Click.Clack.Click.Clack.Thud.Sakumi's face planted onto the ground but she quickly rose again.Hope forcing her on.Thump.Thump.Thump.Tump.Sakumi bit at her lip slightly increasing her speed."NOT SO FAST!"A demonic voice called reaching at her leg. Sakumi screamed as the creature pulled her into the darkness behind."Poor Sakumi you can't run from your own shadow,"The beast said teasingly.teasingly. Sakumi faced the creature and kicked at it."Ah ah ah you can't hurt me Sakumi,"Sakumi closed her eyes and opened them again.

Huff.Huff.The child shook her head as she looked forward.Another dang nightmare.But this one was different."My own shadow but how?"Sakumi questioning the beasts logic.As she gained control of her sense she realized the blanket was wet."Are you serious again..."Sakumi put on her dress and put her stuff inside the backpack she carried.She sat done before slowly unwrapping her bandage."No blood...but this was the worst nightmare iv'e ever faced!"She thought. Sakumi sat down just enjoying the sounds of nature around her.

Sakumi's heart stopped.Someone or something was behind her.Could they be trying to hurt her?Kill her?For all she knew it was some kind of talking dog!Sakumi moved slowly grabbing a small rock.Even though she didn't support harming others this could be a life or death situation.Sweat poured down her skin as she analysed her situation."So this is an adult male voice...right....so if i'm lucky and aim high the rock should hit his eye so I can get away...but what if he's expecting that!Sakumi calm down if he is expecting it he'll be busy dodging the rock,"

Sakumi finally came to a decision if she had to hurt him to get away she would.But she was too afraid to move.She finally bit her lip as she turned herself quickly and threw the rock.Her leg quickly made impact to a medium rock in a unprofessional angle.She screamed agony in as the rock twisted her ankle.Her back hit the ground beneath her as her hair went over her face."Don't move no matter the pain,come on Sakumi!Let it out DEVIL,"She thought. Sakumi couldn't herself any longer as she screamed for help,all her strength and added to it.As her hair covered her face and her screaming taking up all the sound in her ear she didn't know what happened to the stranger,nor did she know what that demonic voice was.

Huff.Huff."Kill him Sakumi he's lying"A voice called aigain keeping it's demonic voice."What do you mean I trust him!"Sakumi cried inside her mind.Sakumi awakened outside of her mind and realised the voice was making her ignore the pain."If you listen Sakumi i'll get rid of the pain,"The voice offered."Help me...please i'm hurt...and I think i got brain damage and possibly fractured my ankle..."She whispered.

Sakumi couldn't bear this huge bothersome pain.But she couldn't pass out,it was tearing her mind apart slowly but surely.She had to yell whether she hated it or not,for if she didn't she could get an infection or even worse not heal the bone!"HELP ME!"She shouted louder.She moved her hair to the side to see the young man he stood there staring at her.She saw her vision go blurry as her mind was confused with nausea.How was she gonna go on any longer.It was up to the stranger to help her...she prayed he would.

Sakumi felt her body being lifted ever so gently.She breath slowed as the strange man carried her.His motions felt like cradling as he walked slowly.As Sakumi let herself enjoy the ride her mind went to a sense of fear."What is he doing?!"Sakumi said in her mind suddenly afraid.She carefully opened her eyes to see something it shined bright in the light."Is that water?"Sakumi thought.Sure she didn't like water much but he was going to help her...help is help after all."Do you really trust this random stranger!He could drown you!"

Drowning was a thought but if he tried she'd scream even louder than before.She felt the young man slow down and place her onto the ground gently.He approached the water and soak and object.She sighed in relief that he wasn't going to hurt her.As he treated her foot Sakumi decided to break the ice."I'm Sakumi...Sakumi Chuia,"Sakumi said quietly."I'm a genin and want to thank you..."The man put the cloth to her head and she relaxed even more."Whats your name...because I would like someone smart like you as my Sensei...if you can spare the time?"She asked."Seems you are smart you little wimp of a girl!Use him until your strong enough to kill him!"Sakumi ignored the voice inside her head and smiled.She hoped he'd say yes.

Sakumi immediately realized where this situation could go.If she wasn't careful with her words he could get mad and hurt her."No Sakumi he's not here to kill you,"She said to her racing mind."But still better careful."She thought of an offer...Anything could easily go wrong...a fight but then the effort would be wasted...what about she had it!"I'll represent you for the Chunnin exams!But there's no guarantee i'll will win and become a Chunnin...but I promise to at least win one round!You won't regret I promise"


Sakumi showed a look of determination.She wouldn't give up she would impress him no matter what the cost.She attempted hiding her fear and bit her lip in curiosity of what he would say.Sweat went down her face ass she noticed Tenzo was sweating too."You should take a swim you look like you need one,"Sakumi said smiling yet again."Not to offend you in anyway,"

Sakumi cringed,no one wanted to know where she came from but now all of a sudden a person she just met was asking her."No point in lying.. but a white lie won't hurt nobody...no Sakumi be honest he deserves it anyway."My...my...i'm alone because my mother died...i ran away from the orphanage and lived by myself on the outskirts of the village...making a ryo or two from jobs.But its not enough for me to have a meal everyday...I have no friends your the closest thing i even have to one,"Sakumi her eyes turning reddish.

"As for my clan and real family I HATE THEM!"She shouted towards Tenzo."Look at myself a fourteen year old child yelling at a person who saved her...i'm a broken child...my parents wouldn't want me if I was the hokage...i'm the devil they say...but I only believe that when there's nothing else to believe.But no you asked for about my family not my life...i'm sorry for the outburst but I had to just let it out..."Sakumi shouted speaking fast before eventually stopping."What about you Tenzo,"She said finally delivering the shaky words.

Sakumi eyes widened at the sight of the wave.As it splashed upon her body she looked at her friend.The child realized what he was trying to do."He's trying to make me forget about my past...so why should I stand here and not have any fun?"She thought. Sakumi gave Tenzo a big smile before running to the edge of the spring.

"I may be a loser but i'm not a sore one!"Sakumi said to herself as she cannon balled into the water.A large of water rocketed into the as her body made contact with the water.The child held her nose as she rose out the water.Her eyes turned to the water underneath her before aiming to her sensei."Thanks for getting me to a happier mood for once Dad!"Sakumi said...wait did she say dad?!"I mean aaaa...uhhh Dude?"Sakumi said blushing as she forced her head back under water."Look what you did Sakumi now he'll get freaked out!"

Sakumi quickly went up for air after hearing those words.As she took in each breath she did realized that there was a possibility of a cold."I didn't scare him off?Great..."Sakumi thought pulling herself to the edge of the spring.She hoisted herself onto the soft grass and  grabbed her sandals placing them onto the ground.She pulled out her feet and looked at Tenzo.


"Sorry about the dad thing earlier I mean't something else...now about that fire,"Sakumi finally said smiling."I'm controlling an idiotic nervous freak!"The voice in her head yelled."Shut up you stupid thing why are you doing this!"Sakumi said in her head."I control you!You don't want to listen then guess what?!"It responded.

Sakumi felt a headache rage into her head."AHHH!"Sakumi shouted as she plummeted into the water below.The child reached for the surface but was given another horrible headache."Ah ah ah no swimming unless you listen,"The voice threatened."Tenzo help!...my head hurts... I can't swim!"Sakumi shouted barely keeping her head above the water.Water filled into her lungs setting them into a state of extreme pain.All of a sudden Sakumi's eyes closed and her body numbed."You are the devil aren't you voice?"There was no need to answer for it was the devil...her devil.

Darkness was surrounding every little centimeter of Sakumi.Seeming to close in and suffocate her.The child shook her head as a figure appeared in front of her."Who are you!Let me go please!"Sakumi shouted in fear."Why are you yelling at yourself Sakumi?Well for now I am you...till you have a child anyway,"The figure spoke approaching her.

The figures grayish blue eyes pierced into the darkness,before a light red t-shirt made its way into Sakumi's nekomata eyes.Light tan skin complimented her tomboyish frame before the figure smiled.Sakumi backed away."Who are you?!"Sakumi asked fear in her eyes."I'm your daughter...Torturer of the innocent and weak...the devil your cannot release yourself..."It replied with a devilish grin."Born second of you and your future spouse... i'll let you live for now but next time it's your friends and family!But your lover i'll leave...don't want to be stuck here forever!"

Sakumi felt several pumps onto her chest.Tenzo?Cough. Cough.Wheeze.Cough.Sakumi's purple eyes widened as Tenzo pumped at her chest guilt in his eyes.Sakumi pushed him away as she turned onto her knees and countinued to cough.First water then blood.Tears flowed down her face as she looked at Tenzo."Thank you,"She cried attempting to force him into a hug.

Sakumi looked at her purple dress and waited until Tenzo disappeared into the trees before taking it off.All Sakumi had left was a white t shirt and and a pair gray sport shorts.At this point Sakumi was not only terrified but nervous.What if this wasn't her imagination and was her child?What if her inner devil broke out on her new friend?

Sakumi got onto her feet and grabbed her clothing,making them into a pile.She already felt the fever set in."Ahh chooo!Oh man....I hope Tenzo comes back soon,"Sakumi said to herself. Sakumi was tired trying to keep alive all day...Tenzo was probably too.

Sakumi reached into her pocket and took out a small bag.She reached into it and pulled out a few coffee flavored candies.They were not for everyday eating but it was a small snack every once in a while. Tenzo would probably like one after all that happened today.She placed some a few feet in front of her and a kept a few in her hand,waiting for Tenzo to return.

As the fire glowed in the setting sun Sakumi’s brought up a report of today.Food?Not much but check.Mental status?Probably going crazy but mostly fine,check.Last minute training for the chunnin  exams?Check wait what!She was gonna not only fail but probably get destroyed!After all the reports of genin getting killed or captured she was gonna forget and go out into the wilderness!Tenzo had to be going too right?He was a jounin!

“Tenzo are you going to the chunnin exams!?I don’t want to go alone!”Sakumi said biting her lip.She felt like she was pushing Tenzo a bit but it was an important question.Maybe more important than her own problems.She just had to at least try!

She wasn’t a physical fighter or a mental one.But when it came to ranged combat the floor was hers.When it was a battle of intelligence it was just gonna be a small game of cat and mouse with her as the cat.She would enter scared and leave injured even if she did win.She rather take the most hits and knock out the person than kill.Even if she had to nearly get killed.She had potential but right now it was Tenzo’s call.It relied on him.

Sakumi was disappointed by the answer but gladly let Tenzo go."How am I going to go by myself?What if I get killed?...come on Sakumi how are you going to get here?Most genin where already going so I have to go alone...what if I travel by night and hide in the shadows by day?Yes that's perfect...I hope so anyway..."

Sakumi had a will..not only that but intelligence.But no matter how hard she tried to ignore it her devil wouldn't stop biting at her own brain,trying to gain control by force.Making her into its slave.It teared her apart having to listen to it.She wasn't another person's chess piece...for she was a pawn to herself.
