Kyzawa’s eyes opened to the stunning rays of the sun’s light. It was yet another warm day in this overpopulated village of the sand. Just yesterday, he had joined up with a half-completed team of him and another Gennin that he did not recall the name of. Originally, Kyzawa had not wanted to be in a team but some village officials who stated that joining a team would quicken the speed that it requires him to train persuaded him. Honestly, he had only agreed because he was annoyed at the constant bugging that the village officials had done to him. He did not need a team because he, himself, was stronger than any team combined. Kyzawa was special – he did not need the assistance of others to train. Anything he can do by himself is better done by himself than with anyone else. Other people, in his opinion, only got in the way.

With his potential for success, he was highly confident that through intensive training, he should be able to get by just fine. It should take little to no effort for him to reach the top of the structure of this village. Some day, he’ll even be able to match up against the Kazekage. Kyzawa grinned more evilly as he sat up from his usual spot of sleeping in between two buildings. He was homeless, parentless, and had no money but that would soon change. Soon, he would have the world at his hands and the process of getting there is only just a small barrier restricting his absolute abilities. Nothing in this world can stop him – he was sure of it. Digging around for a left over piece of bread to eat for breakfast, he soon tugged and pulled it out, revealing a small piece of crumb – all which remained of his diet. He was in a critical condition. No money and no food. He’ll have to start earning some eventually or else death might even await him. Despite that, he was not scared of it. He had faced death multiple times in the past and one more time would just be annoying. Kyzawa was way too mature of his age, especially if he thinks death is just another annoyance to him – another barrier that he can easily surpass.

Time to train, Kyzawa thought, jumping up and walking out to the village. He had the perfect place to train. He wanted to feel pain and the best place for that was just outside of the village where sand constantly flows back and forth. It was a sandstorm out there and no one with his or her rightful mind would willingly head out there at the present moment. Kyzawa, however, was eager to head into this sandstorm. If he was able to endure the power of nature’s worst force, he should be able to endure basically everything. Fear was not something that he experienced and sand… Sand was his passion, his life, and his brother. Kyzawa smiled, walking straight into the sandstorm as a few people watched before sitting down in a location covered by shadows and closing his eyes. It was inevitable that this exercise would be able to boost Kyzawa’s endurance. The pain that it gave him was near unbearable but he kept his mouth shut and his eyes closed for he knew that it was only for his own benefit that he was to feel this pain.

Hence, he would stay there for at least half of a day (skipping lunch). Finally, after a long morning of sandstorm, it calmed down and the sky was clear once again. Everything seemed so contradictory – the sky was clear just seconds after a sandstorm was occurring and the usually physically weak boy had endured the storm. It seemed impossible. But it was possible because sand, no matter how much it hurt, would not hurt Kyzawa. Sand was a source of power for him and there was no way that he could be hurt despite the fact that a kunai could probably kill him with a direct hit in the leg. He was an exceptionally weak child physically but he had the potential to become stronger and if he worked on his endurance, he would be unstoppable once he perfects the absolute defense that he could manipulate sand to become. It had been a very productive day – sitting in the sandstorm and taking blows to his body on purpose. Kyzawa’s eyes felt heavy and he collapsed as soon as he reached his resting place. Even the strongest will become tired sometimes.
