Safety Inspection:

On Saturday morning, Shihai walks out of the leaf village mission assignment building with two new C level mission briefs in hand. One of them is a request for someone to test out some sort of new weapons for the research and development department. Right off the bat, Shihai's expression just dropped. The people of the research department always seem to have something crazy going on, some of the new invention turns out to be very usually, but most other invention are just...they are better off not existing altogether. The last time that she heard of anyone testing something for the people in white lab coat, rumors has it that the whole place burn down in flames and it wasn't even intentionally, something about a failure in safety control? Nothing needs to be said that Shihai was not feeling comfortable with this mission alright, and she has barely even walked out of the research department's front door, she was no where near the destination for the lab test.

Nevertheless, she is a ninja, sure a geni, but she is still somewhat a professional. She has taken this mission so she was going to finish it, potentially dangerous and untested new weaponary be damned. A true ninja like herself (feeling some confidence alright) is going to have no problem sensing dangerous incoming and dodge that bullshit before it can say hello. ....She just hope that this thing doesn't explose in front of her face like those that did, in front of her unfortunate former classmate. (may they rest in peace in the hospital...should probably consider go visiting them and maybe sending them some flower and other get well some gifts.)

Shihai sighs as she walked toward the outer ring of the village, just in front of the walls. She has arrived to what appeared to be an old and abandoned training ground, this is the place designated as the place by the mission package. She looks around her dark brown side bag that she was carrying and fish around for the package that was handed out to her. In side the package, there was a small bag, a folded letter, and three different summoning scrolls.

um....summoning scrolls? Is this part of the mission? Or some freebies? Dare I even hope?

Shihai wonders to herself, as she set her bag onto the ground beside her and unroll the first summoning scroll. It appears to have some kind of summoning jutsu sealed inside the scroll, but she couldn't tell about anything else detail related....She pulls the scroll to her teeth and hold it in a bite, as she reached for the letter, she tears the letter package and pulls out the folded letter inside, the letter appears to explain what the items were, in so very few words, basically did nothing to tell her what the weapons were and what each of them could do, never mind what to look out for. In the introduction paragraph of the letter, the letter had helpfully provided that in the event that all of this goes to hell (metaphorically) then the unfortunate guinea pig should use the green summoning scroll to summon up a medical ninja cat that would hopefully both heal the wounds of the unfortunately ninja, but also handles the rest of whatever is happening.

With one hand holding the letter and the other to hold the scroll, Shihai raised one of her eye brown, she considers to herself a little cheekily.
That doesn't sound too bad, even though I have no idea what the scrolls do exactly, but if a cat (ninja cats, those are ninja cats!) can handles it, then surely I can too. Maybe the previous guinea pig...I mean, volunteer, was just unlucky and got the really bad ones, surely this one is alright, it doesn't sound dangerous at all. I will be fine, I will just test these things and I will report back, all before lunch time, that sounds about right~

Shihai nodded to herself, seemingly satisfied and she didn't even bother to read the rest of the page. She pulls out the kunai that she strapped on her belt, quickly and lightly run it against her thumb, cuts up a little red line. She settles her letter into her bag on the ground, walks towards the center of the field and puts her thumb onto the red circle on the summoning scroll.

She closed her eyes and allows her chakra to flow into the scroll, feeling the warmth of the energy floating within, it forms a complicated patterns, that was beyond the means of Shihai to described. Suddenly it became warm, and Shihai snapped opened her eyes in surprise just as the scroll burst up into flame, she immediately dropped the burning scroll onto the ground, and the red and orange mix of light coming from the scroll in an eerie form, it raises upward.

....!

Shihai takes a step back immediately, cautiously eyeing the scroll at what was happening, she retreat back to her bag and picked it up. Still eyeing the flames cautiously. Did it failed...? I haven't even done anything yet it was already burning? Maybe I should call the fire department...?

But before she could do anything else, the red light from the scroll rises up and takes form of two angry looking spirit, both spirit looked like human yet clearly not, they have long hair and was transparent, each of them looks around the surrounding and seemingly unaware of where they are and have not yet decided on what they were going to do.

Shihai quickly skim through the rest of the letter while the spirits are focusing on the surroundings and was not watching her. The letter had indicated that the red scroll summons two vengeance spirits and they will attack anyone in sight.

Wait...anyone...? Like me?! Shihai realized with a startled that she could be in danger, and so is anyone within the area. If this was used in the battlefield, it could potentially goes badly for all participates, especially since the spirits are floating and looked like that they could fly. If they could fly and moves around and that they would attack anyone regardless of which side they are on, then it would be like a moving bomb, what was the R&E Department thinking when they invented this?! This was worst than having nothing, it was like adding to a wild card into the mix, I would prefer smoking bomb and teleportation scroll over this any day, heck I would even prefer a first aid box over this stupid thing!

Shihai tries very hard to resist the urge to throw this letter down to the ground and step on it for good measure. Remember Shihai...you are a professional ninja now! And patience is a virtue! Besides, you don't want to step on the letter just yet, maybe it had some very important and helpful information on it! The information that could save your life....Shihai was thinking/debating with herself, before finally noticing a shadow quickly approaching her from the side, out of pure reflect of the victim to her brother's random pranks, she jumped quickly to the side to avoid a flaming attack from one of the spirits, the one of the left.

It looked like when she was thinking to herself, the spirits have come to an agreement on what they wanted to do. They are now both looking at her silently, if she was not in danger right now, she would have wonder on whether they could talk too.

Shihai quickly glance on the remaining of the letter, half paying attention to the spirits. The Letter indicated that the orange scroll direct their attention to a target...

And that is all I need to know! Finally! There was no way that they create a weapon without some kind of guiding target system!

Shihai quickly puts away the letter into her bag, and started running, she rolls on the ground to dodge yet another attack, this time it was a charging attack from one of the spirits. The other spirit circles around, both spirits having their attention on her, one in the front and one at the back.

Both spirits charged at her at the same time, Shihai stood at her spot, unmoving. Just as the two spirits charged in and was about to claw at her, she crouch down and rolls to the left side, out of the way. The spirits clashes with each other and slide through each other, apparently truly transparent.

Shihai quickly stood up and looked at the spirits, they seems to posses basic thinking ability and have now realized that they missed their targets. Shihai has no idea how much damage they could have done if their attack landed, she would guess that that was what this testing was all about, but was not interested in using herself as the guinea pig. Besides, better start to pack those things up before they lost interest in her and started to wander outside to where the civilians are, Shihai thought to herself silently.

As both spirits turns around and was looking at her, Shihai quickly pulls out the orange scroll from her bag, and in a moment, activated this scroll as well. Immediately, there was some kind of digital screen appearing in front of her, showing each spirit's target system as a circle.

Shihai jumps up and to the side to dodge a fire ball throwing to her way, and quickly rolls to the side to dodge an other charge, she puts her index and middle finger on the circles, and with a bit of struggle to locate each of the spirit because everyone was moving at the time. After a bit, she managed to lock each of the spirit's target circle to the other. And both spirits let out a roar of anger, they charged towards each other.

Shihai retreat back a few steps, puts everything in her bag and take out her notes, carefully recording down the battle between them, while being mindful of keeping her distance and watching out for any potential bystanders. Taking notes to record the outcome of the battle, it lasted for only a few minutes, not one of the spirit won the battle as both of them disappeared into the air, presuming due to the lack of chakra to support their existence. Shihai noted that down too, the battle overall was ok at best, the spirits seem to possess some kind of intelligence, but their attacks are very standard and they rely on brute strength than anything else. Moreover, because they are both spirits, it was hard for her to tell exactly how much strength they have and the battle was not even finished.

Shihai shakes her head, she would consider this test completed now, but in turns of performance, if the R&E department truly wishes to use them as a real weapon, they have some serious tinkering to do before they could be considered something truly of value. As of right now, she would consider those things, low level summoning at best. With the only positive aspect of them being that they don't need a contract signed, maybe they will be useful in teaching beginner's on summoning justsu. That was her honest opinion, not that she was familiar with how those things run away.

As the battle was coming to an end, Shihai taken up on herself to put out the fire, since she can't get burn anyway and to tidy up the place a little bit. There was no bystander today. She usually don't really bother with cleaning and besides, this place looked abandoned anyway, even when she was little she didn't train here and as far as she knows, hardly anyone visit her. But it was a matter of good manner to not completely trashed a place after she runs one test here and visit here once. She didn't really want to leave a bad impression on the next person who uses this place. After cleaning up, she dust off the dust from her clothes, considers the test run today. They don't feel all that dangerous to her, and she was just a genin, she didn't even need to summon the ninja cats, and didn't need to use whatever was in that small box. She pulls the small black box up, considers open it, but decided against it. She didn't need to know, but from the size of it, it could maybe hold a pen? Shihai shakes her head and puts it back into her bag.

Since both spirits are transport, there was no way to dodge their defense and Shihai did not allow any of them to land an attack against her, for the brief time that she was engaged with combat with both of them. And maybe it was unfortunate or it was fortunate for the small park, that neither spirits did a physical attack against at the equipment or the trees of the park. So she doesn't know there pure strength either. Speed wise, they both seemed pretty fast, but not fast enough that she would be unable to react in time. And as far as Jutsu goes, both seems to be heavily fire element based. For this brief period of time, they have used fire ball, and shooting lines of fire, it had felt somewhat intense, as fire usually are.

Despite everything, even though she seems to be able to handle the both of them at the same time, it had appeared way more easy than it really was. Shihai was given the orange scroll, which allows aggro the enemy's attention away from her, if she didn't have the scroll, and with both of them potentially able to go through walls, fly, shoots fire balls and having some kind of intelligent. This might end up pretty badly for Shihai, just running away would have been a challenge since the enemy can fly. Not to mention, in the real fight, it won't just be the two of them, she can bet that the R&E department was thinking about massively producing those things, and overwhelm the enemies with sheer number. Just thinking about fire ghost things all around her in the battle field gives her the chills, the R&E department really did it this time! They out did themselves with these things, and it was making her feel really uncomfortable. Individually the spirits may not be much to fear, but with enough of them, she could see how that they might be able to turn the tide of the war. It got some serious potential. But it was all just in the development phase, when this thing goes for approval, it undoubtedly, need to be tinkered somehow. Even though she only read about the Hokage and maybe seen him in the graduation ceremony, he doesn't seem to be the reckless type, so Shihai doubt that he would let it pass just like that, the public reputation of the konoha ninja also needs to be considered. Konoha may not be the type of village to let loss hoards of this kind of things unchecked into the battle field, even if it was the battlefield. Imagine the unfortunate civilians that could got caught in cross fire.

Thinking to herself about the first half of her day and of the battle that she just finished watching, Shihai gathers upwhat remains of the package into her bag and went back to the research department to submit her report.

It was around noon time then and the sunlight was good, the streets are busy and thankfully, this test run, there was no explosion, only a few burns here and there and it was put out by Shihai. No bystanders, no causality, and she didn't even find out what was in the small box. Overall, she considers this mission a success. Shihai would need to get back to the office building to re-organize her notes and write her reports then. She briefly wonders if she should write her own opinion rather than just her observation of the sprites into her report. Then she decided against the again and shook her head, nope, she was just a genin and that she was sure that they are professional people in that building whose job was to consider all of those things and consider on improvement. They will be fine. The Konoha village is heading out to another day of peace and prosperity.

Waaaa!:

Everything was quiet, but then....

Zap Zap Zap....!

Um....!

Struggling awake by the sudden raise of lot noise, Shihai raise one arm out of her blanket and hit the snooze button on top of her alarm clock. She was tempted to just go back to sleep already, her head still feels numb from the previous mission and her muscles still feel like that they are so tense that they are made out of rocks and can break away any second now. When she was sleeping happily in dreamy land, dreaming about being the hero and slaying dragons it was all fine and dandy, but as soon as she was back to the land of the awakenings, everything hurts, her muscles aches and she was just so hungry, and tired and didn't have nearly enough sleep. She really really wants a day off and just lay on the bed all day long, maybe with a cup of good soup noodles and some snacks and some TV, now, that sounded like how a life should be. Or better yet, just go back to sleep again, surely nothing important is going to happen today....I think...?

Shihai slowly closes her eyes, face nuzzles against her soft blanket and she was drifting back to sleep again.

ZZZZzzzzzz.....

Zap Zap Zap....!

!!!!!

It couldn't have been more than five minutes and the stupid alarm clock was beeping again! Feeling insulted, Shihai reached out her arm from underneath her blanket and turned off the alarm clock. The digital surface shows that it was 7 am.

....

What the....? 7 am, what came over me yesterday to set the alarm so early, it was Monday, and I only came back yesterday after mid-night, I fought a bandit for crying out loud, I need some more rest!

Frowning, as she tries to remember what reason it could have been for her to set her alarm to 7 on Monday morning.

Monday morning, and she was so comfortable too, with thick blinds covered up the beaming bright morning sunlight and with fresh feeling air conditioner....

The students...!

That's right, she got a mission to act as the temporary teacher for the ninja academy, she was supposed to teach the class of Rookies on basic ninja techniques. Even though Shihai herself was just a Genin, and as such, she was not so confident in her own Jutsu, having only recently graduated herself and have not yet seen too many combats yet. She had a brief moment of self doubt on whether she could even teach someone else, let alone an entire class of new ninjas, of which, are coincidentally (not) the future of Konoha! What if she made a mistake and taught them wrong? She would have weaken an entire generation! (not)

But then again, since the Hokage approves the mission and set it out that Genin can teach too, it must mean that she would be alright too. Even if she was new, she still passed her graduation exam and thus in theory possess the proper knowledge of the basic?

Nodding to herself, fully convinced that she could do it too, Shihai raises her hand into a fist and silently cheer herself up.

Right! Today is a brand new day! And I will show those Rookies (even more of a rookie than you are) that it meant to be a true Shinobi! And they would be so impressed by my skills, that each time that they saw me, they would give me some candies too! Wuhahahahahaha!!!! (she likes sweets)

Now that having made up her mind, Shihai pulls her blanket over and jumps out of the bed, rubbing sleep out from her eyes. She quickly changed to her mission outfits, dark brown jacket, white shirts, black long scarf, dark brown skirt, black leggings and combat boots. She pulls her hair into a pony tail and went to wash up. Forgoing breakfast entirely, after all, she didn't wanted to be late for her first class ever as a teacher! Albeit a temporary one. But as a ninja, running across the distance would not take much time at all, but she just want to be there early, and to show the students the meaning of being prepared~! She wants the Rookies to look up to her~ She put on her black combat gloves and recheck her equipment, having satisfied with everything, she runs down the stairs of her family home.

Both of her parents are out on the missions now, so she wasn't expecting breakfast. But as soon as she stepped out of her room, she could smell the miso soup and fried eggs, she comes down the stairs to see her brother, Shikai, who was still wearing his full combat outfit, standing there and cooking something.

Sensing her approach, the black hair male turns around to look at her, he says evenly. "You want some?" Raising the pan on his hand, showing fried eyes still sizzling on the pan.

Shihai paused for a bit and slowly shook her head. It was not usual, to see her brother offering her anything. After all, they didn't really get along and nothing relating to help from help can come by without a good amount of tantrums, crying, begging, yelling, you get the idea.

But she can see that he was so very tired at the moment, he hadn't even changed out of his combat clothes, and she could smell faint sense of blood. It had appeared that he had just came back from a mission of his own and was making food for himself, having to came back in the morning must mean that he stayed out overnight, and he also looked too tired to keep up his usual cold expression and attitude.

"But thank you though....I have a mission today, that I need to do in the academy...so...I'll be out." Hesitantly, afraid to break this one moment of peace between them, Shihai says, using hand gesture to motion towards the door. Shikei nodded at her and turns back to cooking. She thank her brother for the offer and turns towards the door.

Running up to the walls and running across the roof tops, she jumps across the distance, landing softly and silently on the other side. Picking up the pace once again, the cold morning wind blow pass by her, lifting her long pony tail up behind her. The sun has already risen up and shine brightly on the sky, and already the streets was starting to buzz with life and activities on the ground.

Shihai jumps down and landed just outside of the student academy. It would have been her first time back here after graduation, and yet somehow, despite the fact that she had only recently says goodbye to this place, it had looked foreign to her. Surely nothing was changed, the front gate, the walls, and buildings all looked the same, but yet somehow it no longer felt like it had once before. She felt like an outsider standing there.

Causally walking towards the front gate, she show her mission tab to the guards at the gate, the guards checked the tab and nodded to her. With a few motions from the guards, the gate was opened and allowing her to walk in. She had checked her mission details about two days before, and she roughly remembers what it was all about. She was supposed to teach a combat lesson out in the training yard, and not in the classroom, so she didn't go towards the buildings, instead she turns and walked towards the training ground and that she was going to wait for the students there.

But to her surprise, when she was reaches to her destination, she found the students to be already there, waiting for her. Some were sitting on the ground and some were sitting on the log.

"What...You guys are so early." As Shihai approaches, she greeted the students. She noticed that she doesn't appear to be so much older than the students, and it appears that the students noticed this too as some of them let out a snort.

"Wow! Congratz on being late on the first day of the job teach! Ya are going to teach us tardiness now?" One of the student snorted at her.

Shihai feels her cheeks flustering up for a bit. "N...no! I wasn't late, I was exactly on time, you guys are just early." She says seriously.

"Na-aahhh. Being on time is being late! After all, we are ninjas and we are always supposed to be there before the enemies! Didn't they teach you that when you are at school?" The same student says in a uplift tone.

"Oh sheesh, Tai-kun, she's from an older generation, they probably didn't have that kind of class. It's a pity but it looked like our generation will be so much better than the ones before, such heavily burden rest on our shoulders to correct the past generation's mistake." One of the other student laugh and says to his friend.

"Now, hey now! We are from the same generation! I am not even that older than you guys, I just graduated! How come I'm from the older generation now?" Shihai can't help herself but to cut in to that conversation. She was 15 for crying out loud, she can't be old! She's not even old enough to drink wines! (but old enough to fight in a war though)

At that comment, the students fall silent.

"Did you hear that Tai-kun?" The second student said quietly.

"I sure did, I'm not deaf you know, Chi-chan." Tai says quietly.

....

What...? What did I say now?

"Are you kidding me?! You just graduated?! Then how can you teach us, you are barely older than us have you even fought anyone?!!" One of the kid in red hair yelled at her loudly.

!!!

Shihai takes a step back at the sudden raise of loud voice, some of the students actually had the guts to laugh at her out loud. She felt her cheeks redden up even more.

"Did you see that? She just took a step back, what kind of shinobi is that? We didn't even attack her!" One of the student says to her friend.

"Yeah, what a coward! I can't believe that they let someone like her to teach us, I don't think she knows how to fight..." The friend agrees with a nod.

"Now! Enough of that!" Shihai snapped. Then silently scolded herself for losing her tempers at a bunch of kids, she was supposed to retain the presence of a fully trained shinobi! Rest in peace professional shinobi reputation, although, some can say that that reputation was gone the after the few sentences that she exchange with the students. Shihai uses her proverbial vision to look for the teach who usually teach the class. Where is that teacher anyway, she need someone to do a proper introduction and retain control of the kids. And of course, the teacher is no where to be seen. It looked like it was all her, all by herself now. She sighs silently to herself, she barely even started and it all went down hill already.

"Alright. My name is Shihai Kimura, of the Kimura. You may know that as the fire dragon clan..." before she can finish her introduction, she can hear some students chuckles to themselves, seemingly not impressed by her. Shihai bites her teeth and take a deep breath. Don't lose your temper now, remain cool, you are a professional! Think of what your brother would have done in this kind of situation! Shihai silently told herself, well, the answer would be to kick those students' sorry little butts, but she can't do that. Violent against students are strictly prohibited, and the combat class hasn't started yet.

"Like I say, I am here today to teach you the basic of shinobi combat." Shihai stares at one of the student who was laughing. Her GKK makes her eyes looked eerie in gold, like that of a serpent, or that of a mythological dragon if you will. Now, despite that does no damage, her eyes are scary looking and that shut the student up. Apparently snobby attitudes aside, kids are kids and can be intimidated super easily. If this was real, she could imagine that some of those students are going to lose their cool against a real enemy and potentially panic themselves.

shihai

Shihai snorted to herself, well, we can't have the future of Konoha doing that and disgrace us all in the battle field.

"And despite that I have only recently graduated, I have been to real combat, and sorry to say that it was more than what you guys have been though." Well it was true, but only one. And yes, she does feel like a hypocrite to brag her one time combat and use that to compare herself to the students, makes her feel childish too, but now that she said it, she was going to continue with that line.

"And I believe the only way to truly learn about combat is to fight. So. That is today's class, come at me and I will teach you how to fight like a shinobi." And that concludes her introduction.
Silent....

The students stared at her in disbelief and she stares right back at them.

Yes. After she said it she realized herself that she might have been a bad teacher. Because there was no lecture, there was no talk about techniques or strategy, heck she didn't say anything beyond a very brief self introduction. A good teacher would have at least summaries some tips and hints, and past experience from being out in the field, but not her, she barely spook to the students. Most of her lines are reaction (badly) to that the students had said. There was nothing like now and then, staying there in front of bunch of kids that makes her really realized that she was in fact, a newbie. She didn't know how to do this, she barely even know how being a ninja works herself, let alone teaching other people on being a ninja. Just this morning that she said to herself that she was going to teach those youngsters how to be a ninja properly, but now, she doesn't know if she could actually do it.

Still, standing here now, with some of the student's gaze started to sharpen up, she knows that there was no take back now. Newbie or no newbie, she had accepted the job and that she was going to see this mission to the end.

Shihai shifted her stands, lower in her center and readjusted her position. It had appeared that some of the students have taken what she said to heart as one of them jumped up at her, pulling out a kunai at the same time. Shihai dodged to the side, with a hand motion, she disarmed the student and kicked him to the side, and quickly avoided another charge.

Shihai frowns at that, what is up with all those charges, they may be students, but surely they would know a jutsu or two, the charges are so straight forward and not shinobi like at all! Shihai side step around the student, catching another student in mid air and throw her towards another student closing in. There are all close range combat.

shihai

Just when she was thinking about that, a few shirkens were throw towards her, but some of them are clearly throw way off target, still, treating this seriously. She rush forward and roll to dodge, hiding behind a nearby tree for the enemy shooting to sustain, just then, she noticed a shadow above her.

Without even looking upward she retreat back, just as another student jumps down the tree with a kunai in hand, and another student rush out of the bushes at the side, it had looked like they were going to crashed into each other. And she was worried because one of them has the kunai, she was fine with student using weapons against her but not against another student.

"Pull back your kunai!!!" Shihai shouted at the student with the weapon, she stopped herself from retreating and rushes forward, she was going to stopped the students to clash into each other. Bad teaching techniques aside, she was not going to let a student get hurt under her watch! How can she report that to the official school staff?! Shihai clicks her tongue and rushes forward.

Just as she was charging in, she noticed one of the student smirked to herself. Shihai's eyes widen in surprise, she was not worried that she could get stabbed by the kunai? But before could continue on with that thought, she senses something around her. Biting her teeth, she throw up her own two needles, with one she throw it so it knocked out the kunai at the student's hand, and with another to the side. She made a few quick and gesture with one hand and rush forward, making a motion to catch the student so she doesn't land on top of her friend.

Just then...

"We got you now! Fire ball Jutsu!" Out from behind another bush, a fire ball shot towards her way fast. Shiahi managed to catch both students in time and throw them out of the way before the fire ball hit her square center. Her imagine goes up in smoke and she disappeared into the thin air. It was a shadow clone switch Jutsu, having multi task special characteristic allows her to activate ninjustu with only one hand, allowing her to hide her moment from the enemy view.

"What the...wait, I didn't get her!" The student yapped loudly behind the bushes, alerting Shihai to his position at the same time.

Shihai appears from the shadow behind him and slapped him on the head. "That is enough! This training exercise is over!" She shouted loudly to the surroundings, hoping to get the other student's attention.

Then, one by one, the students came out of the hiding, she counted and find that they are all here before continue to speak.

"I am glad that you guys obviously planned this out before I even arrived. Even though I am just a new Genin, I am glad that you guys have taken me seriously. Enough to come up with this plan to lock me in place for the fire ball." Shihai takes a deep breath. "It was a good plan, I wasn't expecting it." Wasn't expecting a team coordinated attack from a bunch of kids, she had thought that it was going to be an easy one on one. "Nevertheless! This plan is reckless! What if I didn't get them in time? You would have hurt your classmate because of what? A mock fight?"

"Yuka wouldn't have been hurt, we practiced this! We are going to show the adults that we are not to be taken lightly!" One of the student said loudly.

"Yeah!" The others agreed.

"Besides, we shinobis get hurt all the time in the real fight, there's no excuse to be chicken out now!" Tai-kun says.

"We got hurt because we have no choice! In a real fight, you don't just get one fight and that's over, and you get to go home now! No! You fight and there are enemy reinforcements, there are traps and that they are going to chase you, or that you managed to come home only to receive another mission!" Shihai snapped at the students for their attitude. "In real mission is a drag out fight, you don't get hurt unless you absolutely have to, you save each of every drop of energy you can, and you absolutely do not endanger a teammate unless there was no other choice. You have the choice here! This is a mock fight, we have time!" Shihai says darkly, she hopes that she gets the message across to them.
Clap clap.

"That's a good place to stop. Thank you, Ms. Kimura, for the mock fight. I'm sure that the students learned a lot from fighting with someone of similar age but with more experience. I am sure that a mock fight will teach them far more than reading on books." An unfamiliar voice says.

Shihai quickly turns to the direction of the sound, a chunin ninja claps his hand to get the class's attention.

"Mr. Yuki you are back! Did you see us fight? Are you impressed?" One of the students says and Mr. Yuki smiled at her gentlely.

That must have been the teacher who used to teach the class.

"I did, you guys really though this through and were taking the mock fight and your strategy homework seriously, I am happy for you of that, but however, what Ms. Kimura said was right, you must not plan out strategies recklessly. Not only will that get you in trouble with the school board, but for the sake of your own safety too. Yuka, please check back with the nurse's office as soon as you are able." Mr. Yuki says to one of the student. The latter nodded.

Belling....~ The sound of the bell rings, signalling the end of the class, and as each of the students goes to their next class, Shihai noticed that some of the students actually approached her to say goodbye. Apparently getting kicked at and throw did not lessen their mood at all.

"Sorry I attacked your students." Shihai rubbed the back of her neck sheeshly. She didn't know that there was a teacher watching, but of course there are. And now that she knows that, suddenly everything that she said and done since this morning came back to her like a flash back. She mentally cringed at how childish she was acting and is right now not looking forward to the report at all.

"Haha, no worries. I was expecting for either some kind of mock fight, or a drill of some kind. It's not all that uncommon to be honest. In fact, that was how my teacher used to teach me. And to be honest, once they graduated here, they can't expect the enemy to not attack them, better get used to the mentality now. I was surprised that you weren't more aggressive." Yuki commented, then his expression turns a bit dark. "In fact, it pains me to say this, but I have half hoped that you would be scary enough to them that some of them turns back from being a shinobi altogether."

Shihai's eyes widen in surprised at that.

Yuki continues. "I know, I know that it was a selfish thing to say, but I lost my parents and so many others to the shinobi world. I have thought that retreating from active duty and takes up teaching would have helped me to get pass this, but it did not. Our world is a cruel place, and it was so dangerous, it pains me to see my student in danger. Bu I know too that it was not my decision to make, they made up their mind when they take up the mantle, and I wish them good luck and I pray for them. Sorry for the ranting." He shakes his head good naturely. "Still, thank you for coming today, I'm sure that the students could use a change from hearing me talking and some exercise would do them good. That's all for today, you may report your mission back to central now." Yuki smiled at Shihai. The latter nodded at him and waves him goodbye before turning to leave.

It was close to noon time then, and as she walks out of the gate, and the gate closing heavily behind her. She stepped out into the street and can't help but to think that, she herself has much to learn too. Going to face some students, she took them lightly where she shouldn't have. That's newbie mistake number one.
