Sun Bulate

Sun Bulate

D-rank
Punishing and making an example of criminals was Sun's drive. Killing them was just a waste. There was many ways to make criminals useful and not just locking them up in a dark room forever. For example, one of the cruelest ways to deal with criminals would to be make them into scientific experiments. Trying to cure one of the deadliest diseases would use a volunteer. Same goes with many psychological experiments. A more harmless solution would be to give the criminals some work - cleaning the sewers or simply working in isolated farms. If people think hard enough, they could come up with beneficial ways to punish criminals.

Sun was just on her way to find 4 naughty boys who thought they can cheat Sunagakure. This was her first mission as chuunin and she was assigned to it as a test - to see if she truly qualified to be a chuunin of Suna. If she failed, then she would be disgrace both to Suna and to Bulate clan. Thus failure never was an option.
She wasn't sensory ninja and kind of missed Chiaki who would by now probably located the missing-nins. But due to being alone, Sun had to rely on some clues - broken branches on trees, campfires and simply footsteps. She wasn't trained in being a tracker, but this was the best experience on the field she could receive.
The easiest thing to not notice was the camps the boys rested at. One of them was smart, she was instructed about them all. Thus the actual campfire was distinguished and hidden with dirt and leaves. However there were visible packages of ramen and other sweets just thrown away a couple of feet further - probably the doing of those not that smart kids. And there also were eye witnesses who could help Sun out. "Yeah, those rude boys stole so meat from me!" said one farmer before pointing out the direction they ran away. "They said that we should get away from this corrupt country too!" said another woman and pointed to the direction of border. It was bad if they were close to border. If they got out, it could start a nation-wide political scandal, probably including neighboring countries too. If Sun wanted to avoid that, she should be quick to return back to Sunagakure holding the boys in a leash.

It was night and the border was getting closer. It wasn't hard seeing the red fire in the distance and the smoke that was eleveating above the trees. Sun slowed down in order to not be heard. She took slower steps and readied her kunai. She was told that the group has no sensory ninjas, but it didn't mean they hadn't set up traps. The girl had to look out for it.
When she was close enough to actually take a peek at the boys, she noticed only three. "I'm positive there were four," she thought to herself and listened to the boys talk a bit before rushing in. "Can't believe no one sent anyone after us!" one happily announced. "Yeah, we could even roam around for some more. Break havoc and get some more free stuff from the villagers," another one proposed. But the third one was more cautions, he didn't seem as cocky as the other two:"We should probably escape the country while we can. Even if they didn't prioritize us, they can still send ANBU after us if we do stick around,"
They were all wrong. They will do no more harm to the villagers. And they aren't getting ANBU sent after them. They have Sun on their tails.

Before rushing in and dealing with the nuisances, she made some precautions: she infused tree trunk with her chakra and made a flesh worm form an eye on her back - she didn't know where the fourth was after all. Then she rushed in. Sun didn't remember any names from the briefing, but she remembered the appearances and the abilities. The three surprised guys around the fireplace were the short one with white hair (the oil user), the oldest taijutsu user and the blonde greedy genjutsu user. Only the guy with swords were missing.
As Sun made her appearance, Chōhōkei was the first to react and threw a huge load of oil in campfire - to alert the fourth guy most likely. Kanpai stood back and only observed the situation, but Gomu was the first one to jump forward into the action. "Why are they sending a girl after us?" he said after noticing Sun's forehead protector. Sun didn't want to answer that and instead went to attack him - it was important to break the strongest one in sight of others. Sun used her free hand to insert some kyoni in his body and also gain a sample of his skin. The boy was confused at first for why Sun actually did not hurt him. And then he realized:"Fuck, it's a Bulate!" Gomu screamed in agonizing pain and got down on the ground and started rolling.
Sun used the DNA sample to create a Gomu clone. She knew that it would break their will if they had to fight someone like Gomu for Gomu could crush their skulls with his mighty taijutsu. And that's what the clone did - it rushed forward and targetted Kanpai for Sun knew that Chōhōkei would be too much of a wimp to attempt burn the clone down if there was a risk of hurting Kanpai too.
At this very moment, Sun noticed a flash of metal behind her. The third eye sure came in handy. It was Dani, no doubt. Lucky for Sun, he was standing close to the tree trunk that was infused with her own chakra. It was a perfect timing to do a substitution and confront him. As Sun disappeared from the boy's sight, Dani was stabbed in his thigh with a kunai. "Stay down," Sun whispered in his ear as she took his sword away and threw it away in the dark of the night.
It was about time Gomu had killed the worms with his chakra and got back on his feet. He didn't care much about the clone that had already knocked out Kanpai and was about to do the same to Chōhōkei. Gomu rushed towards Sun and was ready to kill her. "Fuck you, bitch!" he addresed Sun before jumping high in the air and coming down with a kick. Sun didn't flinch. She had an intimidating strategy in mind. She took the hit and it broke her left hand's bone. "Oh, what a shame," she looked at the hand that was swelling red now. Then with crazy eyes and smile on her face she looked at Gomu. "This would sure be handy to save your brother, wouldn't it?" she said as she squatted down and placed her broken hand on the ground, which soon was put in a cast of hardened dirt. "Just like new," she used the broken arm to punch Gomu off balance. As Gomu was lying down, she used the senbons to put him unconscious by launching them at his eyes.
An explosion of fire at the fireplace meant one thing - Chōhōkei had finally dealt with the clone. And knowing that he was the last one standing, he would probably not hesitate to kill Sun. This was the most serious concern to Sun for she knew that this boy was the strongest one amongst the group. "J-just leave us alone!" he screamed from afar, warning Sun. "Sorry, sweetie, that's not an option," Sun answered him and closed her third eye for she felt that this last fight might need her full focus on the enemy. Two eyes will be just right for him.
Sun would rush forward, while the boy would just throw oil at her. It was extremely hard to dodge the incoming attacks for the cast on her hand was heavy and bulky. For once - she blocked the oncoming oil with the cast and it immediately exploded. Her hand didn't suffer and burns, but it still was broken. And it freely hanging meant that Sun would need to endure some pain. It was just a few meters between the two. And Chōhōkei had waited for this moment to cover Sun in a layer of oil right as they were to meet. Sun was set ablaze for a few seconds, while there still was oil on her skin. "Gotcha," the boy happily said and leaned back on a log. As the fire was put off, Sun revealed herself as burnt corpse. Except she was still standing and smiling. "No, you didn't," she creepily said as the boy watched all the damage be repaired by kyoni in mere seconds. She was back - completely unchanged. She punched the boy in head and let him fall down on the ground. Then she stepped on his chest and leaned down to touch his neck. Inserting raiton chakra there would paralyze his breating and blood flow for a few seconds, rendering him uncounscious.

There wasn't much time to get all the rope and put all the boys in a leash while remembering to constrict their hands too. It was pain in the ass to do one handed for the broken hand wasn't much of a help in this task. The easy part was over - now she had to pull them all back to Sunagakure.
