The information you'll gain on top of the 'who and why' reveals the existence of a nefarious cancer spread throughout the land. Their subtle ways and meticulously followed up plans have allowed them to weave their strings of influence all over the underworld, leaving control in the hands of other as they extract all osrts of information. Specialising in (mis)information, boon trade and 'package deliveries', they are rarely named when others get apprehended. Four out of the five had been brought to the research facility. One of them had died along the road, the necrosis having affected him to the point his terror had forced him into an attempted escape. The Ryujin had dealt swiftly with him, disposing of his corpse in a way better left unasked. The four remaining would be strapped tightly to the operation tables, guards keeping watch at the doors to make sure they would not escape should the succeed at freeing themselves. Incertitude visible in their eyes, fear crawling underneath the skin, the four awaited the arrival of the Jugo they had tried to assault. And so she would appear. Stepping inside the secluded room where experiments were conducted and where Laïs had come to train the precision and focus on her medical chakra, the sound-proof walls made for an excellent unintended torture room just as much. Granted, the white walls that formed the room and the bleak lights which illuminated the various tools of a surgeon's trade added little to the true feeling of a torturing area but it had its own sort of dread. No one liked to visit the surgeon.

Laïs was annoyed though. She hadn't taken their assault kindly and was of a mind the first man would be irrevocably used for her to vent her anger. Not the sort of action Lamya would approve of, but her mistress wasn't here at this point in time. Amethyst eyes running across the four bodies, the Jugo would be picking out one of them as her butcher puppet, giving the impression she was being selective while she actually could care less who it was. Ultimately taking the one to the right, one hand would grow into a sharpened claw as her own blood molded her flesh and wordlessly dug it with brutal force into the man's chest. Helplessly, he'd cough up blood and scream in pain. The others would end up confused at the unnecessary violence, shocked and almost instantly ready to spill the beans, but the Jugo would have none of it. Allowing Yin-chakra to spill out freely, blackening veins would precede the infectious terror before the necrosis slowly ate away the man from the inside out. His shrieks were terrifying, urging anyone with a bit of compassion in their heart to end his misery. Even when his system would have shut down in any normal meaning, Laïs undead embrace refused to let him go. The man would turn into a desecration of life itself, an undead abomination tormented by his creator who, up till now, could not properly control the ability unless she excessively poured her chakra into the dead man.

Eventually she would let him go. Half his body, now a corpse, eaten away by Yin-chakra and turned into black ash. The exhaustion that washed over her from excessive chakra use calming the Jugo sufficiently to feel her anger dissipate. The three remaining men gaped at her in shock, unable to speak after having seen the brutality she had displayed.

"Much better. Believe me when I say I was not playing with him. Your suffering will last far longer, the remainder of your lives an eternal nightmare while I experiment on you. So I suggest you speak up and tell me who send you to kill me if you want my mercy, for I can assure you my mistress will not grant it once she hears the news of your intrusion in her domain."
"T-the Seven Sins! They send us. Please don't kill us."
"You're joking, right?"
"No, I swear! They're an underworld gang of information dealers."
"With that sort of dumb name? I have hard to believe it"
"It's true! Some say they are demons of disguise in the way they escape all apprehension, but I'm not lying! Pleease!"

Her amethyst eyes would bore themselves into his. The maddening terror left little doubt about his truth, the man having wet his pants and table just by the idea of being next in line on the dread wagon. Even then, Laïs wished she could pass the need for interrogations by straight away by looking into his soul and mind, draining the information she needed from his memories. It would be so much easier than to go through the whole ordeal of torture, intimidation and other such games.

"I guess you wouldn't be lying. Be assured I'll find them myself.", she'd reply, hand resting on her hip, shifting her weight to one leg as she contemplated what to do with him. She had what she needed, now it was a matter of sending him back home and track him to get a clue of where to start. She'd move over to the table of the man who had spoken, seeing him close his eyes to embrace the worst. Instead, she clicked open his bindings. "You've done well, so you're free to go. Make sure you never come back here again."

He was surprised, couldn't believe it. But as Laïs urged him on, he grabbed whatever he had left of his courage and scampered away. The guards would let him outside, guided by Laïs, and see him run off into the distance.

"Track him. I want to know where the underground mafia is hiding. I'm sure Lamya will adore the idea of tearing their influence apart."
"Yes, ma'am."

At her expectations, one of them would flicker away to pursue the released bird. Laïs, on the other hand, returned inside. She had iryojutsu to practise like her mistress had suggested she should do.
