Daremo

S-rank
Yellow reptilian eyes watched as the young woman wrote a note, to whom they did not know, placing it on the counter along with the coin, the latter assumed for rent, before exiting the house, not even bothering to lock up.The being waited a few moments, making sure the owner of the house did not come back for anything, before slinking out of one of the natural shadows provided within the corners. Though the lights were shut off, the natural ones from the sun were enough to illuminate person. . . or rather animal that had been lurking.

A little over four meters in length and with dusty black skin, allowing it to blend in well with the shadows, the Komodo dragon was an impressive specimen. A purplish forked tongue licked in and out, tasting the air for the scent of any others who might have dared to enter the home doing its lapses of attention; none was found. It’s head bobbed up and down, mimicking the gesture of a human, drool dripping on the hardwood floor, sizzling and causing a small hole to appear. The beast paid that little mind. Instead, its eyes lingered on the closed door, before looking elsewhere.

Though, for the observant people, there was flickers of warmth and concern in the beast’s eyes, instead of the coldness one might have expected. Why would such human emotion be seen within a beast? They couldn’t feel anything, right? Ah, that is what they want the feeble to believe, it is so much easier to go unnoticeable, not seen as a threat if the perceived perception is kept. Humans lower their guard when they believed they understand something, making them a much easier prey.

Dismissing those thoughts, the beast lumbered through the house, finding the bedroom with practical ease, nudging the unlocked door with its head. The creaking of the door sounded loudly within the silent house, yet the beast paid it little of mind - they had a task to complete. Moving through the room, it headed towards the male closet, pushing it open. Getting on its hind legs, claws meant for tearing into flesh were used to turn on a light switch. Looking around, taking the sight of the clothing which seemingly hasn't been touched by another, it lumbered in. Head lowered to the ground, forked tongue flickered in and out, a minuscule amount of chakra being applied to the floor with each time the organ touched it. After the fifth touch, a seal appeared, expelling out a rather large scroll.

Perfect. Sniffing the scroll, making sure it was indeed the original one and not the fake one, the Komodo grabbed it with its jaws. With what it came to get in its jaws, the beast slowly backed out. Now in the spacious area of which the bedroom provide, the beast dropped the scroll, watching as it unraveled. There on the scroll, it was a giant intricate seal that would boggled any a seal master’s mind. Raising up a single claw, a gash was made on its chest as it began walking over the seal; the beast’s black-ish blood flowing into the crevices of the seal. Soon the seal was covered in blood, and it was at that moment, the beast groan in pain as it went through a transformation. Blood splattered the walls as muscles and veins were torn apart. And like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, the Komodo’s back split open as a familiar being rose out of the gore. Stepping out of the rapidly decaying corpse, the naked, purple haired male, walked towards the bathroom. They needed to get clean.

Stepping out of the shower, the being looked into the mirror, yellow eyes staring back at a familiar face. Tenderly, he touched his face, taking time to become acquainted with it once more. Looking towards the left, when his hand grabbed his toothbrush, his eyes caught something in the trash can. Eyes widened slightly as he reached down and grabbed the object, staring out it a couple of times, making sure it was indeed real, and not a dream. Once proven so, he rushed out of the bathroom, putting on stereotypical shinobi attire, and sealing up the rest of his clothes. Making sure nothing of importance was left behind, the being left the house, not before burning the letter left for another. .that man had zero rights.

Leaving the village was not hard, there has been a decrease in promising shinobi since his time away. Once outside of the gates of Konoha, it did not take him long to find the tracks of the one who he was hunting. For days, he stalked the woman, staying at the same hotels as she did, breaking into the room she was staying it, watching her sleep, before disappearing once sunrise. .never letting her see him. It was not the time for the meeting yet.

Finally, the time would come upon reaching Suna. The man once again renting out a room right beside the other woman, making sure never to come out when she was about. And just like all the other nights, he appeared in her room, watching her sleep. However, unlike the nights before, where he disappeared before the woman awakes, this time he did not. Instead, he leaned against the bedroom door, counting down the seconds for her to wake up. Dressed in a purple kimono with golden intricate trim, he briefly wonders what would to come from this meeting. Because he had technically died. How will his wife react to him being alive?
