. . . Kumogakure no Sato, how long had it been since he stepped foot within this village? How long had it been since his master of old left him here on the outskirts, telling him to fend for himself? Namida did not know the answer to any of these questions which seem to want to haunt his mind like a ghost. Though he could guess it has been some time as he walked down the alley which he was left at. The buildings of memories were no longer there, being replaced by better-looking ones, though the seediness of the area was very much the same. As he continued down memory lane, he walked passed some faces of familiarity who seem to recognize him but said nothing. Not like he had anything to say to them either, acquaintances and friends of old, he had left that lifestyle long ago. He no longer dabbled in the sins of youth, having found something more valuable than any drug or fix could give him.

Thinking about that which was valuable to him brought a smile to his face. One that seemed to warm his body against the chilly morning winds of Kumogakure. Making it through the streets, Namida hasten to his destination. He had to deliver something to the son of his master's former apprentice. While his master has long since died, it was not before he found out his apprentice had a son by some ruler of a far away land. And before he had died, he asked Namida to track down this child and pass over a pair of blades; the same blades his master gave to him in the beginning, and the ones he had used in the start of his journey into a man.

Standing a front of the building, he unsealed two blades, a katana, and Wakizashi. Suraisā and Daisā blades which have passed down in his master's family line to him, and family Namida, who, while not family was his master's only 'son'. "And now, it seems like the blades will depart once more. Maybe this one will treat you better than I did.", Namida spoke softly to the blades. Shaking the thoughts away, he placed them against the door with a note attached, explaining some things. With that done, Namida knocked on the door before walking way.

Hazumei, looked up from a book she was reading at the sound of the doorbell ringing. With a quick application of chakra, she spied who was the individual that rung the doorbell. The chakra signature of the individual was not anyone who she was intimately familiar with, but whoever they were, they similarly left after leaving something at the door. Blinking in confusion, the mother of one walked over to the door with some caution, opening it slowly, and eyes widening in surprise before softening at the pair of objects leaning neatly against the door. A pair of swords. Not just any swords, but a very familiar set that at one point in time belonged to her before being passed on to another. Never would she had thought she would see these swords again, but it seemed life worked in mysterious waves.

Grabbing the swords, she noticed there was a note attached and began reading it. Silent tears fell as she continuing reading the note that explained her old master's last wish - something that was now being fulfilled. Before she became the wife of a ruler, Hazumei was the apprentice of wandering swordsmen whose home had long since been forgotten by the annals of time. The relationship between the two was master and apprentice, mentor and student, grandfather and granddaughter. The man taught her everything she knew, and still practice today, before departing, having taught her what she could. She hadn't seen the man in a long time but did hear about his death which was sad. While she could not attend the funeral, she held a moment of silence for him on the day.

Never did she thought her former master would request his last student to deliver a pair of swords to her and ask her to pass them on to her son. She thought they would remain in the possession of the last student. "Old man, you want your legacy to continue, don't you?", she whispered to no one, unsheathing the swords and looking over their condition. They will need to be polished and fixed up a bit, but nothing too serious. Walking back into the house, she got busy with the task, finishing it before Kannon got home, explaining him the importance of blades and handing them over.
