Clan History: The word is a large place. Many ninja think they are the sole masters of the planet but that is far from the truth. Across the blood darkened oceans lie vast continents filled with people both strange and savage. While often larger in size than the average denizens of the Ninja lands they are far from uniform in their customs and behavior.

There are many reasons an outlander might arrive in ninja country. The temptations to explore a new land, tales of great treasure, a storm having thrown ones ship well off route or even simply getting lost and finding that you have gone further afield than you have bargained for.

While the outlanders are capable of the same specifications as ninja they refer to them by different names. These are as follows:

Ninjutsu – Sorcery

Taijutsu – Pugilism

Genjustu – Illusions

Med – Alchemy

Fuinjustsu – Ritualism

Senjutsu – Druidry

Kugutsu – Automata

Outlanders also do not refer to the energy used in jutsu as chakra, instead preferring the term mana or aether.

Of course, being a foreigner in a strange land has its fair share of downsides. Many outsiders are only partially familiar with the language spoken among ninja and also stick out like a sore thumb with their strange manners of dress. Xenophobia is not uncommon among the ninja cities and thus it can be difficult for an outlander to get work easily or go about unnoticed.

Of course, there are those who see great potential in enlisting foreigners to their ends. The novel nature of knowing someone from such an exotic place is also alluding to a certain kind of ninja and so a canny outsider can happily subsist on the goodwill of others eager to learn more about his or her home.

Kekkei Genkai Description: To make an Outlander a player selects another previously existing clan and then reflavours their KKGs to for a more Western theme. This is entirely a flavor related as the mechanics of the clan remain the same with only the trappings having changed.
