MISSION:

The stage was set the contestant aligned, it was none other than Takashi and a few stray dogs today... veil of dust rose up to the sky and the stream bellow rippled violently by the stomping footsteps of the four legged beast. A split second later the dust would clear to show nothing but a pile of rocks, some still in their shuriken form all smashed into the earth surface by the lake side where a few dogs once gathered to have a sip of water. The earth shurikens was clearly a jutsu implemented by the Hazel hair Shinobi a few meters away from the lake. His motives as clear as day was to have as much fun as possible while carrying out a mission he had adopted today.

The young Shinobi had woken up today all cheerful and fit, He knew not what the day had install for him but he knew it would be fun. He hummed his way up from bed with a sweet tune his ear had picked up from the neighbors quarter. It was a funky tune and as such quickly became the other of the day. However Takashi didn't completely immense his time into it and only occasionally tuned in while he gathered his stuff and things together. In no distant tine the Shinobi was done with his morning routine and was now bathes and fed. He then quickly picked up his forehead protector and his purple wool scarf which he always hanged over his neck. He also picked up his shurikens and kunais and after quickly put in everything in place he stepped out of his apartment and locked it behind him...

"Hello big brother Phantom, would you mind joining us in our fun game of find the ninja."  young boy accompanied by his friends, all carrying a rubber kunai on their hand which they would swing from left to right would ask in an innocent tone. A smile would stretch out across Takashi face on seeing this but the Shinobi would only slide his hands into his pockets before calmly walking down a few flight of stairs to reach the young neighborhood boy bellow. On reaching him, he would only pull out his left hand from his pocket and playfully caress the 5 year old's hair. "Maybe next time, big brother has some duties he needs to carry out for the village first". The young boy would simply nod his head in acceptance "Ok brother, but tomorrow you will play with us, won't you?". Takashi would simply nod back at him and wave him and his friends’ goodbye before moving forward into the village, the kids would do the same before heading back into their homes.

With his two hands still submerged into his pocket, Takashi would walk down the streets of Iwagakure, and even though it was still early in the morning people would roam along the streets as they carry out their daily routine, Takashi would greet some of the elder folks who he had come to know and respect and also some youngsters who would greet him as they pass by. His demeanor  would remain calm and settled up until the point where he would see a horde of people all rounded at one spot. Takashi would walk over to the location to see an anbu who was said to be having some sort of allergic reaction being lifted into a stretcher. a scroll with the Iwagakure seal would drop out of his hand at that point. Takashi would walk over and pick it up for the shinobi, the shinobi would give him charge over the scroll and also tell him to hang it over at the mission section for any willing shinobi to accomplish.

Takashi would continue with his purpose for the day and head over the shinobi HQ where he would scan and and pick a suitable D rank mission for the day. He would then leave the Hq in a bit of a haste prompted by the  excitement he currently fell. The missions aim was clear and simple "capture stray dogs" but Takashi's joy and excitement would be mostly caused by the location of the mission "the Iwagakures waterfall". This was one place the young shinobi had always wanted to visit. He would however feel a bit disturbed and uneasy on leaving the HQ, he would feel as if he had forgotten something. But what it was would continue to delude him as he races his way to the waterfall.

On reaching the waterfall, which stands as the main source of water for the villagers, Takashi calmly took his time to marvel at its attributes. The majestic flow of water from the high hills to a multiple routed lake, the chirping sounds of birds and the magnificent overview of the city from this location would appease the young shinobi and with this, his thought's and worries would quickly fade away leaving behind only enthusiasm and excitement. He would bring down his eye to the lake rumored to consist of several enriched nutrients and minerals, and as expected it would dazzle under the ray of the sun. Takashi would shift his attention to the gathering of a few dogs around the lake. They would all have multiple colors on them and would look a bit wild and dirty. Takashi would stare at them for a while and observe how they interact with each other by barking, biting and bumping each other.

Takashi would conceal his presence by moving through the trees and bushes around as silent as possible. He would continue to draw closer until he finds himself 15 meters away from them. The purple eye shinobi would attempt another step forward only to step on a twig which would emit a slight sound. The dogs would lift their head from the bent over position it previously assumed and move forward towards the other side of the lake, the rest would immediately follow up the first. Takashi would stand up all disappointed but intrigued.

"It looks like they have good ears, much better than I expected" he would silently murmur before heading over to the other side of the lake through the hills with the aim of join up with them. In a matter of minutes he would find himself over at the other side and like before he would move undetected. His movement this time would be seen as perfect. On reaching a distance of 10 meters A second dog different from the first would then lift his head and sniff the air, he would then walkover to another side of the lake and so would others.

Takashi at this time would feel more disappointed than intrigued but would however not lose his happy demeanor, he would immediately follow up the dogs to their new location and but this time he won’t move in on them. He would immediately put together what he had experienced so far in other to come up with a plan.

"They have sharp ears, nose and probably eyes. At the moment i can only reach a distance of ten meters unnoticed maybe with better efforts 5 meters. What should i do from their?" The hazel hair shinobi would ponder as he continuous to observe them from a tree branch. In a matter of second an idea would pop into the shinobis mind. He would immediately jump down to the floor and pick up stones a total of 5. He would then climb up the tree branch and fling one after another each one thrown closer to the dog than the last. On reaching a distant of 10 meters one of the dogs would lift his head and make a cross over the lake. Takashi would immediately smile over this. He would pick up a pattern. He would notice how the parks of dog depend on each other for various things and how they would follow a few with impressive sensing capabilities. Takashi would then descend from the tree and step out of the bushes.

By forming the required hand-seals, slabs of earth would peel off from the ground and adopt the shape of a standard shuriken. They would spin in union while suspended mid air for a while, as if waiting for a command of a sort. Takashi would observe the dog’s location and positioning and eventually will the shuriken’s forward this shuriken would hit areas surrounding the dogs and in the process cause a momentary confusion which Takashi would take advantage of. The young shinobi would quickly head into the dust cloud and watch as each dog scamper away through different parts. They would find it difficult to see or follow anyone and as such give Takashi enough time to pick them up, one at a time.

As anticipated Takashi would observe some of them head towards his direction, and would immediately dive them in an attempt to grab them by their legs. This he would successfully achieve but their resilience and strength would quickly grant them their freedom. Takashi would try again with another beast and would also find himself left behind in a pile of dust.  A fast glance around his environment, Takashi would come to realize he is almost out of time and in a quick thought process he would create another seal which would transform him into a pebble. The dust cloud and commotion he once brought about would simultaneously dissolve and settle.

Takashi would stay in his new form by the lake side and await the dogs this time. However they won’t gather as fast as he would have immagined all thanks to his last rampage. The last commotion he had created would leave most of them fear stricken and tired and while a few still hover around a lot of them would give up for the day and head out. Takashi would still maintain his position for hours with hopes of catching at least one.

With every passing hour Takashi patience and perseverance would continually be put to the test. He would only hold on to his resolve and continue to wait for his time. Not long afterwards a dog would head over to the lake for a drink. This would gladden Takashi's heart but however he would decide not to grab the dog that would at that moment stand directly over him. Minutes later a few more would join him and eventually the whole pack would be seen sipping and drinking water from the same side. Takashi would immediately resurface once he is assured their guards are totally down in a bid to take them all by surprise. His sudden rise would tumble most over to their backs while some still find their way out. Takashi would quickly hold onto four of them and subdue them with vines after which he would carry the four back to the village with him.

on reaching the pound Takashi would drop down the four dogs and observe a veterinarian come over to observe them. The doctor would check out their teeth's and eyes with a touch light before giving Takashi the thumbs up. Takashi would then wave him goodbye before going back to the headquarter to give his report and also receive his rewards.
