Spoiler:

The Unmei Clan was one that lived up to it's animalistic totems all too well. They were ruthless, logical and mostly emotionless but when it came to Xiao Guan he was a different entity. He was not that of a typical Unmei, he wasn't bound by any fate, he was his own web weaver and though an Unmei on his mothers side the fact was that he was more human than he was spider thanks to the blood of his father.

This came with a great hindrance though, emotions and morale ran through the spider's veins as well as his mostly ethical approach to combat also came with most of his family members viewing him as something of an outsider or anomaly. He would need to prove his worth if he was ever to be something beyond that of the clan's practical joke and to do so he was tasked with a mission. Spider's had many prey, from fly and insect and even at times birds but the lizard was something that too often hunted the spider.

Reports had come out from the Land of Hotsprings that a unique Hoshigaki who had adopted not merely a fish like form but one of a reptile who specialized in Senjutsu and the Summoning of the monitor lizard was causing a great ruckess. Found within his new home, the hollowed webbed tree that resided deep within the Spider Island's forest the shinobi had taken the mission poster himself in hopes of adding another trinket to his collection kept within that hollow trunk but more importantly a chance to impress Haka Osada, the current focus for his affections as ignored as they were.

Xiao Guan circled the tree as he began to scan over the mission. He had given an alert out to the local mission boards with directions to meet near the land of hotsprings to add to this investigation. It wasn't too far and it was rumored that this Lizard Shinobi, Komodo had been taking up as his residence in one of the many hotspring parlors turning it into his personal paradise with lizard summons running amock and the bodies of human laid bare upon the roads. Being a shinobi of ethics that held life above all others he knew it was time to act and whomever had opted to come along in his quest to end the suffering of those within the village would be greeted with naught but praise from Xiao Guan and thus he would travel out to the inn outside the land of hotsprings.

--

Arriving sometime later the little shinobi would proceed to take a seat at one of the corner stalls as he thought over his plan of action. He was in no way a man of combat but instead he was a simple man who excelled at healing not harming others.

Ordering a small jasmine tea he began to gently spiral the water with the tip of a chopstick causing a whirlpool to form, something he often did whilst thinking things over. His partner, would he be a brute or perhaps a specialist? He was simply a healer and at that a genin. What this meant was the brunk of brute combat may be down to his ally...and the guilt he felt for imposing such a task weighed heavily on his soul.

Yoshi wasn't entirely sure why he was here. He had been training in Konoha for what felt like nearly a month now, preparing for the inevitable task awaiting him. The Chunin Exams were right around the corner so to speak, certainly they were on the horizon. The anxious young Genin though with nothing to lose and everything to gain, they might as well have been tommorow. He had been using his fists, trying to develop new jutsu, and trying to think of ways to beat himself so he could think like an opponent. It was a frustrating affair, one that only made him more tense whenever he failed or didn't remain up to snuff when it came to the more challenging techniques he was attempting to invent from scratch.

When rumor came along of a mysterious figure running rampant off the coast of Konohagakure, the teen was all too happy to finally take a break from his training. Apparently, this shinobi was masquerading under the guise of a lizard-like monster, terrorizing the local populace of the neighbouring Water Country. Now, being the ever faithful cynic, Yoshi was skeptical of the validity of these claims. He had never heard of a giant lizard man before, they sounded like something he'd hear late at night before going to sleep,in one of the fairy tails of his childhood. When he had pressed further on the matter and heard the gory details of the affair though, he knew that whatever this thing was, the danger it presented was very real.

Yoshi had never fought a truly scary enemy before. He had fought off bullies, sparred with others, and used tooth and nail to climb his way out of the Academy to become a Genin, and yet the evil this creature radiated was undeniable. On the one hand, it terrified him. On the other, much as he had learned from his recent mentors like Takao, he couldn't ignore the presence of unadulterated evil within the world. Thus, with a hearty dose of pragmatism, and a pouch full of modest savings, the teen set out from home for the neighbouring land of water. It would be a short trip, he would return soon, right? He certainly thought so. He had to make it back alive, he just had to- how else would he become a Chunin if he wasn't there in person for the exams?

He held the pamphlet in his hand as he walked down the street of the rendeveuz point. He was in an unfamiliar land, he had never left the village walls, let alone traveled to a foreign land! Yet, there he was. Upon discovering the Inn he was supposed to meet at, he frowned, pausing for a moment. What if his partner was just as bad as this monster? What if they were so strong that there'd be little need for a teen like him to come along and support as a Genin? All these uncertainties swirled around Yoshi's mind, ceasing once he pushed open the door to the establishment and stepped inside.

The air was thick with alcohol, it was a real local's dive. He could see the bartender give him a look, whether that was for being underage or an obvious foreigner- he couldn't tell. Instead, he slowly walked to the far wall and glided past the booths. The first contained an old man with a gaggle of women far too young for him. The second was filled with salty sea dogs each trying to out drink the other. The final booth was occupied by a single person, a boy his own age. Somewhere in Yoshi's gut, he sensed that this was the man he had been looking for. "Are you here to catch some lizard's too?" he asked, looking to the fellow Genin before sitting down opposite from him.

As he tapped his foot lightly upon the wooden floor beneath his feet and gazed deep into his jasmine tea his mind wandered to concepts of how things could so easily change just like the ripples of water in this small tea cup so too could life simply up and shift. So too could life be snuffed out, taken and thrown in an instant. As a doctor, or rather a field medic at this point, it was Xiao's duty to ensure the life of all things and creatures - great or small and this beast was prime for an antithesis for these words. Before his mother was cut down by Haka Osada she had told him to remember her words, to remember the words she often stated so proudly throughout his life that with Great Power, Came Great Responsibility. The little shinobi was all too aware of these things, all too aware of what it meant to have the option to snuff out a life but opting not to. Xiao Guan, that was his name, but he'd discussed it many times with she of spider island, the madame of webs, that it never seemed to fit him any longer as if he was reborn after spending his time among his kin and as he gazed at the small spiral forming he couldn't help but consider the truthfulness of this statement. He was changing, a metamorphosis...but would he end up like this 'Komodo' who had taken his medical jutsu to the point of transformation and cannibalism?

As the young konohagakure shinobi entered he already stood out. It was the tendency of kirigakure to hold sharpened teeth and drab near monochromatic patterns in both the intangible and the tangible all together. Kirigakure had been the bloody mist almost bi-monthly so often that many youths began to refer to these war like periods as, well, just that. Xiao Guan may have been half foreigner but he was no different to these, every Konohagakure shinobi he had met had mixed well with his own personality and yet had been so far removed from what a Kirigakure Shinobi was.
No dastardly plans or bloodlust to be seen in most of the leaf as if they carried some spark of hope, some will of fire that enabled them to surpass this cursed system and strange world and see the optimistic side to it all. Xiao was no different, though not being of Fire's birth, he certainly did hold that small light too inside of him though his was spawned from a great glistening stone of gelel from his fathers bloodline save the fire each small leaf of the great tree that was Konohagakure.

His spider-themed mask laid gently upon his brown hair as if an accessory of hair piece as he gazed up to Yoshi. The young foreigner was much larger than he was by far. It was true that in Konohagakure they grew as large as the trees themselves from the shinobi he had met. Xiao Guan only stood at roughly under 5 foot and was, for lack of a better word, a dwarf by medical standards though did not hold deformities outside of his height. Petite, pale and short compared to Yoshihiro's own 5'10 meant that the little spider looked like a speck in comparison but it kept him motivated in a sense, when it came to nerves he had a tendency to quip a little more than needed, dropping his spaghetti as if it was a natural instinct Xiao Guan tried to 'appear' cool but it didn't really turn out all that well "Huh? Oh the lizard guy...Yeah" he stated trying to sound aloof but coming off somewhat, well, stupid admittedly.

As Yoshihiro took a seat across him he laughed "Jeez, what do they feed you in Konohagakure, between you and Sachihiro Senju it's like you guys exist purely on protein powder" he remarked before extending his hand outward with that same familiar smile plastered across his face "Nice to meet you, I'm Xiao Guan, you're friendly neighbourhood kiri-nin. I'm guessing you're up for kicking some gecko guts?" he asked genuinely as he slowly began to rise from his chair before quickly sitting once more "Ah! right right, do you want...food or....like should we eat together and THEN go or should we just get to it, 'cause y'know I just got the tea to pass the time really...." he stammered looking as if he was somewhat panicked before he proceeded to tap the table gently with his hands awaiting the reply of the genin across from him so it could be decided if they were to leave now, or, well later. "I should, probably, y'know, explain what I can do. Unmei Clan's my blood, y'know, if you haven't seen that before....welll you're in for a treat. Other guy is a Hoshigaki Mutant, you ever seen one, y'know?" Xiao began to imitate the look of the large hulking beasts that were the Hoshigaki clan "They AIN'T pretty, I'll just say that" he jested before leaning back in his chair staring at Yoshihiro with a grin.

Well, it seemed that Yoshi had found his Kiri counterpart. The response that the stranger gave him told him that he was indeed in the right spot for this little side quest of theirs. The Konoha Genin wore his headband as a sort of belt around his waist, along with his regular clothes which obscured the utility belt that housed his kunai and other supplies. The boy had never traveled abroad before, but there was some sliver of common sense that had managed to snake its way into his brain that told him it wouldn't be wise to flaunt his nationality to every stranger he met. From what he was aware, Konohagakure was on rather good terms with Kirigakure, especially in the face of the rambuncious actions of Hastur and Kumo. Still, even to a rather naive boy like Yoshihiro, he knew that there were more than a few who'd wish to see him dead. For this reason, he made sure to take special precaution when coming here.

The Genin blinked a tad at the kiri nin's description of him. Did he really think Yoshi was that big? The teen looked himself over, inspecting his appearance and the like. Sure, he was rather tall, but it seemed like none of that ever really meant much when he was fighting other shinobi out in the world. Yoshi looked back to Xiao, "I dunno, but I like chicken" he said with a small shrug, kicking his feet underneath his seat a tad as he tried to make some form of small talk with the other Genin he was there to work alongside. Yoshi reached out and accepted the welcoming handshake with a small nod, "I'm Yoshihiro Joe, the one-man-clan" he stated with a small enough smile to be seen by the other boy alone.

He blinked at the offer of eating something before they got to work. Admittedly, Yoshi was feeling pretty hungry from all the walking around he had been doing as well as the long trip here. He placed hisindex finger up onto his chin in thought, humming lightly as he considered their currect predicament. "I want something to much on, yes" he decided, slapping his hands down on the table and grabbing at a menu. Maybe something light like dumplings would do the trick, he always was in the mood for some potstickers or gyoza. Motioning to one of the wandering bartenders, the teen made his order whilst Xiao spoke a bit on the kind of guy they'd be dealing with today.

"What do they do?" he asked, tilting his head a tad as he sought to learn more about the enemy they'd be facing today. Once his food came, the teen could plop a dumpling up into his mouth, chewing on it as he spoke again. "I bet that we'll beat up this guy no sweat" he reassured with a somewhat unconvincing nod. He didn't know much about the clans outside of Konohagakure, he had never really heard of them growing up in his cloistered environment. "So what can you do? I'm a ninjutsu specialist" he stated, thinking that it would be useful to learn what his partner was good at so that he could better work around him.

The little shinobi drinned as he gazed over to Yoshihiro, the guy wasn't as big as a hulking monster to be sure but being 4'9 and technically a dwarf had made the little orb weaver was hardly a mighty giant who could stand next to the average shinobi let alone one who was counted as one of the taller genin. The little shinobi rolled his finger gently around the table trying to think clearly as Yoshi stated outward "I dunno, but I like chicken" he stated with a small shrug as the Unmei Clan weaver of fates clapped his hands together "Perfect! Chicken it is!" he stated genuinely happy to have someone whom he may indulge with. As they shook hands the little orb-weaver gave out a bright grin "No WAY you're name is Yoshihiro Joe, that....That's like a movie star name! Seriously I could imagine you staring next to Yukie Fujikaze...." he laughed but realised he may have insulted the man by saying such things "Th-that is to say it's such a unique and action packed name, y'know? I like it!"

As he listened to Yoshihiro he cocked his head to the side, What do they do. He decided to demonstrate his ability, it was something he needn't weave handsigns for or proclaim a word, really it was an inherent skill for all Unmei and he was just that - an unmei. Making a quick sign of the spider to help himself focus he launched a web outward from his wrist the flew gently across the room like a graceful dancing ballet as he quickly grasped a yakitori with said web zipping it back to his hand "Basically, that. Oh and I talk a lot." Xiao Guan proceeded to lean back in his seat somewhat, seeming relaxed but really feeling utter embarassment "Apart from that? That's about all I CAN do really" he laughed to himself "Life, eh?" he stated calmly "Well...It's a long way to this last location we better get ahead-" as he spoke this he noticed it from the corner of his eye. It was slight. Near invisible to one who may have been looking for anything else but he saw it. A sideways blink from the wait staff. The eyelid shifted and rolled and it caused the young Xiao Guan to sigh and run his hands through his auburn hair "Hey....So....We should get out of here...and quickly." Xiao stated calmly as he gestured to some of the patrons looking more lizard like than human.

Xiao slowly began to stand and gently folded his napkin, gesturing to the door as the little spider began to walk slowly towards the entrance. "I say...what a lovely meal. Unfortunately...Uhh, we must...go and pick up....that thing." he stated calmly as he walked closer...and closer to the door before a reptilian fist pressed against the door. Whatever these people were, they were halfway between mutation, not full lizards like Komodo...but something else. Something like a hybrid...just like Xiao. "SO YE FOUND OUT" one of the lizards hissed as he began to walk forward, his features becoming more and more scaley, more and more twisted as he approached the two. There were 5 all in all...5 half-men half-lizards...growing each in size. Xiao looked to Yoshihiro "....So....Wanna show me that Ninjutsu now?" he stated as he proceeded to stare at the encroaching lizard masses.

Yoshirhio watched the Kirinin clap his hands at the offer of chicken. He sure seemed like a pretty otugoing guy, much against the norm of what the teen had thought all Kirigakure ninja to be like. He thought they were all part shark and hunted boats like seals before breaching out of the water to eat them. This guy didn't look like a shark, nor did he look like he was going to breach out of the water and bite into a yoshi-face'd sea lion. Instead, the other teen seemed pretty content all things considered, an aura of realxation that Yoshi could really get into the more he heard the Unemi boy talk. At hearing his opinion of his name, the boy blushed a tad at the compliment, waving his hand in front of him to try and dismiss the nice quip, "Ah, well, it's the only one I got you know I gotta make it work" he replied, watching as the order was made. "There was this homeless guy I used to walk past on my way home from the Ninja Academy, he was a washed up Jonin named Joe. He was a violent drunk, but he kept talking to passerby's about 'tommorow being the day' to fight for. I guess that I didn't have a family name for myself as an orphan and thought being Tommorow's Joe was worth naming myself after" he explained, feeling strangely at ease with the ninja he had only just met a few moments ago. The memory of those long walks home still stuck in his mind, fresh despite the years since adopting the surname.

Oh, it seemed Xiao was gonna show what he could do- WHAT THE HELL? Yoshi's eyes widened as the spider's webbing shot from the other boy's wrist, flying across the bar and landing on the sheathed sword of some nameless sailor. The boy's mouth dropped down, "W-w-what was that?" he asked, his mouth making an 'o' shape as he saw the feat firsthand. He had never seen that hand seal before either, certainly not at the ninja academy nor in any of the jutsu manuals he had read. Was it a custom seal? Was that even possible? Yoshi tried to calm himself as he munched down on a hearty shank of chicken that the server had put at their table, an ear perked up so that he could hear what it was that Xiao was saying to him. Just as it seemed he would learn more about their enemy though, the Kiri nin stated that it was time for them to leave.

Furrowing his brow in confusion, Yoshi looked over to see a gaggle of strange looking men approach their booth. They looked bizzare, like their skin was actually scaled flesh hidden by only a thin layer of that outer covering. Yoshi munched on his chicken as he watched Xiao try to get up and slink away only for one of the lizard men to block the way out. It seemed that these people were some kind of mutation between this Komodo ronin and a regular human. "Who are these weirdos? They look like the wrong end of a corn on the cob and a pile of moldy mashed potatos" the boy casually insulted, raising an eyebrow as they threatened his newfound friend. It seemed that they wouldn't be able to get out of this without some sort of confrontation, osmething that the other patrons of the bar began to notice as well.

Oh well, no time to try out some Chunin-level ninjutsu like now. "Alright!" the teen said, standing up and clapping his hands together as he looked over the arrayed group of lizard folk. He counted them, there were five in total. Yikes, those were some nasty odds. "I just got three words for you scaled folk!" the teen decreed, holding his hands as they were clapped together casually- secretly building a high amount of Futon between the two. One of the lizards stepped forwards to shut the kiddo up before he could speak again, "Step off!" Yoshi shouted, releasing his clasped hands and throwing the compressed wind forwards. A blast of Futon would rocket forwards, cutting those in its path and knocking them back... in this case, with such tight quarters, that included pretty much all of the lizard men in the bar. The teen would pull out a kunai, "That's what I can do!" he stated to his newfound partner, getting ready for a heck of a fight!

"Who are these weirdos? They look like the wrong end of a corn on the cob and a pile of moldy mashed potatos" Yoshihiro stated in a brash way that made the little spider shinobi smile, he adored people with a strong sense of character and personality above all things and to see Yoshihiro say such a thing made the little shinobi of the webs feel as though he could trust him to watch his back a good sign indeed as for this coming battle they would need it. The weight of a shinobis worth in this current era was often held gently by twin steel chopsticks and it meant any movement or weight shift could cause the 'food' to fall from the grasp of the other. A distrustful world, a world that was made not only to strike out at things beyond the control of those involved but so too deeply rooted in the folly of man. Xiao truly did hope that one day he would observe a united shinobi front as opposed to the current era of vassal states and controlled opposition. "Well, I can't say for sure Yo-Jo, but I've got an inkling it's what happens when you don't listen to your ma's advice to eat your vegetables...Good thing I'm a mama's boy and forced 'em down."

Yo-Jo gave a cheer of Alright to which Xiao proceeded to 'kneel' somewhat squatting and posing infront of the shinobi as the 5 continued to make their way forward. He was an unmei, an elite of kirigakure, one of the horde and he hadn't let loose in some time. To let his 'spider' side out, as docile as said spider side tended to be that was. "Y'know, I hear people would pull the tail of lizards and they regrow, let's find out eh?" Xiao joined in the taunting as the lizards continued their stumble forward. "I just got three words for you scaled folk!" Yoshihiro stated as he perfected a blast of wind that blew one of the lizards backwards with the shout of Step off. It was two words, not three, but Xiao let it slide in part because he was prone to making such mistakes too but also because honestly he just found it funny and that was of the utmost importance for Xiao. His pulse began to quicken like his veins were filled with gasoline, that lovely feeling of adrenaline. It was a rush and honestly something that he utterly adored, the feeling of a palpatating heart, his heart pounding and telling him it was time to fight, flight or freeze and thus far his lack of fear or rather lack of a brain had often tended him to opt for option one time and time again.

With the lizard men knocked backwards Xiao rubbed his neck for a moment and let out a slow sigh "Well, time to make the donuts." He stated calmly as he loosened his neck and extended his arms in a wide parallel shooting two webs to either side of the bar giving him a large arch to push himself up onto the roof where he attached firmly utilising his mystical walking ability looking down from above upside down. He looked to Yoshihiro with a smile as he stated with pride that this was his ability "That's awesome Yo-Jo! Hey, we should go sailing, totally wouldn't ever need to wait for a gust with your ability!" Xiao stated as he gave a quick smile "So uhhh 2.5 each I guess" little spider stated as the five were knocked against the bar wall they began to stagger upwards, slowly rising up as they growled and snarled towards Yoshihiro. Xiao quickly thought about it, though the wind technique was amazing how long could two genin sustain this? It was a numbers game so it was time to do some math.

As the five began to approach Yo-Jo, Xiao would quickly flick two web strings down to draw the attention of two of the lizards as he summersaulted down onto the top of the bar standing near the cupwear "So. What can I get for you fellows?" he quipped as he looked directly at the two more beastial men who began to shamble forward, the first lunged forward with it's claws outward and teeth bearing leaping towards Xiao who proceeded to place his hands onto the bar, flipping into a flat form that caused the lizard man to leap over him and smash into the collection of spirits causing Xiao to look down upon him and shrug "Seriously? Those cost more than you think, I know the prices here are ridiculous but you don't need to be pushy." he remarked as he heard the faint snort of wind from the second lizard behind him feeling the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end, flipping upward and spurting a web into the eyes of the second lizard before leaping directly behind him with his tail between Xiao's legs "Hey! No cutting in line!" the tail fwipped to the side and caused Xiao to stumble, almost falling flat but utilising his hands and natural 'sticky' ability derived from his Unmei clan blood to turn to a hand stand and then a flip upright to stand once more as Xiao grinned "Y'know I TOLD the manager we needed a ticket system." he remarked using his only known technique really, his mouth.

The lizard toyed with the webbing in his eyes in a deep struggle as the other who had previously ran into the bar proceeded to get up, now running on all fours towards Xiao like the hulking beast he was. Xiao smiled with a devilish smile "Was it something I said?" he knew the angrier they became the wilder they would soon be, the more he did to aggrevate them meant the more they would forget their humanity. As the lizard brutishly lunged forward Xiao shot a spider web to the ceiling and repelled upward for but a moment until the lizard was directly under him and proceeded to fly straight downward delivering a hard curb stomp to the lizards head knocking him cold. The other flung the webbing to the side and snorted as he looked to Xiao who now stood upon the civilian turned beast. "Soooo....come here often?" Xiao stated with a grin as the lizard growled deeply bellowing out a roar as it thrashed the bar, picking up the bar itself and lifting it above it's head, hurling it towards Xiao who made a mental note - this transformation, cursed seal, senjutsu or whatever it was definitely increased their strength but their endurance was definitely still human. They were just patrons at a bar with incredible strength, though thuggish and most likely a threat for many they were no more than giving a baby a gun. A threat to be sure and one to be extinguished but still a baby that could be easily kicked away as a football if so needed. A thing to note. Why would Komodo want to target normal people and not shinobi? Was the Land of Hotsprings in decline so much that it had no shinobi left or was there something deeper?

As the bar flew towards Xiao's head he proceeded to leap forward, attaching himself to the thrown piece of the bar roughly the size of a wrecking ball itself and scurrying along it's side, then with a quick motion as he leaped off the other side towards the lizard he would shoot a webbing backwards, attaching to the piece of the bar itself and spinning his axial weight to cause the bar to swing in an arch towards the lizard man using the increased momentum to essentially smash the Lizard-man through the wall. Xiao landed gently next to the wanton destruction and scraped his finger across the top of the bar table twisting his thumb and pointer finger together "I gotta say guys....This place sure isn't up to health code standards. Gotta deduct you for the chunk of the bar you're missing." he stated with a slow sarcastic shake of the head.

Xiao looked to the whole in the wall with webbing trailing out and then over to the knocked out lizard stroking his chin. "That's 2....I feel like I'm forgetting something..." he muttered to himself thinking about what it could possibly be. He counted on his fingers slowly before clicking "RIGHT! The point five!" Xiao stated looking over to Yoshihiro and then to whatever was close to him. Glasses? No, too fragile. The bar? No, too heavy. Then his eye moved to something that could definitely work. Not in a lethal way but it would definitely do to distract and aid Yoshihiro. Quickly ducking behind the bar Xiao proceeded to grab the large spouts under the bar filled with an assortment of ales, beers and highly carbonated beverages and with a quick webbing tied them together, leaping on to the surviving part of the bar top he proceeded to aim his makeshift supersoaker towards the three lizards left to Yoshihiro "Hey Yo-Jo, remember we need one to interrogate!" he remarked "Regardless, Looks like these fellas need to cool off, maybe a refreshing drink?" he stated kicking the nozzles gauge to maximum with his foot unleashing a wave of bear and soda that rocketed towards the three lizard men as if a high pressure water hose the would cover the area.

This was Bannanas!

Yoshihiro watched as the lizard men got knocked back, caught off guard by the sudden blast of air that rocketed towards them as both a blunt and cutting force. Gale Palm was a jutsu that had saved his behind more times than he could count, and just like those many times before, it was getting him out of a jam now. He smiled as he saw his flawless plan immediately work like clockword, the knicks and cuts crashing into the lizard shinobi's skin plastering that same satisfying grin on his face. It was a small moment of victory, but one that would quickly be dashed as things got out of hand very quickly. He watched as the five lizard guys began to sloooowly get up, all while Xiao was busy making jokes about lord knows what- did he ever stop talking??? Sure Yoshi had thought it was endearing when first meeting the other boy, but as that social encironment transitioned into one of actually fighting people, he was quickly starting ot wonder just what all that webbing jutsu was going to do for them.

"Uhh, Xiao, the lizard people look very angry!" Yoshi said, watching as the lizards got back up to their feet a taaad quicker than the Genin would've wanted, causing him to pull out a Kunai in defense even as he watched the large scaled humanoids slowly encircling him from all sides. Yoshi's back was up against the wall. He needed more room to make a big fight like this work, fighting inside such a small building, a bar, wasn't ideal for his kind of style. Thankfully, Xiao used his get out of jail free cards and slammed into these suckers just as the semi circle around Yoshi seemed to be getting too tight. Two quick shots of webbing drew the attention away of two of the lizards. Yoshi grinned, that would do nicely. He kicked a table up of the ground towards the three lizard folk Immediately, he willed an immense gust of air to flow forwards, shooting the bar with a suddenly increased gust of propulsion that smacked it into the duo of big and ugly. Unfortunately, this combo wasn't without its drawbacks, as it also threw Yoshihiro forwards a tad, caushing him to land on the table that the two lizards were standing on.

There was a somewhat comical moment of the duo realizing their enemy was right on top of them, right before time started again. The table was thrown back and up off them with their unusual strength, prompting Yoshihiro to give out a yelp and jump up into the air, then again, before tossing out a hard side kick to one lizard's head, causing it to stumble backwards in what would likely be a concussion even to a normal human. It was a small victory, but it was small victories that caused a shinobi to be victorious, especially when against multiple enemies in a close quarters fight as he was now. With his last remaining burst of airwalking, the Genin kicked the air directly lateral to him, pushing him away from the standing lizard who reached out to grab at his leg only to find him zipping away. The teen gracefully landed on the ground, watching as the lizard next attempted to bull rush him and pin him against the wooden wall. Yikes, that'd be bad.

Just as the distance was closed, the Genin slid down onto his back in a fluid and controlled motion, tilting his head back and blowing out a strong puff of air that pushed him between the creature's legs and out of danger. The lizardman stumbled forwards, unable to stop its own momentum as it suddenly crashed its head into the wall, going limp as it accidentally knocked itself out. Great, that was one doooooo- "WAAAAAG" the teen yelled as he felt himself get picked up and thrown across the bar by the other creature's surreal strength. With a thud, Yoshi fell onto a nearby table, dazed a tad before quickly regaining his awareness. It seemed the one he thought he had concussed with that kick was still coming after him. It had pulled out a butcher's knife from behind the barcounter and was now stalking towards the teen menacingly. Yoshi grabbed at one of his kunai and tossed it forwards. As expected, the lizard easily deflected it, causing it to ricochet off towards the side.

A second later, Yoshi activated the Futon he had placed on the kunai, causing it to suddenly be shot forwards and redirected to aim right at the back of the lizard's head, embedding itself directly in the creature's blind spot. It howled in pain briefly before stumbling to the side and falling unconscious, it was donezo. Still full of adrenaline and survival instinct, Yoshi clambered up to his feet, looking around the now empty bar as Xiao finished up wrangling their last enemy. The .5 in their 2.5 for each of them. Grumbling a tad about needing to be quicker, he watched as Xiao shot the lizardmen with a powered super soaker of booze, knocking them towards the other side of the room and well out of the fight.

"Alright, let's make like a tree and get the heck out of here" the teen said, looking over to Xiao. "I know how to get the truth out of this guy" he sated, walking over to the last remaining lizard who was now at their mercy. He grabbed at the man by the lapels,  "WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS HE?" he asked over and over, shaking the lizard to get some sort of answer out of him. With this done, he looked to Xiao, "Lets get out of here!" before throwing himself out the window... Even though he could've just walked out the door. Look, it was a cool action scene, his first really big one at that, he was high on adrenaline, he had to make a cool exit! Regardless, Yoshi would flee the scene alongside Xiao and their captive, preparing to figure out the secrets of the evil Komodo...

"Alright, let's make like a tree and get the heck out of here" Yoshihiro stated much to the delight of Xiao, he liked this fellow and to team up with yet another konoha nin was quite the honor. He felt a true comradity with the shinobi of the leaf, something he felt with his Kirigakure brothers. Though indeed they were Kirigakure's subordinates in eyes of many a patriot Xiao never saw the world in such heiarchal ways instead he found the best things in life came to being open and patient, to let things come as they were. He had a passion and an understanding of the need of regulation rule and border of course, but in the little spiders heart was a spirit of freedom as if a will of fire on his own. "Sounds good to me" Xiao stated as he smiled to Yoshihiro with a thumbs up.

As Yoshihiro violently gained the information on Komodo's location, the village center of the land of hotsprings. So the hoshigaki was quite literally hiding in a hotspring in the land of hotsprings. Admittedly he never really saw such an event coming, to hide somewhere so obvious but all at once here it was. It was here that Xiao would then see Yoshito quite literally leap from the window onto the village center to ensure the victory over the grand komodo. Giving a shrug Xiao proceeded to follow suit, rushing forward and chasing after Yoshihiro through the window.
