Asura yawned as he slowly raised his head off of his pillow. His eyes slowly opened, showing the blurry light peering through the tent. The blur started to clear as he shook his head from side to side, clearing his mind of the nightmares from last night, the sights of gigantic spiders crawling around him, vanishing, leaving his mind with the dream of a six-armed being, glowing with wrath. Asura tapped his forehead lightly with the palm of his head, his head aching, "Owww... Why today..." He quietly spoke in his low toned voice. He moved the blanket off of himself and tossed it to the side as he crawled out of the tent. He stood up and yawned, stretching his arms and legs, cracking his neck before throwing a few punches at the air. He packed up his things putting them away carefully before picking up his backpack and making his way back into the village.

Asura slowly walked into the Village, cleaning sweat from his forehead after sprinting half way to the location. He half-crouched as he took deep breaths, trying to catch his breath . He stood up straight and let out a loud sigh, "Phew, that was one hell of a long run!.. Again... I should stop running everywhere..." He said to himself as he looked around, his purple eyes scanning the area while his short white moved slowly in the wind. 'Well, there isn't much here... Yet again...' He thought to himself. He stepped forward onto the dirt, making his way into the village, leaving a trail of footprints from his huge boots. Asura kept his head down as he walked past the several homes between his and the market, hearing the villagers talk as he passed by.

He passed by a Cafe, his eyes scanning the streets for a book store, remembering about Cero and the books he wanted to bring back for him from his visit. His mind wandered as he passed by each store, 'Huh, wonder where cousin Dray is, not heard from him in a few years... Maybe I'll run into him here, there is always that chance, it would be great, I really miss that guy... I'd get to show him my awesome new jutsu, though, I really should start to work on my Earth techniques, almost nothing there... He would be proud of me.' He smiled to himself before realizing he was standing still the entire time, right in the middle of the road. Asura laughed a little to himself before looking for a bench to sit on. He strolled off to the right and sat down on a bench, taking his bag off and placing it down next to him as he relaxed with a large smile across his face, leaning his head back as he stretched his arms and legs a bit, cracking his neck. "Been a while since I had a long run, wow, almost forgot what it felt like to run for your life so you wont be late... If I missed these exams it would have been alright, eh..." He spoke to himself, closing his eyes slowly. His mind drifted yet again, 'Perhaps Cero or Yuki would like to come here, just from the first look of it, it looks like a nice place, maybe I should have brought them with me.' It seemed to Asura that almost every day, he walked to this same bench and sat down, and almost every day, he met someone new.

Kaminari no Kuni, The land Hidden in the Clouds. Kumogakure no Sato, The Village hidden in the Clouds. Like most of the other Village's it lived up to it's obviously well thought out name, above towering even the tallest of buildings, alluring formulated clouds floated tranquilly, completely oblivious to the hustle and bustle of the overly populated Village below. The clouds seemed to drift as one, gathering in windless area's allowing them to form together into larger clouds. As white and delicate as silk, even as they joined and formed together the clouds never seemed to drift farther than the Village's walls as if trapped within the rocky terrain of a prison. The Village itself seemed so shrouded that even the barely visible blue sky above seemed to struggle against the hold the clouds held. The suns rays barely penetrated the clouds flaws as it beamed down upon the lives of the Village folk and obvious tourists who bustled about the village without so much as a second thought about the master piece above them.

The view above seemed so beautiful if not articulate that Rue found her eyes shining with amazement as she approached the gate to enter the Hidden Village, it all seemed so surreal to be within another a Village and while Iwagakure and Kumogakure were not enemies, they certainly weren't allies. Rue had to give it to the Cloud Ninja, their home was just as beautiful as the land of earth even if it did lack a few of Tsuchi no Kuni's well defining qualities. As Rue made her decent within the Village she surveyed as much of the village as her senses would allow, the flow of people, the noises, the smells, good and bad. The gleams of an assortment of different colored and symbol-ed head bands caused the blonde hair Kunoichi's head to throb. To be sure it was alot to take but as a whole it was another adventure Rue was eager to participate in, even if it meant she was to handle it alone.

Without so much as a second thought she paced through the busy streets, her eyes focused ahead, while her mind was remained in the clouds above, it was foolish thoughts that clouded her mind but even so there were worse thoughts that could come. After buying an assortment of souvenirs to take home for her Uncle, she continued her journey deeper into the Village, she passed a Cafe and while she felt a hunger pain deep within the pit of her stomach, she still couldn't fight the urge that the wind was blowing her toward something more important. It was then she noticed the bookstore, as beautifully built as one would expect of an educational building, she had planned to buy as many books as she could while she was within Kumogakure, the libraries in Iwagakure lacked the same knowledge their Kumogakure brethren possessed thus it would be a great opportunity she refused to pass up.

*Throb* *Throb* *Throb*

Perhaps it was hunger or the overwhelming bustle of the clearly overly populated Village that caused Rue's head to ache, wooziness seemed to rush over as she blindly directed herself toward the nearest seat she could find. Without realizing Rue accidentally sat atop another persons lap missing the bench completely, the entirety of her weight briefly being placed upon the the poor sod she had just sat on.

''Apologies Ma'am I didn't mean sit on you, my head seems to be acting up alongside my eye site, I just needed to sit before I caused a scene''

The blonde haired woman's vision began to clear once more as she situated herself next to the woman upon the bench rather than on top of her. As impossible as it was Rue's face changed to the brightest of pinks as she surveyed the teenage boy she had clearly just called a woman, how she had even made that wrongful distinction was beyond her line of thought as she placed her hand upon the boys shoulder.

''I am so embarrassed! I'm terribly sorry for just calling you a woman! I had a brief dizzie spell which caused me to not think or see clearly and to make it worse I not only sat on you, but I also called you a woman. A WOMAN of all things!''

Rue's face flushed once more as she reached into her bag and placed a bottle of water into the boys hands as a peace offering of sorts, he looked like he could do with the hydration considering he seemed to be sweating just as much as she. In fairness, the white of his hair did seem to make him look a tad like an elderly woman, especially if a persons eyes were blurred enough.

Asura's face turned bright red the moment the strange girl sat on his lap, blushing for the first time in a very long time, his face went from it's normal colour to what seemed to be a glow, almost literally glowing bright red with embarrassment. He hadn't dyed his hair just yet but he had a new appearance in general. Asura wore a tight black shirt that has short sleeves and reaches to the mid-section of the neck. Over his shirt he wore a blood red hoodie, the sleeves are cut short to keep them at a similar level to the shirt below. Over the hoodie and the shirt is a strange vest with a dark beige colour, it have five straps, one around each shoulder and three around the waist. Over his whole outfit he wore a pure white jacket, long sleved but rolled up to the elbow with a red circle on each shoulder, within the circle is a white symbol, showing the Konohagakure Symbol in the centre. Asura also wore black leather gloves that are designed for comfort in battle, they allow his fingers to move freely while still keeping a tightly fit look. He wore long baggy black trousers with a belt hidden under his blood red hoodie. Covering his feet all the way up to just below the knee, Asura wore dark grey/navy bluish leather boots, again, designed for comfort during battle. Over his left leg, at the thigh, is a dark grey/navy bluish leather strap with a holster to hold Asura's Kunai, going down the side of the strap is Asura's head band that he placed there, fitting it perfectly, keeping it from being scratched or damaged during battle and keeping his new look. In his mouth was what appeared to be a tooth pick he had been chewing on over time, however, it seemed to fall out of his mouth due to the unexpected incident.

His face was still almost glowing while she tried to explain what was wrong, he just looked at her, his face appearing in a half-smile and half shock, almost laughing lightly but unable to make a sound. When she placed the bottle in his hand he looked at it for a few moments before handing it back, "I-I'm alright, thank you..." He spoke faintly, his voice trembling with nervousness. His bright purple eyes seemed to dart around a little before settling on the floor, "I... I'm sorry. It's fine about the... Whole w-woman thing... I don't mind." He let out with a slight stutter. "U-um..." He held out his hand to the strange girl, keeping his eyes on the floor to try and hide his almost glowing face, "I-I'm Asura... A-Asura Senju... Pleasure to meet you." He looked up to her, giving a faint smile, still very nervous, seeming a bit shy, 'This... Is new' he thought to himself, having been ignored completely by almost every girl he had met in Konoha so far.

Considering the events that had just unfolded Rue couldn't help but find a large smirk snake across her face in amusement. With in outburst of a small giggle Rue covered her hand over her face in embarrassment as she realized the boy she had sat on too felt embarrassed by her sudden need to fall helplessly upon her lap. The flush of sickness that had once been displayed upon her face had alleviated, perhaps by the simple remedies of laughter. Her Uncle always said that laughter was the best medicine for any ailment. Though she knew that was just an old persons saying she still felt better after feeling some reassurance that she hadn't crushed the poor boy. He was definitely cute for what appeared to be a teenager, he seemed toned well enough and well on his way up the ranks of Shinobi. The potential was clearly visible judging by the air that surrounded him, even if he did seem a tad nervous due to her sudden presence. Rue nodded as he spoke, leaving a devilish grin upon her face as he stuttered, it was cute to say the least and she would be lying if she didn't admit to being a little flattered by it.

''It's fine child take your time speaking, I knew I was heavy but judging by your words I think I may have damaged more than just your pride. HAHAHA! I am truly sorry for sitting on you though, I think I feel better already thanks to being able sit here WITH you not on you Hahah! Oh what am I doing I'm making you more nervous''

Slowly she surveyed him once more, scraping up every detail she could of the boy. Displayed in full view was the Konohagakure symbol, emblazoned upon his leg headband and symbolized upon the shoulders of his jacket, both proudly displayed for the world to see. Rue was intrigued by the boy immediately, he seemed shy, innocent even and she could feel the tension in the air as he spoke. Intriguing Indeed. After-all it wasn't very often she gained the chance to meet a member from another Village especially one so young. It was definite she would see him again in the future but whether they were enemies or comrades during that time was entirely up to their Kage.

Asura had manners that was for sure, he had introduced himself and held out his hand for a courteous handshake, which she shook with an elegant tenderness. Afterward he had politely declined her offer for the water. Such manners, she wished more Iwagakure MEN were like him, that would make her like seem like a dream. It wasn't till after a few minutes Rue realized he had mentioned he was of the Senju Family name. That particular Clan was famous, even in Iwagakure for their prowess and use of the Kekkei Genkai known as Mokuton or Wood Release. Rue was even more interested now in what Asura had to say now more than ever thus she had decided they would spend a little more time together.

''I'm Misora, Ruesaito but everyone calls me Rue. It's a pleasure to meet such a gentlemen as yourself Asura, especially one so eager to consult with a stranger, let alone another Shinobi from a neighboring country. I applaud you''

Rue took back the bottle he insisted he didn't need with gentleness before reaching into her bag for her pouch of Ryo. Perhaps she could repay him in some other manner and even if he didn't agree to it she still wanted to get to know this boy from The Hidden Leaf, Just out of curiosity. Rue peered over at the beautiful bookstore she had seen on her way in earlier, then took a second glance at the Cafe directly next door. Perfect. Rue jangled the large pouch of Ryo in her hands before turning and speaking

''So Asura... I have errands to run in the bookstore just across the street there and then I'll be heading into the cafe next door with my plunder for a bite to eat, would you care to join me? I'll be more than happy to buy you a meal but first I have a few books I'd like to purchase if that is all right with you?''

Rue felt a sudden need to take care of the Asura, it was a strange feeling knowing he wasn't exactly a boy, but a teenager at the age of Sixteen. Perhaps after awhile he'd also be able to open up to her a little more and relax, she had no intention of harming in anyway, she hoped he realized that.

As Rue shook Asura's hand, he felt a little more calm, but still quite nervous, being around woman wasn't really a natural thing for him. Asura slowly nodded, still blushing brightly as he heard her offer the meal, he had been meaning to visit the book store for quite some time. The book he had with him was written by his grandfather, and it used to be quite a popular fantasy book. It was given to him by his brother, Cero, who gave it to him for some entertainment, however while reading it he kept coming across appearances that reminded him of his father and grandfather, both were really close to one another and only his father, himself and his cousin Dray, could use Wood Release. Which in turn made his grandfather question a few things while writing this book. Asura looked at her, smiling softly while his face continued to glow, not seeming to go away any time soon. "Y-yeah, s-sure, it sounds like fun." He said quietly, "I've been meaning to go into a book store myself, my brother owns one in Konoha." He laughed lightly, his low voice giving off a faint low laugh that didn't seem to suit his current face, his blush seemed to tell something else about himself as he sat with her.

Asura looked back to have a look at the store, it reminded him a lot of his brother's book store, it sold a lot of the similar books that Cero kept and sold. His eyes shifted to the the side to look at the Cafe. His mind went back to when he met that strange man long ago, Rippa, he met him when he went to visit Cero's store. Asura helped him and then went to a Cafe with him to get a Coffee, although the two had only met once, they felt a little closer then just acquaintances. Asura took a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill his lungs, he turned back to Rue, his face blushing a little lighter now and his purple eyes seemed to shine in the sun light, "It sounds like a great plan." He spoke in what could only be described as a weaker version of his normal tone, but it was louder then his normal faint voice he used when talking to her earlier. He still felt a bit embarrassed from the unexpected incident. "Thank you, by the way." His voice softly let out as he smiled at her. Asura could tell, just from her talking, from how she acted, that the two would get along great, that maybe it would turn out great for Asura for a change. "I'm still pretty new to being outside of my Village. I arrived a few days ago and well... This is the first village other then Konoha that I've ever been to." He placed a hand on the back of his head lightly, letting out a faint laugh at a not so funny joke.

Rue stifled a small laugh ready to escape her lips, she enjoyed Asura's company for what it was worth and she didn't want to make him anymore nervous than he already was. It was a strange and eerie feeling conversing with an individual from another Village, perhaps like herself he was just as inexperienced in that regard. Rue's eyes lingered on Asura's face for a few brief seconds, her curiosity completely written across her face as she lightly glared. ''Perhaps he's here for the Chunin Exams?'' As of yet she had yet to meet a participant of the well renown tournament and while she would eagerly back Iwagakure with all her heart, she had a feeling she'd just as likely root for the young man beside her. In time she would pry and ask what it was that brought Asura to Kumogakure. There was something about Asura that reminded her what it was she was fighting for as a Kunoichi, the reason why she first decided to follow the path of a Shinobi. It was not only his innocence but something else about the young man that she couldn't quite place her finger on. Perhaps it was because Asura reminded her of her old student and friend Xeno Shiro, the young boy who would even be similar in age to the young Senju before her. It had been many years since she had last since the young Genin known as Shiro but here was Asura, surfacing memories of Shiro. Peering at Asura, she could even see the similarities between the two thus she enjoyed the nostalgia brought on by it. A friendly smile spread across her face as she nodded at his gentle reply, each word making her heart flutter with admiration for the boys humble attitude. With cat-like grace Rue gathered her composure and tore herself from the wooden bench as she kept her eyes on Asura ''Then it's settled, first stop Bookstore and then the Cafe for a bite to eat.'' she replied.

Rue awaited Asura to stand before she laced her arm through his as if it were a normality to do so ''So your Brother back in Konoha owns a bookstore? I'm intrigued by that, an older sibling capable of owning a bookstore, he must be quite intelligent and I'm I can tell you aren't one to lack brains either'' she said hugging into his arm tighter causing her large chest to squish into his arm. She couldn't help but notice even as young as he looked, he was still considerably taller than she. With a slight giggle Rue waved at a small group of children who were kicking around a ball in the busy street before she continued their trek toward the libraries entrance ''So back in Konoha in your Brother owning his own store that must be a considerable advantage to have at your disposal, a vast wealth of knowledge at your fingertips. People take books for granted but I believe one can learn much if they just took the time to discover the insights they grant'' she said as she lead Asura along the street at a slow yet narrow pace. The two reached the entrance to the bookstore and Rue lightly pushed open it's intricately carved wooden oak door, symbols of clouds and lightning decorated across it's surface. ''Is there something specific you were searching for Asura? or just after something to fill in the time while you're here in Kumogakure?'' Rue said as she signaled a greeting to the bookshop owner who sat at the front desk book in hand. From the entrance of the bookstore sat the desk with the shop owner, opposite him were large aisles of wooden bookshelves jammed packed with countless books, novels and comics organized into genre, type and alphabetical order. Upon the back wall of the decently sized shop were display shelves fulled with multiple types of treasures ranging from old fossils, gems and even incredibly rusted down historical ninja weapons. The book store was literally a walk in the past.

Asura nodded, the blush started fading lightly before Rue laced her arm through his, his blush returned and he nodded lightly, the blush growing a little at the words she spoke, "So your Brother back in Konoha owns a book store? I'm intrigued by that, an older sibling capable of owning a book store, he must be quite intelligent and I'm I can tell you aren't one to lack brains either" Asura laughed a little, feeling the nervousness fading, "U-um, well, my brother, Cero, is actually a little over a year younger then me. He's just so good with his studies that he got to open his own store quite early. I sometimes help out there, like on his birthday, I took the place for the week, it... U-um, helped him out a bit, allowing him to rest." His blush kept as she hugged into his arm, even growing a bit brighter. He had no idea what was going on, but he was more joyful for some reason. His ears caught sound of her giggle as she waved, Asura decided to wave to the children too, although his wave seemed a little off, shaking a little.

The two continued to the book store as he heard her talk once more, "So back in Konoha, your Brother owning his own store that must be a considerable advantage to have at your disposal, a vast wealth of knowledge at your fingertips. People take books for granted but I believe one can learn much if they just took the time to discover the insights they grant." Asura laughed a little, nodding lightly with his bright red face, "Yeah... I've read most of the books there, even the few my grandfather wrote, which really caught my attention." Asura could sense some kind of connection, Rue seemed a lot like his younger sister, Yuki, who enjoyed reading and tormenting Asura. Although Rue was a bit taller and quite more grown then Asura's sister, he could still feel a similar energy coming from the two.

Asura and Rue made their way inside the book store, Rue opeing the door for them as they wandered in. She asked Asura what he was looking for, if there was anything specific that they might find there. Asura looked to her, "Well, I am looking for a few things specifically, yeah..." He unlaced their arms carefully and then cupped his hands slowly over one another. He slowly lifted the top one off and a bright pink lotus flower with a thousand petals grew from the palm of his hand. "This is a thousand-petaled lotus. A beautiful flower that signifies spiritual illumination. I managed to make it with my Mokuton" He smiled lightly, holding the flower out for her to take, "My grandfather wrote a series of books called the 'Thousand-petaled War' I already have the first one, I want to collect the rest to show my family that his work isn't lost. This flower is on the cover of my grandfather's books, his name is Augus Senju. But, the flower itself is for you."

As if in heaven the blonde haired 'angel' perused the tightly congested shelves before her, it never ceased to amaze how so many individuals were capable of such literacy arts. Village's all over the world possessed a Library or Bookstore of some form and even the smaller village's were without exception. Knowledge had helped the world thrive since before the Era of Shinobi, even as their descendants roamed the lands Today, those of the old world were intelligent enough to leave behind records of their lives, their discoveries and the events that lead to creation of their Family line that had been strong enough to survive the tests of time. While not all literacy or books were created on the basis of learning, some were created for entertainment purposes, encouraging amusement and acting as a distraction from the normality of simplistic lives. It was for this reason that Rue believed even if the world were to end, humanity was capable of re-birthing a new world, using knowledge from the old to create a better reality, a better way for life to be lived.

As if to be expected Rue could feel the tension in Asura's body ease, a contented sigh escaped her lips as the pair continued their conversation within the protection the book-stores walls offered. A smile crossed the young blonde's face as Asura laughed before she replied with her own. ''Cero? Such a lovely name, much like your own Asura.'' she said emphasizing the URA of his name before she continued ''Also I must apologize for assuming he was the older sibling, it's not very often you hear of a young man being capable of opening his own store. Such a young age, then he must be a genius in some form. That explains it and If that's the case I cannot wait to see the capabilities that you yourself take pride in'' she said with a playful nod as she reached for a book titled 'Tobi Dick, Written by Chāruzu dikenzu'. A book about a Captain named Kakasho and his obsession with a huge whale, Tobi Dick. The whale caused the loss of Kakasho's leg years before, leaving him to stomp the boards of his ship on a peg leg. Kakasho is so crazed by his desire to kill the whale, that he is prepared to sacrifice everything, including his life, the lives of his crew members, and even his ship to find and destroy his nemesis, Tobi Dick. A smiled crept across her face as she placed the book back upon the shelf before searching for another.

As the beautiful flower bloomed into life within Asura's palm, a surprised look crossed her face as she gently took the lotus from the young Genin. Rue couldn't help but envy the beauty of such a Kekkei Genkai. The power to create life was a beautiful power to possess. ''This is beautiful Asura, Thank you so much for such a gift, I will cherish it with all my heart. I think it looks a little thirsty though'' With a sly smile Rue waved her hand over the gorgeous and alluring flower as a tiny cloud, no larger than her hand seemed to appear out of thin air. After a few minutes the small cloud began to rain into Rue's hand as if watering the flower that lay there. After a few minutes more the cloud evaporated once more into thin air. The flower itself seemed familiar somehow, as if she had seen the details of such a flower once before. Rue had to reach on the tips of her toes in order to do so but she patted Asura on his head as she spoke ''You should be proud that you are collecting such books that hold sentimental value for yourself and your Family. It's an honorable thing to do'' she smiled as she nudged Asura in the shoulder with her Elbow. After peering at the beautiful flower for a few moments, studying each petal with an intense concentration. It was then a realization dawned on her, she had once read a book back in Iwagakure with that very title, even the symbol of the flower inscribed on its cover seemed to recollect within her thoughts. ''Asura I believe I may be able to help you with your collection one day, I believe I once read the book written by your Grand-Father back in Iwagakure. The book belonged to my ex-husband the Tenth Tsuchikage, he had it in his personal library. He had a passion for History and that book in particular peaked his interests as his family and he himself was from the Land of Fire'' she exclaimed excitedly. ''A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots. I believe that was a quote from the very book though my memory is vague'' she said trying piece the words together in her head. ''Perhaps it gives you an excuse to come and visit me one day in Iwagakure, I'd be more than happy to hand it over to you once we meet again''

Asura watched with a bright smile as Rue took the lotus from his hand, hearing her say her thanks, "This is beautiful Asura, Thank you so much for such a gift, I will cherish it with all my heart. I think it looks a little thirsty though" Asura nodded lightly before realizing her smile, he watched her wave her hand over the thousand petaled lotus. Asura watched in awe as the cloud formed and rain over the gift he gave, stunned by her power. Rain was an amazing thing, Asura loved walking in rain, he loved the feel of it, it was one of the main reasons he took to water the way he did and practically ignored his Earth Release. Water seemed to flow freely, like Asura, without restraints, there was nothing he enjoyed more then feeling water against his skin, swimming or just relaxing in the water, it always helped him feel more alive then he normally does, more then how his Wood Release made him feel. He spoke lightly, almost under his breath, while still smiling "Such an amazing ability."

He watched her and blushed lightly as she patted him on the head, hearing her speak again, "You should be proud that you are collecting such books that hold sentimental value for yourself and your Family. It's an honorable thing to do" He laughed a little at that, his mind was starting to drift away but then he was nudged. He looked down to her with the same smile, ready to hear words. Asura's smile grew, he had found another book, one of the many he had been searching for. "You actually have one of the books?" He asked with great deal of excitement in his voice. "That is amazing, and for it to belong to the Tsuchikage, it is an honour, a true honour to hear that. I never expected my grandfather's books to be so popular or respected. I will definitely come and visit, not only for the book though. I believe I made a truly amazing friend today, Rue. I'm glad I met you." He gave her a bow before standing up properly, smiling brightly at her.
