stats, except for B-Rank speed and perception. It will always attempt to flee, and is spooked at the slightest noise.

• Foul Weather. The day of the hunt has a terrible rainstorm, with sheets of rain and constant thunder strikes. While the rain obscures vision, and the thunder masks sound, the White Stag will be easier to sneak up on, but more difficult to find. Conventional tracking methods such as scent or tracks will be useless, though the storm does little to deter chakra assisted techniques.
  
• Flash Flooding. Heavy spring rains and winter snow melt have swollen the river banks to bursting. During the hunt, the White Stag will be found drinking at a river bank. Keen enough senses can spot the flood coming in advance, but the flooding cannot be prevented by anything less than an A-Rank Earth or Water Release technique. If unable to halt the flood, the shinobi will need to act quickly to capture their prey and escape before a mudslide of trees and rocks buries the area surrounding the riverbanks.  
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Wolfpack. Upon finding the White Stag, so too will a hungry wolf pack. If not quick the beasts will kill the stag and mangle its body beyond usability to the hunter. Deter the wolves, or kill them if need be. There are 6 wolves in total, all but the alpha possess D-2 stats, with the largest having C Rank stats. If the alpha is killed, the hunter will congratulate the shinobi, and offer to make a really cool cloak from its pelt for them.
  
• Injured Hunter. During the hunt for the White Stag, cries for help will be heard. Another hunter has fallen into a ravine, mangling his leg and becoming pinned under a large rock. His leg is badly injured, needing a splint at minimum before he can put weight on it. Without medical ninjutsu of sufficient rank to mend bones, there is little to be done for the man. Haul him back to the old hunter’s cottage before returning to the hunt. Afterwards he can be tended for and brought back to the village for proper medical examination.
  
• Stag Sage. Upon finding the White Stag it will stand its ground, and use B-Rank defensive Senjutsu to block any offensive techniques sent against it. He will explain the White Stag is one of his summons, and upon explaining the mission he will instead offer his cloak and bow, both made of antlers and white furs, as compensation for the troubles. [b]Mission Description:[/b] An elderly hunter has spotted a rare albino stag, a most prized wild game. Too old to hunt the beast himself, he has hired shinobi to carry out the task for him, tracking the stag via his last known location of it. He hopes it can be returned to him alive, but even if dead he wants the pelt and hide, as well as the meat and bones to sell.

[b]Mission Details:[/b] One of the following scenarios will occur during the mission, it is up to the taker(s) to decide which occurs. If repeating the mission, choose a different scenario than the previous attempt. The White Stag is only hostile if trapped or backed into a corner. It has C-3 stats, except for B-Rank speed and perception. It will always attempt to flee, and is spooked at the slightest noise.

[*]Foul Weather. The day of the hunt has a terrible rainstorm, with sheets of rain and constant thunder strikes. While the rain obscures vision, and the thunder masks sound, the White Stag will be easier to sneak up on, but more difficult to find. Conventional tracking methods such as scent or tracks will be useless, though the storm does little to deter chakra assisted techniques.
[*]Flash Flooding. Heavy spring rains and winter snow melt have swollen the river banks to bursting. During the hunt, the White Stag will be found drinking at a river bank. Keen enough senses can spot the flood coming in advance, but the flooding cannot be prevented by anything less than an A-Rank Earth or Water Release technique. If unable to halt the flood, the shinobi will need to act quickly to capture their prey and escape before a mudslide of trees and rocks buries the area surrounding the riverbanks.  
[*](:crossed_swords:) Wolfpack. Upon finding the White Stag, so too will a hungry wolf pack. If not quick the beasts will kill the stag and mangle its body beyond usability to the hunter. Deter the wolves, or kill them if need be. There are 6 wolves in total, all but the alpha possess D-2 stats, with the largest having C Rank stats. If the alpha is killed, the hunter will congratulate the shinobi, and offer to make a really cool cloak from its pelt for them.
[*]Injured Hunter. During the hunt for the White Stag, cries for help will be heard. Another hunter has fallen into a ravine, mangling his leg and becoming pinned under a large rock. His leg is badly injured, needing a splint at minimum before he can put weight on it. Without medical ninjutsu of sufficient rank to mend bones, there is little to be done for the man. Haul him back to the old hunter’s cottage before returning to the hunt. Afterwards he can be tended for and brought back to the village for proper medical examination.
[*]Stag Sage. Upon finding the White Stag it will stand its ground, and use B-Rank defensive Senjutsu to block any offensive techniques sent against it. Location: Konohagakure

Mission Description: A breakin during the middle of the night has left a local jeweler missing tens of thousands of ryo in inventory. He requests immediate assistance in tracking down the thieves, but has little to assist in helping the investigation. Track down the thieves, and return the stolen goods as quickly as possible.

• Military Police. Investigators from the Military Police are already on scene, working on forensics. They will help corroborate stories and expedite the search, narrowing down a possible list of locations. Once captured hand the criminals over to the Military Police for booking.
  
• Incompetence. The criminals are not the sharpest kunai in the shed, and left horribly incriminating evidence at the scene of the crime. Working on behalf of a rival jewelry a few blocks downs the street, they were hired by the owner in an attempt to sabotage his business rival.

Objective: Bandits are raiding local traders, they must be killed or captured at once.
Location: Hi no Kuni
Reward: 300 Ryo
Repeatable: ✓
Mission Description: Local merchants are up in arms over a rise in banditry on the roads along a mountain pass. Bandits ambush them at the narrowest part of the pass, demanding tribute and killing anyone who doesn’t comply. A mission has been taken out, calling for the bandits to be killed or captured if preferrable. Regardless of the outcome, their hideout must also be found and destroyed to send a message to others who would do the same.

Mission Details: One of the following scenarios will occur during the mission, it is up to the taker(s) to decide which occurs. If repeating the mission, choose a different scenario than the previous attempt. The bandits themselves number 10 in total, and posses D-2 stats and D-Rank weapons and armor. They will fight until a half of their numbers are killed or captured, then flee. The leader however, has C-Rank stats with a C-Rank weapon.

• (:crossed_swords:) Booby Traps. The bandits have the mountains rigged with deadly traps, these are equivalent to D-Rank jutsu in terms of detection and damage. Their hideout is also rigged with traps, employing poison darts, flaming arrows, and even toxic gas.  
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Packmasters. The bandits have trained a large wolfpack to serve as their companions in battle. In addition to the bandits, they also have a half dozen combat trained wolves. These beasts have D-2 stats and will flee if their masters are killed. The wolves do have keen sense of smell, and will alert the bandits to the shinobi much earlier than normal.
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Live to Fight Another Day. The bandits will flee upon the shinobi arrival, immediately making for old mining tunnels in the back of their hideout to escape. They must be chased through the narrow tunnels, which can collapse if struck with sufficient force. Using Fire or Earth release inside the tunnels, or explosive seals, is ill advised.
  
• (:crossed_swords:) Out with a Bang. The bandits have rigged their hideout with a large number of explosives. Upon taking near fatal damage their leader will set off his final act of defiance. The shinobi will have seconds to escape, before the hideout explodes into a fireball equivalent to an A-Rank Fire Release with maximum damage and radius.
