Alright... now that Himi was inside and safe and not in any more danger; he could focus on something other then blind panic. In fact; he needed a drink. And to actually get to work for a bit. She'd asked for some time to rest and study; and he was happy to oblige. He focused on students best if it was one at a time anyway. He could get himself a good, stiff drink; and discuss Skye's training like he'd planned. They could work on the actual physical training and team exercises when he half a mind to plan them. Or half a mind to know what the hell he was doing with them. It was easy enough to catch up with the kid; or have one of his snot-nosed cousins run the note for the new meeting up; it was a loooong, confusing walk through the outer areas of the Thunder Grounds to get back into the village; and the Tsukino knew all the little shortcuts and trails better then they knew their own names.

So inside he sat; nursing what was for the moment just hot tea and munching on salty bar foods of various qualities; food while concussed was always a bad idea with him; but the salt was strangely helping. Must have fucked himself over worse then he thought during the run home. Oh well. Now was the time to wait for his student to appear.~

Skye headed out to see as soon as he got word of Raijin having a do-over for the previous training session. Again, he had to recall the directions of where he was going in his head. Surprisingly he remembered the location pretty well. It was where he met Karoshi and Sanosuke for the first time. He found it funny how he was able to remember all of this. Usually, he would forget about it if it didn't seem necessary to remember. Both of those were unnecessary in his own mind, yet he could remember them both in vivid detail. Whatever... Skye had to focus back on what he was doing at that very moment. And that happened to be finding Raijin and doing some training. Eventually making it to the bar, he scanned the clusters of people and finally saw Raijin. With a grin, he slid past a few of the patrons at the bar and took a seat next to Raijin. "Hey Raijin? How are you doing today?" His voice was a little on the loud side considering the noise level inside the bar.

Oh, there he was. Good boy; never made anyone wait forever. Or hadn't yet. Very nice change of pace from the normal lazy ass kids in the village. "Heya Skye. Sorry 'bout earlier. Kinn'a couldn' leave her outside with her spazzan' out like tha'." He shoved a couple of the empty food containers away, making room on the bar for the next round of steaming hot tea. This time he got the entire tea pot; and a second cup for Skye. If he wanted some, he was free too it; a peace offering, almost. Raijin didn't normally bother with niceties like that; but he did like the kid some; and that was enough to get him acting friendly. That, and the concussion fucking with him. Yep; concussions where lovely. "An' 'm alrigh' enough. Bit wonkier then normal; nothing worryan'."

From there; he just leaned back over the chair in a manner that sent a series of soft cracks and pops echoing under the general din of the bar patrons; taking it far enough for him grab the backs of his legs like he was folding himself in half. A soft sigh of contentment followed him unfolding back into a normal position and taking a quick sip of his tea. "I figured we coul' work on figuran' out how ya wanna take yer trainin'; yeah. Yer kinda tha' oddball in tha' squad; bu' tha's kinda a good thin'. Makes us work harder, yanno? Better fer an odd fit than juss slappan' a bunch a tha' same specialists together. Ya never learn tha' way 's my motto."

Skye took the cup that Raijin had set in front of him and nodded once as a thank you. He then picked the tea kettle up and poured a fair amount into the cup. He wasn't too thirsty at the moment, but he did love tea. A bit of steam rose up as the tea was partially emptied into the cup. With a small sip, he tested the temperature of the tea to see if it was good. It was a bit too hot for him, but a few blows to cool it off was just enough to make it better. Skye then took a larger sip as Raijin continued to talk to him. Though it didn't occur to him before, Raijin quickly reminded him that he was the odd one of his known team. True... He was the only one of his squad to be a Genjutsu user. Not that it bothered him much. Skye was still happy he was the odd one. His sensei even agreed that being the unique one wasn't too bad. Shaking his head some and putting his tea down, he looked back over at Raijin. "How about a quick fight? I have a technique I want to try out." Yet again, it was the best idea he had ready. It always seemed to be that way. Training something new, or even trying something out.

Quick? Quick would be the kid on the floor twitching from being electrocuted really. But that was if Raijin did something beyond block; or use his swords. And given Skye had proven himself powerful and capable enough for the rank of Chuunin; he had a shot of lasting long enough to actually let Raijin do something beyond stand there and look pretty. This should be fun, actually.

Alright; slam a last cup of the broiling hot tea for good measure; hack a bit; aaaaaaaand better.

"Sure; why not. With juss Brotherhood on meh; this'll last long enough fer us ta have some fun, yeah.~"

The elder slapped a few ryo on the bar and move to stand; bending backwards again to reset his spine with a contented purring noise. "Where to, sir? Lead on.~"

Skye took the last few sips of his tea and set the cup down on the counter. Training with Raijin would be pretty interesting. It would be the first time he would see Raijin in action. Well... action meaning a fight. The first thing action-wise he saw his sensei do was show off a bit. Skye remembered that Raijin made a lighting bolt come down from a group of clouds and channeled it through his sword. It was an incredibly amazing show of power, but that memory wasn't going to make him back down from fighting. Skye laughed a little seeing Raijin as he downed his last cup tea and slam some ryo on the counter. With that, he gave Skye the option of picking where to train. Thinking for a moment, he went down the list of the places they could train. "Uh... How about... The Battle Plateau?"

"Works for me; sure. Did most of tha' trainin' with my old squad there; so I know it works pretty well fer spars an' junk." Ah; nearly slicing a stuck up Akako's head off. Glorious memories. And his first time using Caladbolg; ever. Hnnn... not so great; given he was still waiting to see if he'd ever get his newest baby back. That sound... Caladbolg's scream as he sent the Genin away... it still haunted him; weeks later. Was it worth it? Of course; human life was greater then any blade. But he had been growing quiet fond of the newest addition to his little arsenal; and it would be a shame to have lost it so soon.

"Lead on, skippy. Yer turn ta shine and all that crap.~"
