Zeref looked back at his grandfather who was standing under the old wooden entrance to the dojo and temple ground, with a small wave goodbye Zeref turned his back and headed down the cracked stoned steps into the forest. Although he never ventured any father then the small villages a few miles from the dojo, he knew that if he were to become stronger, and revive the dojo he had to leave, he had to travel to the bigger villages, and make a name for himself.

The sun was just rising its rays peeking through the lush green leaves of the trees, warming the exposed skin of Zeref, the birds of the forest filling the air with their morning melodies giving Zeref a soothing feeling. Zeref had now been walking for roughly an hour, and he knew Konohagakure no Sato (the Hidden Leaf Village) was still half days hike from where he was, but it was the closest major village and the most logical starting point for his quest.

Zeref had a plan, or he had parts to a plan, he knew what he wanted, and he had a few ideas how to obtain his goals. First; He would go to Konohagaure and take on what ever missions and quests he could, while on these missions he will use the sword style of his dojo, Battōjutsu (drawing blade technique). With enough missions completed he was hoping he would catch the eyes of people in the village, and begin to spread the word of grandfathers dojo, and at the same time while he made a name for himself, and his grandfathers teachings, he would also spread the name of his clan. After he made enough noise in Konohagaure he would travel to the next closest village, and continue to hop from village to village.

Zeref smirked and chuckled at himself as he replayed the fantasy of people from every village whispering of Battōjutsu  and his clan. Zeref was so caught up in his dream, that he ended up tripping on a tree root, and tumbled down a hill towards a small creek. "Shit, shit, shit, shit" With a finally tumble, and a splash Zeref landed in the cold waters of the shallow creek. his clothes now soaked, Zeref sat up right running his hand through his wet hair, slicking it back with a sigh.

Zeref stood up, the water depth only coming to about his mid calf, he walked to the bank. Climbing from the creek he took off his jacket hanging it on a near by tree branch, before laying down in the soft grass allowing the sun to begin drying him off.

Zeref had been laying in the soft grass for about an hour now, the bright sun over head bathing him in it's light, the babbling creek a few feet away drowning out the rest of the world. Zeref had one hand bent behind his head as a pillow, his other stretched out in the air holding his talisman. The talisman was shaped like a coin, no bigger then a half dollar with a hole in the center. Zeref eyed one side, the side with his clans symbol, he flipped it over and read the inscription in his head. "In every man there is a beast that stirs when a sword is place in his hand" Zeref thought about the words, he used to think it was positive thing, but now he wondered if it was an ill omen, or perhaps both.

Zerefs thoughts were interrupted when he heard a branch snap in the treeline. Zeref quickly sat up drawing a kunia from his pouch and narrowed his eyes to the treeline. A few seconds passed, the bushes rustled, another second, Zerefs heart beating in his chest. From behind the bush a fawn crept out, looked at Zeref before turning and walking back into the forest. Zeref sighed, and shock his head over getting worked up over a baby dear, he slide the Kunia away and retrieved his jacket from the branch, putting it on before heading back through towards the Leaf Village.

When Zeref left the dojo it was just before five am, where light was just starting to spread over the land, it was now about thirteen hundred the sun at its highest point. Zeref was grateful for the warm weather, after he had fallen into the creek he thought he would catch a cold, but with his clothing now dry he shouldn't need to worry. Zeref thought bout how long he had been gone, roughly eight hours, take away the hour he spent drying off he had been on the move for about seven. Zeref had never been to the Leaf Village, but he knew where it was, and how long it would take him. According to his math, and if he was where he thought he was, he should get to the village in the next five hours, as long as he avoids anymore creeks.

Zeref wasn't sure what he was feeling, he had never been in the Leaf Village. He had never been to a village with more then two hundred people, he felt, nervous, excited, anxious, thrilled, it was hard for him to pin down a single emotion. Although Zeref loved his grandfather, and he liked living at the dojo,  he didn't have a chance to have a normal child hood, and he never made many friends. Now he was about to go to a village that had hundreds of people, and dozens of kids his age. Zeref couldn't help but think maybe if his grandfather took him to the Leaf Village more often he could of made friend, then he wouldn't be going into his personal quest so blind and without a foothold. Zeref shook the thoughts from his head, his grandfather did what he felt was best, he raised Zeref all by himself without help from anyone.

A growl erupted from Zerefs stomach causing him to sigh and place his hand over his gut. " Damn, guess I should of packed more food." Zeref sighed and brought out his canteen taking a sip from it before replacing it into his bag. With his stomach growling in protest of wanting food, Zeref jumped into a tree to see if he could spot some wild life he could hunt. Zeref crouched on the thick tree branch, one hand on the trunk the other taking out his three shuriken to use as his hunting weapons. Zeref scanned the floor of the forest, he was hoping for a rabbit, or even a snake, but what he got was much better. From behind a tree Zeref noticed a light brown end of an animal, even from the tree branch Zeref could tell the fur was rough, and from his time living off the land he knew it was a boar. Zeref smirked and leapt from his position to an adjust tree that had a better view of the boar he was now hunting. From his new perch Zeref could tell the boar was still young, maybe around a year old, but big enough to give him plenty of meat to eat and stop his stomach from growling 

Zeref held the three shuriken in his right hand,, one between each of his fingers, standing up on the branch, he slowed his breathing down, if he missed hitting it, the boar would run. Zeref waited another moment just as the boar turned its body so its side faced Zeref, now was his chance. Zeref drew his arm back and then forward releasing the shuriken. One stuck into the boars hip, the second just missed sticking into a near by tree, but the third was the kill shot. The third drove itself into the neck of the boar causing it to buckle and fall to it's side, Zeref not missing a beat, jumped down from the tree branch bring out his Kunia and landed driving the kunia deep into the boars neck to make sure it was dead and not suffering. 

Zeref retrieved all three of his shuriken returning them to his pouch, using his kunia he started to carve into the boar. The boar weighed about five pounds, Zeref knew what he didn't eat scavengers would come and pick off the rest. Zeref had just finished sliding off the back leg of the boar when he heard a noise behind him. Looking back Zeref jumped to his feet turning around to face what made the noise. Standing in front of him now was a much larger boar, with tusks the size of his kunia. Large boars were nothing to joke about, they can use their tusks to gore someone to death if they got the chance. Taking out a small one by surprise was one thing, taking on a fully grown one head on was another, Zeref knew when to cut his losses. Without giving his new boar friend the chase Zeref  snatched up the leg from his kill, spun on his heels and took off through the forest. Zeref was weaving around trees, leaping over rocks and dead trees, he could hear the boar huffing and running behind him, and gaining on him. Zeref eyed the trees above him, the branches were to high for him to jump to, so he had to keep running or face the boar. After three minutes of dead sprinting Zeref saw his chance, a tree had fallen over and was leaning against another. Using the downed tree as a ramp Zeref ran up it, jumped, landed on a branch of a living tree and left the angry boar on the ground of the forest, and the best news, he still had the leg.

Using the tree branches of the forest, Zeref jumped from one to another, not wanting to risk another run in with an angry boar. Once he felt it was safe, he stopped before  stepping off the tree branch landing on the forest ground below with a soft crunch sound. It was time to cook his prize he won from the small boar that he had killed. Gathering some near by rocks, sticks and dried leaves Zeref constructed a small circle with the rocks, and sticks and leaves in the middle. Zeref grabbed another larger stick and tired the leg to it, and stuck the other end into the ground at an angle so it would be over the fire.  With two sticks in hand, Zeref started to rub them together, the frication from the rubbing causing a small flame to be produced and ignited the dried leaves. Zeref watched the meat slowly start cooking, rotating it now and then to get as much of an even cook as possible, as well as to burn away any thing that may get him sick. 

Twenty minutes later Zeref  removed the leg from the fire and peeled away the outer layer of skin and fur that wasn't burnt away. Sinking his teeth into the boar leg, he ripped off a chunk. "A bit dry, but not to shabby." Zerfer polished off the entire boar leg in roughly fifteen minutes. Now with a full stomach, and rested from his race with the angry boar, it was time to finish his hike through the forest and make it to the hidden leaf village. Using near by dirt Zeref snuffed out the fire he made, and then stomped on it to make extra sure the embers were all out and wouldn't cause a forest fire. Feeling safe he did a good enough job of getting rid of any left over embers, Zeref headed back towards the direction of the hidden leaf village, he still had a few hours worth of hiking ahead of him, but he also had plenty of day light as well so he wasn't worried about getting stuck in the forest at night.

Hizomi had just woken up to the sound of birds chirping and the smell of breakfast tickling her nose as she made a grumbling sound as the sunlight sneaked it's way in from the windows of her room, she then   shot the upper half of her body straight up as she realized it was graduation day at the academy and her two years of schooling will finally end as she will finally become a proud shinobi of Konaha ''The village hidden in the leaves''. She quickly pulled the bed sheets off of her body as she rushed to bath herself in the tiny but lovely home that she and her mother have stayed in since the execution of her father in the branch house's estate, once her bathing was done she ran right past the kitchen grabbing a piece of toast as her mother says ''good luck Hizomi'' in which she answers back loudly and proudly ''Thanks mom ill make you real proud one day!!'' and she opens the door leading outside as she smells the fresh air and hears the buzz of the village people going about their daily lives in peace as she closes the door and heads straight towards the academy to end her childhood days and start life as a proud shinobi.

Hizomi arrives at the academy within thirty minutes due to her home being a bit of a distance from the academy but she quickly rushed to the line of students standing up on the stage who had passed their practical and written examination to qualify as genin as she looks down at the crowd that is steadily increasing in numbers, feeling her excitement boil over Hizomi started to lowly giggle to herself in happiness to be quickly silenced as the graduation process was about to start. As the crowd quickly silences a man waving a fan in his face with a jacket on slowly makes his appearance known as he makes himself the center of attention, Hizomi quickly realizes that this is no ordinary man as she looks at the jacket that reads the words ''Hokage'' on it making her stand straight up in nervousness as she thinks to herself ''Hokage? as in...THE HOKAGE?! oh gosh!! i didnt think i meet him so soon...!!''.

The man in which Hizomi identifies as the hokage starts speaking ''Welcome everyone to the site of this special day..the graduation of the newest additions of shinobi!!'' the crowd cheers in excitement before the man waves his hand for them to silence after giving them a few seconds to show their enthusiasm, ''As the hokage..i have many responsibilities under my belt, but out of that list of responsibilities..ranking up ninja academy students to official genin will always be my favorite responsibility! Let the official graduation begin!!!'' The man slowly makes his way off stage returning to his daily duties as two shinobi make their way on the stage with one holding a box filled with ninja headbands as they distribute them to the newly appointed genins in their village as they congratulate them on their new beginnings, when they finish the crowd once again cheers in excitement as the graduation comes to a close and everyone with their families slowly returns to their homes.

Hizomi holds her ninja headband in her arms as she closes her eyes and feels the weight of it and smiles as she slowly and carefully ties it around her waist just above her skirt as she thinks to herself ''Can you see me papa? i finally became a shinobi..please continue to watch over me and mother as time goes on.'', Hizomi makes her way to the village gate's as she plans to  explore the wilderness right outside the safety of the village. Within twelve minutes she makes it to the gate and slowly exits it as she starts to run before jumping up into a tree and travels from tree to tree yelling in excitement ''YAHOO!!! I REALLY DID IT!! I BECAME A SHINOBI!!!"

Looking at the sky Zeref could tell by where the sun was that it was roughly eighteen hundred, he had been walking for fourteen hours now, including the stops, and detours he had to take. Smiling to himself he knew it would not be much longer till he reached the village, once there he knew he had to find a place to stay, as well as go shopping for items. His grandfather gave Zeref over a 1000 ryo, Zeref did not want to take it, but his grandfather was stubborn, and would not allow him to leave empty handed. Zeref smiled at the thought of an elderly man having the same amount of fire and stubbornness as a young child or teen. Zeref was torn from the thoughts of his home and grandfather when he heard yelling echoing. Stopping where he was he listened, was did not catch the first part but he heard the tail end of a voice yelling something about a shinobi. 

Hearing the voice meant that he should be getting close to the Hidden Leaf Village, what Zeref did not know was if the voice was friend or foe. At first Zeref was going to ignore the voice, but a thought accord to him, maybe it was a cry for help, there were rouge nin, and bandits in every nation. Cursing under his breath Zeref jumped into the tree tops and started toward the direction of the voice. It didn't take long till Zeref noticed signs of someone else, scuff marks on tree branches, snapped twigs from when they jumped. Zeref closed his eyes tuning out the sounds of the wild, he could hear the faintest of thumps, followed by rustling then another thump, the sound of someone jumping from branch to branch. Zeref opened his eyes and took off once more. 

After a few more minutes Zeref was able to make out a figure leaping from branch to branch, he sped up a little more and started to make out features. First, clearly she was a female, brown hair, blue to and a matching skirt, what caught his eye the most was the gleam of a headband hanging form her hip. Unable to see the symbol but it was logical to assume it was a Hidden Leaf headband. Zeref smiled, now he knew he was close to the village, although with following the voice he now knew belonged to the girl, he was heading in the wrong direction. Eager to make friends in the first village on his tour, Zeref put two fingers in his mouth and let out a high pitch loud whistle hoping he would get the girls attention.

Hizomi was jumping from tree to tree happily paying no mind to her surroundings as she was exploring the world outside of the village for herself, she came to a stop on a tree as she saw the sunlight creep through the tree's as she thought to herself ''I need to become much much stronger to protect my family, friends and fellow Shinobi!''. Suddenly Hizomi heard a whistle and immediately jumped to the ground in surprise as she got into a basic taijutsu stance they teach in the academy as she yelled ''Who's their?! show yourself!!!''

Zeref noticed the girl had stopped and jumped from the tree tops getting in a fighting position, as well as calling out for him to show himself. The idea brought a chuckle from his throat as he landed on a limb of a tree about ten feet from her spot. "You know, if I wanted to attack you, do you really think I would whistle and get your attention first?" Zeref stepped back off the branch and landed in a half crouch, as he stood he crossed his arms over his chest, putting his head to the side slightly. Now that he was close he could see her hair was red not brown, he could also see that her eyes were pure white, and the head band around her hip was indeed from the leaf village. Zerefs head no longer bent slightly, "You are a Hyūga arnt you?" The question was kind of pointless, there were not many people who had pure white eyes and no pupils besides those from the Hyūga clan. "And by that headband, you are from the leaf village? Does that mean it's close?" Zeref caught himself before he asked another question and remembered he had some manors. "I'm Zeref, Zeref Takamaru of the Kuinshi clan.

After Hizomi warned the mysterious whistler to come out a man suddenly appeared ten feet away from her and said ''You know, if I wanted to attack you, do you really think I would whistle and get your attention first?" this made Hizomi fluster at being idiotic as she reinforces the fact in her mind that she is in fact outside the safety of the village if she's not careful she could be killed out here at her current power. Hizomi than begins to observe the man and notices his black hair that goes almost to his shoulders and his dark blue jacket and black sleeves and she realizes that he is probably observing  her too but then suddenly asks a pair of questions  "You are a Hyūga arnt you?" "And by that headband, you are from the leaf village? Does that mean it's close?"  and then he introduces himself and Hizomi then finally begins to answer him with some level of caution ''Yes i am part of the Hyuga clan, my name is Hizomi Hyuga, as for where you are you are about ten-fifteen minute travel away from the village of konaha i can take you there, no please let me take you there!!? to be honest i just graduated from the village academy. Im really weak and i want to train hard so i can be strong enough to protect my village as the strongest shinobi, you seem like a good fight so how about?"

Jamie had been sleeping in a bit late as Shippo and Tsume had gone out somewhere on a mission or was busy doing chores. Ashi who had tried to get him to call her mom came to his bed side and ruffled his hair a bit as he turned to face his back to her and whispered in a mumbled tone. "fife mo minutes" as the words came out a bit muffled as she sighed. "Okay Jamie, but you really need to go outside it's a beautiful day. Remember to eat breakfast before going out i have a mission to take care of today."

She left as he smiled while blushing deep inside he knew he loved being spoiled like this. A part of him did not really understand family yet, but the feeling seemed good to him. The birds were starting to chirp and chirp as the noise began to make his ears hurt. He through his pillow at the window scaring the birds away as he sat up in his bed with a grumpy look on his face and some really static bed hair. The sunlight was beautiful as the rays like a beam of gentle light with the particles of dust floating in the air like stars in the night sky.

He blinked a few times as he tried to adjust to the waking up as he rubbed his groggy eyes slightly to remove the waters that plagued them from his sleep. He got up and got dressed putting on a small paw print t-shirt and a basic shorts for comfort as he made his way to the kitchen area. He noticed his food was there and began to careful take a bite of breakfast one nibble at a time as he savored the flavor of the pancakes and syrup.

Going out for a stroll he decided to wander off into the wonderful wonder of the wilderness as he went around he noticed what seemed like smoke and approached the area slowly and carefully. The smoke had died down as he wondered who had been eating here as he made his way further along he heard a whistle and went into hiding while heading towards the noise due to his curiosity. As he peeked passed the tree he saw a girl who was definitely a Konoha Nin from the Hyuuga clan and some weird black hair stranger as she seemed to be in a combat stance.

The stranger wanted to find the village and the girl wanted to fight. He did not want things to get bad so he decided to get his short sword ready as he brought it along with him just in case. A noisy stranger and a weird new genin who was putting herself in danger. He also did not want to run off since he had no idea how strong the stranger was, only that the girl might be on his level even though he had been training and was already near to the strength of a chuunin. He was mainly lacking confidence, but his combination techniques were what made him really dangerous as he prepared to dash at any moment if things looked dangerous.

Zeref chuckled a bit to himself at how spunky the girl was, and how she seemed to ramble a bit like him. "If you want to lead me the way, then that's fine." Zeref thought about her last request for a spar, she was a Hyuga meaning she was trained in tiajutsu, and most likely ninjutsu since she was after all a leaf village genin. Zeref weighed his options but then shrugged. "Sure, we can spar, and then we can head to the village." In Zerefs mind it was a win win, if he won the match then he could say he bested someone in a major clan, and if he lost well he could play it off as well. "But I do believe we have some company." Zeref uncrossed his arms while he tilted his head a bit to the side and backwards looking toward the direct of Jamie "You can come out, I know you are there." Zeref turned slightly to the side so he could keep an eye on the girl, as well as an eye on the area the boy was.

Hizomi's desperate and enthusiastic plea for a fight to help better herself to the stranger known as Zeref looking for the village was not unheard as he agreed to fight her in exchange for taking him to the village, but then he tilted his head backwards as it leans towards the side as he says ''they have some company'' he then trys to call out the mysterious figure that Hizomi had missed in her eagerness making her feel a little worried for her future as a shinobi. It took her a few seconds but she locked on to the other stranger's presence as well and switched her fighting stance towards that person ready for a fight.

Jamie sighed deep down inside having a heavy heart as he made his way slightly stepping to the side of the tree. He did not want to fight, but he did not want to be in danger either so he showed himself while keeping his one hand still on his blade as he blinked a few times. "hi" as he yawned for a bit seeming to be rather lethargic and lacking energy at the time.

He revealed himself as he simply kept up his guard uncertain of what was actually going on, he felt he needed to train his stealth to be better suited for missions. He decided to reveal himself simply so he would not get accidentally attacked out of fear as his hair blew in the wind.

Zeref moved his eyes to look at Hizomi who got into a fighting stance, while he just slipped his hands into his pockets in a lazy fashion. "Ya know Hizomi, not everyone is out to get you." Zeref looked over at the kid who was once hiding behind a tree, the kid giving a simple 'hi'. Zeref smirked a bit, the kid could not be any older then thirteen, and only stood about four feet. "Sorry about Hizomi" He eyed her again before bring his eyes back to Jamie. "She's a bit jumpy." Zeref eyed Jamies hand on his weapon. "Although, you don't seem much better either." Zeref shrugged keeping his hands in his pockets. "But who am I to judge, maybe all leaf shinobi are jumpy around new people." Zeref took a step back and leaned back against the tree. "I'm going to assume you were behind that tree long enough to hear our names, so what's yours? Or should I just call you Kid?"

The mysterious figure Zeref sensed stepped out of the shadows of the tree’s and to Hizomi’s surprise it was someone around the same age as her and a shinobi of the hidden leaf, on closer inspection Hizomi noticed how he was shorter than she was but kept one hand on his blade being almost as suspicious of Hizomi as she was to him and relaxed a bit before Zeref said ‘’Hizomi not everyone is out to get you.’’ As he apologized to the young boy as he said Hizomi was jumpy and he was right she was jumpy, she had never been outside the village before and this was her first time and she decided she needed to relax.  Hizomi relaxed her body allowing her to think calmly as she stood straight up and not in a fighting stance before speaking ‘’I’m sorry about my behavior as my friend said I am a bit jumpy, please forgive me! My name is Hizomi Hyuga, although you probably already knew that if you were watching us’’

"I am just Jamie" as he looked down to the side. "you two must be careful not to hurt yourselves" as he started to fidget with his feet a bit before letting go of his sword since he did not really master using his weapon enough for it to be more important then the few jutsu he mastered. Feeling that he should not really intervene unless he has to he decided to just tell them to be careful since he was not too sure how strong the stranger was, but since she seemed so careless she was either really strong or really weak as he had a slightly curious look at the Hyuga known as Hizomi. He had met another of her clan members before and if this guy knew she was from that clan that meant he must be really smart since they did not just show them off to outsiders too much or let it get blurted out that they have special eyes.

Jamie then looked up and then leaned his back against the tree and put his hands behind his head and decided to just watch them.

The man's form moved quickly through the tree line, chasing down his quarry. He was out in the wilderness hunting a buck with a twelve point horns displayed proudly upon the head of the beast.  The man's body moved with precision and quickness, his eyes scanning over the branches of trees as he leapt from one to another. He was moving too slowly for him to catch up to his prey and was having a rough time of it. With a sigh he tried to push himself forward faster, drawing the two short swords from his back to be held behind him as he jumped. His foot kicked off the last branch and he barreled forward at his top speed to bring his swords in full swing towards the neck of the beast. At the last moment it jumped away and ran off into the under brush with the shinobi landing where it stood to sigh and watch longingly after it. He'd lost his prey and would not eat tonight, but why had the beast stopped in this clearing knowing someone was chasing it?

His hazel eyes moved to look around him quietly, noticing three figures who seemed to either be ready to battle each other, or old friends. He didn't care which. The man was dressed in black tights, a black shinobi netted shirt, and a black retro shinobi gi. His feet had black tabi and black sandals upon them while his lower half of his face was covered with a violet mask, which complimented the same coloured violet hair upon his head marvelously. He watched the three quietly, his swords held in a defensive position in front of him. One sword, the longer, held outward while the shorter sword was held in a reverse grip across his chest. He glared quietly for a moment, assessing the situation. There was a young child with them, couldn't be much out of his toddler years, a girl of the age one would just be leaving the ninja academy, and a boy barely older than the girl. None of them seemed to be an immediate threat so far and as such, the man quietly stood straight, slowly sheathing the swords he held into the back of his belt where the sheathes lie.

"Evening."

Zeref nodded. "Nice to meet ya Jamie." Zeref looked back at Hizomi as he stepped away from the tree. "Guess you get that spar." Zeref knew she was going to use taijutsu, something he wasn't trained in, and he didn't have a sword so he couldn't use his kenjutsu. After a second of thinking Zeref looked back at Jamie. "Mind if I use your sword and sheath? I'm trained in kenjutsu and I have no sword." Zeref sighed a bit and closed his eyes putting his hands in the air slightly. "Another one huh." Zeref opened his eyes just as the new man jumped from the trees and landed in the small clearing. 'Evening' was all the man said, causing Zeref to smirk. "Yo. Nice entrance." Zeref pointed at Jamie. "jamie." Then to the girl. "Hizomi." And finally to himself. "And I'm Zeref. Me and her were about to spar." Zeref dropped his hand and looked back to Jamie. "So bout that sword."

Hizomi listened to the conversation and sounds around her she heard slight rusting of the tree's not to far away but payed no mind too it as she thought about her incoming spar with Zeref, he then asked if he could use the sword and sheath of the boy known as Jamie and Hizomi thought about how she has never fought against a sword user and with taijutsu she was at a disadvantage but then she deducts from him asking the little boy that he wasn't prepared to fight her either. Suddenly as new person appears but he appears more sturdy and Hizomi thinks ''Is he a chunin?! how many more people will gather here...''

The new person was armed and he would not have even noticed if the man did not greet them as he kept his guard up and looked at the man getting ready to fight, though when the man sheathed his weapons Jamie calmed down a bit, then remembered something about a sword request as he thought about it for a moment. "Sorry, you need to get your own" as he apologized to Zeref since giving his main weapon away was a bit too careless and dangerous given that a second stranger arrived.

He also lowered his battle stance but kept up his guard as he made sure to keep closer eyes on the two strangers for a bit. "Maybe that guy will lend you his sword" as he made that notion in order to perhaps disarm at least one of the stranger's weapons and allow for those two to spar. He also felt he had to prepare to run away with Hizomi since they both from the village.

Anon silently watched the three, sizing them up. The only one who had a weapon was the small child but it didn't seem like he would be able to use it well in a one on one confrontation. He'd neglected to let the other boy use his weapon, citing Anon as one who may allow the use of a blade for a bout. With a shake of his head, the shinobi spoke. "I'm afraid it's not exactly possible to use my swords, Zeref. Unless you practice swordsmanship, not Kenjutsu, you won't really be able to use them effectively. I practice a western-style of sword play and use both swords in conjunction with each other to do that. Were I able, I'd teach you to use them for your bout, but currently that's not possible as I haven't advanced enough in their use to do so.  I'd recommend allowing the other two to spar while you watch and formulate strategies, but that's just me." With a shrug, the man walked over to a tree and leaned his shoulder against it, his hazel eyes watching the spectacle unfold. He wasn't going to take part in anything, not yet at least.

Zeref sighed and put his hands in the air. "You win some you lose some" He smirked slightly and looked at the girl before him. "Well, I guess this will be, interesting to say the least then huh?" Zeref moved away from the tree and across the clearing to stand roughly five meters away from Hizomi. He was at a handicap to say the least, he used swords, it would be different if Zeref new ninjutsu or genjutsu even, but all he had was Ken, and senjutsu. Zeref rolled his shoulders before cracking his knuckles forming a plan in his mind. Zeref liked to think off himself as smart, and cunning he may be lacking a sword, but he had a few tricks up his sleeves, or so he hopped. Zeref lowered his stance and narrowed his eyes in on the girl. "Ready?"

After the strange chunin identified himself and everyone became calmer since he wasnt a enemy Zeref went back to asking the little boy for his blade, but he rejected and then he asked the chunin which also rejected his request. At the disappointment Zeref sighed before giving up and saying ''Well, I guess this will be, interesting to say the least then huh?" and then he moved five meters from Hizomi's current position and said ''Ready?"

Hizomi yelled out ''one second!'' and she begun to move another five meters back where a loose stump of wood nearly as big as Hizomi's chest was placed three meters back and as she walked back she brushed her hand along the stump infusing her chakra  into it, she was now ten meter's away from Zeref before saying with a more serious face as she activates her Byakugan with a more focused attitude  ''Here i come Zeref-kun!''. Hizomi now dashed towards Zeref and as she got close enough she attempted to hit him with a low reverse roundhouse kick.

Zeref smirked as she started to charge at him, she was tiajutsu, she wanted to get as close as possible to him so she could use what she knows best, he had no intentions of allowing that to happen. As she approached Zeref shrugged off his jacket tossing it at her while jumping back jumping backward slightly in the air, dodging her swing of a round house kick. As he was in the air he reached into his pouch and pulled out and throwing a shuriken using his jacket as a sort of smoke screen hoping it would block her view of the shuriken being thrown at her. The shuriken, if it hit her would cause a 3/4th inch cut. As zeref landed on the ground he slid back a few feet putting distance between the two. Looking over his shoulder he noticed he was back against a tree, bring his attention back to the fight, slowly forming a bigger plan in his head.

Jamie decided to just observe while most of his guard was focused on the stranger whose strength he knew nothing about. At the current exchange they looked to be around his level in terms of skill, however they both seemed a bit slow like genin fresh out of the academy as he focused on them a bit as he had his bell in his hand ready for action if needed.

She seemed to be preparing a rather obvious replacement behind her as he kept focus she activated her magical eyes, the byakugan was really getting exposed a lot for a secret technique. However as long as he did not fully understand what it did, seeing them would not help anyone at all at this point. Zeref seemed to keep things simple by jumping back and throwing a shuriken as he wondered if he could take them both on. However he felt that he might be looking for trouble and that one on one was more fair as he kept an eye on both of them, the man did not seem to budge at all or was just waiting patiently as he was not sure what this stranger wanted other than to be a weird observer of the battle unfolding before their very eyes.

Jamie kept himself ready for anything as the battle continued.
